I shrug, "I just told you," I glare at Alyx.

I smirk at Vanessa and she glares at me, arms still crossed.

Jace

I run a hand through my hair, "What did he yell at you about, threaten you about?"

Telling her all the negatives of her future? That's low... Alyx...where did my brother go?

I sit back and take a deep breath, looking around.

Rayah

"He saw me talking to another guy and he thought I was gonna date him besides you. Yelled at me about it. Told me that if I did then it would hurt the both of us," I cross my arms, "He yelled at me about that and practically kicked me out of your house."

Jackie

I kiss his cheek again and close my eyes for a second.

Jace

I clench both my fists just as Alyx comes out of the car. Turning to him, I shake my head and tighten my jaw.

"You better not have done all of that," I mutter, "And you sure as hell better not have talked about any part of her future with her."

I smile at her and sigh.

Rayah

I look away, shaking my head, and cross one foot over the other.

Jackie

I look up at him, "Whucha wanna do?"

Jace

I take a step forward and a gust of light energy is thrown from me, sending Alyx across the car and rolling on the ground. I walk towards him and pin him down, making him look at me.

"What did you see?!" I demand, "What the hell did you do all that to her for?!"

I shrug and look back at her, "I'm up for lots of things."

Rayah

I swallow, not reconizing Jace in that moment, and run over to him, pulling him from Alyx, "Calm down, Jay," I whisper, "You don't need to hurt him."

Jackie

"What are those things?" I ask.

Jace

Rayah pulls me off my brother and I try to calm down, feeling sick to my stomach. Alyx stands and looks at me, confused and stunned.

"I can't tell you what I saw, Jay," he says, "It'll cripple you mentally. You already saw it. There's a reason you don't remember. Just... I'm sorry, alright? I shouldn't have yelled, but what I saw took over my common sense. You know how I get..."

I smirk, "You don't even want to know."

Rayah

I swallow again, "It's okay, Jay. J-Just don't hurt him."

I nudge him, "Tell me."

Jace

I turn to the side and double over, paying the price for doing what I did.

"He couldn't hurt me," Alyx says, staying where he is, "It goes against every fiber in his being to do that when it's not necessary. He's just worked up."

I smile and bite my lip, shaking my head.

Rayah

I nod, not knowing what to do, and crouch beside Jace, "You're okay. Calm down."

I sigh, "Tell me, Nic."

Jace

Rayah crouches at my side and comforts me. I close my eyes and take a deep breath, holding my stomach.

"I'm sorry, Jay," Alyx says, setting a hand on my shoulder, "I shouldn't have done what I did."

I shrug, "I really don't know. I was just being funny...or trying to."

Rayah

I glare at Alyx before looking back at Jace, "Deep breaths."

I smile and shake my head at him, "Okay then."

Jace

I swallow and wipe my mouth with my sleeve, opening my eyes to look at Rayah. I shrug Alyx's touch off and bring a hand to my head.

"Just leave me alone for a while," I tell him, "Take the stuff home. Ray and I'll find another way."

Rayah

I watch Alyx go before kissing Jace's cheek, "Do you want me to leave you alone, too?"
