Victoria

Zaen worses the storm above and I shoot a couple gamma rays at her, burning her shoulder. She jerks backwards and I grin.

When she's looking over at her shouler, I slide under her and swing my foot around, tripping her. I stand, wet mud covering my shoes and I chuckle. "Don't get destracted, your opponent will win that way." I smile, crossing my arms. She stands and I motion her towards me.

Mince

I jumped into the air as fire exploded from the ground in the shape of a pillar underneath Nephil. Nephil looked shocked again as the fire engulfed him. I spun around and my chain extended around the pillar instantly turning it ice like. Nephil inside still had a shocked look.

Twila-
He sends a wall of ice at me, and I duck, stumbling backwards as it slams into me. Rocks around me fly into the air, shredding the ice. I send another round of rocks at Nephil, but he blocks most of them with his ice. We stop for a moment as Zaen and her sister get between us, neither of us wanting to risk hurting them.
I slip away quietly to see if the new recruit's okay. He's unconcsious, but he still has a pulse and his breathing is normal.

Nephil

I cut though the ice with my blade, absorbing some of the magic with it. I decided to end this fight here and now, we land back on the ground. and I charge in and so does he to meet me, I gave him one good swing knocking his blade aside and step inside his defenses, my blade to his neck and a scowl on my face.

"You lost this, you're blade is useless at this point. You got one chance to walk away with you're life." I threaten.

Trevor

Zaen and Tori come between my opponent and I and we freeze. I take the moment to look at the others, finding Mince in a hell of a lot of trouble. Swearing, I bolt off to his side, tackling Nephil to the ground. I draw my own sword, the tip against his neck, and feel his against my stomach, pricking the skin.

Zaen

My anger overwhelms me and I strike out with power I didn't realize I had, feeling something foreign and dark sweeping through me.

Mince

I collapsed to my knees and sighed. I felt an immense power and I turned to see Zaen attacking. I lunged forward and jumped into the way just as she attacked Tori. (I hope I'm right)

Stella

From my vantage point behind the bush, I saw Nephil knock Mince to the ground, Mince's sword skidding to the side. Nephil growled something to Mince and pulled his blade back--

But then Trevor came flying in, tackling Nephil and drawing his own sword. Oh, no--Mince needed to get out of the way, fast. This was going to get ugly.

Mince did get out of the way--out of the way of Trevor and Nephil, that is. Instead of going after Nephil again, he went for Zaen, trying to protect Tori. Zaen (and Tori, for that matter) looked furious. Zaen pulled her blade back for a strike--

Oh, no, Zaen. Oh no you don't.

"Mince, close your eyes!" I shouted. I shot an arrow, missing Zaen by just a few feet. I wasn't trying to hit her, though. When the arrow hit the ground, it exploded in a massive burst of blue light, blinding everyone in its vicinity. I had ducked back behind my bush, to save my eyes, and when I looked up, Mince was stumbling away from where the arrow had hit, his eyes shielded. Zaen, with her light powers, would recover quickly, but at least I had been able to distract her.

Nephil

In a sweep of anger I saw Zaen Vurnable from the burst of light. In my rage I used Masamune and overwelmed Trever in a matter of seconds, instead of going for the kill I saw Tori taking aim at her still blind sister, I rushed in front of Zaen just as the arrow flew. It strikes me in my sword arm, and I fall to thr ground on one knee my hand on the arrow. I snear at Tori, and break the arrow in half.

"Zaen you alright?" I ask though grited teeth.

Mince

Unshielding my eyes, I stumbled over to Nephil. A massive fireball the size of thirty buses appeared in front of me. I was making use of all five of my open gates.

"Are you ready to die Nephil," I said smiling. I slammed the fireball onto Nephil before being thrown back by the explosion and I slammed into a tree and passing out, all five of the gates closing.

Zaen

Just as I'm about to release my new found power when someone else jumps in the line of fire. The sudden movement catches me off guard and the explosion from the arrow didn't help. I blink a few times, coming out of it faster than I should, and shake my head.

Master rushes in front of me in the blink of an eye, taking an arrow in his arm for me. Numb, I stare at him as he asks if I'm alright. The blood...

W-what did you do that for? I sign.

Trevor

Nephil overwhelms me and bolts towards his own. Swearing, I stand and raise my sword to ready position, looking at the standstill. Mince is stumbling backwards, the new recruit is down and out for the count just as his Hidden opponent, Stella is still in the tree... Tori stands on the other end of the fight between them.

Mince charges Nephil with a fireball and releases it just as I shout for him to stop. He flies backwards, hitting his head and passing out.

"Stella, Mince, now!" I order, my anger overtaking me.

My eyes narrow on Nephil, absorbing all the moisture in the air and drawing it into me.

Stella

"Stella, Mince, now!" Trevor shouted.

I took a wide stance, still crouched low to the ground, and drew another arrow. Just like Tori taught me, I thought. One after the other. I concentrated, using my x-ray vision, targeting Nephil's sword arm. Elbow...wrist...hand... I paused, waiting for a clear shot.

Nephil

I suddenly react to gaint fireball dispite the pain in my arm, I slice into it with all my might, Masamune absorbing the element and it's power blocks to the explosion on my end, but not Minces. Masamune glows bright red after the explosion. I see Zaen sign asking why I blocked the arrow, it was abvious, a master of sword play is suppose to defend his apprentice from death at all costs, even if it mean's his own life.

"I took it because you're my apprentice, you were still blind from the light explosion. You would be dead if I didn't. A master is suppose to defend his apprentice at all costs, even if it means my life." I told her.

Trevor

Stella lifts her bow and I shake my head, cursing myself at the misinterpretation. I hesitate, looking at Nephil and the girl, reminded of the bond between me and my group, but send a tsunami sized wave their way anyway.

Zaen

I stare at him still, shocked by his actions and words. My eyes set on something in the corner of my vision and I act, pulling him to the side and standing to shield him from the sudden wave.

Nephil

Zaen blocks the wave for me unable to react fast enough to take the hit for her, tear's run down my face had no choice but to lay down my life.

"Twila!" I call out.

She moves like lightning to my side, as I get up I become ready for battle and push Zaen behind me.

"You two are to run, I'll hold them off here. Zaen do not question you're master, you are to do as I say and get as far away from here and find someone named Kira Lowell, she'll help you out." I tell them.

"Twila, new recruit. please do you're best to get Zaen to Kira as fast as you can. Now Go!" I tell them,

They run off I hear them running, I forfeit my life here in hopes that Zaen can one day retrieve Masamune and become the master swordsman I hope her to be, The loyalists begin to move in on all sides, and I'm ready.
