Nic

Jace comes to the door, "What?"

"Go, Jacks," I nod, shutting the door, "Call me later, alright?"

I turn back to Jace and pull him away from the door.

"Sit down and relax, Ja," I force him on the couch, "Jackie will handle things. Rayah's fine."

I'm just gonna do it as Jackie for now.

Jackie

What? No I can't! How the hell am I gonna do this?!

I just run to where she said she was, getting there to see her car...messed up. Swallowing, I freeze and don't know what to do. I pull the door from te car and pull her out. She collapses, covered in blood, and I crouch before her, making sure she didn't get hurt anywhere fatal.

Nic

I look at Alyx and he nods, handing me Riley and disappearing. I take a deep breath and set the girls down, looking at Jace.

"She'll be fine," I assure him.

Alyx

I show up on the scene and try my best not to gag at the sight. I crouch before the two of them and glance up at the car.

"Deep breaths, Rayah," I say, "Everything will be fine. Just stay calm. Help is coming."

Jackie

She moans but doesn't say anything. I wipe the blood from my arms and look at Alyx, "We need to get her to a hospital."

Alyx

I nod and hold out my hand, wrapping my fingers around Rayah's unharmed wrist, "Let's go then."

Jackie

"God..." I just scoop her up, not caring if I got all bloody, and start running, "Hurry!"

Alyx

What the frick....

"I was going to teleport! It'd be easier on her!" I shout, chasing after her.

Jackie

I stop, sighing, "Why didn't you just tell me that then before I got myself all bloody?" I roll my eyes, "Do it."

Alyx

"Because I thought it would be common knowledge," I say, grabbing Rayah's wrist again and holding out my hand for my other sister-in-law.

Jackie

I sigh and take his wrist, "Okay. Whatever."

Alyx

We disintegrate and appear in a hospital, bringing Rayah to an E.R. bed and handing her to a set of nurses. I let go of Nic's wife and cross my arms, wondering if Jace should be here.

Jackie

I cross my arms, still covered in her blood, and pace around the room. I get my phone out and text Nic.

Ray's at a hospital. I think it's best you tell Jace now. I'm kinda worried...

Nic

I get Jackie's text and swallow, picking up both his daughter and mine, "C'mon, Ja. We're going to the hospital, okay? Rayah's hurt."

Jackie

They get her settled and let us in. She has wires in her arms and...she's still pretty bloody. I swallow and realize she's asleep. God...I thought she was dead for a second...

Nic

We get to the hospital and Alyx takes Halee and Riley, watching them outside. I lead Jace to the room Jackie said Rayah would be in and sigh, watching the look of horror on his face when he sees her.

"Jacks," I whisper, taking my wife's hand, "Let's go get you cleaned up, leave these two alone for a bit."
