Winter Theme and new Header Images

As you may have noticed, YWS is now sporting a bit of an updated look. She has snowflakes in the background, some snowfall at the bottom of the site, and a Santa cap on the logo that screams class and sophistication.

In addition, though, I also added new header images to all of the main tabs save for settings and blogs. It started with me just wanting to make the Literary tab look a little better, and then I decided I liked it so much, I added header images to the other tabs.

In my haste to update last night, I forgot to include that all the images come from Vlad Studio. I bought a commercial license to use his images several years ago, and I think it's probably some of the best money I've ever spent.

Also. You know the clouds at the bottom of each page? They look like clouds to me. So, we're having snow that move upwards! How cool is that?!

(It's more fun pretending they're clouds rather than a pile of snow)

They're very cute and add character.

EDIT: Also, if you plan keeping them, it would be a fun contest idea for YWSers to design banners. And Vlad is awesome. I really like the style.

Aye, the header images are here to stay and the one on the homepage will probably be frequently updated. There will also be a lot more of them soon enough.

Contests for user-designed headers sound like a pretty cool idea.
