Zander Foster

My mouth was dry, my tongue heavy, blood pulsed through my temples. I fought the impulse to hold my head, and bit back a groan.

"Jade, we need her alive!" I heard the same voice hiss.

Need who alive? I wondered, a sinking feeling in my stomach.

"I don't even know why Boss needs her! Look at her! Filthy, good for nothing!" Jade groaned.

Rage filled me at that witch's voice.

"Yeah, but she's a diamond." The voice from the boat said. "And such silky hair. Such lovely fragrance. No wonder the farm boy's after her. Anyone would be."

Oh shit. Does he have-

I heard Viola sigh. A small, tender breath of air that belonged to her, I was sure.

"I'm sorry for your love. But if you join us, you can find way better people than him."

"In your dreams, bitch." Viola spat.

I furrowed my brow and opened my eyes. The bastard sat at the far end of the boat, far too near Viola to suit me.

"You bastard."

"Ah, Snow White has finally roused himself."

"You said that you'd turn her loose if I came with you."

"Eh, I lied," he said flippantly, as he stood and approached me.

"You bastard," Jade spat, as she stormed towards me.

"What did he do?" the guy asked.

"He's the bastard who let them do this to me," Jade spat as she kicked me, hard, in the stomach.

I groaned and tried to roll onto my face, to protect myself. I won't hit the girl.

"Zander!" Viola screamed.

"I'm fine," I lied.

"You won't be!" Jade screeched, as she clawed at my face.

"Jade, Jade, honey, dear," the guy said, as he pulled Jade off of me. My eye was blurred by my blood, which was oozing out of a cut on my forehead.

"What?" she screamed.

"Honey, don't kick the douche bag while he's down."

"He-"

The guy pulled me up into a sitting position, and held me upright. "Here, let me help you."

She smirked cruelly, and lifted her foot, bringing it down on my chest. I groaned through grit teeth, cutting it off half way through when I saw Viola sobbing. I clenched my teeth. They would not hurt Viola, through me.

Jade beat the snot out of me, but wasn't satisfied with so much as one more groan. After a while they got tired of tormenting me, and tossed me back onto the deck. Viola was still sobbing.

"Now, Farm Boy," the bastard said. "You said that you're worth money?"

"Not in this condition," I grumbled, as I struggled to sit up without the use of my arms, and spat out a mouthful of blood.

"Quit whining and give me an address."

"I...I don't have one."

"Bullshit."

"My father has so many vacation homes, it's hard to keep them straight."

"That's nice," the bastard sneered. "Give me an address."

"I don't-"

"Give me an address or I'll blow your brains out!" He shouted, as he pressed his gun barrel against my head.

My heart fluttered, but I set my jaw. "You won't shoot me."

"No?"

"No- you don't get any money if you shoot me."

"Good point...I'll shoot her." The bastard whirled around and pressed his gun against Viola's head.

My breath caught. "Fine!" I shouted. "I don't have an address-" he cocked the gun. "But I'll give you a phone number! I swear to god I don't have the address or I'd give it to you!"

"Shoot." The bastard said cruelly.

I gave him the number to my father's cell phone.

They took Viola and Zander--and we had let them.

I shook my head, growling to myself. Don't think like that, I berated myself. They had guns. If they wanted to kill Viola and Zander, they would have done it right away.

I took a deep, shaky breath. We had to get them back. I slung my bow over my shoulder and turned to the others.

"Shane?" I said. "How fast does your boat go?"

Why did Zander have to wake up, now? He's gone through so much for me and he was being beaten up. Jade, that bitch. If I ever get my hands on her, I'm going to kill her. I don't care if I become a murderer but I won't let her live. I swear to my life.

I sobbed as they kept beating them up.

No, please. Leave him alone.

I hung my head wanting to do something but I was already weak and there were people looking at me. I wanted to scream so badly that he wasn't the one who should be giving money, it should be me. I have to tell him. I just have to.

"Shoot." he blonde-haired guy said.

Zander gave in his father's cell number but they weren't listening. Anytime now, they would shoot. Someone was saving the number but I decided to speak up.

"DON'T DO IT!" I yelled to him.

He looked back at me with his pretending innocent green eyes, and grinned. He walked to me again and shook his head. He put his pistol above my forehead.

"I have to tell you something before you shoot." I told him in a small voice.

He laughed and Jade chuckled. She put a hand on his shoulder and moved him back. "Like you asked me today evening, any last few words?"

"Its me you're supposed to be kidnapping, not him! I'm the rich one! My dad is one of the millionaires in my country! Take me for him! Just don't do anything!" I pleaded.

"Viola!" Zander yelled at me. "You're not to do this!"

"Oh, look what we've got here. Disgusting love. We knew that, barbie. That's why we kept you and almost killed him. We're not stupid as you think." Jade said.

The blonde-haired guy smirked and he took out a lighter, and lit his cigarette. He blew smoke and sighed, closing his eyes and then opening it.

"Honey, we searched all your details and we found out you're the richest among them all. No wonder Farm Boy wants you. Turn rich." he said.

"What about you guys? You're more pathetic! Instead of turning on to be someone who actually has a life, is kidnapping the rich one! Wow, how awesome. Pretty scared, aren't you?" I snapped back at him and turned to me, again with his pistol on Zander forehead.

"Now, talk." he said, curling his lips.

I didn't want any more harm to Zander so, I just shut up. We were reaching a black building. We were almost at their hideout. Jade was going through my jean pockets and shirt pockets. I kept wriggling but she slapped me sometimes.

"Stay still, you fool!" she exclaimed.

She found my wallet and held it up. "Oh, what have we got here? A wallet."

OKay, since Jake is dead (sad) just delete him from any parts.

Shane Delowski

I didn't know how to answer his question. I never drove this thing. But I do remember making my driving slam the pedal and we sped very nicely.

"I'm not sure, but I know it can go fast."

With a smile, he ran to the console and started the boat up, going in the same direction as those kidnappers.

"Are you sure that's safe?" Lynn asked.

"We have to save them!" Ferdinand said in return, concentrating on the water.

"He knows what he's doing," I reassured her.

I hope.

"I'll grab my weapons!" I remembered.

"You carry weapons on a boat?" Ellie asked, astonished.

"Now why wouldn't I?"

I ran down stairs and looked for my closet. There's a safe in there that hold all the weapons I needed to protect myself with. If a gun didn't work, got a knife. If a knife failed, got a bow and arrow. All you need in one tiny room.

Lucy Harold

I watched Ferdinand grip onto the wheel and feel the boat. You have to feel a vehicle before driving it so you won't crash and burn. In our case, crash and drown.

Shane ran down stairs to grab some weapons which he shockingly has on a boat. I walked up to Ferdinand and watched the water beat right under us. We were speeding, trying to reach those horrible creatures. I don;t consider them humane for what they have done. I saw Jade on that boat. I can't believe she's alive.

"How are we going to save them? We get there, have weapons, and what? They could shoot us down in a second like what they did with Viola and Zander!" I said.

"I don't know what we're going to do." Ferdinand looked at me for only a second. "I just want to get there first. I just want to save them."

"Without a plan?" I took a breath. "On a limb?!"

"Don't do it!" Viola screamed.

I looked at her through narrowed eyes and finished the number. The guy cockily strode across the deck and stopped in front of Viola, placing the barrel of his pistol on her forehead. My breath caught.

"I have something to tell you before you shoot." Viola squeaked, terrified.

He and Jade laughed, and Jade pushed the guy back gently, flirtly, and then turned towards Viola cruelly. "Like you asked me just this evening, any last words?"

"It's me you're supposed to be kidnapping, not him! I'm the rich one! My dad is one of the millionaires in my country! Take me for him! Just don't do anything!" Viola begged.

"Viola!" I snapped, rage making my body shake. "You're not going to do this!"

"Oh, look what we've got here. Disgusting love. We knew that, Barbie. That's why we kept you and almost killed him. We're not stupid as you think." Jade sneered.

The guy pulled a cigarette out and lit it, took a draw, and blew the smoke into my face.

"Honey, we searched all your details and we found out you're the richest among them all. No wonder Farm Boy wants you. Turn rich." The guy said, as he fixed his eyes one Viola.

A fresh wave of rage ran through me. I was not using Viola.

"What about you guys? You're more pathetic! Instead of turning on to be someone who actually has a life, is kidnapping the rich one! Wow, how awesome. Pretty scared, aren't you?" Viola spat angrily.

The guy glared at Viola and pressed his gun into my forehead. It seems like when he's mad at me, he waves the gun at Viola- and when he's mad at her, I find the barrel against my head.

"Now, talk." The guy sneered.

I swallowed hard. "About what?"

"Where do you live, Farm Boy?"

"West Virginia, and you?"

He scoffed.

"Well, what's your name?" I swallowed my pride.

"What's it to ya?"

"Not much."

He glared at me. "...Kev."

"That's cool, I've always liked that name. It's a good, strong name."

He narrowed his eyes. "Yeah."

"What are you going to do?"

"When?" Kev asked, as he sat down on the edge of the boat.

"When you get the money from Dad. You gonna buy a house, settle down?"

I've got to talk my way out of this.

Kev sighed. "I don't know. Probably."

"Get married?" I suggested.

He glanced at Jade and blushed. "I don't know."

"She's pretty," I said, as I glanced at Jade. It was the best compliment I could muster, as I watched her slapping Viola- the only truly attractive person on the entire boat.

"Yes," Kev agreed, as he propped his feet up and shoved his pistol into the top of his jeans.

"You want kids?" I asked.

"Nah."

"No? I think...you'd make a good Dad," I lied, nearly choking on the words.

"You think?"

"Yeah."

"Hmm..."

I swallowed and closed my eyes, trying to ignore the pain in my chest.

"How about you, Farm Boy?"

"What about me?"

"What are you going to do?"

I was disgusted at how excited the question made me- since he was implying that I would, in fact, live.

"I don't know...probably go home."

"You gonna settle down?"

"Nah, I ain't ready for that yet."

"But you do have your eyes on a woman?"

I nodded. He knew I did.

"She's pretty, too."

I nodded again. "Were you serious? Does her Dad really have more money than mine?"

"Nah, I just wanted to shut her up. He's got enough for a ransom, but...not sure it was worth the kidnapping."

"You could turn her loose."

"Oh, what have we got here? A wallet." Jade said, smirking, as he held the wallet up for Kev to see.

"Toss it here, Babe."

Jade threw him the wallet, and he glanced at me, and then back at Jade. "Keep looking, will ya?"

She nodded and resumed her search of Viola's pockets. Kev casually opened the wallet and peered inside.

"I can't turn her loose, not now."

"Yes you can," I encouraged. "Have someone escort her to a frequented bay- she can get home, and no one will believe her if she tries to squeal."

"Nothing," Kev growled, as he pitched the wallet across the boat.

"Come on man, just let her go. She's not worth that much."

"I never said that."

"But-"

"Shut up...and get up." He pulled me to my feet as the boat came to a stop, and pushed me onto the shore.

Jade tossed the wallet over to the blonde-haired guy and he said to keep looking. I just wished she would stop slapping me. I saw that guy throw my wallet across the boat.

What? No! My identity's in that!

"Hey, tell him to get my wallet back!" I told Jade.

"Too late." she said, grinning. "Don't you carry any Swiss Knife or something? Its got to be here somewhere!"

"Oh, for god sake! You've searched me enough!" I said, kicking her and this time, she felt.

She got up and pushed me back almost making me fall off the boat and some other guy got me. She put one leg on the seat and looked down at me. I smiled, weakly.

"Don't mess with me. You get it?" she said, squinting her eyes.

I twisted my head to see Zander. He was talking to the blonde-haired guy. Apparently, Jade got the wrong idea. She grabbed my face and looked upon me with her stern light blue eyes.

"Looking at Kev, huh? Well, let's get this straight. Don't even think about it because he's mine." she spoke in a low voice.

"I wasn't looking at him. I wanted to see-" she cut me off.

"His hair? His eyes? When I say don't, I really mean it." she said, and let go off me.

She picked me up by the shirt and I saw Zander being picked up by Kev. We both looked at each other but didn't dare say a word. We reached the gates and we entered the building. The heals of our shoes clicked through the marble floor, as the lights flickered on. Kev was behind me and beside Jade making Zander beside me.

"Where do we put them?" Jade asks Kev.

"Just put them here." one of the guys suggested but Kev shook his head, and took of the cigarette, and blew smoke on my face. I coughed and swished the air.

"Not there, you fool. Not in the same dungeon. We need them for questioning. We'll take the girl first. What was her name again?" Kev asked Jade.

"Viola." she smirked. "Come on! Get a move on it!" she said, pushing me to the front.

"What're you going to do with her?" Zander asked Kev.

"Oh, you know... Just questioning." Kev grinned and they pushed Zander in to the room, unlocking the doors.

"Somebody keep a guard on him. Dylan. You're up." Jade said, and lead the way with me followed by.

"Awesome." he says and he takes up the post.

We keep walking with the other men and then enter a small room. They tie my hands and legs again and make me sit against the wall. My thoughts are full of Zander. Anything can happen to him. They might hurt him.

"So..." Jade says to Kev. "Shall we start?"

She takes out a knife which is as sharp as anything. Kev nods but then stops her. He looks at Viola and knelled down to me.

"If you don't want to get yourself killed, do this. The truth. Say the truth." he says getting up and coming closer to Jade.

He pulls her close with his hands around his waist. I roll my eyes. I see them kissing and they pull away. Kev motions Jade's hair and then, they turn to me.

"Do a good job." he whispers to Jade and she nods.

He waits at a corner and Jade come to me telling me to stand. I do as she says so.

"Now, barbie. What business do you have in New York?" she asks me.

"I don't do anything. I'm a designer." I say, trembling.

"Designer." she chuckles and just then, two men come in carrying a device.

"We found this in her bag." one of them said and Jade's eyes widened.

She takes it and examines it. She looks at me and comes closer to me, breathing on me.

"Where did you find this?!" she threatens me.

"I found it lying between the bushes." I stammered.

That device. Its something that has something to with unlocking passwords and that controls all the computers. But I've never worked it.

"YOU LIAR!" Jade said, banging me to the wall. "Get out! All of you! I'm going to have to talk to her. Girl-to-girl!"

"Where do we put them?" Jade asked, as Kev pushed me through a small doorway, into a dark, dank room. Kev flipped a light switch- the lights flickered, threatening to go out, and then bathing us in a dim, yellow light.

"Just put them here," one of the guys said.

Kev shook his head and pulled the cigarette out of his mouth, blowing smoke into Viola's face. She turned her head away, half-closing her eyes. I desperately wanted to hold her hand, to reassure her, but my arms were still tied up.

It's a good thing, too, or I'd kill them all- single handedly. I sighed, knowing that I didn't stand a chance.

"Not there, you fool. Not in the same dungeon. We need them for questioning...We'll take the girl first. What was her name again?" Kev said, as he waved his right hand, gesturing in all directions.

"Viola." Jade smirked. "Come on! Get a move on it!"

"What're you going to do with her?" I demanded, as I whirled around to face Kev, losing the little patience I did have.

"Oh, you know... Just questioning." Kev said viciously, as he shoved me into cell. I tripped over the cracked concrete, falling flat on my back, hard, smacking my head against the cold stone.

I muttered unkind opinions to myself as I struggled to my feet.

"Somebody keep a guard on him. Dylan. You're up." Jade said.

"Awesome." The boy said, as he smirked.

I slammed my weight against the door. "Let me out of here!" I snarled.

Dylan ignored me, as he watched the rest of the thugs lead my Viola down a hallway, and then out of sight. I slammed my shoulder into the wall, because I couldn't get my fist up to do it- I instantly regretted the decision, and had to struggle to keep from whimpering.

"You can't get out," Dylan sneered, as he leaned towards me. "And even if you do manage it, you'll die before you set foot outside of those doors."

"Let me out."

"Lemme think...um...no."

"Let me out, and...I'll give you a hundred dollars." I said gently, enticing him with the all mighty dollar.

"No."

"Let me out, or I'll kill you!" I snarled.

He laughed and reached his hand through the bars, punching me through the grate at my shoulder and head level, making me stagger backwards cursing, and fall over once more. I lay on the ground, my wounds throbbing, the pain nearly blinding me- I lay spitting out curses so perverse that even Nevil hadn't heard them.

I lay for a long time, my eyes opening and closing, before I pushed myself into a sitting position, and looked at myself. My entire torso was wrapped in thick, braided rope- my blood was starting to soak through, near the top of the rope.

I pushed against the rope, trying to break it, but soon groaned and fell against the wall limply. I sat panting for several long moments, my brow covered in sweat, and reconsidered my escape.

I tugged on the rope, and began squirming my way out, for the first time in my life, glad that I had cousins who had tied me up hundreds of times in our childhood. One of the perks of being a runt, I guess.

I soon freed myself, and grabbed for my switchblade- it was gone. Of course.

I felt all of my pockets- I was left with nothing but my Copenhagen. No knife, no money-nothing but tobacco, which I carried more for my image than anything else. I didn't chew.

I sighed. I'm going to have to do this the hard way.

I quickly undid the knots in the rope, and then folded the rope back and forth, a bit wider than shoulder width, and laid down. I tucked the ends around my sides, and looked at the rope- which looked like it was still tied around me. I smirked and looked at the ceiling. Time to wait.

No sooner than I had thought that, the door to my cell shook. I quickly closed my eyes.

A few minutes later, I heard footsteps in my cell, and barely cracked my eyes open.

"...Zander?" Kev asked.

I moaned, a forlorn, weak grunt.

"Zander, get up."

My eyes flickered open, and I looked at him weakly.

"What happened?"

"I don't know...I just got...weak," I breathed. "Light headed."

He was squatting beside me. "Get up." He grabbed the rope and pulled- it came lose.

Before he had a chance to process that I wasn't tied up, I sprung, bringing my Redwing around, kicking the side of his head, knocking him over. I leapt onto him and slammed my forearm into his wrist, as I wrench his pistol away with my other hand.

"Zander, no!" He said, as he threw his arms up weakly.

"You should've let her go." I growled, as I squeezed off a round into his head.

I felt his pockets, decidedly ignoring the wound, and the puddle of blood forming. I snatched my wallet and switchblade.

"Kev!" Dylan called.

He was in front of the door. Unthinking, I fired another round. I leapt to my feet, pocketing my possessions, and starting out the door- not allowing myself a moment to think about what I had done. I couldn't think, I couldn't feel- only look for Viola.

I kicked several doors in and shot several more guards, relieving them of thier weapons, tucking them in my belt, before I finally burst through the door that Viola was in.

I couldn't see much about the room, or her state, but I hurtled a gun towards her, butt-first. "Catch!"

For a moment, Kev looked at Jane with his worried eyes. "But why?" he asked.

Jade walked up to him, and whispered something. I saw Kev smirking, and lied there, too weak to even get up. She had kicked me so bad, I couldn't move an inch. I looked upon them, feeling pity for myself.

A few minutes later, Jade came instructed everyone to go out and closed the door, with the lights off. She carried something that showed a small spark of light and waved it on my face. I couldn't see anything, just her breathing on my face. She undid my hands and stretched one of it to the right, and took her Swiss Knife out.

"You lie a lot, don't you?" she said, the knife just a centimeter away from my eyes.

"Please... I-I'm not lying!" I spoke.

"Why? Why is it that you're so annoying? Tell me the truth, barbie!" she said, banging my head to the ground. "Or the next you'll find is your funeral!"

"I swear upon the god's above!" I yelled.

She couldn't take it anymore and I saw the knife cutting through the skin beside my ears. I screamed in pain, kicking and trying to push her away but I couldn't. I never knew I was so weak. Flashbacks flashed through my mind.

"Liar..." I heard her saying, but half the time, I was in pain.

Then, she pinned my hand to the ground, slowly severing my skin. She just wanted to see me in a throbbing state. I saw her grinning, and enjoying doing it while I continued to scream, more than ever.

"NO! PLEASE, PLEASE!" I yelled, kicking her. I saw her write "V" on my hand with the knife.

Just then, the doors banged open. I recognized a familiar voice. It told me, "Catch!"

A gun came sliding towards me. With the advantage of my other hand being free, I grabbed it and pointed towards Jade who felt back. I got up, my hand bleeding, as the tears trickled down from my eyes as I felt my hand, sore. I caught a hold of it.

"Who let him in?!" Jade screamed through the room.

"Game's over, Jade." I told her. "Zander! The lights!"

I heard his feet scurrying across the room for the lights. A moment later, they flickered on and I saw Zander just a meter away from me. I pointed at Jade, who got up, brave.

"You think a little gun can scare me? You might have scared the shit out of the guards but let's see if that little thing of your's even works!" she spoke, her lips curling.

I shot a bullet into the air and that was enough proof for her that she would die if she made any more movement. I came closer to her but Zander got my arm.

"How many times do I have to remind you not to do it?" he asked me.

Oh, right. The killing.

"Look what she's did to me!" I said, hurrying to kill her off but he got my waist and stopped me. I kicked to make him let me go off me.

"Darn it, Viola! I can't catch you too tight so you got to stop wriggling!" he told me.

I stopped and let me go. Jade yawned. I pointed it towards her, but she already knew that I wasn't going to shoot.

"Fine. Go ahead." Jade said, but I saw her taking off her pistol off the belt.

Jade was too slow for Zander. He punched her so hard, and kicked her, just like the one he put in force in the Hotel. He took the pistol from her hand and moved back, standing next to me.

Jade struggled to get up but she managed to do it. Just then, she looked up at the ceilings which now had a hole when I shot it. She smirked and before I knew it, she took out a grappling hook launcher, shot it towards the hole as it grew big.

"Too late, too little!" she said, and she swung into the air, and saw her disappear.

"Come on!" Zander said, determined as he took my hand and ran out, before we got any of us killed.

Warning: I have absolutely no direction in mind for this SB, so I'm just going to keep adding random catastrophes until someone else takes initiative.

Zander Foster

"Who let him in?" Jade shrieked.

"Game's over, Jade. Zander! The lights!" Viola screamed.

I leapt across the room, and flipped the lights on. Viola was beside me, Jade was across the room. Viola pointed the gun at Jade.

"You think a little gun can scare me? You might have scared the shit out of the guards, but let's see if that little thing of yours even works!" She sneered.

Oh shoot...I wonder if it does work.

Viola fired into the air. I ducked as plaster from the ceiling fell onto us. I caught Viola's arm as she started towards Jade.

"How many times do I have to remind you not to do it?" I growled. I don't think I can tell you many more times, before I'll lose my resolve.

"Look what she did to me!" Viola shouted, kicking and elbowing me.

"Darn it, Viola! I can't catch you too tight so you got to stop wriggling!" I growled.

Viola stopped fighting, and I pratically dropped her. Jade yawned as Viola pointed the gun at her.

"Fine. Go ahead." Jade said nonchalantly, as she went for the gun in her belt.

"You little bitch," I spat, as I leapt towards her. I drew my fist back and punched her so hard she fell backwards. I kicked her side as she fell, just for good measure. She yelped and crumpled to the floor. I jerked the pistol from her hand, and staggered over to Viola.

Jade pulled a second gun from nowhere. I grabbed Viola and whirled around, trying to protect her- she peeked over my shoulder. I heard the impact of something, and whirled around just in time to see Jade disappearing through the ceiling.

"Too little, too late!" Jade sneered.

I cursed.

"Come on!" I growled, as I grabbed Viola's hand and yanked her towards the door.

"Ow!" She said, as she tried to yank her hand away from me.

I made a show of dropping her hand, as I whirled around on her.

"You don't have to be so mean."

"No? Why shouldn't I? If you had just swam, like I f...." I took a deep breath, calming myself. Can't say that in front of a lady... "Like I told you, then you'd be safe, and this wouldn't have happened!"

"No?"

"No! You're the one who won't listen to a damn word I say, and you're the one who just ripped my wounds open! You can't just cooperate!"

She started to cry, which made me feel like a mega-jerk.

"I'm sorry," she said, as she touched my blood soaked shirt.

I took a deep breath and sighed deeply, "Whatever, let's go."

"Where are we going?" she asked gently, as I kicked through a back door, and we found ourselves staring at a forest.

I checked the ammunition in the pistols."Out."

"You mean...into the woods."

"That's exactly what I mean," I answered shortly, as I threw all but two of my guns onto the ground, placing all of thier clips into my deep pockets.

"We can't go out there! There are...bears, and...wolves...and...tigers."

I put a hand to my forehead and sighed. "There's no tigers in this part of the world- no wolves either. The most we'll deal with are coyotes, and we might see a bear."

"We can't go out there!" she squeaked.

I had never been good at reassuring people.

"Fine! You can stay! Just wait until Kev's boss shows up. I'm sure he'll welcome you."

I stomped into the twilight.

"What's your problem?" Viola demanded, as she trotted after us.

"I'm hungry!" I shouted. "I'm hungry, and I'm tired, and my feet are wet, and...and..."

"And what?"

"And I'm in love with a bullheaded, idiotic girl who won't listen!" I shouted, as I whirled around.

I WILL WRITE! SORRY I DID NOT

Ferdinand was driving this thing as if his life depended on it. It was crazy as we jumped over waves, water splashed on us and even Shane threw up.

I saw an island on approach with those jet skies around it. Perfect. It was large with a massive building smack in the middle of the place. Trees were lining the island though so all you saw was where the helicopter stood on top of it.

"There it is!" Lynn said.

I think Shane is rubbing off on her.

Ignoring that comment, Ferdinand pulled the boat into a stop. He turned and faced me and Ellie.

"We need to get in somehow,"

"I have an idea..." I said.

Just twenty minutes later, we were at the back of the building, look through a vent. It was about ten feet tall. It must be to suck in water to somewhere because there's a dam around the building to catch the water. So maybe they're evil recycler's?

Shane managed to pull off the cover of the vent with Ferdinand and we swooped into the huge grey building. It reeked of death through the ventilation. Not a good sign.

I've had enough! What's with him being so mean to me?! First, he grabs my hand where I almost blank off, second he almost swore upon me, third, he's screaming at saying he's hungry. Like I wasn't!

What's your problem?" I demanded, as I ran after him.

"I'm hungry!" Zander screamed. "I'm hungry, and I'm tired, and my feet are wet, and...and..."

"And what?" I asked him, my tone serious.

"And I'm in love with a bullheaded, idiotic girl who won't listen!" Zander shouted, as he whirled around.

My heart stopped for a second. Did I hear it right? I thought that just yesterday, he had said that we were too fast! What the hell is going on? There was an awkward silence, I wriggled my hand of his fingers. He looked down at them, and I looked back, tired.

I sighed, and narrowed my eyes. "I-I'm sorry." I said. That's all that came from my mouth.

Zander looked sat down next to me, and I stood up. He shook his head. "Is that all you have to say?" he looks at me.

"What do you want me to say?" I ask, walking a few meters away and picking up a few apples from the tree.

I strolled back, and lend him one. "Are you so stupid?!" he said, roaring at me. "I mean, I just said that I love you and you say sorry? I mean, wow! Really smooth!"

He stands up, and I move back a little, trembling. "Then, you say, what you need to say?" he moves closer to me, and I move back.

He grabs my hand. "Where are you going after what I did for you?"

"I'm going nowhere! You're scaring me!" I told him, but he shook his head again.

He pulled me close, and I felt his wounds. I cried on his strong body. I wanted to say sorry for everything. That I lead him to this. That he almost got himself killed because of me. I want to return him everything.

He takes hold of my face, and I hold them, looking down.

"You're really stupid sometimes, you know that?" he asks me, and I look back. I chuckle a little and he smiled down at me.

"I'm sorry for everything! I'm sorry, that I wasn't the girl you wished for! I'm sorry that I almost killed you! I'm sorry for a whole lot more things than I can imagine!" my voice squeaked.
