SO. I am planning my wedding. And... well... I need your ideas.

What sounds like something awesome that would fit a wedding well?

Also, any advice in general?

Bring it on!

I want a steam punk wedding. That doesn't help you, but yeah. Also, heavy grats hun. That's wonderful!

You are awesome, Audy!

Weirdly enough (or not that weirdly, if you have read my novels and understand my obsession with birds) the theme actually has birds. And natural elements. And... it's really pretty.

Speaking of which... if only this weren't so expensive.

Oh my gosh Ms. Snoinkster! You're getting MARRIED! It's like a few minutes ago that I didn't know you will be. Anyways, your theme is very serene, perfect for a wedding of your sorts :)

Birds, birds, birds. If you can't get the glass expensive one, how about recycle one? Or two? Or more? You've said natural elements, right? Then maybe someone from the wedding committee can play with old paper to create stuffs for the wedding. Cheap, eh? But at least it's different!

Oh, and have you chosen your dress? What appeared in my mind was a beautiful swan like gown, you know, a bit of glaze here and there, and maybe some face painting! Hahaha! Someone like you wouldn't settle for something too bland for sure :)
Need some feed? Then read some! Take a look at today's Squills at In the News.

I just really needed to scream after reading that topic title:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
OMG, I'm happy for you XD

And well, birds are pretty. Is the theme colour going to be pink then?

Big white wedding with all the trims, or smaller informal ceremony?

Spoiler
I've been to both kinds, and both kinds are awesome and fun. The former is obviously a bit more expensive, but it's still pretty awesome. Usually more "Wow!" inducing than the latter. However, the latter is quieter, if you're not that into big social events with loud people. It can also be more kicked back and casual if you're not one for formalities.

Catering, or potluck?

Spoiler
Again, the former is more expensive, but depending on your preference in general, is probably worth it. Rather than being limited to a menu of what people you know know how to cook well, you're more limited based on what you want to pay for. On the other hand, if you were going for the informal, potentially more intimate ceremony, then potluck would probably be a good option. You might also do a combination of both to get the best of both worlds.

Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall wedding? Have a date yet? What about color scheme, if any?

Indoor or outdoor?

Spoiler
Both can be gorgeous, depending on the location. If outside, then probably make sure you have an in door location as a back up in case the weather decides to do a 180 on you. If you're planning at holding your wedding at someone's house, perfect! You've got both options, and assuming you know this person, it's also most likely the cheaper option. If you're planning on renting a location out, however, then that's awesome too. Again, opens up more options for you. My uncle got married this last fall in a nearby park by a river, and it was beautiful. The weather was nice the entire time, and the autumn leaves in the background made for some stunning pictures. My other uncle got married at a vineyard, and it was equally as beautiful. The ceremony was held outside, but they had the building rented out as well, so equal amounts of time were spent in doors and out doors. Both ceremonies were gorgeous. As long as you make sure to have an indoor back up option for the weather, you can't really go wrong.
