Cara-

Cara looked at the man in front of her, why was she so nervous.

"I-I kinda eavesdropped on a conversation. I was bored and heard talking in some of the woods I was passing through when I heard them talking. Fire had said I shouldn't, but I was bored. I didn't really relieze it was anything of importance until he started chasing us." She said looking down at her hands and wringing them. "I should've told someone."

I put my arms around her holding her tightly.

"Well you did," Natan said, "and before anything happened." He put his finger under her chin and made her look at him, "you have nothing to feel guilty about."

I hugged her tighter and whispered in her ear, "nothing at all."
I just lost the game.

Cara-

Cara frowned and looked towards the fire, for some reason she couldn't keep eye contact with anyone. She didn't like being the center of attention,

"That mage is here, in this town somewhere, he is still looking for me and nothing will stop him from trying to kill me. I can't let y'all get hurt because of me." She said not pulling her eyes from the fire.

Storm-

Storm looked at the others.

"We better get back, it's going to storm and I'm not causing it." He said to the others.

My dad laughed, "Dear, the way my son is clinging to you you've not got much choice in anything. And sides," he said leaning down to her, "we know how to handle ourselves."

"But-

"Trust me," he said.

I hugged her tighter, "he's right, you should hear the stories they can tell."
I just lost the game.

Cara-

Cara blushed a little, "But if one..." She felt Christian squeeze her shoulder and Fire growled quietly.

"Stop worrying. We'll be fine," He smiled, "He might just have to leave soon anyways, you never know." She relaxed at this a little and nodded. She looked at the man that was his father.

"I don't want to be a bother though." She said,

When my father next spoke I wanted to crawl into a hole and die, "you won't be. Anybody who can melt Christian's heart so quickly is someone we want around here."

I knew I was blushing, so was she. That kinda comforted me. I still wanted to slap my dad. Evil man!
I just lost the game.

Ramere-

I stepped forward, seeing the girl about to leave and hearing Storm's words.

"You won't last long out there. Storms here are cold, bitter, and last for days."

Caspan came forward too. "Come back into the town with us. We will find you all somewhere to stay."

Carlie, still clinging to my clothes, whispered: "Are you sure it'll be alright? Mommy and Daddy won't be too happy, not to mention great-grandad Nathaniel..." **Haha, yes, he's still alive.**

I smiled down at her. "Don't worry about it."

Finally they stepped forward. "We'll come."

Cara-

Cara didn't know what to say, she looked back at the fire. Her cheeks were burning, and she wouldn't be surprised if they were a bright red if not an apple red.

Fire was laughing in her head and she felt like hitting him over the head.

YOu sure you aren't a girl, you change your mood so fast I wouldn't be surprised if you were. She snapped at him. He just broke down laughing more. He covered his head with his paws a low gurgling coming from his throat, he was laughing hard. FIRE! Stop!

Caspan-

I followed Ramere who led the rest of the group back into the town, wondering at my cousin's sudden change of heart. One moment he had been standing, getting ready to spit fire on the newcomers, the next he was offering them a place to stay. After all my life of knowing him, I STILL did not understand him. And I doubted I ever would.

Something caught my eye from looking into the forest. I turned to see Ramere's clothes changing from the dull green they had been back to the normal colors. Carlie walked next to him, practically hugging his leg. He seemed to pay her no attention.

The girl, the one who had been in the tree with Ramere, walked by his side also, her clothes changing too. I looked her over curiously. Everything about her screamed fairy, though i caught traces of something else...mainly in her eyes and mouth. I couldn't tell what, and soon gave up, my attention going elsewhere.

Ramere-

I walked with a steady, easy pace towards the town, Carlie clinging onto my leg like a leech. I had already tried shaking her off, but ti no avail. She had shook her head stubbornly and refused. I finally gave up, instead deciding to change my clothes back. I remembered Arabella still wore the same color green and quickly changed hers back, too.

She turned to look at me curiously as we walked, the shuffling footsteps of the others trailing behind us. I met her gaze and held it steadily.

Arabella--

I bet Ramere's gaze, holding it caerfully. I hoped he could see none of the infantuation I held for him in my eyes...that would be quite awkward....

"What are you thinking?" I asked softly, still not removing my gaze.

Ramere-

I shrugged. "Nothing you should concern yourself with."

I smiled slightly. Now it was my turn to regard her with curiousity.

Arabella--

I grinned back at him.

"My thoughts are mine alone, unless someone makes a fair exchange, andI want to tell them," I replied.

Ramere-

I chuckled. "Fair enough."

We emerged from the woods and on the outskirts of the town. I started off in the direction of my house, making sure not to lose the others in the crowd.

I hoped my parents were getting a good laugh at us. I knew my face was beat red, and I didn't dare look at Cara, it would just get worse.

"Alright," Mother said, "lets stop teasing the poor kids, and figure out what we're going to do about the tower."

I loved my mom.

I found myself following them. Why? I hadn't the fantest idea. My eyes were drawn to the one they called Caspan, he was walking ahead all alone. I was alone, he was alone, so why not be alone together right?

I made my way up to him and started walking by him. I had used all my guts to get up here, I didn't have enough to speak. So I just walked in silence. Hoping that if he said anything I wouldn't start stuttering and be a total spazz.

I didn't know why I was such a coward, I just always was. I wished I could have remembered why. But it must have happened before I was four-teen and lost my memory.

"Hello," he said. My heart skipped a couple beats.

"H-hi," I stuttered.
I just lost the game.

Caspan-

I smiled. Girl were always so cute when they stuttered.

"Caspan." i said. I never was one for formal introductions, and, for the life of me, i couldn't see why one was needed here.

"And you are?"
