Rayah

I watch, not thirsty as I lie down and look at the ceiling.

Jace

I finish and lie back down, wiping my lips before looking at her, "Thank you."

Rayah

I smile, thinking before smiling, "You are now 20 forever."

Jace

I smile, taking her hand again, "Wait... I thought we were twenty-two."

Rayah

I FaceTime myself, "I'm twenty, your twenty-two. I'm such a dumba*s," I sit up, sighing as I stand.

Jackie walks in looking at me, "I need to tell you something."

"Hm?" I ask, arms crossed.

She glances at Jace, "Preferably alone."

Jace

I hesitate before standing, still tired from what happened. Taking a deep breath, I make my way to the door and stand out in the hall while they speak.

Rayah

She smiles, closing the door, and holds up a test, "We're having a baby."

"NO WAY," I smile, trying not to scream, "Have you told him yet?"

She shakes her head, "No...I've been trying to stall from doing anything until I do. Like...telling him I'm too tired, or pretending to be busy. We just have to wait until tomorrow morning."

I clap, "Oh my god, that's so awesome."

She nods and bites her lip, glancing at the door as I tell Jace he can come in.

Jace

I walk back in and shut the door behind me, studying the two without a word.

Rayah

I awkwardly shift on one foot and clears her throat, "So...I'm gonna get some sleep," She walks to the door, "See you tomorrow morning?"

Jace

I move away from the door and make my way back to the bed as I let Rayah answer, my head still slightly hurting.

Rayah

I nod and she studies Jace before leaving.

I move to Jace as well and lie beside him, wrapping my arms around him, "Tomorrow, you'll feel better. I promise."

Jace

I nod and flash a smile, wrapping my arms back around her, "I know. What was that all about?"

Rayah

"You'll see tomorrow," I tell him, closing my eyes.

Jace

I study her before closing my eyes as well.

Rayah

I fall asleep, tired.
