I could sense Mark was getting sicker and Kelly was getting hyper. I followed her until we were well away from the room Mark and Neferet were in. I stopped her from heading out the door and trapped her in my arms. "Kelly, you know you can't go out there. You'll die in a matter of minutes if you step out the door. If you die, then you'll never meet my sister and father once we've completed the Change. It'll break my heart if you die." The last bit just rolled out of my mouth. I couldn't believe I said that.

Pharaoh holds me as I hear the last part, I looked at him confused. But I soon smile as I lean in to kiss him. We laugh as we kiss, but soon pull away.

"I wasn't leaving." I said in a giggly tone.

"I was trying to get away from Mark and all the blood he was coughing up. It was driving me crazy, and no need to start sucking on his blood. So I was trying to put some distances between me and him o I didn't go nuts." I said.

He let's my hands go and we start walking together, giggling along the way. I was sure Mark would be ok with Neferet, we soon head back to my dorm. I had a seriously high hope for another long mark out session while Neferet was distracted.

If a fledgling rejects the change, they die. There's no healing them. Just thought i'd throw that out there.

They don't know that he is rejecting the change Forsaken.

I'm not going to argue with you, but I'm pretty sure I've said this before. Every fledgling knows what happens when their body rejects the change. >.>
