I gently scoop Rayah up and stand, carrying her into the bathroom. Hesitating, I decide to just set her in the water without worrying about her clothes, as she'd make a struggle of it anyway. I gently place her in the tub and sit on the floor beside her, "Just relax, Rayah. You're on a plane. It's a nice plane, so you have to stay still or the flight attendants will get mad. It should warm up a little soon. Just keep calm and relax.
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I swallow and look back at Rayah, bringing my legs to my chest and wrapping my arms around them, "I-I don't know. I'm not a med student. Well... I'm majoring in psychology, but that's not even close to what's happening here... I have no clue, and it scares the sh*t out of me."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I retract my hand and run my other through my hair, closing my eyes and resting my forehead on my knees, "Why is the hospital closed? Isn't there a campus nurse or doctor?"
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
I try to keep calm, my own illness causing tears of hysteria to burn behind my eyes and emotions to course through my veins, "Ray, baby, calm down. We're almost there."
I'm never what I like I'm double sided And I just can't hide I kind of like it When I make you cry 'Cause I'm twisted up, twisted up Inside
