I take out my wallet and cover the rest, hoping Alyx is outside with the truck.

Jackie sits up and I tighten my grip around her in my sleep, burying my face in her neck.

Rayah

I gather the crib and Jace takes the clothes. I see Alyx outside with the truck and I smile, walking towards it and opening the trunk.

Jackie

He pulls me back down and buries his face in my neck. I flash a smile and let him, staying awake.

Jace

I take the clothes and Rayah takes the crib, though I believe it should be reversed. Alyx waits outside as Rayah opens the trunk. He takes the crib from her and loads it, taking the clothes and stuff too.

"Guess we're roommates now," he flashes a smile at her, "Not like... You know what I mean..."

I stir a little and find Jackie awake. Flashing a smile, I sit up a little and yawn.

"What time is it?" I ask, rubbing my eyes.

Rayah

I freeze when he says the first part, "You dare peek on me and I will kill you," I warn, a serious expression on my face, "I'm not kidding."

Jackie

I flash a smile, "Around eleven."

Jace

I flash a smile at them and take Rayah's hand, "He's not the one you have to worry about, Ray. Nic's the perv."

Alyx nods in agreement, pale, and heads back to the driver's seat.

Nic

"In the morning...or at night?" I ask, stretching my arms.

Rayah

I still don't like him...

I just shake my head and jump in the backseat, ignoring Alyx as much as possible, still mad at him from what happened a couple days ago at the beach.

Jackie

I watch him, "Night."

Jace

I sit next to Rayah in the back and can't help but notice the tension. What's wrong? They don't like each other? What happened to cause that?

Alyx glances back at me in the rear view mirror, "You don't have your telepathy anymore...But you picked something else up."

I nod, but choose not to say anything, not wanting to get stuck in between my brother and fiance if I said something the other didn't like too much. He says no more either, focusing back on the road with a confused expression. Shrugging it off, I look back at Rayah.

I nod and close my eyes for a moment, trying to remember what I'd dreamed about before.

Rayah

How the hell am I suppost to LIVE with Alyx? Oh my god this isn't going to end well...

I glance away from him, crossing my arms and looking out the window.

Jackie

I nod and kiss his cheek, "You alright?"

Jace

This is not how I wanted my brother to act around my fiance.

"Hey, I've got a fun game to play," I say with fake enthusiasm, "It's called telling me what the hell is up. Who's first?"

I smile and nod, looking at her, "I just had this awesome dream...seemed important, and I can't remember it at all..."

Rayah

I don't say anything, not making eye contact with either one of them. I try to block Alyx out of my head, answering the question in my head so only I could hear.

Oh, what the hell is up? Well, you're f*cking 'older' brother yelled at me before threatening me and then telling me my future isn't good...

I shake my head and keep looking out the window.

Jackie

I nod, "Well tell me when you remember."

Jace

I wait for either one to answer, watching Rayah shake her head and look out the window. Realizing that they wouldn't, I relax one of my fists and close my eyes, imagining the engine and then sending a beam of light in to burn out the vehicle for a few minutes. Once done, the truck comes to an abrupt halt and Alyx swears in Avalian. I open my eyes and glance at the two.

"You're going to tell me," I say, "And one of you is going to tell me. Right. Now. Or we're not leaving."

I nod and take a deep breath, "I will. I might have to ask my brother later though."

Rayah

I glare at him, "You guys can stay..." I open the door, "I'm leaving."

I grab my bag and start walking, crossing my arms as I do.

Jackie

I nod again, "Okay. Sure," I lean against him.

Jace

I curse under my breath and follow Rayah, darting in front of her and getting her to stop.

"Ray... I deserve to know what's wrong," I tell her, "If you won't tell me, then at least wait for me while Alyx does. You two are both my family. I don't want to be stuck in between two warring sides."

I kiss the top of her head and wrap my arms back around her.

Rayah

I think of what I should do, thinking if I tell Jace he'll probrably yell at Alyx...

"He yelled at me, then threatened me, then told me the negitives of my future," I just tell him, staying where I am.

I take a deep breath, wondering I'd I should let Vanessa in or something.

Jace

I blink a few times, looking back at Alyx before glancing at her again, "He...did...what?"

I glance out the window and find her sister still sitting there. Hope it doesn't rain...
