Okay, guys. I'm back and I'm really sorry for the late posts. I'm just going to do this a little fast forward-ED. Lol. xDD Exams got over by the way. Sucked. ;PP
Lena
After Avery and Will left to go to Carly's house, me and Chris started snuggling. They left when "The Ring" was about to be over. Maybe a 10 minutes more, and I just cuddled more on to him, feeling warm and maybe that I could stay with him the whole time. I didn't want to leave him, ever. I just... Needed him. And I would devote my whole life to him because he was the perfect guy.
When the movie got over, Chris took of his shirt saying it was a little hot. My eyes widened, but I pretended not to show it in front of him. His body is so hot. I could grab on to it for the whole day. Then, this was the fun part. We had a small pillow fight, where I started first but he was good at this that he pinned me to the couch.
"Surrender!" he said, with both mine and his pillow on his hand.
I chuckled. "No! Fuck you!"
"Is that a threat or an offer?" he asked and I laughed.
We both sat up and looked at each other for a minute. Then, he leaned in and kissed me, which amused me and made me think of Josie. But I put those thoughts away, and kissed him back with a lot of affection. His hand motioned through my hair. After a few minutes, I pulled back, smiling a little.
"Should we watch another movie?" I asked him.
He shook his head. "I'm not really in the mood for another movie."
He leaned on to me, grabbing my waist. Now, I was on top of him, and I realized we were making out. He kissed me on the neck, and on my chest and I did the same, closing up to him. I pressed more on to him, snuggled a lot on to his arms. I want him, forever. This was the best night in my dreams. We heard knocks and rings from the door at the middle of night. Chris was annoyed since it seemed he was having a lot of fun so we both ignored.
But then, it started to get on his nerves that he had to stop. I was a little annoyed, but fixing this thing faster, would get things back to normal. He pulled away, sighing deeply.
"I'll be back. Apparently Will and Avery don't know that they don't have to knock." he said, and kissed me on my forehead as I nodded.
I didn't see him for a whole five minutes. I mean, if it was Avery and Will, they would have come straight up again not willing to wait and we could have started seeing the movie. Worried, I decided to go downstairs to see if he was alright.
I walked through the stairs.
"Chris...?" I called out.
I heard a familiar voice speaking to Chris. I couldn't catch up the words but then, when I was walking to Chris, I stopped.
Oh, FUCK!
Josie looked at Chris and then on to me. She felt irritated and angry. I knew, she liked Chris but she had never showed it. She eyed her eyes to me and then Josie looked at him. I froze to where I stood.
"Hot in your basement, huh? Wonder why." Josie said sarcastically, and stormed off.
I feel so guilty now. Chris ran over to her, to make things alright. He kept saying there was nothing between us.
"Josie, I swear. Lena and I were watching a movie. There's nothing!" Chris, said.
Nothing?
I shook my head. I felt disgusted. I mean, how could he say there was nothing? Did he tell Josie that he liked her or something to want to lie to her? The curiousness killed me, and I felt myself crying a little. I picked up my bag, and went back home, not wanting to tell Chris anything.
Allen
I reached Carly's house at 11. I saw the kids partying hard, and a lot of dancing was going on. Drinks were being wasted by throwing it on themselves. I went up to the bar, waiting for Avery so that I could explain everything too her. I'm surprised she wanted to meet me after what I had done to her at school. I felt anger surging up. I took out my phone, and started texting Jane through FB. I have to end this. The sooner, the better. Get her our of my life.
Jane, we need to talk
I got the message right away.
???
What? She doesn't remember me? Fucking bull shit!
Don't act like you don't remember. What we did last night was horrible. You ruined my relationship. How could you do that?! I love Avery and now it's all ruined 'cause you were horny and drunk.
I wanted to say more, but I stopped. I turned to the bartender and grabbed a drink when Avery arrived.
"Hey..." Avery says.
"Hey." I say back, beaming. She looked gorgeous.
"Let's go somewhere a bit quieter." Avery said, and we went into a bedroom, closing the door behind. She sits on the bed.
I start off. "Babe... I miss you." I said.
"Allen." Avery said, moving away from me a little as I take my place next to her on the bed.
"Ave, you have no idea how much I love you." I said.
"Allen, what was there between us is... officially over, alright?" she said, making me worse.
"Are you sure, Ave?" I asked her, because she didn't sound to comfortable saying it.
"Y-Yes. Of course, I am! I love Will now."
"Are you really sure, you like Will instead of me? Even after knowing the truth about what happened?"
Ave didn't speak for a moment and I knew she was speechless. She couldn't say anything. I laid a hand upon her's and to my surprise, she didn't hit it off. She looked at me, wide-eyed.
"Ave..." I say, catching her soft cheeks, and she bellowed her head. "I love you. And I'll love you for the rest of my life. I will never plan to be with Jane. Ever."
Avery looked at me, still not pleased. She took my hands of her cheek, and sighed heavily, closing her eyes for a second.
"Allen. I love Will now. You're wasting your time loving me." she said.
"I'm not! I know you don't like him like me. Not that much. You might but I'm telling you. I can see your eyes telling me that Will is not the guy."
"Stop it, Allen!" Avery said, getting up, horrified. "Stop influencing me that Will isn't a good boyfriend. He's a kind-hearted person you'll ever meet. Right now, he needs me and I need him. Its going to stay that way. He's a better guy than you!"
I shook my head, almost that I could cry. How can I prove it to her when she's seen the wrong side of the truth. Sure, she saw me fucking with Jane, but that was when we lost our minds. I'm sure that can happen to any teenager.
"Avery, just listen to me, please!" I pronounced.

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.
Waking up was pretty tough. I didn't want the sunlight to burn my eyes and I wasn't expecting a wonderful day at school, I already missed one day and it's just the first week. Good job Jumper, you didn't seem to jump.
My phone vibrated on my bedside table, it's screen flashing. I had a pretty decent phone, compact and nice. It had a blue exterior and was a touchscreen.
I picked up the phone and rubbed my eyes.
Jumper! Drink Tonite? - Drake. He was pretty hot.
One of my friends from Jackson. Someone remembered me. But then I scrolled through the messages, there were many texts from my friends.
Liz, mall stroll? - Sara, the one normal friend I have.
Hey cutie, I loved what we had. Thx for the numba. Texting you when I need a good time. - Unknown number. Freak.
I texted Sara back: Yes! When? and Drake: Sure, why not?
These texts were a couple days old except for Drake's. Maybe he just remembered I go drinking? It's hard to miss.
Sliding out of my bed, I made it as nicely as I could. My comforter was white with a few flowers designed into it. My mom actually made this for me when she went to visit Poland. Beautiful country I'm telling you.
I looked around my room, trying to see if it is messy. It looks clean enough, got all my clothes in my closer and wardrobe. I have my desk cleaned up of all school stuff, only my HP sits on it, contrasting with the white of the desk and black of it.
Walking to the bathroom which was in the hallway, I tried not to wake anyone up. I brushed my teeth, combed my hair. I did my business and changed in my bedroom.
Ready for school.
Thankfully, I did happen to have my own car. A Jeep Wrangler which was grey. It was a great car. I've always wanted it. Hopping in, I threw my backpack onto the passenger seat and drove to McDonald's. A Girl needs her breakfast.
-------------
At school it was... well, like People magazine. Except I was the Angelina Jolie that people were spreading rumors about. Even though it was technically my second day and first year here, everyone knew who I was and what I had supposedly done.
Opening my locker, I took out my Calculus book. So what? I was a little bright for my age, I was supposed to have Trigonometry but they decided I should pick a higher class. Not my choice at all. At least the class wasn't hard.
"Hey, are you dating Allen?" some random girl asked me as I head to Calculus.
"No, who the hell is that?" I hissed.
"You hooked up with him at Ave's party..." a guy said, wearing a hoodie. "Ave! Say her name correctly!" another girl with her hair in a bun said.
"Jesus Christ," I walked away from them.
All I got were stares, even a couple of glares. I wanted a drink.
William Franco Spoiler
Same night
When I saw Avery walk out of that room with Allen at her side, I was afraid I had lost her. She was just so gorgeous tonight and Allen was that close to her, I just hope I didn't lose her.
I was texting Chris while I waited. He was in some big shit right now. Shouldn't have left yourself shirtless when you answer the door.
Allen wasn't smiling, he actually was a bit sad. His eyes were staring at the bar and I knew right off the bat he was going to get drunk after we leave.
Avery came up to me, she even traced with sadness. Well, he was just her boyfriend and he had cheated on her. I understand where this comes from. If I were in her position, I would have given him another chance actually. It was a mistake. But if I did like someone else and had the chance to be with him just to see who I like more or just to see if he's the right guy, I would dump Allen in a heartbeat.
"So, how's everything?" I asked, holding Ave's hand in mine.
"If I look like a monster,' he says roughly, 'then no one will be surprised when I do monstrous things." - A.B. Poranek
"Josie, I swear! Lena and I were just watching a movie! There's nothing!" I shouted.
Josie turned and looked at me, more exasperated than angry now. "Don't lie, Chris. I know what was going on. If you want her over me then great, but don't lead me on."
She slammed her car door shut and peeled off. I just stood there, watching the car disappear. What just happened? I felt Lena roughly shove past me on her way out, refusing to look at me.
"Lena, what's wrong?" I said, chasing after her now. Two girls in one night. I was pretty unlucky.
"Think about it and you'll figure it out," she muttered, walking briskly away.
I stood there thinking a minute when it dawned on me. Oh shit. I had said there was nothing between us and she must have heard me.
"Lena, you really don't think there's nothing between us, do you?"
She shrugged, not even turning around to look at me. "If there was, then why did you say it? And more importantly, why would you comfort Josie by saying it?"
"I'm sorry, it slipped and it's not how I feel at all you know-" I stammered out.
"Goodbye Chris. Call me when you figure it out," she said starkly, marchig off.
Shit. Shit, shit, shit! I was even more confused than before now. I pulled out my phone and texted Will, telling him everything, and asking for some advice.
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!
"Everythings going fine, love." I sigh holding onto Will's hand tightly.
"What happened? What did he say? What are you guys...now?" Will peppered me with questions.
I sigh again and shake my head. I mutter that theres nothing to worry about and stalk off to my car. I can tell that he's worried but i'm tired. Sad. I can truly say that in that room...I forgot about what happened with him and Jane. I wanted him, badly, but than the feeling went away. And I remembered.
"I'm not going back in to watch movies babe. I'm sorry but I just can't do it right now." I said tiredly to Will. He nodded and looked at me sadly as if he had done something wrong but I was just to tired to even explain. I dropped him off at Chris's, said goodnight, and sped off.
By the time I get home i'm sobbing hard. He brought IT up. What happened back than. How dare he. I shake my head and hit it against the steering wheel. Fuck, fuck, FUCK. I trudge up my walkway slowly my head hanging low. I need a drink. I need a drink BAD.
After our kiss, everything goes down hill around us. Some of the guests are getting really routy and have to leave, others are just leavung because it's late. I step outside to say goodnight to a friend of Lauren's and I see Avery pull up next door. She gets out of her car and seems really stressed, she has a bit of a breakdown, but then she crumbles to the ground. I run over to help. She's knocked out, must be from banging her head on everything. I call Matt and Lauren over and tell them to send everyone home. Within about two minutes the house is clear of people, but full of mess. I bring Avery back to my place and bring her to the guest bedroom. Lauren takes my sister's room and Matt takes my brother's for the night, we're just going to clean up tomorrow.
I wake up the next morning to my alarm clock, I forgot to turn it off. It's only Thursday of the first week, but I'm skipping school today, as are Lauren and Matt. I go in to check on Avery, but she seems to have just woken up, and is extremely confused. "What am I doing here Carly!?" she asks with concern. "You had a breakdown in your driveway and were banging your head on things last night and you passed out," I say quietly, not to wake Lauren and Matt,"I wasn't going to leave you there."
Carly and I have a wonderful kiss, but then people start going nuts and have to leave. Lauren, Carly, and I go outside to say goodbye to a friend, when Carly runs next door. Her next door neighbor Avery is passed out in her driveway. Following Carly's direct orders, Lauren and I clear out the house of everyone. Carly comes in with Avery and brings her to the guest bedroom. She directs Lauren to her sister's room and me to her brother's. I spend the night dreaming about Carly, and that kiss. What does this mean for us? Are we finally going to be something, like I always hoped we would? I hope so! She's just so perfect. Now if we could just get her out of this house and away from that horrible family, we could work on her self-esteem. I drift off trying to decide how I could help her out. At lunch tomorrow, even though we're skipping school, I'm going to talk to that girl Luna, who was trying to help Carly out, maybe the two of us together can get through to her.
I get up slowly my head panging. Well fuck, i'm an idiot. My fucking freshman next door neighbor had to help my dumbass. I slowly make my way downstairs and notice Carly making breakfast. Well I don't wanna be a burden so i sneak out her front door without her noticing. When i'm laying on my bed and plugging my cell into it's charger i see that I have like 100,000 missed calls from Linnie, Lena, and My lovey dovey wub ( my name for Will in my contacts. I call him first to check in and i'm greeted with a " WHAT THE FUCK" as soon as I answer. Well that can't be good.
I stepped on the gas and tore out of Chris's driveway like a Formula 1 driver. The noise from my engine was probably scaring the neighbors, but I didn't care. I was too angry at Chris. Oh, he was just in his basement with Lena with his shirt off, but it's nothing. How stupid does he think I am?! Frankly, I was surprised I hadn't lost it and decked him right there in his driveway.
I took a sharp left turn, my tires squealing, and then swerved out of the way of another car. Honking the horn, I straightened my car out and glared back at the other guy. Take it easy, Josie, I thought to myself. The last thing you need right now is a ticket. I eased off the gas a little, but my grip on the wheel tightened. How dare he lead me on like that?! It's nothing...it's nothing...sure it's nothing. You just walk around shirtless. I growled to myself, imagining what pressure points I could've hit.
I wouldn't punch Chris in front of Lena--but if he pulled anything at school tomorrow, oh man...
I woke up a little late the next morning where there was just half an hour to go. I realized I was in the same red tank top and dark green mini skirt. I got so mad, that I threw them off and I sat on my bed, crying. Wiping my tears off, I grabbed on a jeans and a top. How dare he do that to me? Why didn't he tell me before he liked Josie? I mean, we were fucking in the middle of the night! And then, he comes and ditches me for Josie.
I grab my bag, and dump in just any book I get on my hand. I don't follow the schedule or anything, and grab my phone. I should have called Ave 4000 times to tell her what happened but she just wouldn't bulge to get the call. I take my phone, and look through it to see texts and miscalls from Chris. Obviously, I heard the calls that I purposely didn't pick them up because I didn't feel like talking to him.
I've decided to stay out of Chris's way. let alone Josie have him. I'm going to go talk to Josie today, make things alright. Maybe Chris and Josie do go well and he surely likes her more than me. I mean, she's pretty, athletic, build, tall and everything else for a guy like Chris could like. On the other side, I'm no girl that he can like.
I sighed, and sniffed a little. Vivienne called me up. I groaned. Now, I had to hear more of her lectures!
"Hello?" I start.
"What the fuck did I tell you? Now, you got yourself blasted by him, didn't you?" Vivienne screams through the phone and I just close my eyes.
"How did you know?" I ask.
"Isn't it a little obvious? I mean, everyone's talking about it in school. You guys were making out when Josie saw you two and she got mad and stormed off."
Vivienne knows a little too much and I sigh. I open the door and get into my car. "I'm done with him."
"Thank God, Lena. You deserve a guy who really likes you, not someone who ditches you."
"I don't think I can get a perfect guy anymore, Viv. The ones I know are either booked or ditching me. I'm no girl for this business."
"Just come fast. Classes start in 10 minutes. We'll talk there." Viv says, and cuts the phone.
I reach school and see people looking at me and this time, not for the trouble I made. That Lena John Chrystal was just dumped by a swimmer dude who happens to like an athletic girl. I walk in fast through the halls and see Josie.
I brighten up a little and I see her looking at a seat kind of map thing. Probably based on baseball. I walk to her and I see her frowning at me.
"Hey." I say, slowly.
"Where's your boyfriend? Busy taking his shirts off?" Josie snaps back and walks away, but I follow her.
"I'm sorry for what happened last night. Josie. Just listen to me for a second."
She turns to me, with her hands on her hip. "What?"
"Josie... Chris told me he likes you. Really. He said, he finds you so mesmerizing and you're the best girl he's met in ages!" I said, lying through my teeth.
"Pfft. Yeah right." she says, shaking her head.
"I'm not lying! Chris really likes you. You've mistaken us. Ask Avery and Will. I came there to see a movie with him. Its not what you think."
Josie changed her expression, and sighed. Well, I did manage to convince her that there's nothing between us. I guess this is the best for Chris. I look at her hopefully.
"I'll think about it." Josie says, and walks off and I hurry to my first class - English.
Allen
Avery sits down on the bed and I explain things to her. She seems a little convinced and then, we talked for 10 minutes more, when she had to leave. She got up.
"I got to go. Will's waiting for me in the drawing room." Avery says, with a little smile.
I frown a little, but smile back. "Alright. How are things between you and Will?"
"Great. Awesome." she says, and ends up with that.
"Nice... Anyway, you takecare, okay?" I say. I bend down to her and kiss her, my hands around her waist. I pull her close, and she has her hands on my shoulder. I rub my hands on the side of the waist. We pull away, at last.
Avery turns red in seconds and looks at me, startled. Oh, great! I just did something really stupid. But I couldn't resist it. Her soft cheeks and her beautiful eyes were the world to me. I grinned a little, and she shook her head. I came out with, close behind her.
I saw Will standing in front of us, and he looked worried. Probably wondering what happened between us and if he would loose Ave. Will extended a hand, and Avery took it, and looked back at me, one last time. Then, they left, leaving me behind. I saw Carly kissing some random dude and I rolled my eyes. Freshmen's.
I got out of the house, and went back home. My sister still watching "Castle" at the late night.
"Go to sleep, Andy." I said. She was a freshmen too.
Expecting to hear an argument, I stopped but she didn't say anything. I looked over to the couch but she wasn't there. Where was she with the television on? I went to her room, just to find a guy naked on her bend, kissing Andy's boobs.
"What the fuck is happening here?" I yelled.
Andy got up, and I switched on the lights. She was on the bed with another guy, naked. What was she up to? Trying to get a baby? Loosing her virginity at this time of the world?!
She got up. "Y-You're back so fast?"
"Honey, I thought your brother was cool." he said, totally ignoring me.
I caught on to his shirt, and dragged him outside. I threw him out of the house, smacking the door behind him. I turned to Andy, furious but didn't say anything or she would start that even I had sex during her age. I slam the door to my room, and go on FB and set my status to :- "Imagine your sister fucking with a dude in your house. Yeah, it happened to me this night. -.-"

I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.
Swim practice cleared my head a bit. Coach worked us hard, and it was what I needed. I sped down the lane, my butterfly so fast that I passed the other guys in my lane several times. I loved the feeling of rising out of the water, taking a deep breath and plunging back in again. Practice was over before I felt like it had even started.
"Alright guys, we've got our first meet in two weeks. It's my job to make sure you beat those private school wimps," coach lectured. "Right now, I'm disappointed in all of you. Except you, McKenzie. I half-expected you to fly out of the water with how fast your butterfly was."
"Thanks, coach," I smiled weakly.
"That's why you're going to be in charge of drills on Friday," he announced proudly. "Not only are you captain, you're the fastest one on the team! You all could learn from him."
We headed into the locker room, several of the guys giving me glares. Once inside, I grabbed my towel and quickly threw off my swim gear, wrapping the towel around my waist before taking off my suit.
"I heard you banged Lena last night in front of Josie, how'd it go?" Peter, one of the cockiest guys on the team, said loudly.
I sighed. "We didn't have sex and nothing happened in front of Josie, alright? You're getting the story confused."
"Then what happened, Romeo?" he sneered.
"I don't want to talk about it."
He and a few of the other boys laughed mockingly. "You probably fucked up big time! How are we supposed to take orders from you? You got wasted on Tuesday night, rejected by two girls last night, what's next? Personally, I think you shouldn't be captain-"
He was cut off when I whirled around and pinned him to the lockers. "Shut your fucking mouth. You don't know what happened, so stop pretending!"
His eyes narrowed. "Who's the one pretending here? You act like you've got it all put together, but you start off junior year like this?"
I raised my fist as though to punch him, but I stopped. Even though he was a cocky smartass, he was right. I needed to get stuff straightened out. I let him go, got changed, and ran out.
*****
Neither Josie nor Lena had spoken to me, but Lena seemed the most angry. I didn't blame either of them; I was a jerk, and I should've been honest from the beginning. I had called both of them all through the night, hoping they'd listen and I could explain, but that was stupid. Of course they wouldn't answer after that. But I was going to make things right.
I stood in the middle of the cafeteria, guitar in one hand, song and note sheet in the other. I had ditched class to get my guitar, and spent the rest of the morning writing this song. Lunch was just about to start, and I knew they'd be here any minute now. My stomach was in knots, knowing that I was about to publicly humiliate myself (again), but I knew that I had to do it.
The freshman in the AV club that I had bribed returned, mic stand and amp in tow.
"Thanks kid, I appreciate it," I said as he set up.
He nodded. "Are you doing this to ask some girl to Homecoming or something?"
"More like an apology."
"No offense, but that's dumb. Why not just apologise?" he asked.
"Things are kind of complicated," I shrugged.
"Whatever. Five bucks," he demanded, holding his hand out.
I slipped him the bill and he ran out happily. I started practicing chords when the lunch bell rang. Perfect. People began filing in slowly, many of them giving me stares, some of them whispering excitedly. I watched Josie sit down at her usual table and Lena make her way to her own table. My stomach had serious butterflies. Will and Avery waved and smiled discreetly at me. They had been in on it the whole time.
"Hey guys," I said into the microphone. "I'm Chris McKenzie. I know you guys have heard some rumours about me lately, and I want to first apologise to everyone. I haven't been acting like myself much, and I'm sorry. Next, I'd like to apologise to Lena and Josie. I think this will explain everything."
I begin to play the song I wrote, knowing that everyone in the cafeteria was staring at me now. I saw both Lena an Josie look at each other, then back up at me, looking confused.
" I met two girls the other day, one daring, bold, one tall and strong, My heart had never felt that way, I fell for both, though it was wrong.
So what was I supposed to do? Two pretty girls had my heart.
So what was I supposed to do? One loved sports, one loved art.
I made a mistake, But no turning back, The blame I take, For what I lack.
I'm sorry for what happened, I should've told the truth When I had the chance and I know this song isn't very smooth, But I wanted to say, I'm so sorry. "
I waited with baited breath for their reaction.
Spoiler
I'm sorry for the awful song XD I know it's cheesy, I typed it fast
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!
I couldn't handle the glares any longer. I ran into the bathroom, sliding into a stall. Taking a few deep breaths, shutting my eyes, I calmed down. Opening them, I saw words in red scrawled on the wall.
Jane is a slut A whore Allen downgraded Uh
Even though I had just joined this school, people already hated me. Jesus Christ. I sat down on the cold tiled floor and waited. Waited for... I don't even know. The bell rang through the school and I knew girls would start running into here.
Right on cue, I heard people slam stall doors and saw them stand in line.
"You heard what Chris did to Josie? Such a jerk. Why would Lena ruin her friendship for him?" one of them said.
"Guys, I'm right here. I don't want to hear it." another one said.
"Sorry Josie, I just can't believe it."
"Me either," she whispered.
I looked at the wall again. There was a name written in bold black letters, Chris. A list was under the name: Jerk, Two Timer, Womanizer.
Lena is a whore. Backstabbing bitch.
Oh God. These people. These people were just cruel. I need beer.
Opening the stall door, I had fury running through my veins. I was like a killer, but to rumors and shit-talk. They looked rather normal, not too dressy and not too tom-boyish.
They stared at me in shock and started to whisper. Walking to the sinks, I washed my hands and splashed water on my face. I looked at myself, I looked good but pretty mad. My eyes were burning with anger, it was scary.
I turned around and faced the girls. My heart was racing. "Spit it out!" I yelled. "Stop whispering about me! Just tell me to my face!" I added on. "Come on! What are you, scared?!"
I was about to cry. Sorry, but I do tend to cry in situations like this. But I held it in, taking deep breaths.
Oh yes, they were stunned.
"And that Lena girl. Why would you just spread rumors about her? I'm sure they aren't true." I hissed.
"Oh, don't butt into things you don't know about slut. That girl was my best friend and she blew a guy I love." One girl, built and strong said to me.
"Why would you call me a slut if you don't know me?"
She glared at me, pushing past me and the other girls. I followed after, reaching the hallway. It was packed with people but I still knew where she was.
"Hey! I asked you a question!" I yelled down the hall.
Everyone looked at me and then at her. Turning on her heel, she smiled.
"Don't yell, Whoever you're talking to probably left."
"So you're saying you left? You're right there! Tell me why did you call me a slut if you don't know me?"
Now everyone fell silent. Even she looked scared.
William Franco
What Chris did was nice. But cheesy. Like he could have done anything else, they were both ignoring him. Ave thought it was sweet.
"Chris," I walked up to him.
"Hey, do you think they will forgive me?"
"I don't know. You like them both." I sighed.
Setting down his guitar on the stand, he got off the stage and looked for the girls. I saw them walk out of the lunch room.
He looked dissapointed, but still followed after.
"Chris," I called out. He turned around and looked at me. "Give them some time to talk this over, to think about it. Okay?"
"Shouldn't I be there with them?"
Shaking my head, he came back to me and Avery. Everyone in the lunch room clapped for him performance and smiled from ear to ear. I guess they enjoyed some sort of entertainment during lunch hour.
"I though it was nice of you Chris, really." Ave smiled, holding my hand.
"Thanks," Chris put on a weak smile.
That's when some yelling came into ear shot. Some people turned their heads to the hallway. Two girls were arguing. One I recognized as Josie and the other as Allen's fuck buddy.
"Isn't that Jane?" Avery asked.
That's her name.
"And Josie?" Chris was alarmed.
"If I look like a monster,' he says roughly, 'then no one will be surprised when I do monstrous things." - A.B. Poranek
My heart sank a bit when I heard that they left, but I hoped that they'd think it over. On the other hand, people seemed to like it and complimented me as I walked over to Avery and Will. People suddenly ran to the door, and I heard shouts down the hall.
"Isn't that Jane?" Avery asked.
"And Josie?" I said, a lump in my throat.
I threw open the door to see them about four feet from each other, shouting insults.
"Don't call me a slut when you don't know me," Jane said. "And don't call that Lena girl a slut either. Did you take the time to hear the actual story or are you just listening to rumours?"
Josie looked taken back at Jane's boldness. "You have no idea what it's like. Especially after what you did to Avery's boyfriend. How are you going to criticise me?"
Jane took a step closer to her. "I'm just saying that you shouldn't call people names when you don't fucking know the story!"
Josie's eyes widened and she lunged towards Jane, and before I knew what I was doing, I pulled Jane back, causing Josie to hit nothing but air.
"Stop!" I said, shoving Jane behind me.
"Get out of the way, Chris," she glared at me. "I don't mind hitting you either."
"Go ahead," I said. "I was a jerk last night anyways, so I guess I deserve it. But I'm not going to let you hurt someone else."
I will review for you! PM about it if you need one!
Sorry for the mega post, guys. Nike, hope you don't mind that I gave Josie's friends a few lines.
Josie
I walked out of the cafeteria with Lena, letting her lead the way. "Listen, Lena," I said, trying not to let my anger show in my voice. "I didn't mean to snap at you this morning. I'm not mad at you--I'm mad at Chris, for leading me on, and lying, and then going after me right in front of you--"
"Okay," Lena said. "I'm going to go...take a walk...see you later."
"See you," I replied. I walked off toward the bathroom, where Maya and Becca were waiting for me.
"Wasn't that the cheesiest song ever?" Maya chuckled. "Wow. He is really desperate."
"Don't remind me," I muttered. I went and washed my hands, even though I didn't need to.
"Becca, did you hear what Chris did to Josie?" Maya continued. "Such a jerk. And why would Lena ruin their friendship for him?"
"Guys, I'm right here," I said. "I don't want to hear it."
"Sorry, Josie," Maya remarked. "I just can't believe it."
"Yeah, me either," I muttered.
Then a small girl came out of a stall, and started washing her hands. Had she heard all that?
"Isn't she that freshman chick who did Allen?" Becca whispered to me.
The little freshman spun around and glared at Becca. "Spit it out!" she snapped. "Stop whispering about me! Just tell me to my face! Come on! What, are you scared?!" Becca's jaw dropped.
"And that Lena girl," the froshie continued. "Why would you just spread rumors about her? I'm sure they aren't true."
"Oh, don't butt into things you don't know about, slut," Maya spat. "That girl was Josie's best friend, and she blew a guy she loved!"
"Why would you call me a slut if you don't know me?" the frosh demanded. Maya was about to snap back at her, but I grabbed her arm and pulled her out into the hallway. Maya wasn't huge, but she had at least twenty pounds on the freshman. That would be an ugly fight.
"Hey!" the freshman yelled after us. "I asked you a question!"
"Don't yell!" I shouted back, eager to get away from her. "Whoever you're talking to probably left."
"So you're saying you guys left? You're right there! Tell me why you called me a slut if you don't know me!"
I turned around to face the froshie, but she wasn't done ranting yet. "Don't call me a slut when you don't know me," she spat. "And don't call that Lena girl a slut either. Did you take the time to hear the actual story, or are you just listening to rumors?"
"Hello?!" I snapped back. "I was there! You have no idea what that's like! Especially after what you did to Ave and Allen! Who are you to criticize me?"
Froshie stepped forward, but standing at her full height, she was at least a head shorter than me. "I'm just saying that you shouldn't call people names when you don't know the fucking story!"
I reacted reflexively, and threw a punch. But suddenly, she wasn't there--Chris had yanked her out of the way. "Stop!" he shouted.
I was in no mood to deal with Chris right then. "Get out of the way, Chris," I spat. "I don't mind hitting you, either."
"Go ahead," Chris said. "I was a jerk last night anyway, so I guess I deserve it. But I'm not going to let you hurt someone else."
I looked at Jane, who was still behind Chris. I suppose he did have a point--the frosh was way too small for me to hit.
Instead, I just shrugged, turned away slightly--and then spun around and clocked Chris with a vicious right hook. He hit the ground with a rather satisfying thud. I turned and walked away, ignoring the stares of the crowd that had showed up to watch. I had to admit it--I felt a lot better now.
