It takes place in the future, when technologies have advanced beyond our wildest dreams. There is a main city that is the picture of a happy utopian society. But it's far from utopian. There is a rebel force that is attacking the city; rebels who value freedom over the security of Big Brother. They despise the sheep-like lifestyle of the people of this city, and the unethical experiments of it's scientists. One particular trio of these sientists have even done the immpossible. They created a human being, DNA and all, from scratch. Compleatly Artificial and Synthetic. there was no human DNA to start with, he was even born from an artificial womb. Nothing natural about it's creation or life. Subject 7. It can speak, it can do arithmatic, it can even recite the history of the country. Expert problem solver, and in perfect physical condition. The story starts 14 years after it's birth. During the break in of the lab it's being kept in, the sleep pod 7's being kept in goes haywire. It climbs out, in a daze, wandering around the facility until he gets his way out side. He stumbles around a firefight between the rebels and the facility security, making to the other side with out being hit.. He gets taken by the rebels back to their base. There, they try to decide what to do with him. He's not all like "Where am I?" or "Who are you people?!" When they ask him who he is he just says 'Subject 7 of Project Genesis' with a total unemotional face. See, although they created this human being, he has no emotions. he has no thoughts of his own. And some believe, he has no soul. The rebels have no idea what the heck to do with him. He could prove a barganing chip, but what if he's a spy? What if they sent him here on purpose? Half want to just kill it on spot. But, obviously, after lots of argueing they keep him on the request of on little girl, Sarah (I think that's her name ^u^'' and she's 14) Her parents had recently died and they had done alot for the rebels, so she kinda has a special pass. Basically, through the whole series it's Syn's journey ('Syn' because he's synthetic, and has a double meaning cause alot believe it's a sin he's alive ^^), it goes deep into what it is to be human, we find out the real reason why he was made and the dark secrets behind it. ^u^ It's pretty sweet man ^u^
I am a Leaf on the Wind, Watch me Soar ~ Kyrie Eleison down the road that I must travel, Kyrie Eleison through darkness of the night
Hmm, might be interesting, although it does remind me of numerous movies with similar stories... But yes, just be careful Reminds me of Ultraviolet mostly...
