Jace

He nods slowly, breaking into a smile, "Awesome."

Rayah

She nods and flashes a smile back, "Yeah."

I hesitate, glancing at Jace, "Tell them your news. About...what I did yesterday."

Jace

I hesitate, studying Rayah, before turning to them and flashing a smile, "I, uh, had her turn me."

Rayah

I nod and Jackie's face goes pale, "W-What?"

Jace

Nic studies me a moment before bringing a hand to his wrist and looking down, avoiding my gaze. I frown for a moment before repeating, keeping a straight expression.

Rayah

She looks down as well and I look at Jace, before looking at Jackie, "I'm sorry, guys," I sigh, "But it's the only way we could be together."

She sighs, looking up, "I understand. It's just...I...I wanted my baby to have aunts and uncles...that, are not, twenty... And can kill without second thought."

Jace

I swallow and look at Rayah before looking back at the two of them, "We still can be there. We'll just have to be careful."

Rayah

"I'm not sure I want that," She whispers, "Atleast he's until certain age where he can defend himself."

Jace

I study them a moment before looking down, nodding in understanding. Nic hesitates but stands, walking out without another word.

Rayah

I watch Nic go, swallowing and looking back at Jae before kissing him on the cheek and whispering that everything'll be okay.

Jackie

I run after Nic, walking by his side, "Okay, great idea Nic, lets leave your fiancè and son in a room alone with two vampire- werewolves. That's safe," I mutter, arms crossed.

Jace

I flash a smile of assurance at Rayah and nod, resting my temple against hers.

Nic

I swallow and try to compose myself, finding it hard to breathe. Stopping, I set a hand on the wall and try to clear my mind. Now is not the time for a panic attack, Nic. Snap out of it.

Rayah

I kiss him quickly, sighing.

Jackie

I keep walking to my dorm, slamming the door and going to my bed. I close the door to my room, locking it and turning on music before doing homework. Whatever. He didn't seem excited anyways.

Jace

I kiss her back before wrapping an arm around her waist and looking at the door.

I close my eyes and slide to the ground, curling up. Calm down, Niccy. You can go after her once you're okay. Deep breaths.

Rayah

I close my eyes, wrapping an arm around his neck before taking a deep breath.

I finish my math and pull out my laptop, starting my essay.

Jace

I move her on my lap and wrap my other arm around her, burying my face in her hair.

I shake my head before standing, making my way to Jackie's dorm and flashing in, "B-baby, I-I can't breathe."
