Cara-

Cara crossed her arms, "So there are more people around here with w-wings?"

"Yup." He smiled,

"Well, that's interesting. I've never seen anyone with wings before." She nearly stuttered.

Your making a fool out of yourself. Fire growled pulling on her pants with his teeth.

Christian

"I don't think your wolf likes me very much, did I mess up?"

"n-no," she said, "at least-"

"I'm sorry if I scared you," he interupted, "I'm just a show off."

Cara-


"As is he, but he is also kinda full of himself, he doesn't think a person should have wings." She said smiling a little, "And extremly protective of me."



Fire-

Fire pushed through the guys barrer and got into his head. I suggest you stay up on that wall. He growled,

Christian

Holy- you're like Crest aren't you?

Who's Crest?

My cousin's dragon.

Then I suppose so.

Look, I'm not going to hurt her, why would I want to? She's pretty.

Fire-

Fire growled and ignored the glare he got from Cara.

Your in his head aren't you! She demanded, he ignored her though.

You even seem like your going to I'll tear you to shreads, I can fly too remember. He growled,

FIRE! QUIT IT! Cara screeched, she grabbed him by the back of his neck and turned pulling him with her.

Cara-

Cara could feel her cheeks burning, how could Fire be so mean.

"I'm sorry, he is protective." She said turning away pulling Fire with her. Thanks, now we have to keep going. No one will get close to me here. She hissed at him.

Christian

I hopped down off the wall, and walked towards her, "he'd get along well with Crest, he almost burned my wings right off when I was seven."

She gave him a confused look, "why?"

"I decided to jump out and scare her."

***Crest is a he. ***

Cara-

Cara couldn't keep her laugh hidden. "I'm sorry, it isn't funny." She chuckled, "thankfully Fire can't shoot fire from his mouth, but his teeth can really hurt. I've seen it before." She said frowning, Fire had torn a guy to bits for trying to rape her. She shuddered a little and Fire rubbed against her leg.

It wont happen again. He purred,

"So what's having wings like?" She asked him, "I'm Cara by the way." SHe smiled.

Christian

She held out her hand and I kissed it, "I'm Christian."

"What's being able to fly like?" she asked.

I knew it would be a bad idea to say it but the words came out of my mouth anyways, "would you like to see?"

Cara-

Cara was surprised that he had kissed her hand, she had just meant to shake his.

NO! Fire snapped, he had let her ride on his back once. THey had hit a bad spot in the wind draft and she had been thrown to the ground. He had barely caught her in time. SHe hadn't let him fly with her again, it scared her. She took a deep breath, this guy was human, he wouldn't drop her.

"Ok." She smiled,

Cara! What are you doing?

You will be there in case anything happens. She replied mently smiling.

Christian

I hadn't expected her to say yes. "It will be a little different than riding on him."

"How so?" she asked.

"It will be harder for you to fall." I stepped towards her. "Put your arms around my neck."

She did so hesitantly and I picked her up. "Comfortable?"

When she nodded I flapped my wings for show and we went high into the air.

Cara-

Cara closed her eyes tight as they lifted up into the air.

Why did you say yes if you are just gonna close your eyes! Fire growled, And he better watch what he says about flying with me. Cara pried her eyes open just to make Fire mad. She hadn't meant to close her eyes they just closed. She looked down and kept from swallowing hard. They were so high up.

It was so pretty up here.

"Everyone looks so small." She smiled looking around, "It's beautiful."

Christian

"Your wolf is glaring at me like I'm the devil incarnet," I said.

"He's mad at you for knocking his flying."

"Being a human and flying is safer for riders."

Fire growled. "Well it is."

"How?"

"As much as you hold onto me, I can hold on back without having to fly weird or make you uncomfortable."

"Oh."

"Would you like to see the lake?"

Cara-

Cara nodded looking around. She could see everything from here. He started towards the lake going down a little. Cara's eyes slammed shut as she felt them desending a little.

If you want to land just say something. Fire said softly, And relax, I might not like him that much, but if you even started falling there are two people here to catch you. Cara mentally nodded prying her eyes open again.

Christian

I smiled when she hesitantly opened her eyes again, "have trouble with heights?"

"Just flying."

"Ah, look down," I said. I was flying us just a good two inches above the water.

"wow," she breathed, "i didn't even notice how far down we went."

I started to go back up. "I think we'd better go back now, Charlie's gonna get after me for cheeting."

"Cheeting?"

"Abondoning the game."

Cara-

"They had stopped anyway, I don't see how they would be mad at you." She said looking around again. He started going down and she clutched his neck tighter.

Don't choke the poor kid. Fire laughed,

YOu flip flop so much, Fire. She growled at him.
