We found Shane and the rainbow haired girl- Lynn, and we walked down the hall. Zander was still trying to get me convinced but I ignored it. I can't do this. Really. We walked the hall with Ellie, Lucy and I too scared to get out of the hotel.
"What are we going to do?” Lucy asks. “We cannot go out there, we might get shot.”
"What if someone's hurt? They could die." Ellie joins in.
"We are going to die if we go out there. We cannot risk it." I declared.
“We can't get out of this hotel without getting noticed. We are like sitting ducks if we stay here.” Shane says.
Really? He doesn't get the point!
"Well, what do you suppose we do?" Lucy asks.
Shane shrugs. "I don't know."
This is getting on my nerves. None of us know what to do, and Lynn is bleeding! I mean, we have to get her healed or something or she's going to die! I didn't want anyone of us to die.
"Maybe we all could take up a room and stay here till morning. If we don't hear anything till tomorrow, we'll move out." I say, walking in the middle of the group.
"What? Are you crazy? They might not make a sound today because none of us are seen! Tomorrow, once we get out, we're all fried meat!" Lucy exclaims.
"If you're going to sit in this hotel like a chicken, then fine! Loose your life." I say, frowning.
Just then, I see Shane grabbing on to his elbow, almost dropping Lynn when Ellie and Lucy caught on to her. We turned back to see that fake blonde - Jade. I shook my head. I knew it was her! She looked like one of those evil ones.
Her gun aimed at me, and my eyes widened. Zander looks at me, horrified. "If anyone moves..." Jade started, slowly and narrowed her eyes to me. "She dies."
OH, CRAP!
I started shaking so much, that everyone froze. Shane was on the ground and Zander wanted to help me, I could see from the corner of my eye. Jade walked towards us caught my hair, the pistol on the back of my head.
"Don't move. Don't you dare make another sound." she said, steadily. "Move, barbie."
Jade pushed me to the front and I started walking, leaving the rest behind.
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.
"What are we going to do?" Lucy asked. "We cannot go out there, we might get shot."
If we stay here, we'll get shot. I thought bitterly. Dad just couldn't let me stay home, could he? Look at the mess he got me into.
"What if someone's hurt? They could die," Ellie said.
I looked down at Lynn, who was lying limply in my arms, her blood trickling down my arms. I sighed. No, I guess I should be glad I'm here...they need help. These ladies aren't the kind of girls to know how to avoid gunmen.
"We are going to die if we go out there. We cannot risk it." Viola stated.
They have no idea.
“We can't get out of this hotel without getting noticed. We are like sitting ducks if we stay here.” Shane said.
"Well, what do you suppose we do?" Lucy asks.
Shane shrugs. "I don't know."
I sighed. The problem is that I don't either...but we can't just stay here. Lynn needs help.
"Maybe we all could take up a room and stay here till morning. If we don't hear anything till tomorrow, we'll move out." Viola said, pushing her way to the center of the group, giving me a dirty look.
"What? Are you crazy? They might not make a sound today because none of us are seen! Tomorrow, once we get out, we're all fried meat!" Lucy exclaimed.
"If you're going to sit in this hotel like a chicken, then fine! Loose your life." Viola spat.
There was a gunshot. I leap towards the wall, knocking Ellie and Lucy over, trying to turn Lynn towards the wall- wishing that Viola would get nearer to me, so I could try to protect her, without killing Lynn in the process.
She was standing, staring at Shane, who was clutching his elbow- then turning back to see the bleach blond, Jade, coming towards us, a gun pointed at us.
Jade turned the gun on Viola. I gasped, my heart racing, my chest tight, making it hard to breathe. I watched Viola, horrified, wanting desperately to get her out of the way- knowing that I couldn't beat a bullet.
"If anyone moves," Jade said slowly, narrowing her eyes at Viola. "She dies."
Viola started trembling, her eyes filling with tears. Shane was on the ground, holding his elbow. Jade stormed towards us, grabbed Viola's hair, and shoved the pistol into the back of her head.
"Don't move. Don't you dare make another sound." She said slowly, steadily. I set Lynn on the ground, on Lucy and Ellie's laps. "Move, Barbie."
Breathlessly I watched as Viola took a step forwards. Jade turned towards us, waving the gun towards the other girls. She saw my look, half a second too late, and turned the gun towards me, as I hurtled myself through the air.
There was a gun shot. An explosion of pain in my left shoulder. I landed on her, tackling both her and Viola. I jerked the pistol away from her, throwing it as hard as I could, down the hallway, hitting her, hard, three times.
I froze as blood appeared on her face. I stopped, horrified. "Oh my god," I gasped.
"Get her!" Viola screamed.
"I can't hit her... she's a girl," I said, my eyes wide, as I was trying to keep her from hitting me.
"Move then," Viola snarled, as she jumped onto Jade.
I stood and watched, glad that another girl was taking up the fight that my morals had ended.

All of us watched Zander make his way to this fake blonde and Viola. He jumped onto them, landing all of them onto the floor. He grabbed the pistol and threw it down the hall and threw punches at the girl.
Viola and Zander talked some once he stopped punching and they switched places. She was knocking that girl out.
My heart was still beating too fast and I couldn't control my breathing. I was so scared, especially for Viola. She could have died.
"Come on guys!" Zander called to us.
We ran up to them, watching Viola kept on throwing punches. That fake blonde was bleeding hard, her nose already cracked open.
"Viola, I think that's enough." I said.
"No. She deserves to die."
"Shoot her. It'll be easier." Shane suggested.
Lynn was in his arms. She looked so peaceful but then again, begging for life.
"Give me a gun."
Zander looked alarmed, walking back up to Viola. "No shooting." he hissed. She looked back at him, glaring.
"Why not?" she hissed back.
"It'll be on your conscience. You would have murdered someone Viola. Just stop." he begged.
There was silence. Viola stood up, blood running down her fists. We backed up a bit from her, giving her some space.
"Is she still alive?" Ellie asked.
"You check yourself." Viola replied full of venom.
Shocked, Ellie knelled down and touched the girl's pulse. "Still beating, barely." Once she pulled her fingers away, the girl wrapped her hands around Ellie's neck. Her face was turning blue and eyes as wide as they could ever be.
"Jesus!" I screamed.
I bent down and tried to unclaw the blonde's hands form Ellie's neck. It was easy, she was weak. I managed and the hands flew off her neck. Ellie's face went back to normal but she was panting.
"Jade is sill conscious." Shane said.
"Really?" The blonde, who's name is Jade, croaked.
I punched her as hard as I could, watching her eyes shut and my fist hit her nose. Shacking her, I tried to make sure she was unconscious.
"Gone," Ellie touched her pulse again. "Steady,"
"Good,"

I was happy we found Lucy. At least she wasn't dead. Lynn was pleading for life, resting in my arms. We needed to save her.
After all this Jade action, Zander and Viola tied up her arms with some rope and her legs. They took all the weapons, keys, anything that could be useful off of her and threw her in a room. They locked it up.
"Shane, you get the pistol." Viola slid it in my picket since I was holding Lynn.
"Lucy, bow and arrow. Ellie, switchblade. I have a pistol and Zander, I think you're covered."
He pulled out his own switchblade.
I heard some running come from behind us. Everyone turned around and saw a guy, holding some bows and an arrow. He was filled with anger.
"Where's she?" he asked.
"Who?" we asked at once.
"Jade..." his eyes were searching the room.
"In there. We knocked her out and locked her up." Ellie confirmed.
"Good," he smiled.

"Come on guys!" I called to the others, gladly watching as Viola beat Jade to a pulp.
"Viola, I think that's enough." Lucy said.
No, mess her up!
"No. She deserves to die."
That's right! She shot me. Kill her!
"Shoot her. It'll be easier." Shane suggested.
"Give me a gun."
I started as the realness of the situation suddenly hit me. As much as I wanted to make Jade pay, I knew that I couldn't let Viola do that to herself.
"No shooting," I said.
She glared at me. "Why not?"
"It'll be on your conscious. You would have murdered someone Viola. Just stop." I pleaded.
There was silence. Viola stood up, blood running down her fists- glaring at me hatefully. I took a step back, as did everyone else.
"Is she still alive?" Ellie asked.
"You check yourself." Viola snarled.
Ellie looked horrified, but bent and took the girl's pulse. "Still beating, barely."
As soon as Ellie pulled her hand away, Jade's arms shot up, and her fingers wrapped around Ellie's neck, making her face turn a bluish color- her eyes wide.
"Jesus!" Lucy screamed.
Lucy hurriedly ripped Jade's fingers from Ellie's neck.
"Jade's sill conscious." Shane said.
He's a quick one.
"Really?" Jade asked sarcastically.
Good lord, can't someone at least knock the bitch out for me? It can't be that hard to do.
Lucy jumped toward, slamming her fist into Jade's nose. Jade's eyes fluttered close once more, and her head tilted to the side.
"Gone," Ellie touched her pulse again. "Steady,"
"Good," Lucy stated.
I narrowed my eyes. Not good. An accidental killing wouldn't weigh as strongly on your conscious.
"Well now what do we do with her?" Viola snarled. "Now that she's not dead."
"I don't give a shit," I stated. "Throw her in the ocean for all I care."
"I thought you didn't want her to die."
"I didn't say I didn't want her to die- I do. I said that I didn't want her blood to be on your hands."
"What's the difference between a bullet and the ocean?"
"Besides the physiological differences?" I sneered. " 'Cause they should be rather easy to-"
"Screw you."
"Whatever. That way she'll have a chance."
"Oh yeah, 'cause the unconscious girl can swim like an Olymian."
"Fine," I shouted, throwing my hands in the air, grimacing and holding my left shoulder. "Shoot her. I don't give a shit! Try to sleep at night! Go ahead! I was trying to protect you!"
"Don't worry about me!" she shouted.
"Here's rope!" Ellie said perkily, stepping between us. "Why don't you tie her up?"
"I'm sick of this," I muttered, as I snatched the rope from Ellie and roughly wrapped it around Jade's arms.
"Speak up or shut up," Viola spat, as she bent and hurriedly tied Jade's legs.
Jade went through Jade's pockets, relieving her of all potential weapons, and then I grabbed one of Jade's legs with my good arm, and pulled her into a side room, locking the door after I slammed it.
"Shane, you get the pistol." Viola said, as she slid the pistol into Shane's pocket.
"Lucy, bow and arrow. Ellie, switchblade. I have a pistol and Zander, I think you're covered."
I pulled out my switchblade, resentfully watching Viola- annoyed that, once again, she was making me want her.
Ferdinand ran up behind us, holding a bow and arrow, his face flushed red, his eyes flashing with anger.
"Where's she?" he asked.
"Who?"
"Jade..." Ferdinand said, glancing all around the hallway.
"In there. We knocked her out and locked her up." Ellie stated proudly.
"Good," he smiled.
"Yes, very good," I sneered. "Now let's get out of here."
"We can't go anywhere," Lucy stated.
"We can't stay here," I growled.
"We've got to," Shane stated.
"Yeah, 'cause that worked out wonderfully last time," I spat, holding my shoulder.
Lucy's eyes got wide. "You're shot!"
"Really?" I asked sarcastically. "I had no idea."
"W-what's going on?" I heard a weak voice.
I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself, as I looked at Lynn.
"Lynn! Are you alright?" Shane asked, his face the perfect picture of shock and relief, at the same time.
"Yeah, I'm fine," She lied.
"You're not, we've got to get you help," I stated firmly.
"We can't go out there!" Ellie exclaimed.
"Yeah, we've got to think about this-"
"No! I'm tired of this! We stand and we wait- and for what? For some other psycho-bitch to find us? To give someone else a better shot? No thanks!"
"Go on then!" Viola shouted.
I stomped away, towards the lobby.
"Zander!" Lynn shouted, rolling out of Shane's arms, stumbling, slumping against him as he caught her. "Don't do that."
I ignored her, and stormed into the clearing. I heard a gunshot, and another explosion of pain- this one more intense than the last. It had to have been a higher caliber, as it knocked me off my feet.
I fell flat on my back, groaning, my head pounding, my heart racing.
"u and rina are systematically watering down the grammar of yws" - Atticus "From the fish mother to the fish death god." - lehmanf "A fish stole my identity. I blame shady" - Omni [they/he]
As Zander walked away, I turned back to Shane. "Oh my god, Your arm!" I practically screamed, staring at the blood that was making me dizzy. "Shush, Lynn. It's nothing. Please, sit down you--you're not well!" I ignored him and knelt beside him. "Why has no one bothered to fix this?" "We've been kind of busy not getting killed." grumbled one of the silent individuals standing around us. I glared up at her. "We need to bandage it with something until we can get him to the hospital." I spat. Everyone looked at me. "What?" "You're the only one wearing a jacket." said the same girl that had been a smart mouth. What was her name? And then it registered. She wanted me to give up my sweatshirt. Shane's sweatshirt. "I'm--I'm not taking this off!" I gasped, gripping at the fabric and trying to blink back the ridiculous tears that pricked my eyelids. "Lynn..." Shane whispered, his hand reaching for mine. "I'm not!" I whimpered, curling up beside Shane, my face buried in my neck. "I won't!"
Really! I mean, now Zander and I were arguing in front of everybody which wasn't working! I looked at him angry, but inside of me, I was panicking. He was bleeding. I had to help. Somehow.
When we were all done tying Jade, I stuck a tape against her mouth. I should have killed her! That gun was in my hands when again, Zander stopped me. He's not allowing me to kill anyone!
I see Lynn wake up, and I smile. Now, that was amusing. Thank god, everyone was safe. I saw Zander storm off and I frowned. Why is he doing so much drama. Then, I had a gun explosion, and that it had hit straight to Zander, that he blew off from his spot.
"Zander!" I screamed.
I ran to him, and knelt to my knees, my hands on his body, covered with blood. I started to sob. I realized I can never stay away from him. Ever. I was beside him.
"Viola, go.." he said, in agony.
"No! You're dying. I need to get you to the hospital!" I squeaked, my voice weak.
"Don't try..." he said, and stopped to take a breath. "to save me, Viola. Just go!"
"No! Please Zander, stay strong."
His face was in pain and he got on to his arm, and tumbled over to the other side. I dragged him back. I had to say something. I needed to help him.
"Zander, I realized I can't go a minute without you. I really can't!" I said, crying. I saw Shane on the other side, Lynn curling up to him.
I rested my head upon him. Either we die together or live together. I can't bear to leave him.
"Viola," he said, patting my head. "You need to be safe."
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.
Zander just made the dumbest idea of his life. Walking out on us and getting shot. I won't say 'told you so' because this really was a bad time for that. I was worried that he could die. It's not fair to any of us. We did nothing.
"Viola," I walked up to her.
She pulled Zander back to us and knelt down next to him. Tears were bursting from her eyes. I can beat he can only pray to be able to survive. There's no hospital in sight.
"Zander needs help. Get help Lucy!" she begged.
I knelt down next to her, patting her head. Zander was still awake at least. His eyes were shutting though, every few seconds. I just hope that shooter won't come here. One injured person was enough.
"Shane," I called out. "You watch the exit, right there." I pointed behind me. "Make sure that shooter doesn't come near. And if you see even one piece of fabric, you shoot it. Make sure he or she is dead."
Lynn was not apporving of this. She just clutched onto his arm so he wouldn't move an inch.
"No! He could get killed! He could end up like Zander! Please no Lucy!" she begged, tears running down her face.
It hurt. I know how she felt. He was my friend and I didn't want him ti be in the line of fire. But he was the best shooter in the group at this moment. Viola is sobbing and Zander is injured, it was Shane's turn now.
He was scared, yes. His eyes were wide and he tried to swallow down his fear. I could hear his heart beating from here.
"Lynn," he turned to her. They started to have a conversation so I turned to Viola.
She was still sobbing and Zander, thankfully was still breathing.
"We need to find a pharmacy here." I whispered. "There has to be one, I mean it's a hotel! They need some source of medication."
Shane Delowski
"Lynn," I turned to her. She was crying.
"Please Shane, don't." she was whispering. She couldn't even talk loud enough anymore, the tears were clogging her throat.
Shutting my eyes, I took a deep breath. I opened them and held Lynn's hands. She was shivering and ice cold.
"Like Lucy said, I'm the best shooter. I need to save us."
"What if you die?!" tears ran even more.
I didn't want to. Believe me when I say this. My heart hurt so bad, I just wanted to run away with Lynn and pretend this never happened. But I care about these guys too. I had to save them.
"What if I die. You have to understand this is for good. Everything will be okay. You'll have to move on,"
She was shaking her head violently as she pulled her hands away form mine. "No! I don't want to move on! I just got you. I don't want to lose you!" she begged.
Jesus Christ. This is not making it any easier.
"Everything will be okay!" I grabbed her hands to make her stop shaking. "I promise, I'll try not to die. I want more than anything to be with you."
"Then don't do this!"
"I have to! Lynn," I kissed her soft forehead. "I love you,"
"If I look like a monster,' he says roughly, 'then no one will be surprised when I do monstrous things." - A.B. Poranek
I swallowed what was left of my jealousy and knelt next to Zander. "Viola," I said, shaking her gently. "Move. I can help, but you have to move."
Viola shuffled back a little, revealing a bad bullet wound just below Zander's shoulder. I tore the cuff off one of my sleeves and pressed it against the wound, but it was soaked quickly. Muttering under my breath, I tore another strip of fabric off my sleeve and wrapped it around Zander's arm, just above the bullet wound. I tied it in a knot, and then slipped one crossbow bolt under it. "Zander," I said, speaking loudly to get his attention. "This is going to cut off circulation to your arm, but it'll keep you from bleeding to death." I grabbed the crossbow bolt and twisted it in a circle a few times, tightening the strip of fabric around Zander's arm like a blood pressure cuff.
Soon after Ferdinand helped Zander, we started to argue again.
"Let's go somewhere. We have to hide." I said.
"We can't go out and we can't stay in." Ellie added.
"With Zander injured and Lynn was sedated... we can't really go anywhere." Ferdinand contemplated.
I took a look around the premises. Nothing but a basement that could represent a dungeon. There were secrets about this hotel, and now we were part of it. I guess the silence was pretty strong about keeping it.
"My boat," Shane's face brightened.
"What about it?" Lynn asked weakly.
"It's just outside the hotel on the dock. We should go there."
"In risk of getting killed? No thank you." Viola said, rolling her eyes.
"What else can we do?! We are not staying in here. No way on hell." Shane bowed down his weapon.
His was standing guard at the stairs of the basement. They weren't really visible since the lamp burned out.
Thumping came from the locked room that we threw Jade into. They were strong hits at the steel door.
"She's up," Shane said.
"Well aren't you bright?" Zander replied.
Yeah, Shane was a slow one.
