Rayah

I smile and nod, looking at Jackie, "Give Nic yours now," I nudge her.

She smiles and shakes her head, "I want mine to be last."

Jace

Nic studies her before removing a slim box from his jacket and handing it over.

Rayah

I watch, Jackie glancing at him with a smile before opening it, "If it's expensive I'm going to kill you," She says playfully, "Just kidding."

Jace

Nic chuckles, watching her open it. Inside, a silver necklace lies with a ring around the chain.

"I didn't think I'd be giving it to you in front of them," he admits. "I also didn't think wise-a*s would be doing the same thing with his girl. I thought it would just be me."

Rayah

Her eyes widen, "Nic...s'beautiful..." She kisses him quickly, slipping the necklace on and putting the ring around her finger.

Jace

Nic smiles and reddens slightly for the first time I've ever seen. He kisses her back and wraps an arm around her.

Rayah

She hesitates when it's her turn, handing him a card.

Jace

Nic hesitates, opening the card.

Jackie

A baby blue ribbon slips around the card, the front of it saying, It's a boy, and im the inside saying, congratulations, your now a dad to a healthy baby boy. Expected date: March 2nd.

Jace

Nic stares at it for a moment before looking up at her, "Really? A baby boy?"

Rayah

She nods and flashes a smile, "Yeah. That's why I said I was tired lay night, and why I was wearing those really heavy jackets to cover the bump."

Jace

He studies her, smiling lightly in shock, "Wait... but we just had it yesterday. There's already a bump?"

Rayah

She hesitates, "Remember that time about a month ago," She looks down, "When you just came to visit? Yeah...that was what happened."

Jace

He studies her, confused, "Why don't I remember that?"

Rayah

Jackie looks at me and I try not to laugh.

She sighs, "You...kind of got drunk."
