Mince

"I can do it," I say. I unsling my sword and hold it in front of me, my left hand on the sheathe, and my right on the hilt.

"I'll go into my transformed state if I start losing. I will use my fire sword like in our practice battles, but please let me do this," I plead Trevor.

After hearing what Mince says I jump up and it stops raining. I take my bow and arrow And ready it, warming up my powers. I move next to Trevor cautiously.

I do as Mince does, into my transformed state. My eyes turn red and my hair turns auburn. My skin grows pale and I grin.

Bring it on...

"I found them, and their power is strong," Jop said over the communacation's.

"Right, I'm headed out come back to camp and watch after you're sister." I told him.

I got up without another word and made for where Jop was moving swiftly towards town.

****

Nephil

I hear the challenge and I gladly accepted it, I was ready for battle I look over to Zaen who had readied herself.

"Zaen, you're sister is here do as you must but don't you're self doing it understood? And to the three of you, prepare to do what we practiced with a three pronged attack. I feel we may need to use it here." I told the three.

The battle started and Mince as I remember charged after me he had his sword sheathed and so did I, I blocked his and kicked him in the chest. He came at me again only for me to block again and blast him backwards with my wind affinity, it didn't do much except cause him to go backwards sliding in the mud.

"You won't win like this." I tell him.

Mince

The battle with Nephil was intense. I was no use like this.

"Time for my secret weapon," I said smiling.

I jumped back and opened the first gate. An explosion of fire exploded from me. Opening the second gate, a cloak of fire appeared on me. Opening the 3rd, fire started to come from my sheathed sword. Opening the 4th, I smiled, fangs growing and my hair becoming longer till my bangs hid my eyes. Opening the last gate, a blinding light blinded everyone.

When the light cleared, I was shirtless and had tattoos on my chest. I unsheathed my sword and a long chain extended from the bottom of the hilt. The chain flowed freely as if it was a leaf. Fire burned everything within a 2 mile radius.

Spoiler

Nephil looked shock and I smiled. I lunged to the side, swinging my sword. The chain shot forward and wrapped around Nephil singeing him. I lunged at him, about to slice at him when a strong gust of wind knocked me back.

"I'm just getting started," I said.

"Right, I'm headed out come back to camp and watch after you're sister." Kira said over the communication channel.

Nodding knowing she couldn't see me, I looked at the others.

"What are you doing here?" the girl repeated.

I watched in awe as Mince transformed, everything nearby going up in flames. Thankfully, he had enough control to avoid us with his fireballs--otherwise, I would have been burned to a crisp.

I was crouched in the branches of a birch tree, counting on my light hair and skin to blend in with the bark. When the Hiddens had arrived, I had grabbed my bow and all my arrows and climbed up here. With any luck, no one would see me. The birch tree offered good cover, and I could see the entire battle at once, and take shots whenever I felt like it.

For the first time ever, Nephil looked shocked--but it was only for a second. Then that smug grin I hated so much crept back onto his face. He managed to repel Mince's next attack, but Mince smiled at him, his eyes bright. "I'm just getting started," he growled.

I nocked and arrow and drew it back, keeping it trained on Nephil. If it got to that point, I would shoot to protect Mince, but I didn't dare risk it unless I had to. If I missed, I could hit Mince. That was the worst thing I could possibly do--our safety always comes first, Trevor had said, even before the chance to defeat an enemy.

I keep firing up myself. My eyes turn blood-shot red and flamed tattoos appear on both my shoulders. My hair becomes a golden red and I breath in to get my fire started.

I'm fully transformed. I find Zaen and flash a sly smile when I reach her, bringing my bow and arrow in hand. "Long time no see." I grin.

I looked on as Mince had transformed into a golden like warrior and he was with the sword and long flowing chain, but my grin only came back as I finally had a challenge other than Trever. I finally unsheated my sword and grin cockly at Mince as I tossed the sheath away from me. Trever's expression hardens into fear as he knows I was going to use the three master styles, I moved Masamune into my right hand, my dominate hand. I grew a serious but cocky look.

"Alright, so that's how you want it? Fine. Come at me swordsman and face off against the three master styles only the apprentices under Master Roku could learn!" I yelled to him.

Swords Master, Trickster, and Magic Weilder. The three master styles only Master Roku taught his apprentice. That being me, Mince came at me in full force with his blade and I dodged his blade left and right starting off the battle in Trickster style. As I hit the mud slide I jumped high in the air and moving to Swords Master style.

I watch with horror as Mince fights against Nephil. With each strike, I cringe and take a tiny step forward, giving him commands in my thoughts. Tori lunges off to her sister and I curse under my breath, glancing back at Stella and order the others towards the other Hiddens, keeping my eyes locked on Nephil and Mince as they battle.

Zaen

The battle starts and Tori is the first to face me, engulfed in flames. I swallow, wishing this isn't happening. Anyone else I could fight with no problem...but not her. I draw my sword and get into stance, doing as Master taught.

I chuckle and step foward, engulfing my arrow in my flames. I keep it hooked onto my belt, so I could practice with my fists, just using my Arrow if I need it. I formed firballs in my hands and shot a couple at her. She dodged them and I nodded.

Never be too eager Experienced Hiddens would be prepared for that. You wouldn't last long
.

I remember Trevors words and keep my stance, waiting for her to make the first mistake.

I head towards Trevor, but just before I reach him, I see him glance towards a tree. I follow his gaze and through the charred branches, I can just make out the tip of an arrow.
Circling around I climb up the back of the tree, my steps on the branches almost as quiet as they are in the ground. I tackle her from behind and we both fall several feet to the ground below, the air slammed out of both of our lungs. I immediately break the air she has knocked on her bow and throw the bow as far from her as possible. I recognize the girl as the one who burned my face.
"I'm Twila," I say as I block a punch and she blocks my kick, "you are?"

"I'm Twila," the girl I had burned said, kicking at me. "And you are?"

"Don't touch my bow!" I snarled. She had her fist pulled back, as if to punch, so I dropped to my knees, spun around, and kicked her feet out from under her. By the time she got up, I was halfway across the clearing, grabbing my bow and nocking a new arrow. I drew my arm back--

And a cloud of dirt and dust flew up in front of me, obscuring my infrared vision. I muttered something under my breath. Switching to x-ray vision, I stepped to the side to put Twila between Mince and I. Mince's fire was hot enough to produce ample x-rays, and I could use them to find Twila. There she was--I could see her skeleton.

Then a blast of hot air knocked both of us over. I let myself drop, tucked my head, and rolled to safety behind a bush. I didn't want to get caught in a firefight--the best ranges of my vision would be at risk. I poked my head out just enough to see the perimeter of the clearing. Twila was nowhere to be seen.

"Nice to meet you, Don'ttouchmybow," I mutter as I regain my footing. She turns, arrow loaded, but I block her vision and duck. We're blasted backwards by the heat and I run back to help out Zaen, only to run into Trevor and the other Hidden, who looks like he could use my help.
I elbow Trevor in the ribs and the other Hidden grabs Trevor's wrists and pins them behind his back. Trevor does a backwards head-but and the other Hidden falls to the ground. I raise my fists.

She hesitates and I wonder why. Taking a deep breath, I worsen the storm above me. A clap of thunder and lightening keep us separate.

Someone jumps on me and tries to pin me down. I headbutt one of them, only to succeed in having to face the other. Drawing my sword, I sign.

"Bad decision," I mutter.

Oh shoot, I think. Fists vs. Swords... the odds are not in my favor. I hold up my hands.
"I surrender," I say. He relaxes infinitesimally, looking puzzled. I rock the ground under his feet, sending him stumbling and grab for the hilt of his sword.
We tug-o'-war for the sword. My heart's fluttering like a bird. I know it's a lost battle; he's stronger than me.
"Duck!" I shriek. He instinctively ducks, and I kick his shin. He jerks and the blade slices out of my grip, cutting my palm.

My sword? Really? Of all things...

After the tumbling and stumbling, I jerk my sword back, slicing her palm, and shove my hand out, bombarding her with a wall of ice.
