After a couple minutes of running, I looked around the gym. Empty.

"We're closing," a guy said to me in a grey uniform.

"Alright, thanks." I smiled.

I always went to the gym for at least two hours everyday. It was a good workout especially since I wanted to join the soccer team this year.

Hopping off the treadmill, I grabbed my towel. I wiped off the sweat from my face and headed toward the exit. As I opened the door, I saw Chris talking to some man who was trying to break into a car.

"Hey, take it easy." he gulped.

The man was holding a pistol. He couldn't see me since I was standing in a dark shadow. The lights were out all over the gym premises. I clicked a button that was hanging off my headphones and whispered '911'.

"Hello, what is your emergency?" a lady asked.

I ducked down so I could be under the stairs. Chris and the guy were in the parking lot which was just a few feet away, they didn't bother to look my way since the gym was closed.

"I'm at Great Fitness and there is a man with a pistol. He's about to shoot my friend." I whispered.

"Can you give me the address of your location and description of the shooter?"

"It's thirty-one-sixty-eight West Belmont Street. The man had a black hoodie on, Caucasian, and black hair." Luckily I could see his face.

"I'll put you on hold."

"Seriously?!" I hissed into the phone.

I thought that they should help not put you on hold. God dammit.

I slid my phone into my pocket and took out my army knife. Yes, that is a weird thing to be carrying around with you to the gym, but I need to protect myself. I've been carrying this since I was ten.

Running toward them, I knew I was at risk of getting shot, or even killed. But I had to save Chris.

"Put your weapon down!" I yelled, showing him my knife.

He pulled the trigger, ready to shoot me.

"Police!" I yelled, pulling out my ID. Like you could see it in the dark anyway.

"You look too young to be a police man." he chuckled.

Stopping, I stood next to Chris and saw just how frightened he was. He was pale white, like a vampire and his eyes were wide. What was he doing here anyway?

"Put the pistol down." I demanded.

"Sir? Hello?" I heard a faint voice.

My pocket! The phone! I stood close enough to Chris to slid the phone into his hands. The guy couldn't see us that well, it was dark. The only way he could really see the transfer was if he would lower his flashlight. It's glaring into my eyes.

"Put down your weapon!" I yelled louder, looking at Chris.

Come on. If you yell that you're in danger, she'll hear you.

"Put down your pistol! We didn't do anything!" he yelled.

"Ha-ha. You caught me robbing a car! I need to shut you up!" he laughed.

My heart was racing. I didn't know what I was doing but I was doing it. It was eleven o'clock at night, of course he would rob now.

"You are robbing a car and planning to kill us for seeing that happen?" I yelled.

Another muffled noise came from Chris's hand. "We are on our way. Do not hang up."

Spoiler
I don't know what to write for Jane. She's unconscious, she fainted.

My cousin had showed me his dad's gun once, and I remember a shiver running down my spine when he aimed it at me and pretended to shoot, even though we were kids and the gun wasn't loaded. Having someone actually aim a loaded gun at me made me so scared I couldn't even move.

"I can't have witnesses," the man chuckled. "Now put you hands on your head and backs against the car or I'll shoot."

I instinctively backed up against the car and slid the phone in my pocket but Will stayed where he was, knife still in his hand.

"Backs against the car!" the man hissed.

Will just stood there glaring at the man.

"Please dude," I whispered.

"BACK AGAINST THE CAR!" the man shouted, firing a warning shot in the air.

The shot made me flinch, thinking that he had actually aimed it at us. The man laughed at my reaction.

"Are you scared?" he mocked. "Don't be a pussy kid.". He turned back to Will. "I'm not going to say it again. Back. Against. The car."

Will frowned, and moved to the back of the car but held onto the knife.

"Now drop the knife," the man said, exasperated.

Will made as though he was going to drop it but threw it at the last minute, hitting the guy in the shoulder. The guy screamed and grabbed his shoulder aiming the gun with his right hand. He shot repeated rounds.

I'd just pulled into the gym parking lot when I heard shouting and gun shots. What the hell is going on? I jump out of my car and run towards the racket and find two guys on the ground and another kneeling. I recognized one of them from school.

"Hey!" I call out. " Is everyone ok?"

"Help!" he shouts. "My friend was shot."

I drop down beside him and roll over come to realize I know him too. "What happened?"

"This guy was trying to break into a car and we caught him. He pulled a gun out and things just went from bad to worse." he answered.

"And now another person has to die." a gruff voice behind me said.

I turn around to see a man aiming a gun at my face. Are you fucking kidding me!? My hand shot out and i snapped his wrist. He howled in pain and tried to hit me. I broke his arm.

"You little bitch!" he shouted.

"Aw," I punched him in the face. "is that anyway to treat a lady?"

He tried to spit at me, but i guess his aim was off. I grabbed the gun where it had clattered to on the ground and visciously pistol whipped him. He was out like nobody's buisness. Police sirens sounded in he background as I turned back to the injured boy.

"Its nothing serious." I lean closer. "he probably has a broken clavicle since it was a through and through."

Police cars pulled up beside us as an ambulance pulled in. I walked over to he paramedice and showed them where the wound was. They loaded the injured boy in and drove off. Now I have to deal with the cops. Yay.

Finally got a new computer! So excited!

@Nike: Sunshine the rescue! It doesn't sound like Jane went anywhere, so I'm starting from there.

Emmett Lopez

When Jane passed out on the floor, I didn't know what to do.

So like the damned coward I am, I just stood there.

Abi screamed, and started saying 'Omigod, omigod, omigod' like it would actually bring God- or at least somebodies god- down and lift Jane off the floor. It finally occured to me that she was talking to much for her own good again, and I was actually growing sick of it. A bell rings behing me, faintly.

Somebody behind me says "Well, we know that bitch is crazy for sure now."

His friend sniggered, and that horrible, raw sound sends me whipping around.

"Obviously, you two are more hypocritical shit than Star Wars."

The two of them blink at me, unsure if I'd just just injulted them or not. Obviously not up to any intelligence par. I turn back to a passed out Jane and a now-leaning over her Abi.

"Omigosh, She's breathing." Abi says, intelligence of a future Marine Biologist drowning out the shallow fear fairly well. "Can you carry her?"

I don't answer, just reach down and grab Jane, hauling her up into my arms. She's not very heavy- a pretty general wisp of a girl- but I'm not very strong either. With a little determination- and more than a little 'you're an idiot, Emmett Lopez'- I began my journey to the Nurse's office with little Abi scurrying after me.

XxXxXxXxXxX

She's had sex. With Allen. She was drunk. By the looks of it, multiple times. A drunkard. She's probably a... a... whore. Egotistical bitch. Bad influence. Terrible person. Screwed-up artist. Addicted to wrong crowds... Trust issues.

But no matter how many times I insult her in my head, I can't belive a word of it.

Holy crap.

Well, I kinda can. Mostly. Besides the 'whore' and 'egotistical' parts, I mean. just refuse to believe it, to accept it without logical reason. Like Lacey's pregnancy. Which means... I care. Why the hell do I care?

The Nurse's office is quiet besides the grouchy old, a mostly sleeping Jane, and my thoughts. Abi waltzed out after the words 'You two can leave now' fell from the nurse's ancient lips. I couldn't do it. Guilt. Guiltguiltguiltguiltguilt. All I can think about. I cared about what Abi thought of me, but that doesn't mean I had to agree with every word because... I'm afraid of letting people know my image is less than average and pristine. I'm just as bad as the rest of them. Shallow twits. Unintelligent Lackey's. Hateful towards that which they don't understand.

"Emmett? Oh shit, you agin?"

Guiltguiltguiltguiltguilt. For a second, I don't want to turn around and look at her, because I know I won't be able to look away, to just go back to my thoughts. The safe refuge of Emmett- land.

Ah, but I'm done being a coward, aren't I?

I turn around, gve her another weak-not realy real smile. "Hi Jane. Need a ride?"
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

I wake up and check my watch, school doesn't start for twenty more minutes. I get up and shove my jacket into my bag. I hide my stuff in a clump of weeds in the garden and pull out my toothbrush and toothpaste and shove them into my pocket. I grab a change of clothes and walk into the building. I enter the nearest bathroom and get ready for the day. When I come out a few people are walking in the building already. I sneak out and put my stuff back in the garden. I go back inside and head to class. No one even notices that I came from the garden. At lunch today, I'm going to find Luna, I need to talk to her.

I didn't sleep at all last night. I was too worried about Carly. I hope she's alright. I mean, I know she can take care of herself, she's always had to, but she could be anywhere. I hope she comes to school today, so I can make sure she's alright and stayed safe last night. I haven't heard from her since she left. It's quite scary when the one you love, who is also your best friend, disappears and you don't know what will happen. Although, it was also quite scary when she was in that house. When I first get to school, I'm nervous because I don't see her for a while. She's always the first one here, the three of us always are. Lauren and I sit patiently and wait. I'm starting to freak out, but after a while I am relieved to see her walk in. "Carly!" I say with relief as I run over to hug her. She is obviously deep in thought about something much more important though. I wonder what.

I woke up to bright florecent lights, quick breating, and Emmett Lopez.

"Emmett? You again?" I asked.

"Hi Jane. Need a ride home?" he shot a question back.

I tried to sit up, pushing up against my elbows. He helped me out and now I could look at him without feeling like Sleeping Beauty.

"What happened?"

"Well," he took a deep breath. "When you were yelling... and contemplating, you sorta blacked out. You fainted Jane. And I helped you to the nurses office."

"Why?"

This room made me disgusted. It reminded me of the time I landed in the hospital for breaking my wrist. The smell of chemicals and sterile air. The bleach walls and pictures of 'Get Well Soon' on the walls.

"Why what?" he looked confused.

"Why did you help me?" I looked him straight in the eye. Those chocolate eyes again.

"Why wouldn't I help you?"

"Don't just ask me a question! Answer mine. Why did you help me?" God did I want to punch him for his stupidity.

"You fainted. I wouldn't just leave you on the floor."

"Everyone else would." I said weakly.

It was true though. This wasn't the first time I blacked out. I have a history of these things, it's not the best but I do.

He licked his lips, "That's not true." I could see the disbelief in his eyes.

"Sorry to burst your bubble, but it is." I hissed.

We stayed silent for a while, just looking at each other. It was kind of weird. But at the same time, not really. I just couldn't believe he would help such a drunkass bitch like me. All I did was, well, burst his bubble every time he blew one out.

"I care Jane." he blurted out. "I care. I'm sorry if you've never had that before, but I do. And I saw you on the ground, all still. It was horrible. Yes, people laughed because they are idiots who love to see fights and maniac girls have a meltdown."

His face got scared as he reconsidered what he had just said. "I mean, you're not a maniac girl, it's just that they..." I cut him off. "I am."

Once he shut up, I went on. "I am a maniac girl. This isn't the first time I fainted."

I didn't know why I just said that. And to him! I don't know! Maybe it's his trusting eyes, or caring smile. I just don't know.

"I sadly have a history of panic attacks gone wrong." I looked at my hands as I lied on the very uncomfortable gurney.

All he did is look at me in, yet again, disbelief.

William Franco

I. Got. Shot. OhmyGod. IGotShot.

There was this stinging pain running down my shoulder to my hand. It hurt so bad that I could imagine someone stabbing me with an axe every second. Stab. Stab. Stab.

I shut my eyes, cringing my face, hoping that the pain would fade off soon. I heard something going on, but I just couldn't identify it. I held onto my shoulder, trying to release the horrible agonizing pain.

"He got shot!" I heard someone say.

"What are we gonna..." and that's when I past out.

Bullets started whizzing past our heads, until I finally heard the sick thud Of a bullet hitting flesh. At first I think it's me, but when I turn I see that Will was shot in the shoulder. I touched it gingerly and found my hand soaked in blood. I could see it beginning to seep through his shirt already.

"Will," I groaned, my heart racing with fear.

He began to slowly fall forward, trying not to lose unconsciousness but slowly passing out. I lowered him to the ground gently, my hands shaking so badly I almost couldn't do it.

"Hey, is everything okay?" a girl asked, running up to us.

"Help! My friend was shot!" I shouted.

She stopped next to me and turned Will from his side onto his back. I was about to cry again, and I dug my nails into the palms of my hand until the urge went away.

"What happened?"

I cleared my throat before telling her but I could barely talk I was so choked up. I heard a sudden click and a low chuckle.

"And now another person has to die," the man laughed.

I bowed my head, waiting for him to shoot us both, but it never happened. I looked up to see the girl actually fighting the man and winning. A faint siren could be heard in the distance. Yes! The police and medics were here.

"It's okay Will, we're right here," I whispered even though he had passed out a long time ago. "I'll ride with you and I'll make sure Ave knows."

The medics ran over and pushed me aside, immediately getting him onto a stretcher and rushing him into the ambulance. When I try to get in, they block me.

"I'm sorry sir, you'll after to drive to the hospital on your own," one of them said mechanically.

"This is one of my best friends," I growled. "Let me on or so help me God you'll be on the stretcher next to him."

With a sigh, the man let me in the ambulance and we sped off for the hospital. I sent a quick text to Ave.

Meet me at the hospital. There's been an accident.

"Well..." Ave started and I smiled, eagerly waiting to hear when she got a text. Linnie and I frowned.

"Lena! Its from Chris!" Ave squeaked.

I rolled my eyes. "Not asking you to convince me, right?"

And no. It wasn't. Ave saw the text and for a minute, she looked like her face and body was going to tear. She screened the text to me and Linnie, and my eyes-widened. Wait. Wait. Accident? Who got hurt? Oh my god!

I put a hand on Ave's shoulder. "Relax. It might not be what you think, love."

She looked back at me, sniffing. "Why do you think Chris texted me, then?"

Well, she's got a point there.

"Don't let things run your mind. We don't even know what's happened!" I say, trying to comfort her. "Let's go, now. Don't want to be late."

We ran down the stairs but Linnie had to go because she had to see one of her friends. Me and Avery speeded up to the hospital and no time we reached, to see Chris.

Avery practically flew into my arms, nearly in tears.

"What happened? Who's hurt? Please tell me it's not Will!" she said quickly.

I took a deep breath. "I had gone to the gym to workout, and when I went out into the parking lot, I caught a man trying to break into a car. I told him to stop, and he pulled a gun on me. Will came over, and he had a knife. He called 911, but when he hit the guy in the shoulder with the knife, he freaked out and started shooting everywhere and... Will got hurt."

I almost couldn't say those last few words. Avery was already sobbing, and Lena was holding her, tears starting to form in her own eyes.

"Oh my God," Avery cried. She started to run into the hospital and we ran after her.

"Where did it hit him?" Lena asked as we ran.

"Right shoulder. The biggest problem is how much it will bleed because of the severed artery," I explained.

"Hi, my boyfriend is Will Franco, he was admitted for a gunshot wound. Where can I find him?" Avery asked the lady at the desk sweetly.

"I'm sorry miss, but you can't go see him," the woman said, not looking up from her computer.

"You tell me where Will is!" Avery shouted. She attempted to jump over the desk to get at the woman, but I grabbed her by the waist and held her back.

"He's in surgery! You can see him when he gets out!" she replies, flustered.

The three of us sat down in the waiting chairs, Ave sitting between Lena and I, silently sobbing.

"He'll be okay," I murmured, patting her hand.

Truthfully, I had no idea of he'd be okay. But I hoped he would, the girl from earlier said he would, so maybe he would.

"I just want to see him and tell him I love him," Avery whispered, closing her eyes.

"I know," Lena said, putting an arm around her.

"Hey, how's your friend?" a familiar voice said from behind me.

It was the girl from earlier. She held a small bouquet of white roses, presumably for Will.

"He's in surgery," I said to her. "Guys, this girl saved my life back there. She took out the guy with the gun."

Right shoulder, bleeding could be worse because of the severed artery. All of this sounded so horrible and Ave couldn't hold back her shock, and head was on my shoulder, and I had my arm around her. She cried and sobbed.

A girl came in with a small bouquet of white roses. She walked towards us. I wondered if those white roses were for Will...

"Hey, how's your friend?" she asked, worried.

"He's in surgery. Guys, this girl saved my life back there. She took our the guy with the gun." Chris said, with a slight appreciating voice.

Ave frowned a little by the look of those white roses. Probably thinking that she didn't get anything for Will. She looked at me, then burrowed her head.

"Hey." I said to her. "Thanks for helping Will out. Ave and I really appreciate it."

"No problem." she said. "I'm Luna, by the way."

She seemed nice to me. I nudge Ave, but she didn't want to talk. I gave a sly smile. "I'm Lena, and this is Avery."

"Nice to meet the two of you." she said, and narrowed her eyes to Ave. She dropped a hand on her shoulder. "You okay?"

"No..." Ave said.

"Don't worry, it'll be alright. I understand you're really worried about him." Luna spoke.

"Ave is Will's girlfriend." Chris pronounced, and he looked at me for a second.

Weird.

"I noticed." Luna said, taking a seat.

Once I opened my eyes, everything was blurry to me. I had to blink a couple of times to see that I am in a hospital room. Tacky pictures of flowers and bleach white walls, making sure I was depressed. I hated anything medical, it frightened me.

I looked around the room, spotting a TV in the corner and two lounge chairs on the left of my bed. On the right was an IV and a cabinet full of special utensils for nurses or doctors.

I felt a button under my finger and looked on the side of my bed. A 'call nurse' button. Clicking it, I heard a faint beep.

The door to the room opened and in came a red head nurse with blue scrubs on. She looked like she was just running, her hair loose in her ponytail.

"You're awake, I'll go tell Doctor Yesensky." she smiled, perfect white teeth.

I just smiled weakly as she sped off, leaving the door open. I heard some faint noises coming from people. They were talking about something pretty loudly actually. Just a second after, I saw my best friends run into the room, falling over me in one great hug.

"Oh Jesus, hug attack." I said under Avery's hair.

We all laughed as they pulled away from me.

"At least you're okay. That's all that matters man, I was scared shit-less." Chris said.

I smiled again, feeling a bit tired. My head kind of hurt, but that was from the medicine.

"When I heard about what happened, I ran to you. They wouldn't let me through because you were in surgery. God Will, I didn't care! I wanted to see you so bad. I was waiting for at least two hours." Avery smiled, tears still rolling down her face.

"Ave, stop crying. I'm alright." I smiled, patting the bed so she would lay down next to me.

Chris and Lena stood in front of the bed, quite a distance apart. It was kind of awkward. They didn't even look at each other for a second. But they were looking at me. Probably happy that I'm alive. Or arguing if they should talk to each other or not... I will never know.

Avery took my invitation and lied down on the bed. I scooted over so we would both fit. I slid my arm over her shoulder and she rested her head on my chest, avoiding the bullet wound.

It was nice to have them here, with me. You know?

Then, just a beat later, another girl came in. I didn't recognize her, but when Chris turned around, she smiled. I guess they know each other fairly well, and by the look on Lena's face, it might be oh too well.

"Luna, this is Will." he said.

"Will, this is Luna. The girl who beat up the robber." he smiled.

Wait... what?

"Yeah, no big deal... I just saw you guys were in danger and beat him up." she said shyly. I noticed that she was holding a bouquet of flowers.

"No big deal?" I asked. "Yeah! You stopped a robber. You smashed his face! It's a hard thing to do for a girl." Chris added.

"Oh really, it's nothing." she blushed.

As soon as the nurse told us where Will was and that we could see him, Avery was off and running. She ran up the stairs to the second floor almost before we were out of our seats. When we got to Will's room, she was already there with him, hugging him tightly. Lena and I joined the hug, but Luna hung back a bit.

"Hug attack," he laughed.

"At least you're okay," I said. "That's all that matters man. I was scared shit-less."

Avery started crying again, telling Will how scared she was. I looked over at Lena. I really wanted to say something, but I knew I shouldn't. At least she was here. It was awkward, but it was a start. Luna cleared her throat behind me and I remembered that she was there.

"Luna, this is Will. Will, this is Luna, the girl who beat up the robber," I said, smiling.

"Yeah, no big deal... I just saw you guys were in danger and beat him up," she said modestly.

"No big deal?" Will asked.

"Yeah! You stopped a robber. You smashed his face! It's a hard thing to do for a girl," I said.

She promptly blushed. "Oh really, it's nothing."

I shook my head. "No, if you hadn't done that we'd both have been shot. Even I don't have the guts to take out a full grown man."

"That's amazing," Avery murmured. "Thank you for helping them."

"No problem," Luna smiled. "These are for you, Will."

She showed him the flowers and put them on the table next to him.

"Thanks," he smiled.

There was a sharp knock on the door and a doctor stepped in. "Oh, hello. If you folks wouldn't mind stepping into the hallways for a minute..."

"No problem."

We all left the room and went into the hall, sitting in the chairs that lined the wall. Lena sat next to me, silent and seeming worried.

"What's on you mind?" I asked her.

We all gave in a huge hug to Will. I was happy he was finally awake after 2 hours of waiting. Ave didn't want to leave and I completely understood her. I was beside her for the whole of 2 hours. After all, she was my best friend and I had to be there for her.

After the crying and everything else between Will and Avery, Luna came in, flashing a smile. Chris instantly introduced her to Will, who seemed to not remember anything of that sort.

"Luna, this is Will. Will, this is Luna, the girl who beat up the robber," Chris said, smiling. I bet he liked her.

"Yeah, no big deal... I just saw you guys were in danger and beat him up," she said, humbly.

"No big deal?" Will asked.

"Yeah! You stopped a robber. You smashed his face! It's a hard thing to do for a girl," Chris exclaimed.

Luna blushed a little. Getting compliments from two hot guys were pretty much a golden chance. "Oh really, it's nothing."

. "No, if you hadn't done that we'd both have been shot. Even I don't have the guts to take out a full grown man." Chris said, slyly.

"That's amazing," Avery murmured. "Thank you for helping them."

"No problem," Luna spoke. "These are for you, Will."

Luna bought in the white roses, to show Will and put them on the table. She smiled again.

"Thanks." he smiled.

There was a knock on the door and the doctor came in. "Oh, hello. If you folks wouldn't mind stepping into the hallways for a minute..."

"No problem." Chris told him.

We all went outside, and Avery was the last to leave along with Luna. Sheesh, why can't Luna leave them alone even for a split of a second? I sat next to Chris, unknowingly. I don't know what made me do it. I was in deep thoughts about Will. First, the accident. Then, Luna interrupting. Maybe I shouldn't be too pushy. She did save Chris and Will's life after all.

"What's on your mind?" Chris asked me.

"Oh. N-Nothing." I replied.

"Try me."

I couldn't look him in the eye. I just couldn't because I was still mad at him and plus, he's supposed to be with Josie, not me. But I still spoke to him.

"Its Luna."

"What about her?" Chris said.

"Well... You know, it seems Luna likes Will. I'm just afraid if she'll get in the way of Avery." I said, speaking fast, in a low voice. "I mean, she bought roses for him--"

Chris cut me off, apparently a little annoyed. "Lena, how can you say that? She saved our lives! And the roses were for Will so that it made him feel better! You don't go bitching about a girl you just met 2 hours back!"

"I know. I know. But it makes Avery feel bad, you know? The thing that she didn't get anything for Will, after being her girlfriend."

"I think Avery was just plain worried about him. Did you see her? She never left! That's a really sweet thing."

"I just said my opinion." I said, sternly.

I sighed. I was being harsh.

"I'm sorry. I understand what you're getting at, but I doubt she's after Will when she I just met him," I murmured. "I know that Will and Avery love each other anyways, so even if she likes him, nothing will happen."

"That's true," she admitted.

"Why don't we go down to the gift shop with Avery and all get something for Will?"

She nodded and we took Avery downstairs to the gift shop with us. Luna stayed behind.

"What about this teddy bear?" Avery asked, holding up a giant white bear. Get better soon! was scrawled across its chest in red letters.

"It's a little cheesy, but he'll like it just because it's from you," Lena laughed.

"Maybe we should get him his favorite candy," I shrugged. "He has a serious sweet tooth."

"That sounds okay, but we should do something better," Avery said.

"Chris could write him a song," Lena muttered. Ouch.

"That would be good," Avery turned to me and smiled.

I laughed. "I'm hanging up my guitar strings. I don't really want to sing in front of anyone anymore."

Lena

We all were in the gift shop, deciding what to buy for Will. Avery came up with a teddy which read Get Well Soon, but it seemed cheesy. Then, Chris said, to get candy. I was thinking of something outrageous to get him. Something out of our minds. Explore.

"Maybe we should get him his favorite candy," Chris said. "He has a serious sweet tooth."

I chuckled, but no one noticed.

"That sounds okay, but we should do something better." Avery replied.

"Chris could write him a song." I muttered. This couldn't get any stupid.

"That would me good." Avery turned to Chris, giving him a smile.

What? Seriously?

Though, Chris laughed. "I'm hanging up my guitar strings. I don't really want to sing in front of anyone, anymore."

I felt bad, actually. Him giving up on his song writing and guitars. He has a good voice, he just needs to pick in the correct song. Or if he is writing a song, he should pick the correct lyrics for him.

"Aw, that's too sad." Avery said, sighing.

"Maybe you could just sing. We could pick a song together." I said, suggesting. "And buy him a teddy bear or something. Let's get him something he can keep forever."

"Yeah! Chris can sing well, right, Lena?" Avery spoke cheerfully.

"Righ--" But I stopped. No, wait. If I told him that now, it would mean that I still wanted to get back to him. I shut my mouth up.

"No. You guys should sing. Really. Will would love it if you, Ave, sang to him." Chris responded.

"I'll sing too. Like duh! I'll obviously sing for my Willy Boo. But I need someone who can sing better and that's you Chris? Don't you think, Lena?"

I just wished she stopped asking me things. At least, of Chris. I just simply nodded and continued to look for things when something struck my mind.

"Oh my god, you guys!" I said, my eyes-widening for a minute. "Remember that diary of pictures we had during middle school?"

"Yeah..." Avery spoke slowly.

"Well, guess what? I still have em'! AND, we took lots of new ones in high school. We could all give him a digital photo frame, and store all the photos to it. Keep all the good memories!" I said, getting exciting.

"But the digital photo framer dies after long years." Chris said.

Well, he does have a point there.

"Okay, how about make him this little book with all sorts of messages, pictures, things we collected and signs and all those crazy stuff? We'll get a nice little diary or book from here." I said, pointing to the fancy little books on the shelves.
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living.
