Personally, I find this thread tiring. I'm sure everyone else finds it that too. So WHY do we still continue?!

I remember when I was reading one REALLY good, sad YA book, and listening to a song at the same time. It wasn't exactly sad but the lyrics were so meaningful and fit with the plot of the story so perfectly, that I started crying.
And I understand how you feel about your book characters... I mean, they're practically your BABIES, after all...
