at one point in the story (early on) he becomes obsessed with this one room in the base, where all the walls are mirrors. It was supposed to be some sort of training room but now he sits in there, like, 5 inches from the mirror and just stares at his reflection, thinking ^^

He has no belly botton! ^u^ Normally, belly bottons are cute, but even the reverse is cute on him ^u^ and I love that when he realizes everyone else has one and he. . .uhh. . .I don't know if I should tell you guys ^^'' Might spoil it ^^''

Is basically a sequel to my current novel. Backstory: an evil demon jumps bodies to possess Tyrone guy. Tyrone guy gains incredible power but has to fight for control... Bladibladibla. Anyway, in the end he just wants to die, but he can't because he became immortal >.< Anyway, after some stuff happens he walks in a town called Amnesvill and uses all his new superwopwers to create a new parallell dimension containing a copy of the town... Anyhow, he himself dies and the demon is entrapped. The end of my current book.

So, then the book which I can not yet write begins. I yet have to plan much... But one woman enters the town and somehow gets transported into this 'prison'. It is like the town in the real world, but you can not leave it (you will just return back to the town if you try to leave) and the demon is in almost full controll... A long story, but it is MUCH more powerful now than when it was in Tyrone. Anyway, it will try to get out, while the woman, Jessic, will attempt to kill/escspe it... A few other people have also been trapped there, so she is not alone... Anyway, too many things to describe should happen, including her seeing the demon's mind... The demon would play with her sanity, and experiment, all in order to find a way to the real world... In the end it would be 'killed' again (it was a sorcerer when it was alive who was slaughtered), and that would be it, aside from a few things I do not care to mention...

(the demon will be reincarnated in the first novel I attempted to write, set in the future, in a human form and would bring the apocalypse... But that is another story.)

Anyway, I know that it sounds TERRIBLE, but it is only a plain description which I would have to write a novel about just to convey fully.... So... ^u^

So, ya know how I said he has no belly botton ya? (*giggles* sorry, it's as fun to type 'belly botton' as it is to say it ^u^) It happens kinda early on, a little after he starts spending time in the room-of-mirrors (as I mentioned above ^^). So, as we're going along in the story, Syn starts spending his time around Sarah and her other two friends (yet to be named ^^'' they all make a totally hilarious group ^^) and naturally, as the story is going along he develops this desire to be more human. (Well, he kinda is, but he isn't . . . It's complicated ^^'' . . . Kinda like Sai, he's trying to get a personality ^^ except it's not consious, ya know? ^^)

So, it starts when they go on a beach trip (or just to a pool, not sure, ya know? ^^'' not all details figured out ^^'') And Sarah and the other girl are in bikinis, and while the other guy there is like OuO *enjoying the view* Syn is just like '-' *doesn't get it* Anyway, he notices this little thing on everyone's belly (Haha, still funny to type ^u^) and there's a little akward conversation where they explain to him what they are and they're like ^^'' and he's like '-' (well, partially cause he's not good with facial expresions ^u^'') but it kinda sticks on his mind, cause it's another reminder that he's not human (but he kinda is, but he kinda isn't, still confussing ^^) it's another way he's not like them.

As to be expected, the entire book there are people at the base who just hate him and his existance, and they constantly jeer at him and stuf, and this time when he gets back to the base the words everyone says and the looks they throw at them start getting more and more uncomfortable with him. Trust me, it gets really bad. Until at one point where this one jack *ss (ohhh, I hate that character >~<'' ) says something like "You just aren't human" (with a smile on his face no less >~<'') or something that really hits the heart of the issue that just pushes Syn of the edge. Syn, unable to take it, kinda runs away (not off the base (he's not allowed off without supervision) but no one knows where he is ^^'' but OH! THE LOOK ON HIS FACE IS FREAKIN HEART BREAKING! Anywho;) Sarah and the other two try to go around looking for him, and eventually Sarah finds him.

He's in the mirror room, sitting in front of the mirror like he always does. Sarah is like 'Oh Thank God, we've been looking for you everywhere. ^^ ' She radios the other two where they are, so they can come help her help him feel better. But Syn doesn't even turn to look at her, like he usually does and she's like 'Syn? Are you ok? Trust me, don't listen to them, ok? You're human, just like me, like the other two (obviously she doesn't say 'the other two', but I still don't have their names yet ^^'')' and then she notices the knife. Syn's just staring at the mirror on his knees, a knife in hand.

At first, Sarah's just stunned. (i mean, it's kinda shocking, no? ^^'') Anyway, I'm pretty sure he says something (still not clear, but he does say something ^^'') he takes the knife and hold it away from his body, the edge facing himself. And Sarah's like 'Holy SH*t don't!!!' But he does. He stabs himself right where the belly botton would be. Then he finally turns to her, smiling. As some blood starts coming out the corner of his mouth, he says 'Just like you. Just. . . like. . .you' then he collapses ^^ Sarah runs over and starts trying to help him (you know, first-aid ^^) and a second later the other two come in and are like 'What the heck happened?!' And Sarah's like 'no time to explain! help me get him to the medic bay!'

A little later, in the medic bay, They're all gathered around Syn cause he's in one of the beds there. They're all like freaking out at him cause they scared the sh*t out of him. He's still alive cause they got him there in time and the doctors told them he stabbed himself where though he would lose quite a bit of blood, it wouldn't be life-threatening. Plus, with his body's faster rating of healing, he should be perfectly fine.

After a while of yelling at him for that, Sarah's like '*sai* just, don't do that again, k?' and he nods 'I won't'. They leave him, to let him rest and what not. Once they leave and he's alone in the room, he sits up and pulls up his shirt. He stares at the scar that was left (since he heals fast, it's already a scar ^^'') Right as the chapter ends, heslowly touches the scar (it's pretty big, about 3 inches tall, 2 inches wide and irregular in shape. There's also a small depression, and irregular scar tissue (as in it's not even)) and when he touches it, he smiles (that Sai kinda smile, with his eyes closed ^^) and he whispers 'just like you'.
