Jace

I walk downstairs and out the door, ignoring Nic and Jackie - who better not be doing anything more than making out on that couch any time soon.

Someone comes down the stairs but I don't open my eyes, focusing on the kiss of which Jackie slows slightly.

Rayah

We get to the Main Court and I swallow, walking through the doors, the twelve main gods staring at us. I take Jace's hand as my parents narrow their eyes at me. Jace's father looks at the floor, muttering something.

"How are you?" Zeus finally speaks up.

Jackie

I chuckle a little and wrap my arms around his neck, keeping my eyes closed.

Jace

I don't speak once we hit the Main Court, wondering what my father muttered more than what's going on elsewhere, and leave Rayah to answer Zeus's question.

Nic

I smile and pull her closer, eyes still closed.

Rayah

"We're good..." I reply, crossing my arms. Zeus sighs and stands, circling us. "I heard your pregnant, Rayah."

What the freak...?

I nod, shaking, and he comes up behind me, whispering in my ear, "Darling, I'm not going to hurt you. I'm going to help you," He touches my hair a bit before coming to our front.

He looks at Jace, "Hello, son," He nods, "I have a deal for you, Jace and Rayah, an offer."

Jackie

He pulls me even closer and I tighten my grip, turning the lights dim with my free hand.

Jace

Rayah shakes a little and I tighten my grip on her hand, not liking this at all. A deal?

"What kind of deal?" I ask.

Nic

She dims the lights and I flash a smile, pulling back a moment, "We gonna continue like this or should we get a room?"

Rayah

"A deal that involves you're..." He glances down at my stomach, "Children."

I swallow, "If you hurt them--" He covers my mouth.

"Shhh...Darling. I'm speaking," Zeus says, letting go and circling us again.

Weird...

"I'll speed up the pregnancy. If you give up something I've wanted," He turns to me, "I want some of you're power, Rayah. Lower you down from level eight fire to level five," He turns to Jace, "I want you're telepathy. Though I can't break the line you have to Rayah. That's merely impossible."

I eye my parents, hating how Zeus was treating me like I'm helpless and am his toy, and look at the floor, waiting for Jace's response.

Jackie

I smirk, "Whatever you want."

Jace

Rayah's power and my telepathy?

I glance at Rayah in the corner of my eye, wondering what she thinks.

How do you feel on this, Ray?

I smile and kiss her quickly, "You're the lady. You tell me what you want."

Rayah

I get his message and I glance back at him.

I'll still have my power. Half of it. You'll still have telepathy with me. It's a good deal. Don't you think?

Zeus looks at us, waiting, and I glance back up at him.

Jackie

I shrug, flashing a smile, "I'm up for anything."

Jace

I look back at Zeus and quickly sort through things, wondering if having less power would make Rayah less liable to overstressing herself.

"How far along would you speed the pregnancy?" I ask.

Nic

I study her before kissing her quickly, "Um...here or your place? This is my brother's house, mind you."

Rayah

"A week or so before delivery. She won't stress as much," He says, sighing, "So is the deal on?"

Jackie

I sigh, thinking, "My place? No one's home. My sister is at a friend's house for a weekend and my brother is with his wife."

Jace

I study him before nodding, looking at Rayah, "I want us to be married before delivery though."

I nod and stand, "Lead the way."

Rayah

He nods, "Of course. The wedding will be in a max of three days. You'll be married by then. Aphrodite has already got it planned."

My mom flashes a smile and I shake my head at her, "Okay. But if I look fat in my wedding dress..." I cross my arms.

He chuckles, "You'll look great. Doesn't matter. Would you like me to speed it now, or tommarow?"

Jackie

I take his hand, leading him across the street and into my house. Flashing a smile, I close the door behind us, "Here it is."

Jace

I think about this and look at Rayah. What do you want? Today or tomorrow?

She shuts the door behind us and I smile, kissing her.

Rayah

I think about it. If I do it today...the fitting will be right. Today.

I look at Zeus, "Today, please."

He nods and touches my arm. I could already feel my power drain from me and into him. He let's go and touches Jace's wrist, doing the same.

He looks at me, "Rayah, stay still and don't move,"

I nod and he puts his hand to my stomach, closing his eyes.

Growing, growing, growing....

I open my eyes and see my stomach looks...Huge.

He kisses me and I kiss him back, my mind going blank.

I feel a part of me missing and watch as Zeus causes Rayah's stomach to grow. When he's finished, she looks down and sees she's definitely nine months pregnant and looks it. I keep a hold of her hand, squeezing it in assurance, and flash a smile.

Our kids... We have days...a week or so until they're born. That's just hitting me...
