I nod, looking out onto the lake, "Yeah, I guess."

I smile, watching him, "White it is."

Jace

I watch her before turning to the ocean again, "Where I'm from doesn't exist anymore. I was six when it was destroyed...by the person who posed as my father all my life. That's when Alyx was killed, or supposedly. He died saving me."

I smile and pop the cork, pouring the wine and handing her the glass.

Rayah

I frown, kissing his cheek, "But he's alright," I twine my hand with his.

Jackie

I smile back and take a sip, "Thank you," I look at the food at take a bite, "Yeah. White wine goes best with it."

Jace

I flash a smile and look at her, kissing her cheek back, "I know."

I flash a smile and nod, taking a bite of food and a sip of the wine, "Definitely."

Rayah

I nod, resting my head on his shoulder, "Wait. Where did Jackie and Nic go?"

Jackie

We talk for a while, about our lives, futures and accomplishments. I once we finish our dinner, I keep smiling and take another sip of my wine, "This is nice."

Jace

I shrug with my free shoulder and kiss the top of her head, "I don't know. He couldn't have done anything bad though...so I think they're alright."

I smile, having enjoyed this night more than anything, and nod at what she says, committing every fact about her to memory.

"It is," I agree, finishing my glass of wine.

Rayah

I nod, sighing, "Okay. That's good."

Jackie

I finish my glass and hand it to him, "Should we head home? We can hang out at your place."

Jace

I nod and kiss the top of her head, taking a deep breath.

I pack everything up and nod, "By my place, do you mean Jace's? I don't live with him... I'm mortal."

Rayah

I cuddle into him and wrap my arms around his torso, "You're my Fiancè."

Jackie

I nod and stand as well, "Yeah. Sorry, forgot about that."

Jace

I smile and wrap my arms back around her, "And you're mine."

I flash a smile and shrug, "It's okay. Don't worry about it."

I leave the basket and everything and take her hand.

Rayah

I nod looking up at him, "I love you...so freaking much."

I smile and twine my fingers with his, leaning against him as we walk back to the portal. "Do we just jump back in?"

Jace

I smile and look down at her, remembering how I'd used those words when I proposed, "And I love you so freaking much."

I smile and nod, "Yeah, I asked my brother to keep it open, so anyone can go in and out."

I smile at him and keep my face against his chest, "I know."

I nod and jump in, ending up in Jace's house. I lean against the wall when there, in wait for Nic.

Jace

I smile back at her and kiss the top of her head, "Good."

I jump in after Jackie and find her leaning against the wall. Smiling, I take her hand and lead her to the couch, pulling her on my lap once I get there.

Rayah

I nod, flashing a smile, and look back out at the lake. "Yeah."

He takes my hand and pulls me to the couch and onto his lap once we get there. I chuckle at him and smile, "Well then."
