Emmett

All right; let me indulge you in my selfishness for a moment. Looking through those pictures on Jane's phone- well, I was horrifed- but then, some part of me thought; God, I'm so screwed. 'Cause the fact was... I was unscrewed, if you get what I mean. It's not like I was completely chaste- I've had my share of hot stuff- but it's been a damn small share. It's never really bothered me to much- I mean, until Lacey got pregnant...

Ah, Lace. She's standing there, frozen, lips pursued. Seeing her, and that small bump in her chest, reminded me about the scumbag I should be fighting aganist in my head- Drake.

"I'm going to do something to that guy." I mutter to myself. "Scumbag."

I'm not very strong, and ran Cross Country up until Junor year- so I'm at least sorta-fast. Threatening? Not at all. The way Jane's shoulders seemed to relax at my words made things better, even if the worst thing I could do to the guy would be to outwit him until his brain cells hurt.

Which is always a possibility.

"What are you going to do?" Lacey's voice was soft, hesistant, like she knew she shouldn't be talking but was going to do it anyway.

"I..." Jane seems to think the question is directed at her. "I don't know... I can't... I mean... Emmett... I don't want to."

The hot chocolate tastes bitter on my tongue as I pick it up and take a sip. My brain is working at a thousand miles an hour. Guys like Drake, who treat girl like their sex toys...I 've never liked them. I've stood up aganist a few of them, but I've never exacted revenge. I don't even like revenge.

I liked Jane, though.

Lacey looked at me expectently. She knew exactly who her question was directed at. Her caramel eyes got that sparkly look to them, like she knew she was in for a ride she couldn't wait to get on. I'd gotten in trouble so many times because of those eyes. I couldn't see the look in Jane's eyes- I couldn't read them, but I could see the cloudy.

It's time for undercover Emmett. I sigh. No choice, right? The worst thing could get is another black eye and a sense of 'hey, at least I tried.' "Where did he say this party was again an- uh- how badly do you want to exact revenge?"

We all sit back down. Lacey shuffles back into the seat across from Jane and I, her eyes sparkly. Great. Just Great. Had to bring along my sister. Jane is shaking, and I take her hand.

Lacey leans on her elbows. "What's the plan, brother?"

"Jane could agree." This is my least favorite part. Jane yanks her hand away, terrified. "But not show up. Drake could just wait in a designated room and, well, how much does Drake believe in Ghost stories?"
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

I slammed my locker door. Today wasn't the best day to talk to me. I was furious. Chris's dad came back. I don't understand this. I hate the guy for abandoning his family. It reminded me of my own. And I wanted to escape that. I thought Chris would have a happy family, until I met him. I just needed a place where everything was good. That's not his fault, I'm being selfish there. He doesn't deserve a father like that, nor does his sister and his mother needs a great husband. That bastard will never succeed to that.

His father's abandonment caught me off guard like my own parents. Pushing me away. They didn't even fucking call me to see if I was alive.

I walked to my next class and sat down in my normal seat. World history with Mr. Kolawski. He was the nicest teacher in the school so maybe he'll give me a break today.

People started to pile in as the bell rang and that's when I saw Gregg. That guy went all MIA for weeks!

"Gregg! My man!" I called out as he turned to look at me.

He put on a scowl and sat all the way in the back of the room. That's odd. I have texted him multiple times and asked his where he was. Why was he pissed at me? I was worried about him, he is one of my best friends.

That's why I'm happy I met up with Chris, Avery, and Lena again. They're true friends. They will tell you where they are, what's going on and even lend you a helping hand. They won't get pissed at you, but when they do they tell you why.

"Hello class, take your seats." Mr. Kowalski said while writing something on the board.

He wrote down a name and a 'Welcome To HH!' above it. Well, it's been a few weeks, we don't need to be welcomed again.

"Let me introduce your new student, a new pal or enemy, whichever way you prefer..." He smiled, pointing at the door.

New student, huh?

The whole class started as the door opened and in came Lena.

"Oh," the teacher chuckled. "He'll be in right after Lena."

I waved at her so she could sit next to me. With a smile, she sat down in the desk to my right.

"I saw that new guy," she said as she set her book bag on the floor.

"And...? Is he amigo or no amigo?"

"Definitely no amigo," she took a deep breath. "He fucking tried to have sex with me just now. I barely managed to escape if it weren't for Mr. Hungery. He caught 'us' and said no sex whatever. Didn't believe I was forced."

"That's Mr Hungery for you," I sighed. "But you're okay, right? He didn't do anything?!"

She smiled and nodded. But she couldn't say anything further when we heard the door slam open and a guy walk in. He was tall, built, and shady. He wore skinny jeans, black T-shirt and a leather jacket with his hair shaggy.

"This is Drake Montgomery." Mr. Kowalski cringed a little as he tried to pull off a smile.

I took a look at Lena and saw the fright in her eyes.

"Don't worry," my heart raced. "That guy won't land a finger on you."

Jane Wills

Emmett wanted to scare the creature. Yes, Drake is a creature now. He will always be one, but he's soon transforming into a monster.

"He doesn't believe in them," I sighed.

"We'll make him believe then, frighten the guy so bad..." Lacey smiled.

"We'll try, we have to. I can't beat him up you know." Emmett said.

I smiled, finally back to normal and not scared shitless.

"I know, you do what you have to do."

My phone vibrated on the table and Emmett took a look at it. His eyes widened and I was getting worried.

"That lying scumbag." he hissed.

"What does it say?" Lacey and I asked at the same time.

Looking up, he replied. "That he transferred into Harmony."

"Emm," there was a pause. "He never lies. That's the whole problem. He's a devil but he never lies."

Spoiler
Drake keeps coming up in the story. He's a good example. Maybe we should make a profile for him. Your opinions to be in the DT.

Lena

Just then, two men in ragged clothes came in, and before I know it, a bullet went firing into the ceiling. Every screams, scared. I tremble for a minute. "Alright, everyone down!"

People scattered across the room, and Chris's dad's hand whirled around my mouth. I tried to let go, but I could feel the gun on my back. I saw disgust and hatred in Chris's eyes. I took hold of Chris's dad's hand, wanting him to leave him.

"Chris! Take the girl!" he said, stupidly. The two men followed us, and Chris took my hand.

We walked outside. Just then, I wriggled Chris's hand off and took out my Judo moves. I kicked the gun off he guy's hand and pinned him to the ground.

"Chris! Punch him!" I instructed him and he landed a 500 bolt of punch on him, making him to growl in pain.

I banged the other's head onto a wall, and grabbed Chris's hand. I ran with him, but a bullet passed my hair.

Fuck! I could have killed myself now!

We stopped. Chris's dad couldn't see me, because I covered my sight my hiding behind the truck. But he could see Chris and he didn't move. I tugged on to his shirt but he shook his head.

"Lena, go! I don't want to you come back! And tell Will to move Penny and mom out of the house! Along with Will! Find another home for them! Promise me, Lena! Go!" he said, as he left my hand.

"No! I can't leave you here!" I whispered to him, but he shook his head vigorously.

"I'll loose 4 people if you don't go! But if you do, I'll earn back my precious 4 people! Will, you, mom and Penny! Do this for me, Lena!" Chris said, and turned. "I surrender! Okay!"

"Where's the girl?" he asked, and I skipped behind the bushes, looking at Chris, one last time. I cried, wanting to go back and help him but I couldn't.

"She almost killed me. Sh-she escaped." he said, and that's all I heard as, I took a cab and went back home.

x--xAt School

Today was just another good day. I guess. It better be because today is when I was supposed to meet up with Ms. Claire and talk about a few things like how to start off or teach a class because that definitely was a problem to me.

I got into the Art room to see a strange guy who dressed perfectly nice but needed a total makeover for his hair. I raised my eyebrows at him and looked around for Ms. Claire. He smirked and came close to me.

"Hi, there." he said, grinning. Pretty cute if you ask me. "May I know who you're looking for?"

"Oh, have you seen Ms. Claire around?" I ask, still scanning over the room for her red-tied up bun-like hair.

"Actually, she's taking a leave-off today." he said.

Ms. Claire? Taking a leave? That's weird.

"Oh, okay. I'll just go back to my class then." I said, turning my heels back until he stopped me again.

"I didn't get your name!" he told me.

I turned again and smiled. "Lena."

"Lena? Oh, yeah! Ms. Claire told me to show you something. I'm Drake, by the way. New here. Very close friend of Ms. Claire" he said, and we shook hands.

"Nice to meet you. Show me what?"

"Follow me." he said, and I followed, deeper into the Art room.

There was a storage like place. He kept turning back to see if I was still at him. Something was wrong. If Ms. Claire wanted to show me something, she could have just texted me. But I still didn't take any chances of missing what she had to show me. He opened the door to the storage room where it was nicely decorated. It was dark though. I entered and he closed the door behind me.

"Switch on the lights, will you?" I ask him, frowning.

But he didn't. Instead, he did something astonishing. He grabbed my waist and threw me in the couch, with him on top of me. I wanted to scream. What the fuck was he up to?! Is he trying to rape me? I slapped him on the face but he was a little strong. My legs were in between his legs.

"You're beautiful, and if I don't get my chances on someone as sexy as you, I would regret my whole life. Why don't we have our time? I'm really good." he whispered as reached for my waist, trying to remove my skirt and slighting touching my shoulders. He kissed me on the neck, pressed on to me more.

It was dreadful. He didn't know how to fuck someone. It was a violent sex, not a smooth and sweet one, I had with Chris. I told him to stop but he wouldn't bulge. Just then, the doors opened as I saw a man, shaved face with his arms folded. He switched on the lights and I pushed Drake off him and felt on the floor.

"Oof!" he groaned.

I got up, straightening my skirt and fixing my bra back. It was Mr. Hungery. Oh, thank god! I went up to him, and he frowned at Drake.

"This is the most disgusting habit of you! I wouldn't have let you inside the school grounds if it weren't for your father sponsering the school and your exceptional marks. I don't want to see this, Mr. Montgomery. OUT! NOW!" He ponted outside, and I took my bag, and ran through the hall.

I was late for my first class. I heard the teacher spoke about the new kid in school and I definitely wanted to scream that he's a bitch.

"Let me introduce your new student, a new pal or enemy, whichever way you prefer..." he said, but I strolled in.

The class giggled a little, and I chuckled. The teacher chuckled too. I saw Will at the last desk. He smiled and waved. I smiled and took a seat next to him, putting my bag down. I turned to him.

"I saw that new guy." I told him. I wanted to kill him!

"And...? Is he amigo or no amigo?" he asked, grinning.

"Definitely no amigo," I took a huge breath. "He fucking tried to have sex with me just now. I barely managed to escape if it weren't for Mr. Hungery. He caught 'us' and said no sex whatever. Didn't believe I was forced."

"That's Mr Hungery for you," Will sighed. "But you're okay, right? He didn't do anything?!"

The panic in a guy's face is sometimes really cute and funny. I looked at him and smiled. I was about to say something when the door's opened, and Drake walked in. He flipped through his hair and my eyes widened.

HOLYCRAPHE'SINMYCLASS!

"This is Drake Montgomery." the teacher said, with a very small smile.

I started shaking, but Will looked at me and I looked back. I had a fishy feeling. Drake smiled at me, and I didn't return it.

"Don't worry, he won't land a single finger on you." Will said, assuring me.

This is what I most like about Will. He knows how to control with a girl's emotions and I knew that if he was next to me, it would be all okay. I had a feeling that even Chris couldn't assure me like that. But he was just as cool as Will.

Drake took a seat straight opposite to me, and winked at me. He mouthed, "9 PM, at my house, tonight?"

I scribbled down in a paper, as Will looked at it.

You might as well live in hell.

I tossed it to him, and waited for his reply.

"Will, I need to tell you something. Its kind of serious." I said, and Drake had passed me his note.

With you, I'll go anywhere.

"What is it?" he asked me.
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.

Chris

"She almost killed me. Sh-she escaped," I lied. I resisted the urge to glance at where she was hiding.

"Idiot!" he growled, snapping his arm back and slapping me across the face. "She'll call the cops, then you're going down with ne!"

I clenched my fists, knowing that I shouldn't fight him when he had a knife plus a gun. I just had the small pistol he handed me. Behind us there was a loud scream and a woman's voice.

"P-p-please," she said urgently, desperately. "I-I'm sorry! I h-have two kids!"

I heard the gun cock and I winced, turning away, dreading what would happen next.

"NO! PLEASE, I'M BEGGIBG YOU! TAKE ALL THE MONEY IN THE REGISTER, JUST PLEASE HAVE MERCY!" she cried screaming and sobbing hysterically. "DON'T-"

There was the sound of thunder, and it was over. I could hear someone sobbing softly, then I realized that it was me. I hadn't cried since my dad left, and now I was bawling my eyes out. I felt him reach down and yank my head up by my hair, pulling me close so I could look in his eyes.

"Real men don't cry, son," he said harshly, a smirk on his face despite his angry tone. He had serious halitosis and I was trying not to gag at the smell. He pushed me roughly away. "Get in the truck!"

The two other guys came out laughing, a pillow case filled with what I assumed to be the cash in the register. A lump in my throat, I trudged back to the truck, my legs wobbly. I was a part of their crime spree. They had already murdered and performed an armed robbery. If they went to jail, odds are I'd go to jail too. But hopefully Lena had done what I asked, and at least my family was safe.

"Having fun hanging out with your old man, boy?" one Of the men cackled. He was shorter than the other guy, and had a tattoo of an eagle on his arm.

My dad hopped driver's side of the truck and the two guys hopped in the back. "Since I can't have you ratting us out, you're coming with us to Lenny's house," my dad said, jerking his thumb at the tall, burly bald guy in the back. "And so you don't call the police..." he reached in my pocket and took my phone, shutting it off before shoving it in his pocket.

From behind, someone took out a blindfold and put it over my eyes. "Just a precaution," Lenny chuckled.

*****

After driving around for twenty minutes, they stopped and helped me inside of a house. They shut the door and removed the blindfold. The house was small and pretty shabby, but not as filthy as I'd expected. There was hardly any furniture; just an overstuffed couch, a small table and four wooden chairs, and an old tv on top of a tv stand.

"Alright kid," the shorter one said. "Sit down and watch tv or something while the grown-ups talk."

The men grabbed beers from the fridge and a deck of cards, sitting at the kitchen table while sat down awkwardly on the couch, turning on the news.

"...certainly have their hands full. And now for our top story of the night," the bubbly news anchor said. "Three men appear to have robbed a local coffee shop and murdered the owner, Sandra Dewitt. Several witnesses also claim there may be a fourth accomplice, and that he may have murdered a young girl he was seen conversing with before the attacks, although no one has found a second body. The men are said to be seen in a 2001 red ford pickup in poor condition. The plate numbers were covered up with black paint. Here are sketches of the three men and the possible fourth accomplice. If you have any information or know the whereabouts-"

I quickly changed the channel. They already had sketches of us, and I was already accused of murdering Lena. My heart was beating so fast I thought it would explode.

"Hey boy!" Lenny shouted, making me jump. "Why don't you come sit with us and share a beer over a game of poker?"

My dad gave me a look and I nodded slowly. Sitting in the chair by the window, the short guy handed me beer and dealt the cards. I took a sip, barely tasting it.

"You did a good job today kid. When I was your age, I definitely would've panicked. I mean, taking care of my own girlfriend? You got some balls!" The man chuckled.

"Th-thanks," I said quietly.

Lena, I thought. Please get everyone to safety, and please get someone to help me!
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!

Avery

Today is going great! The day all started with me preparing for school on Monday in an awesome mood. The party had gone great and without incident thankfully. I looked pretty nice and Will was the sexiest guy in the whole house. Even after he had spent the night with me to cuddle which made me the happiest. After getting up and doing my yoga i took a nice steamy hot shower and just relaxed. For the day I decided to keep my hair curly and put the long springy curls into two long pigtails. I got dressed in my bright aqua short skirt and fitted tank for the day since today was our schools pep rally and all of the cheerleaders were required to wear their uniforms.
When I got to school I was showered in hellos and hows it going's and such. The whole time on my way to my locker I had a huge smile on my face. When I got there I reapplied my makeup and then noticed a really pretty girl to my left struggling with her locker. I decided to be the nice girl and help her out.

" Hey you need some help with that?" I asked innocent enough, leaning on the locker next to hers. She sneered at me and turned back to her locker. I frowned and waited there until finally she slumped her shoulders and looked at me from the corner of her dark green eyes.

" I'm Laila and I hate fake bitch cheerleaders, so please don't turn out to be one." She said curtly moving to the side so I could help with her locker. I asked for the code and opened it within twenty seconds flat.

" Well I am a cheerleader but i'm not one from one of those corny preteen movies." I say with a smile. She looks at me and offers me a small smile of her own " I'm Avery by the way, and it's nice to meet you." I say extending my hand.

" It's nice to meet you too." She says taking my hand and shaking it gently " I hope you don't mind me saying but your really short." She says giggling at my petite five foot nothing.

" Well your tall." I say sticking my tongue out at her playfully. We both giggle a bit and I walk her to her first period class.

" I'll probably run into you later in the day since all of us "bitchy cheerleaders" have the day of and have to burst into random classrooms and sell kisses for a dollar." I say rolling my eyes.

"Ugh i'd rather be in class then kiss some random weirdo for a buck." She says with a grimace.

" Well I gotta do what i've gotta do." I say smiling a sad smile.

"Well good luck!" She says brightly, then enters her class.

I sigh and proceed to my first classroom. In the first class i got eight kisses. The second a heaping sixteen. The third twelve. By the time I get to Will's World History class i'm almost all out of cotton candy lip gloss and have narrowly escaped tongue after tongue trying to rape my mouth. I skip into his class and say the same rehearsed line that i've been saying all day.

"Hey guy's my name is Avery and i'm apart of the Harmony High cheerleading squad. We need some donation money for new equipment and I was hoping that I could squeeze a bit out of you guys. We will be selling kisses for one dollar per smooch and I hope that some of you will want to plant one on these lips right here." I say with a flirty smile aimed mainly towards Will.

Immediately the whole male student body raises their hand and I ask all of the takers to line up in the front of the class. Lena was the first and she smiled at me brightly.

" Would'nt want you guys to go without your pom poms and shit. So plant one on meh right here." She said sticking a finger into her cheek. I smooch it and give her a hug and then she sat down. The next guy was Gregg, Will's friend. I found it kinda weird that he wanted to kiss me but hey he wanted to help out his best friends girlfriend which I could respect. He was one of the force his tongue down my throat type of guys and as I felt that fleshy pink muscle try to force its way into my mouth I bit it, backed away and slapped him across the face, finally getting tired of all the pervs in the school.
" Get the fuck out of my face." I whispered to him. He scampered away and I saw Will about to go confront him but all I did was shake my head and he stayed in place. Will was the last one of the group and I smiled as he walked up to me.
" I've needed one of these all day." He said then pulled me closer and kissed me softly but passionately. When his tongue found its way into my mouth I just smiled and kept kissing him. When I was getting ready to leave one last guy came up to me, ten dollars in his hand. He was obviously new since I had never seen him before and looked pretty cool in my opinion. He walked up to me, placed his big hand in the small of my back and kissed me hard, his tongue slipping in without me even noticing. When he was finished, he smiled a bad boy smile at me, turned around and winked at Lena. Her eyes were wide with fear while Will's were wide with rage.

Oh boy.
life is a beach (*chuckle chuckle* get it lol)

This is after Desti's post. If you still want something to happen, do so. This s after that hour. Also took some liberties in Drake's appearance. Hope that's okay.

Emmett

Another exciting school day in the life of Emmett Ahote Lopez, at your service.

I still don't know how to deal with the Drake situation. I want to confront him, but I'm a little worried about doing so. If he got angry at me and threw a punch...well, unless he's a skinny, barely getting away with lithe guy under 5'9- I'm probably done for. By his texts, it sounds like he knows about me- but does that mean he knows what I look like? If he doesn't, I couldn't easily go talk to him undercover.

I want to go talk to Jane- I need to go talk to Jane. She's even more tense than I am about this whole situation. Of course she is. It's only rational. For some reason, having her around just makes things so much more... not relaxed, but makes me more confident. More at ease with myself. I wish our fifth hours weren't so far away. We've known each other a week, and I feel like there's a lingering presense missing wthout her. A sort of drug with good and bad effects.

So much better than prescription pills. Just to say.

Five minutes until my next class. I don't think I can make it across the school and have enough time to do more than kiss her. I sigh, watching a guy I don't recognize walk across the hall, looking smug. Could it be...?

I walk at him. If you think, you'll turn back... Do it for Jane. Don't think. Jane. Don't think. He's not really all that threatening; muscular enough, but still lithe. Like a skater dude, but not one of the druggie High School ones. One that could care, and did occasionally, at a tournament thing or whatever.

He grins at me, a slow and lazy grin. "Yo, dude. I'm Drake, I'm new here."

He has a lazy drawl, but a confident one. There's intelligence behing his words, but he doesn't seem to recognze me. Don't you know what Jane's boyfriend looks like?

"Emmett. Been here awhile." I try and keep my voice level, not let my emotions betray me. I'm pretty good at that. It's guys like you who do things like that to Lacey. "How do you like it here?"

He grins a cat-like grin. "Nice to have a new set of girls. I was getting a little tired of the old one, know what I mean?"

I have a pregnant sixeteen year-old sister. I sure as hell don't know what you mean. "No, I don't play that sort of game." I let a little bit of steam out. "It'd be nice, I suppose, if you don't have a girl."

He laughs. "I'm a free-man, Emmett. I guess you have a girl, don't you? A little goody two-shoes like you."

I see now that I've been underestimating just the amount of intelligence in his eyes. He's not stupid, but I'm still smarter. Shrugging, I say, "What's it to you?"

He narrows his eyes. "What's her name, Lopez?"

How in the heck Drake knows my last name is beyond me, but it sends shivers up my spine. "Why would you need to know?"

He laughs, the devil rising up off of him as the second bell rings. "So I can fuck the poor girl. Somebody need to lay you, Emmett Lopez, and I might as well show her how."

And then he's gone.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Emmett came up to my locker with a less than happy appeal. It seemed like he was hiding something and was furious about it. Even though we had just met a week ago, I can tell what's going on through his nerdy little mind.

"Hey," he smiled, leaning against the locker.

"Emm," I said questionably.

"What?"

I peaked from my locker to look at his face, he was curious.

"What happened?" I asked, shutting my locker.

"What do you mean?"

With a sigh, I leaned against my locker and waited for him to realize what I was getting at.

But before he could even open his mouth, I saw him. Drake Montgomery. Him being all smug in his leather jacket. The only flaw was a bloody nose and broken jaw, I could tell by the way he was holding it. My heart raced once he spotted me.

He gave Emmett a look and went past us, trying to pass as hot.

"Whoa." I smiled. "Did you do that?" I looked at Emmett.

His eyes got wide. "No, no, I wish."

"I do too." I chuckled.

I held onto his hand and he led me to my next class.

William Franco

Avery was collecting money for something the cheerleaders need by giving away kisses for one dollar. But one guy, Drake of course, just had to take advantage of that.

I walked up to him after his practically rape kiss. Everyone had their chance, even me to give out money for the cause, but he wanted more than just to help the fund.

"Hey, my girlfriend." I spat at him.

He turned around with an oh-so-I'm-better-than-you look.

"Not fair that you could make-out with her and we only get one kiss, huh?" he licked his lips slowly, just so I could see.

It rose the anger in me, my heart racing and fists clenching. Avery was just staring blankly at us.

"Well, I'm her boyfriend." I hissed now.

"So what? I would make her much happier than you could any day." he chuckled.

Such a confident pervert.

With all my might, I punched the guy's face in. What he did to Lena. What he almost did to Avery. That motherfucker deserved this.

My fist hit his jaw, I felt the bone cracking and the blood running down my own knuckles.

As I pulled away, he grabbed his jaw and wiped his nose. Guess I git him there as well.

"You bitch," he hissed.

"Both of you!" Mr. Kowalski suddenly said from behind me.

"To the principals! Now!"

And we were on our wonderful way.

I saw Will punching Drake on the jaw, straight up. He called upon a few swear words and just when me and Avery were about to stop him, Will had already committed the action. They were now leading their way to the Principal. Me and Avery tried explaining it to Mr. Kowalski but he didn't bother to change his decision.

"Mr. Kowalski, it wasn't Will's fault!" Avery exclaimed.

"She's right, Mr. Kowalski! Its Drake who caused it!" I jumped in.

"I think I have a good vision, thank you." Mr. Kowalski said, looking through his glasses. "Now, if you'll could move to your next classes, that would be nice."

He walked out and I looked at Avery. She looked a little sad, and I placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry. He'll come out of it." I said, smiling a little.

"I wish I could help him if I didn't have this cheerleading budget thing coming up." she said, looking at Will walking away.

Will turned and told us to calm down with his hands, and Avery nodded. I swear, they share a really nice relationship. They're so adorable together. I thought about Chris the whole time. I wonder if he's alright. I decided to call him. Maybe that way I could still contact him.

I dialed in his number and waited until he picked it. A rough, cold voice picked it up. Immediately, I realized it was his dad. I should have thought so. I gasped.

"Aah, Chris! Look who we have on the line. Your girlfriend! Hello?" I heard him saying in the background.

I stayed silent. I didn't want to talk. I cut the phone, not wanting to talk. But it called back. I kept cutting it but it kept calling. It was the 4th time. I know, its to track me down. Avery kept looking at me, worried.

"You okay, Lena?" she asked me but I barely could hear her.

Don't trust it, Lena. Don't.

But it was too hard for me to hold on. Something made me pick it up.

"H-Hello?" I stammered.

"Lena?" I heard Chris's voice telling me.

Oh, thank god!

"Chris! Oh my god, Chris! Where are you?!" I asked, panicking.

"I-I can't tell you." he said in a very small voice. "Did you inform Will and Avery?"

"Will's gone to the principal's office, right now. Avery's here but I haven't told her yet." I said, gazing at Avery.

"What do you have to tell me?" Avery mouthed to me, but I wanted to talk to Chris first.

"Principal's office? What has he got his self into?" he asked.

"For punching a guy..." I said, and quickly changed the subject not wanting him to know what happened between me and Drake. I just couldn't think of it. "Look, just take care. I'll move Penny, your mom and grandpa, and Will to my aunt's house. She's gone abroad for a few years and the house had been left for a few years. Love you. Bye, now." I said, slapping the cover shut, almost dropping the cell and turned to Avery.

"Explain." she said.

I told her every single word of it, and her eyes turned into full of horror, terrified and worried. She grasped on to my hand, shocked by what she was hearing. I cried my eyes out thinking about what Chris must be doing now.

"I need to get Penny, Chris's mom and granddad out of the house. They can murder them any time!" I said, as I hugged Avery and cried on her.

She patted my back, and sobbed a little. "It's okay, love. Everything will be alright. We're here." she said. "We have to tell Will."

"I know! Can you text him?" I asked her.

She smiled, and nodded. "What's a cell for, then?" she winked at me.

Spoiler
I'd like to join in on the action going on with Chris, Lena, Will, and Avery. What say you all?

What the fuck's going in this school? Chris is wanted for some crime and rumors are already floating around about some new kid that started here today. Lena has a few classes with, one of which was Mr. Hungery, and she was late to class. Will waved her over and she sat down beside him.

"That's Mr Hungery for you," he sighed.

Total douche alert.

"This is Drake Montgomery." Mr. Kowalski cringed a little as he tried to pull off a smile.

I took a look at Lena and saw the fright in her eyes.

"Don't worry," he touched her shoulder. "That guy won't land a finger on you."

He wouldn't lay a finger on anybody as far as I was concerned.

"This is Drake Montgomery." the teacher said, with a very small smile.

He even sounded like a douche. He took a seat opposite to Lena and started writing notes. I could only imagine what she replied, and the thought made me smile. Then he spotted me and smiled. My insides went cold. I didn't like the cold and hungry look in his eyes.

"Hello gorgeous," he licked his lips lightly. "What's your name?"

"Luna." I smiled tightly.

"Lovely name for a lovely woman." he says softly.

I nod but say nothing. Lena tosses him back the note, reads it, then he shreds the note like he doesn't care anymore, and dumps it in the waste basket by his desk. He has his sights set solely on me. Shit Out of the corner of my eyes I could see Lena checking us out nervously.

"So," he begins. "are you single?"

"I'm kind of seeing someone right now." was my reply.

"Really?" his eyebrow raises. "What's the lucky guy's name?"

"Sorry, but that's none of your buisness." my eyebrow raises.

"Hm." he nods.

For the rest of class he didn't so much as breathe towards Lena. He was focused on me. Watching my every move. He stared at my neck like he wanted to sink his teeth into it, and stared at my chest. Ew. Then my stomach, and below the table. All I could really hope was that he'd been thinking about my legs and nothing else, but that was surely in vain. I crossed my leg under the table and tried to pay attention.Towards the end of class I noticed Drake doing something weird under the desk. The room was dark do to the projector and we were sitting towards the back of class. From what I could tell his face was covered in a light sheen of sweat and he looked like he was panting....Holy shit!! Was he jacking off under the desk!? He looked at me as if he knew what I was thinking and smiled. His hands came from under the table as he grabbed his backpack. The bell rang and he took his leave. What a disgusting son of a bitch. I headed for the door.

I watched everything happen at the coffee shop and just sat there drinking my coffee. One of the guys pushed me out of the way and into the wall on his way out, knocking me to thegtound. Matt helped me up, and we ran out of tue place. School was no better, Matt left early after first period for a dentist appointment. When i got to my creative writing class, there was a new guy, Drake Montgomery. He took a seat beside me. "Hey, Im Drake. Whats your name?" he asked while checking me out. "carly." "Got a boyfriend?" "yes." He's silent the rest of class, but I can see him staring at me. When the bell rings, I go to leve but he stops me. "Im still a little lost here. Wanna show me around?" I sigh. "Fine." I show him around a little and he turns to me, pointing at one of the hidden stairwells. "whats that?" "That's one of the hidden stairwells, no one ever uses them and theyre closer to classes, so I would recommend them. But if the double doors are shuy, dont go in, someone else is in there for privacy." He walks toward it and shoved me in before closing the double doors. He backs me against the wall. "I told you I have a boyfriend." I remind him. "So what? I bet I can make you much happier than he ever will." my eyes fgrow wide, just as I go to scream he covers my mouth. He pulls out a pocketknife. "Scream and I wil use this." He starts kissing me, and laus me on the floor. I try to fight with him, but he is too strong. He gets my shirt off and pulls off his own before getting on top of me. His lips find my neck as he pulls bith of our pants off. He pits his hands all over my body. He gets my bra off as well. After spening a good twenty minutes trapped in here, he gets off of me. Both of us breathing heavily, we get dressed and e has a smile on his face. He pulls his pocketknife back out, "Now dont tell anyoe." I head to photography class trembling. I see him later in the day, he has a bloody nose and broken jaw, but he still looks at me, pleased. I want to hug whoever did that to him.

I think I have an idea on how to bring Luna into action. I'll post it here.

Lena

Avery texts Will, and wait for his reply. We walk to Statistics before Avery says she has to leave. Bummer.

"Will said, we'll all meet up outside, after school. Please don't tell me you're going for that Art campaign, right?" Avery asks, raising one of her eyebrows.

"Nah, its not today. I'll see you later!" I say, waving at her and turn to walk to Statistics.

I walk into the class and I see Luna out of the corner of my eye. Well, she's the only person I know, so I get a seat next to her. I forget whatever happened in the past, and smile at her.

"Can I sit here?" I ask her.

"Sure." she says, smiling and I take my seat.

The teacher walks in but I knew neither me or Luna was listening as to what happened last class. Drake. We keep looking at each other if he was going to stroll in, anytime. Luna breaks the silence.

"Hey, what's going on with Chris?" she asks me, worried.

I sigh. I feel like crying when I think about that. I knew she just wanted to help, but I didn't feel like talking about it, though.

"Its okay, if you don't want to tell me." Luna says.

"No, its fine." I say, and take a huge breath. "Its Chris's dad. He almost kidnapped me. He was in jail the past 10 years , I think. He can murder his mom, sister and grandpa anytime. I need to move them out. Chris is stuck with his dad. I don't even know what's their next plan."

I feel small tears coming out. I look up the ceiling and control myself.

"I can help, if you'd like." she said.

The more, the merrier, Lena. Get her!

"Will you?" I ask, with a small smile.

"Of course. After all, he's a good friend of mine too. But first we need a plan. Do Avery and Will know about this?" asks Luna.

"Yeah... We're planning to meet up outside after school. Join us! I'll come to you after school?" I ask.

"Great. I'll wait by my locker." she says, picking up her bag as the bell rang.

We walk together outside, taking about various ways of getting Chris out of trouble. But there's something or the other wrong with the things we decide with. And so, we end up chucking it. We pass the hidden stairwell, and Luna stops. I turn back.

"What's wrong?" I say, getting curious.

"No... Its just that, the hidden stairwell's closed. No one ever uses it. I wonder what's wrong." Luna says.

"Maybe we should check if everything's alright?" I suggest.

"Yeah, maybe we should." Luna says, and we walk till there.

The both of us peep through the small transparent square glass on the door. Luna gasped, her eyes wide in fear. I freeze, and is just as shocked as Luna. The both of us are speechless for a minute.

"That bitch!" she says, almost kicking the door but I stop her.

"Luna, no! He has a pocketknife! He can do anything to Carly!" I exclaim.

"That poor girl's had so much in her life! I NEED TO SAVE CARLY!" Luna whispers.

"If you go in now, he could hurt Carly, Luna! You don't want that do you? Luna, he almost raped me today morning too. That's why I was late." I say, dragging her away.

She looks back the door, feeling pity for Carly.
"That's the first time, I've never saved someone!" Luna almost yells, anger surging up inside her.

"Its the best we can do..." I say in a small voice.
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.

I was sitting in class when Lena walks in and heads in my direction.

"Can I sit here?" she asks.

"Sure." I smile.

She takes the seat next to me. As the teacher talks most likely neither one of us are paying attention to him. We were both waiting for Drake to walk through the door. I break the silence. "Hey, what's going on with Chris?"

She sighs and I get the feeling she doesn't wanna talk about it.

"Its okay, if you don't want to tell me." I say.

"No, its fine." Lena say, and takes a huge breath. "Its Chris's dad. He almost kidnapped me. He was in jail the past 10 years , I think. He can murder his mom, sister and grandpa anytime. I need to move them out. Chris is stuck with his dad. I don't even know what's their next plan."

Well that doesn't sound like fun. "I can help if you'd like?"

"Will you?" she asks.

"Of course. After all, he's a good friend of mine too. But first we need a plan. Do Avery and Will know about this?" I ask.

"Yeah... We're planning to meet up outside after school. Join us! I'll come to you after school?" she asks.

"What's wrong?" she asks curiously.

"No... Its just that, the hidden stairwell's closed. No one ever uses it. I wonder what's wrong." I say with a frown.

Every hair on my body is standing on end.

"Maybe we should check if everything's alright?" she suggests.

"Yeah, maybe we should." I say, and we head over.

The both of us peep through the small transparent square glass on the door. I gasped, my eyes wide with shock and revulsion. Lena freezes, and is just as shocked as I am. The both of us are speechless for a minute. Seeing Drake on top of Carly doesn't really make me happy unless it's Matt and she's having the time of her life.

"That bitch!" Isay, almost kicking the door the door in, but Lena stops me.

"Luna, no! He has a knife! He can do anything to Carly!" she exclaims.

"Are you fucking kidding me!?" I look at her.

"You can't." she shakes her head.

"She's had so much crap in her life," I say. "I need to help her!"

"If you go in now, he could hurt Carly, Luna! You don't want that do you? Luna, he almost raped me today morning too. That's why I was late." Lena says, dragging me away.

I know she's right, but I don't wanna believe it. "We can't just leave her!"

"We have to! He could hurt even more than he already has!" I Lena pulls harder at me, and I let her drag me away.

I look back at the door feeling nothing but sorrow. I can't believe this. Once she's dragged me far enough she lets go. I start pacing like a mad man.

"That's the first time, I've never saved someone!" I almost yell, letting me rage surge.

"Its the best we can do..." Lena says in a small voice.

I turn to look at her. "You can tell yourself that if you want to, but I sure as hell ain't."

"Luna," Lena says. "calm down."

"Calm down?" I laugh incredulously. "Oh yea, i'll calm down when his dick is shoved so far up his ass it comes out of his throat!!"

Before I can stop myself, I punch a whole into someone's locker. I don't feel the pain.

"If you're not gonna do it for yourself, then at least do it for Carly." she says softly.

That brings my temper down, and I take a deep breath. "You're right. I shouldn't have lost it like that. I usually never lose it like that."

"Usually don't lose it like what?" came another voice came from behind Lena.

We both turn to see Kai walking our way.

"Nothing," I say. "just having a crap day."

"Is that why you apparently "Lost it"?" he raises an eyebrow. "And punched a whole through through someone's poor locker?"

My lip twitched. "Sure ."

"You think i'm stupid? You have to have a pretty good reason to be pissed if you take it out on a locker." Kai comments.

I step toe to toe with him. I'm not in the mood for this. "Are some kind of expert?"

He bends slightly to look me in the eyes and says, "Yea, i'd like to say that I do."

My breath came faster than I wanted to, and my pupils were probably dilated. Just what I need. Lena pulls me away from him. "Kai, isn't it? Can you please just leave? Now's not the right time for this."

He looks At Lena for a moment, and then at me. Without another word he walks off.

"Ugh," I run a hand though my hair. "I hate how he gets under my skin."

The tardy bell rings, and Lena touches me. "We have to get to class."

I didn't say anything, I just followed her to our next class, which we had together, in total silence.

Photography class goes by quickly with me sitting silently, trying not to think about what just haopened. The bell rings for us to go to lunch. When I get there, I get my food and sit in the corner by myself. Lauren comes over to ke. "What's wrong? You werent in cooking class and you looked scared and were silent all through photography!" "I-I cnt say. " Before she can say anything, Drake comes and sits beside me. "So? What are you girls talking about?" He glares at me and then looks at his pocket, reminding me yet again that he can do anything. He leans over with a smirk on his face and kisses my neck. Lauren is shocked. "I cant believe you would cheat on Matt!" She leaves before I can explain. "Meet me at my place at eight." He says slipping me a paper with his adress. "If I were you I would come, unless you want me to use that pocketknife. Plus now I know who your boyfriend is." He smirks as he leaves. Im trembling again. I get ip and take a seat with Lauren at Luna's usual table. "Im not cheating on Matt. But I cant teell you more than that". She nods and Luna sits down.

I see Carly as I head for the usual lunch table. Drake slips her a piece of paper before heading off in the other direction. I sit down and look straight at her with that Don't-Think-I-Didn't-Just-See-What-He-Did look. I stand up and motion for her to step out in the hall way with me. Carly gets up and heads for the hallway with me. I grab her by the arm and push against the lockers. "I'm only going to ask you this once, and I don't want a bull shit answer, I want the truth, and I want it now."

"I-I-I-Don't wanna talk about it." she sniffs.

"That's bull shit and you know it." I shake my head.

"Please don't make me do this." she sobs. "I can't let him hurt Matt."

"Let who hurt Matt?" I ask softly.

She wraps her arms around herself and slides down to the floor. "Drake."

"All i'm trying to do is help you, honey." I bend at the knees in front of her. "Now what does he want with you?"

I already knew the answer, but she didn't know that.

"H-he wants me to come over to his house tonight at eight or he threatened to hurt Matt." she sniffs.

"Well, you're sure as hell not going." I say. "If you let this happen he'll never leave you alone.

She shook her head. "I have to go."

"No, you don't." I tell her. "You can't let him have this power over you."

"He was so strong." she cried.

"Carly," I touched her shoulder. "stay with me."

"I tried to fight him." she shook her head as tears ran down her face.

"Carly, calm down." I say.

"But I couldn't get him off of me!" she almost screams.

I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close. "Take a deep breath. I'm right here."

I waited for her to calm down. I knew how she felt, but she didn't know that either. It took a good five minutes before she could say anything coherent. I pulled out a Kleenex and handed it to her. She blew her nose and sat there before a moment before she spoke. "Thanks."

"What are friends for?" I shrug and smile.

"I never expected anything like this to happen to me." she hugs her knees.

"Well," I sit down beside her. "there really isn't much you can do about it."

"How do you do it?" she looks at me.

"Do what?" I ask.

"How do you keep it together? You always seem so in control." she answers.

"It's the way I was raised." I shrug.

"You're not letting me go anywhere tonight are you?" she sighs.

"Like I said," I smile. "what are friends for?"

"What am I gonna do?" she lays her head on my shoulder.

"Take it one day at a time." I answer. "And heal. That's all you can really do."

She sighs.

"You have to say it." I inform her. "Things like this always have to be said out loud."

"I can't." she shook her head.

I took one of her hands. "Yes you can. You're stronger than you think."

She squeezes my hand tight enough that it hurts. "I was raped by a monster."

"And you're sure as hell not gonna stand for it, are you?" I raise an eyebrow.

"I guess not." she says quietly.

"I'm proud of you." I nudge her.

"Really?" she ask doubtfully.

"Hell yea," I smile. "you've got nerves of steel. Instead of folding, you kept your hand, and whether or not you believe it, you came out on top. Figuratively speaking of course."

We both laugh at that.

"We have to tell Matt." I murmur.

"I know." she nods.

"You're not going to the police I assume." I run my finger through my hair.

"No." she shakes her head.

"Have you taken a shower or cleaned yourself at all?" I question.

"No. Why?" she asks.

"Pictures, DNA samples, and audio recordings." I answer. "That way if we ever need evidence against him, it'll be there."

I can tell she's about to cry again.

"Are you mad?" I ask.

"I'm completely pissed off." she squeezes my hand tighter.

"Good." I smile. "You can put all of that anger into the fighting i'm going to be teaching you. Starting tomorrow, no ifs ands or buts about it."

She sighs. "I don't really have a choice, do I?"

"Hell no." I laugh.

She sighs again.

"One day at a time girl." I remind her. "I'll be right here for you."

After a long disscussion in the prinicpales office, I finally had a chance to look at what was on my phone.

Avery had sent me an awfully long text and I couldn't bare to believe it. Sadly, it was no lie.

I was waiting outside of the school for Lena and Ave. The wind was warm and the sky beautiful above me. A great day to save my best friend from not only a criminal father but the police as well.

"Will!" I heard a familiar voice say.

My Uncle Roy came up to me in his work attire, which was a police uniform. He's been in the job for twenty years now, amazing work. He's the only person in my family that, well, still loves me.

"Hey Uncle Roy!" I said, taking in the hug.

We pulled apart as he smiled.

"We're gonna save Chris." he took in a deep breath. "I remember when you two were so young, so close, I'm happy that's back. I know he's a good kid. Good you told me everything."

Doors slammed from behind me. I turned on my heel and saw Avery with Lena, Luna in tow. They were a bit taken back by the sight of my Uncle since he was, of course, a police officer.

"Uncle Roy," I smiled. "Avery, Lena and Luna."

I pointed out each one of the girls. They stepped closer, feeling more comfortable knowing it's family.

"Wait..." he tapped his chin. "Avery and Lena. Hmm. Oh! Those wonderful girls from middle school. They're back too?"

Nodding, I smiled.

"Why are you so calm about this?" Luna didn't bother hiding the shock.

"Because I've done this more than once."

"Aha,"

"Let's save Christopher. Shall we?" he added.

Just a few minutes later we were in his car facing an old run down building. Lights were flashing through it and you could see smoke coming out of the windows. My Uncle rolled down his window to take a sniff of it. The place was in a middle of the forest.

"Marijuana," he smiled. "This is finally going to be easy." he added under his breath.

"What do you mean?" Avery asked. She was sitting next to me because his car only had two seats in the back and we both fit in the passenger seat.

"I've been trying to catch this guy for years, all the evidence was useless but I knew he was bad ever since the day I met him at the bar."

Story break: Roy has met Chris's father long before we knew he had one at this one bar in New York. That guy blurted out his whole life's story 'cause he was drunk as hell. And my Uncle wanted to hurt him for that.

"Oh," she replied sheepishly.

He called in for some back-up and they were surrounding the house quietly, to not frighten the guys. If we would have, then they would have killed Chris and vanished from sight. Not good.

Last period of the day was Music and I had it with Emmett. It was one of my favorite classes since, one, Emm was here. Two, I loved music. And three, easy to get straight A's.

"Class, settle down." Ms. Leola said at a high-pitch tone. That was her natural voice. It matched her short height and squeaky personality.

"We have a new student here with us today..." she looked past the room. "Would you mind standing up and introducing yourself?" she smiled.

The class searched for the newbie until he finally decided to rise. Drake Montgomery.

I gulped, feeling the pressure on my heart tense up.

"Hey guys, I'm Drake Montgomery. Nice to meet 'yall. Whatever," He smirked, sitting back down.

I could feel the anger in Emmett. It was intense, I was afraid he would hurt the guy. Good.

Someone tapped my shoulder and handed me a note. Without a second glance, I knew whose it was already. My fingers were burning from the touch of the sheet of paper against my skin.

Emmett took it from my hands and ripped it up into shreds.
