Mount Olympus

Tahira

The day had flown by in a blur the next thing I knew I found myself during Gym in front of a straw dummy, something just clicked inside of me and I had my lightning touch going and dark almost black clouds in the sky. I raised my hand into the air and felt so much power in me, I wonder if this was how mom felt as she transformed into a full god.

"Begone, with a thunderclap." I whisper.

I brought my hand down and thunder struck down on the dummy in a continus stream, the dummy was light ablaze as the lightning struck down destroying the dummy entirely. I may not be able to throw lightning but I can command it to destroy me enemies, an entirely new power at my disposal.

Jace

I run my hand over her hair and sigh, "Just... Did I ever tell you about a guy named Alyx?"

Tyler

I sense something happening with my sister and excuse myself from class, not liking the feeling of power emanating from the gymnasium where she is. Upon arriving, my suspicions are confirmed.

The one thing separating us...The one thing that made me different.

I decide to not make this a fight and hang in the background as the rest of the class oohs and ahhs in fright.

Rayah

I nod slowly, opening my eyes. "Yeah," I tell him. "Why?"

Tahira

Thunder finally stops as everyone looks at me and sees the brand new power the Daughter of The Sky Goddess can do now, but I soon felt dizzy, light headed even. The world spun around me as I loss balence and fall, my world blacking out before my vary eyes, maybe I shouldn't have used so much power in one go. Goodnight world.

Jace

I sigh and close my eyes, laying down, "He's not dead, Ray. My brother's alive."

Tyler

I reach Tahira just before she collapses and catch her, shaking my head. Too much power, sister. Scooping her up, I take her out of the gym and into the locker room to set her down.

Rayah

My eyes widen and I look over at him. "A-Are you serious?" I whisper. He nods and I close my eyes, feeling lightheaded. "Is that a good thing?"

Jace

I take a deep breath, "It is...but it's not. I don't know him and he's sick. I can't go back to the two of them until he's all good."

Rayah

I nod and take a deep breath, my eyes still closed. "You can say with me if you don't want to be alone."

Jace

I flash a smile and set my arm underneath her head, holding her close and kissing her forehead, "Just get some rest. You need to feel better."

Rayah

I sigh and flash a smile, looking at him while opening my eyes, "Yeah, I know," I whisper. Someone knocks on my door and they walk in, seeing Jace on the bed with me.

Jesse freezes. "Um, Rayah I have a letter for you," She says. I nod and motion her over.

"Gimme," I whisper. She walks over and gives it to me before walking back out and closing the door behind her.

Jace

That was awkward...

I look at Rayah and kiss her chin, "You going to read it?"

Rayah

I nod, flashing a smile. I open it and see it's an invite to a college. I smile Wide and try not to scream, giving the letter to Jace for him to read it afterwards.

Jace

I read it and smile, looking up at her, "This is the one you wanted to go to, right?"

If she... No. Her future ahead of us. We won't fall out because of the distance. She's not like that.

"That's awesome, Ray," I kiss her and then her forehead.

Rayah

I nod quickly and smile even wider, not wanting to lose my voice more than I have already. I take the note and read it over again, just making sure this was real. "I-I got accepted!" I finally said aloud, squealing. "Ha!" I laughed, trying to hold in my exitement.

Jace

I watch her, smiling, and chuckle when she squeals about getting in. I say nothing, not wanting to ruin the moment for her, and wonder if this was the right time to tell her about my acceptance to Yale. Nah. It's her spotlight. Let her bask in it. Besides, with all the trouble I've caused, I doubt Dad'll let me leave Olympus to go anyway.
