Site-wide strategy session and RADIO SHOW on December 16!

On December 16, we'll be holding the first ever YWS strategy session in the chatroom. It's due to begin at 5pm EST, and to last for at least an hour.

The session will begin with the first YWS Radio Show (online) of the year! The show will last for about 30 minutes, during which time you can call in, listen to me blabber, and listen to a few songs.

Once the radio show ends, we'll move into discussion about how the site can grow and what we can do to boost reviewing. If you come, I promise to not harm any protozoa. If you don't come, then the protozoa get it. Capiche?

Darn! I'm at school on the 17th, the Wednesday after that being the last day of the term. Hope all goes well without me and be sure to share the evil plans!

Will there be a countdown timer closer to the event? The reason I ask is because I'm terrible when it comes to converting times and I think that where I am, we are almost a day ahead of the states.

It's only 30 minutes long due to changes in Blog Talk Radio's policy. We used to be able to do as much as two hours free. Now, though, it's only 30 minutes. To do more than that, we'd need to pay $39 per month, which I don't think is worth it.

So needless to say, if you want to call in, you better do so when it begins!

For future reference (now that the show's over) is it possible to call in from the UK? Because I kept getting told that I had no answer by my phone.

Yep, it's possible to call from anywhere. When you call, make sure to use the US calling code though.

For reference:

International users can call in via Skype, for free. All yoi need to do is got to the blog talk page, log in / sign in with email id/facebook. (I'd advice standard internet safety protocol when giving out facebook info).
Thn, click on the skype to talk button on the webpage after making sure your skype application is logged in.

It will tell you that if you want to make a call, press 1, so do that and wat!

Also. For me personally, Skype was clearer than normal mobile phone usage.
