I look down again, closing my eyes for a second, and take a deep breath.

I smile at her and nod, "That one it is then."

I watch her before kissing her cheek and closing my own eyes, whispering, "Do you love me, Jackie?"

I sigh, facepalming myself when I realize we didn't bring a car...

"How are we gonna get it home?"

I nod, still not opening my eyes, "Yeah. I do."

Jace

I shrug, "I could call Alyx and have him steal a truck."

I nod, glancing at him, "Do that then."

I think about it before nodding again, "Yeah. I do," I repeat.

I flash a smile and sigh, calling Alyx and telling him what we need him to do.

"What's in that future? What do you see?" I ask, setting my forehead against hers.

I chuckle at him and wonder off when he's not looking, to the girl section, looking for more clothes and stuff.

I still keep my eyes closed, "Family," I reply, "A succesful life."

Jace

I hang up and find Rayah gone. What the... I spin around, looking for her, and dash through aisles in search of her.

I flicker a smile, "Describe the family...the life."

Rayah

On the other side of the store, I smirk while looking through racks, yawning as I do.

I think, "A kid, a house...just like a regular family," I open one eye to look at him.

Jace

I stop in my tracks, knowing I'll regret it but multiplying and sending a clone in each direction. I stay where I am, leaning against the wall and closing my eyes, and wait for one of them to find her.

I look at her and kiss her cheek again, "Do you want that life?"

Rayah

I see Jace coming towards me and I wave, flashing a smile, before turning back to a rack. He grabs me by the arm and drags me somewhere, seeing another...Jace. I know I'm in trouble and swallow, "Hi."

I nod, "Very much so."

Jace

I open my eyes and make all multiples disappear besides the one holding her before me, crossing my arms.

"Tell me next time before you wander off," I flash a smile, "You freaking scared the hell out of me."

I study her, tilting my head to the side, "With me?"

Rayah

I swallow again, glancing up at the other Jace and elbow him in the stomach, making him let go of me. I roll my arm out from where he grabbed me and cross my arms, "Fine..."

I glare at my multiple and make him disappear, walking to Rayah and gently wrapping my fingers around where my clone grabbed her, "Did...it hurt you?"
