I pull back, Jackie's scent growing larger when I see her cut herself with wrapping paper. I dissapear as fast as light, speeding to the kitchen and then behind her, watching the blood drop from her finger. She dries it and I move my eyes to her neck, my fangs coming out.

I try to think of my options, eyes setting on the blinds at the end of the hallway. Swallowing, i drag her towards it and open one slit just to shock her, nothing more, in hopes it might snap her out of things.
