Shipwrecked 2- started-

Will

When Captain Jones called me to the bridge and added "without Lindsey," my face turned bright red. Lindsey laughed. She hugged me goodbye, and I ran up to the bridge, tugging my hat on as I went. Had to look professional for the captain, even if my uniform was still a little damp.

I walked onto the bridge and gave Captain Jones a quick salute. "You wanted to see me, sir?" I said.

Lindsey

Will's face turns bright red and I laugh. I hug him goodbye and he goes. This is the first time in a while that I did not like being alone. I felt completely lost. I walk around the ship aimlessly for a good thirty minutes. Becoming bored I head to my room and hop in the shower.

I go dry my hair and decide to go with the straight look. I straighten it and look in the mirror. I sigh and change into my pajamas and sit in the bed, seeing Will won't be done talking any time soon. I lay down and cover up, quickly falling asleep.

-Captain jones-

We started chatting for a while , when half way through the conversation , will said " How is alysha after the floor and roof collapsed onto her?' , I paused for a moment and said , " I dont know i have not seen her since it happened , can you go check on her for me please?" , will walked off and I walked back into the control room , and continued steering the ship , I turned the radio back on and reported " This is Mocking bird 2 , we have made it through the hurricane and are back on course , jut checking in for a weather report.

Will

I found Alysha back in the auditorium, singing with a bunch of random other people. "Hey!" I called. Alysha waved at me, but kept on singing.

"Your dad says we're back on course," I reported, shouting to be heard over the passengers' atonal warbling. "He's waiting for a weather report! I don't know if our radio equipment was damaged--he didn't say--but I'm guessing it's okay. We still have our Wifi and GPS, so..."

Lindsey

Sunlight pours into my window on the ship. My eyes slowly open taking in all the light. I let out a sigh and get out of bed. Heading to the closet I look at myself in the mirror. I slowly take off the bandages and look at my head. It looks horrible. “Wow, Will was right, I did not want to know how bad it looked. I put a new bandage over it and plug up my straightener. I head back to the closet a pick out a cute outfit for the day and get ready for the day.

After getting dressed I head out the door and head to the top deck. I sit down at the table and order my breakfast. The waiter first brings me my orange juice. I sip on it and wait for my food to come.

Will

There was going to be a formal-ish breakfast at one of the restaurants, but I slept in late, so I missed it. Instead, I threw on an old concert t-shirt and went up to the top deck. The Captain's Cafe served breakfast until ten, and for some reason, I really wanted some eggs that morning.

"Lindsey!" I called. Lindsey was sitting at a table, sipping orange juice. Her cut didn't look that much better...although maybe that was because of the stitches...

I sat down at Lindsey's table. She waved at me as she sipped on her orange juice, even though I was right there next to her. I laughed, rocking backward in my chair until it was balanced on two legs.

"Who'd you see?" Lindsey asked, pointing to my shirt.

"Great Big Sea," I answered. "You probably haven't heard of them...they're from Canada. You getting breakfast?"

Lindsey nodded. "I already ordered," she explained. "Didn't know you were coming. But you can probably order something when the waiter comes back."

"Okay," I said. "Hey...what are you doing tonight?"

Lindsey thought for a moment. "I don't think I'm doing anything," she answered tentatively. "Why do you ask?"

I froze for a moment, even though I'd role-played this conversation probably a hundred times in my head. "Um--" I began. "I was wondering...if you wanted to get dinner tonight?" My voice rose comically in pitch at the end of my question.

Lindsey

I try not to laugh at him worry. I put my orange juice down on the table and cross my arms. “Hmm.” I say, acting like I am thinking. “I will have to think about it.”

His face goes red and he drops his head a little. “Okay that's fine.” he says

I roll my eyes and place my hand on his arms. “Are you crazy? Of course, I would love to go to dinner.” I say smiling.

Will

I tried to laugh at her joke, but the nerves hadn't worn off yet. "Way to give me a heart attack," I chuckled, my voice warbling a little. "I hadn't practiced a rejection conversation."

Lindsey smiled, giving my hands a little shake. "Don't be silly," she said, still laughing a little. "I would never say no."

"Okay," I said, my voice finally back to normal. "There's a special restaurant I thought we should go to..."

"Ooh!" Lindsey exclaimed. "What is it?"

"It's a surprise," I said. "And don't go asking Alysha or anyone about it."

Lindsey

I sigh and sit back in my chair. “I might die.” I say

“It is only until dinner.” He says laughing at me.

“Do you know how long I am going to have to wait until then?” I say.

He smiles and grabs my hand. “You will be fine.” he says. The waiter comes and he orders his food and it soon comes out. I slowly sit back up and eat my eggs.

“Can you just give me a hint?” I ask.

Will

"Fine," I chuckled. "You can have a hint." Lindsey leaned forward in her chair, her face lit up with excitement.

"Here it is," I began. "You can only get there from the lobby elevator. Plus you need one of these..." I reached into my pocket and fished out my officer's ID tag. "...Or a passenger's gold card."

Lindsey bounced up and down in her chair. "Exclusive, huh?" she commented, smiling at me.

-Captain jones-

''Attetion all guest and staff with gold cards or id cards please report to the bridge , By your selves and yes i mean you will'' i said , I waited about 5 minutes , by then everyone was up on the bridge , "Okay "I said , "there will be no exlusive diner , sadly it has caved in , ruining everything", everyone said " Awww" and walked off , will was the only one who was left behind and I said to him "will , by the way alysha wants to chat to you"

Will

"Ah, crap," I muttered. That stupid storm went and ruined my dinner plans. Well, the downstairs restaurant would be fine.

As the captain waved away the disgruntled passengers, I went to find Alysha. She was down by the pool, working on her suntan.

"Hey, Alysha," I began. "Your dad said you wanted to talk to me?"

will walked over to where I was suntanning, and said " Your father said you wanted to see me?" , when he said this my mind was wandering off , but lucky for me i came back just in time to hear , "See me?" , I got up and said " Yes follow me " ,in my head i was thinking -Stupid mole , had to wreck eveything-
we walked down , past all the "DAGER DO NOT ENTER " signs , which i could see in the corner of my eye make will anxious, we walked past a few doors with the names " electcity , Water , sewrage , food , fuel , scrawled across them , then we turned a corner and stop at a wall , will said " Great you got us lost! we are at a dead end!" , I turned to him and said "are we?' , all of a sudden the floor dropped , and quickly yanked sideways , the up again , it brang us up in my secret room , you could see out all the walls , except the one that was hiding it , it was almost like it had a massive inbuilt aquarium, I turned to him and said " this is were you and lindsey will be having a date , and jeeze will JUST ASK THE DAMN GIRL OUT , stop being a pussy all your life , or you will loose her like you lost me " , I left and came back with tabel and chairs , and then said , " Here set up your date for the night , I turned around to walk out and to my room , when i fell over and hit my head , on the massive bookcase that would of weighed like 2 tonnes , it creeked and groaned , then it fell over , crushing me underneath.

Will

I was surveying the room when the bookcase fell on Alysha.

I yelped, and immediately grabbed the edge of the bookcase in an attempt to lift it up. It was too heavy, though--if I lost my grip, I could crush all my fingers.

I set the bookcase down, grabbed one of the chairs Alysha had brought in, and wedged one of the legs under the bookcase. Using the chair leg as a lever, I leaned all my weight against the back of the chair. Slowly but surely, the bookcase lifted off the ground.

"Run!" I grunted, once Alysha's legs were free. She scrambled out from under the bookcase, and then sat down hard on the floor. I let the bookcase drop, and then went to help her up.

"Um..." I began. "Your head's bleeding...come on, you should probably see a doctor."

As I escorted Alysha to the ship's hospital, I thought about what she had said earlier. She was right--I was being kind of a pussy with Lindsey. It was because I was unsure of myself, I decided. I could pilot ships, but when it came to girls, I was pretty clueless.

I dropped Alysha off at the hospital, and then went to the deck with all the shops. I went into the gift shop and spent a good fifteen minutes looking through the jewelry counter. I wanted to get something special for Lindsey, but I was having a hard time guessing what she might like. I eventually decided on a pair of silver dangling earrings--eight-pointed stars, with the lettering of a compass.

I bought the earrings, and had the cashier wrap them in a tiny box for me. Then I went to find Lindsey.

Lindsey was up on the top deck, lounging out on the bow.

"Lindsey!" I called. Lindsey turned around, and waved excitedly to me.

"Okay," I began, trying not to let my nerves show. "Two things. One: I found another place for dinner tonight. And two: I haven't actually asked you out yet. So, to make up for my being a wuss, I got you something." I handed Lindsey the little present.

Lindsey

“Lindsey!” Will calls from behind. I turn around and manage to find him in the crowd and wave at him. "Okay, Two things. One: I found another place for dinner tonight. And two: I haven't actually asked you out yet. So, to make up for my being a wuss, I got you something." He says

“Will you did not have to get me anything.” I say. He grabs my hand and ans sets the present in it. I smile ans open. There a pair of star earrings. “There beautiful Will. Thank you.” I say giving him a hug. “So where are we going tonight?” I ask.

“You will see.” he say.
