The holidays are in full swing now, and 2012 is almost over, so what are you thankful for this year? And what are you looking forward to next year?

Sad that 2012 is almost over. It went by so fast.
I'm thankful that I have a lot of people who would stand beside for whatever problems that have rose this year but unfortunately, when coming to personal matters, I felt 2012 was quite a bad year for me.

Next year, I'd be looking forward to a bit of good luck, perhaps, for my exams where I'm working hard. And a much better year that 2012. I've always felt 2013 will be a good year. I hope my beliefs are true. =))

AND LOTS MORE TIME TO SPEND ON YWS! That would be the biggest gift I would want. And I hope I celebrate my birthday this year because for the last 3 years, I haven't. :S

Not much to look forward to. I just hope 2013 won't let me down like 2012 did.

I'm thankful for the opportunities I had this year to explore different facets of my future career opportunities! I had my first legitimate writing job, ran a one-time literary magazine for one of my classes, and got my first publication in an anthology of short stories (as well as got to give my first author reading for the book!).

Next year I'm looking forward to planning a trip to visit my military boyfriend, and to keep working toward my goals, both in my career and my life.
Got YWS?

I'm thankful for my first year in college, and the multitude of opportunities I've been given, for all the new friends I've made, all the fun I've had and all the new experiences. And for a nearly whole year with my boyfriend. That's been nice.

Next year I'm looking forward to having more free time! I'm looking forward to getting back into shape and back to doing the things that I love. I'm also looking forward to my summer plans and to the next academic year and my first placements.

2012 has been a good year!
I'm thankful for the opportunities I had in the summer, for my first grad school admit, for the different dimensions of friendships, for school, for multifarious personal projects of the year which turned out to be quite a success.

2013 is going one exciting adventure I can't wait for. New places, faces, spaces, ideas to explore. Grad school adventures, more responsibilities, a job and finally leaving home.
But before going all the way there, I will have to get through my UG thesis work, some weddings and such fun.
And also, I will graduate, hopefully with a First Class Distinction rankholder (which is the highest you can get) and perhaps go on a trip after that.

It's time to goodbye to 2012. Cheers and have a wonderful 2013 you guys. ^^
