Calypso Delos- Aimed and ready

The whispers were like music to my prettily shaped ears. I had long been out attention in that 'before' stage, foolish enough to bend in corners to stay out of the way. Here, I felt like a Princess, eating up the attention as soon as it fell from my subjects mouths. Rematch of the year. I liked the sound of it.

"At your ready!" Dragon, aimed and posed to let us go to Hades with each other. "Start!"

The excitement in his voice was dampered only by a tinge of responsibility. Kelly lunged at me, but I quick stepped her aside. If my luck held up, Kelly would be to far deep in the haze of revenge to see an attack move come clearly.

"Better be smarter than that, honey." I whispered cockily in her ear.

She took a deep breath, as if to clear her haze, stepping back and aiming her light sword at me.

"Un gar, honey." Her dripping falsetto stung at my heart, but I clenched my teeth.

Focus. I find myself swinging my arm at her, the clash of her sword on mine, tinging metal through the air. Must not let her touch me. I- hopefully as well as she- knew the rules of the game. Stupid as it was, get touched three times and your out. How sadistically unbloody. She swings her own sword at my side, but I sense it coming and duck to hit her on the heart.

"Set one, Calypso!" Dragon yells.

Cassandra hands me a water bottle and I lift my mask to drink from it, but not before offering Kelly a sweet smile. Her face is stone. Dragon says the command, but this time it is less of swords and more of... well...

"I'm not letting you beat me again, Delos." Kelly snarles.

Already she seems more in control, and it sets my heart beating faster. She can assess the situation now, without the dark haze of stubborn revenge clouding her vision. I realize with a shock that she could actually beat me- she learned from her mistakes, and was now more powerful.

Hell.

I needed a tactic and one quickly. Super speed can only dodge clear eyes for so long. Looking at her, concentrated under her ugly white fencing mask, sent a shock of anger through me. How dare she say my group of friends were whores, members of some weirdo cult? She wass such a pain in my behind, and she was about to go down.

"Then bring it on." I respond with an unseeable grin.

She jabs at me again, taking the invite, but I block her with my sword. It's time for me to get my anger out- but not with this Medivial Weapon.

"So, Kelly," I say to make 'conversation', "What have you been up to since you got expelled by the Dark Daughters. Try and get ready to fail?" Her face grows a bit more red. I kinda hated doing this, on one hand, but it was so fun. "You used to be so good to us, but now? I bet you can't even through a fireball." She heaves her sword at me, and I barely avoid it. Damn. I need to dig a little harder. I'm out of breath as I speak. "Not terrible, but I guess your just as weak as you used to be."

"Shut up." She mutters, running her sword across the edge of my face.

"Make me." I block another attack, lunging for her neck to stop this all- or at least this round.

"Maybe I will."

That's when she throws the fireball.
I have loved the words and I have hated them. I only hope I have made them right.

Kelly Myers - Anger Rising

I was threw playing around, I was beginning to get ticked. That's when I said enough was enough. I backed up and began to heat up my hand to launch an assault of fireballs. The gloves burns away and a bright glowing ball of fire was held in my hand, I threw three of them straight at her she cut them away with her sabre but my eye caught something after the third swing, pain shot though her face like I saw during our battle last year. She had nailed two of them with the sabre itself the third had hit her hand guard but it landed with a shock weakening her sabre arm. I charged in no longer using fencing moves, I came in with a downwards swipe she blocked it at first but it was meant to happen. I delivered a series of swipes going down and across, she was blocking them all but that was a part of my strategy to wear her down. each time a blow would land the sabre would quickly positioned itself to block it, every time I landed a hit her face would cringe at the pain of the impact her hand was receiving. I backed up after another series of swipes.

"Hows it feel Delos? Are you in pain? Good cause its how I felt after last year, after I been defeated by the likes of you." I said preparing another round of fireballs to add onto the pain.

Class was interupted when a professor informed Prof. Lankford about a fight in the gym between Claypso and Kelly. Some were calling it the rematch of the year. Prof. Lankford dismissed us early and ran to go check on her mate. As soon as she left the class followed behind her to the gym.
What we saw when we got their was undecribable. Nearly half of the students at the House of Night were surrounding the gym watching the two girls fight. My gaze shifted when I saw Zoey at the gym's back entrance. I ran over to him the fight completly forgotten to me.
"Hey Zoey, enjoying the show." She looked at me a little suprised.
"Oh um hey Ethan, no they interrupted the equestrian class. Lenobia said th noise was irriatating the horses." She said and I nodded. I thought for a few minutes.
"Well come on since classes seem to be over let's go find Athena and take a tour." I suggested.

Katomi

I woke up in a white room.
"Finally, she's awake. Are you ok sweetie?" a voice asked.
"I'll take over from here." another said, as everyone cleared the room. "Come with me to the house and you will be ok."
Next thing I knew I was in my own room with a room-mate who I never even met. My life seemed to be just begining.
"Wake up!" Someone called.
"Hn?" I groaned. "Watineisit?" *What time is it?*
"Time for class!" I stayed in bed while this stranger tried to get me out.

Arianna Sidia
I sighed. "It's almost time for dinner anyway all you have to do is find your locker." I said quietly. She sat up and then stared wide eyed at my Mark. "Yeah it's added to but not filled in." I said shortly. She nodded still looking shocked. "What's your name?" I added. "Katomi and yours?" She asked. "Arianna Sidia my friends call me Rain, Ria or Sidia." I replied calmly. Isis jumped onto my shoulder shocking Katomi. I laughed softly and kissed Isis's nose softly. "It's alright it's only Isis." I soothed quietly. Katomi relaxed slightly. The bell sounded and we heard people going towards the dining hall. "Ready?" I asked her. She nodded and we walked to the dining hall. I led her through the line pointing out certain things. She followed surprisingly quiet. We exited and I scanned the tables. I saw a new third former who here I felt a jolt of surprise she had an addition to her Mark as well. I remembered her name as well. "Zoey Redbird." I muttered. "What?" Katomi asked. "I just found who we can sit with." I replied leading the way. I set my tray down next to Zoey as the conversations halted. "Well met Zoey Redbird may we sit?" I asked politely. "Sure." She said turning and smiling. She froze staring at me. "Y-your Mark!" She gasped. "Yeah your not alone." I said smiling at her.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

Sydney

Sydney's patience was running thin. There was no way in hell he was going to wait any longer for some pitiful mentor to come in after his class was over and go over the rules of the House of Night. He ruffled his blonde hair as he tried to figure out what to do. He hadn't had much sleep considering he had to drive himself to the school. 'Thanks a lot mom and da.' He thought as he rubbed the sleep out of his eyes. To him, the room was getting a bit small with its receptionist desk in the middle and only two chairs in the corner and a lot of statues and flowers everywhere. 'What the hell?' Sydney never been to a school that looked so...so..ancient and dark. Yet he never been to any House of Night school. "It will just be a moment, sir. She will be done with her classes and then she will show you around the school. Trust me you will love it her, if not, then you will learn to love it." The extremely perky brown haired receptionist said not looking up from her computer. He couldn't see her eyes because of the too bright glare from the computer. Sydney sighed.

"Where did you say you were from? California, right? You were suspended from there because you 'accidently' destroyed someone's home." The receptionist was typing fast, while stating her questions as a fact.

"That wasn't my fault. It was.." Sydney whispered not meaning for anyone to hear. "What was that?" She looked up from her computer, fingers still typing. Sydney shock his head.

"Sydney?" He stood up as a beautiful woman appeared in the doorframe. 'My god, am I dreaming?' He thought as he looked at, who he assumed to be his mentor.

"I am professor Vento. I am sorry but I have a class in 10 minutes. Sorry I was late. Let us just quickly take you to your class then we can talk afterwards, okay?"

Sydney sighed as he followed Vento to his next class. The halls were empty because class hadn't ended just yet. All Sydney wanted to do was sleep. He had spent hours driving recklessly down the highway so he could make it there before sunrise even though his parents put black shades on his windows. The sun wouldn't kill him, He knew that but his parents didn't. He really didn't want to be up in the morning.

Year: Sixth Former.

Appearance:
Spoiler
Image

History: Serena was marked when she was barely fourteen. The goddess, Nyx, came to her in a dream and told her she was very important to the Goddess. Serena, Nyx claimed, would assist the 'red bird' and protect her. The 'red bird' was Nyx's Chosen One. Serena, up until two days ago, had no idea who the 'red bird' was; she assumed the dream was fake. But when this Zoey Redbird showed up, Serena knew, deep down, that this was the agent of the goddess. Serena was chosen to help Zoey, in anyway and every way she can.

Serena grew up in a good home, with a loving family. Her parents were upset and furious that Serena was chosen; they were afraid her body was going to regret the change. She convinced them to let her go, and that she would die if she didn't leave immediately. So, her family had to let her go.

Affinity: Telepath. (Think Professor X. Is that okay?)

Up for Love?: Suuure?

Other: Serena is a very nice and subtle girl. She's very influential and magical in her ways. She's responsible and kind. She looks out for the Dark Daughters and Sons and she basically mothers them. In fact, she makes sure they don't do anything bad or illegal. She refuses, in any way, to disrespect Nyx.

Mentor: Lenobia.

Calyso Delos- Practically on fire

If I wasn't on fire already, I would be now. What the hell was she doing? We were fencing, for Goddess sake, and she was throwing stinking fire at me. Fire! I held back for a moment, waiting for Dragon to call Kelly out, but he didn't. I was on my own. Like always.

I drop my fencing sword to the ground, stopping the fire with a few Karate blows to her stomach, sending her stumbling back. Fear and sweat tingled across my skin, mixing together to form a horrendous mixture. I must win! Keeping Kelly off guard, I hit her feet, then use Super-speed to jab at her face. She got back her balance quickly, and sent a tingling fireball up my face that I barely avoided. She was gonna pay for that damage.

Panting, I try to interrogate her more so that she wouldn't hurt me. If only she hit someone else with one of her deathballs, then she would get in major trouble. That would end this. Something had to end this. "So, Kelly... who have you replaced us with? Another batch of losers who don't understand you? Ditched that Dark Son boyfriend you used to have for who? Pharoh?"

She jabbed another fireball at my stomach, but I could tell it was I who set her on fire. "He's my friend." She hissed.

"Su-ure." Karate jab to her stomach. "Next your gonna tell me you posses the powere of all five elements. It's only to bad he doesn't like girls like you." I gather up all she ever told her former friends about her past and throw it in her face. "You don't even want to be a vampyre, do you? You don't want all this power. Idiot."

I could tell I got her frusterated as she gathered up all of her power, her taste of revenge and threw it in my direction. It came at me in one giant mess of heat, but I wasn't scared- I side-stepped it like it was a tiny arrow. To late, Kelly realized her mistake. I turned around to see it hurtling- right towards Pharoh.

Damn.

We have Red's permission, no worries. We needed to end this, and it was Master's idea. :pirate3:

Kelly Myers - Kelly's Surprises Calypso

I relized at only the last second of the mistake I had made, Pharaoh didn't see it coming until the second it hit him. He went backwards landing on the ground students making room as he fell, not even catching him. I raced over to him pushing Calypso out of my way and hoping over the arena boundaries. I came to Pharaoh's side not checking his pulse.

"Pharaoh!" I called to him.

"Pharaoh! Come on wake up!" I said my voice growing whiny.

Tears came to my eyes as I shaked him trying to wake him. But he said nothing I shock him tears fell to his face. I looked at Calypso, she gave me that smile, the same one she gave me months ago. I stood up shakely, I felt a feeling that I hadn't felt in ages. Pure hate. there were new whispers in the crowd, but I couldn't tell what they were saying. blindly I lanched all my power at Calypso not knowing what I was doing, she never saw it coming and then darkness.

Pharaoh Draco | Out Cold Momentarily

I knew Mom, Amy, and Veronica would disown me, but I didn't expect Angel to still have faith in me. She told me that I once had a babysitter that had the same thing on her forehead like mine. I was just astonished that Angel would still love me in spite Mom's orders. I hugged Angel and asked her to write to me whenever I write to her. She promised she would and touched the Mark on my forehead gently. She and I made a pact that night. We swore to remain family, even if one was Marked and the other wasn't. We shook hands on it, then she addressed me as Pharaoh instead of Charles. I still called her Angel, and kept her in mind when I changed my name to Pharaoh. Although life was never the same for Angel, I knew I would return to her once I've completed the Change. My first order of business as an adult vampyre was to reunite with my beloved little sister...
I found myself in the infirmary. The last thing I could remember was a fireball hit me square in the face and I was falling backwards as I blacked out. My face was in pain as I asked, "How in Nyx's name did I get in here?"

Sorry I didn't post this last night, our lights went out. Also, don't forget Neferet is a High Priestess, which means she can also heal. Plus you heal faster when you're around grown vamps.

Zoey

I watched in horror as the two girls fought--the same girls from earlier. How could the professors be letting this go on? Pretty soon, fire joined the fight. Ok, so if it wasn’t weird that the teachers were letting all of the fencing going on, then it was definitely weird that they were allowing this.

Making sure I kept my face blank, I moved closer, still trying to stay close to Ethan, but close enough that I could feel the power radiating from the girl with the fire, Kelly I think it was. This wasn’t right, we weren’t supposed to be fighting with each other. We were children of Nyx, sons and daughters of a Goddess, and a Goddess’ children don’t fight each other.

You’re right my daughter, I heard Nyx’s voice whisper through my head. I scrunched up my eyebrows. If she didn’t like this, then why didn’t she just change it? Why didn’t she stop the fighting and be done with it.

Why let all of this happen? I didn’t mean for it to sound like I was doubting my Goddess, but she was powerful, I knew that much. She had given all of her children gifts.

When I give a gift I never take it back, she whispered again. It’s free will. I grant it to all of my children. At that moment, I felt sick. Not just because I had doubted Nyx, but because of the fight progressing in front of me. They taunted each other like they were animals.

I was so absorbed in the match that I nearly screamed when the boy got hit. No, I didn’t know him. But I did fear for him and no way did it matter if we were friends or not when he was hurt. I kept my face clear, though and pulled myself together. Things had to change and if I was Nyx’s Chosen One, then I guessed I would be the one to change things. I made my way around the arena, Ethan close beside me, following me again. Not that I minded him following me or anything, but at the moment it was kind of annoying. I’d never tell him that though, I just wasn’t that mean.

I was about halfway around the arena when Neferet appeared next to me, whispering a quick “He’ll be fine” before she hurried to them. I didn’t care, I wanted to help, I wanted to test the ‘gifts’ Nyx had given me. If I was such a prodigy, then what was my affinity?

Arianna Sidia
I raced after the gurney I was only a few steps behind when they reached the infirmary. They set Pharaoh down and I flinched noticing how badly he was burned. Neferet sat with him and managed to heal the worst of it. She passed and gently squeezed my shoulder supportingly as she did. I felt a wave of annoyance from her but shook it off. I sat next to Pharaoh's bed quietly. I heard him stir. "How in Nyx's name did I get here?" He asked his pain hitting me full on. I flinched again slightly. “Kelly accidently hit you with a fire ball.” I replied calmly. “Rain?” He asked. “No it’s the bogey man ooga booga booga!!!” I said sarcastically. He smiled slightly. "So what are you doing here?" He asked. "Ryan told me to keep an eye on you." I said softly. Pharaoh said nothing just turned slightly to look at me. "This is the second time we've both been in here." He said softly. "Yeah yeah it is. I remember the last time I fainted and hit my head after Ryan died." I said speaking to my hands. "You miss him don't you?" He asked. "Yeah yeah I do." I said squeezing my hands together not looking up.

Spoiler
My idea was that Pharaoh and Arianna were both friends with Ryan who was Arianna's friend who died. I will change if I need to.

Pharaoh Draco

I sensed a bit of sorrow from Arianna, so I took her hand and gave her the feeling of being calm and at ease. My power could give others any emotion I want them to have as well as make me feel the emotions around me. I couldn't understand why Nyx would give me an affinity for empathy, but I never questioned her will. Even though I was a Fifth Former, I knew better than to question Nyx's will. "Just be strong for Ryan, Anna. We have to be strong for our friends and family. Trust me. I'm still trying to be strong for my little sister."
