This is basically Earth, North America squished together so you can get any where in North America by train, bus, or car. Right now we are in Brooklyn, New York.

Guys, seriously. I'm having trouble keeping up with everybody. Could you slow down a little bit so I could keep up?

Draco Pacis | Castle

I waited until I was sure the coast was clear. Once that was established, I left my room and took a walk to the throne room. I had no doubt in my mind that His Majesty, King Charles would be coming this way sooner or later. I wasn't going to give up on reasoning with him. It didn't take a genius to know that he was still greiving the loss of his mate. Some vampires call me strange, but the mortal who taught me to see both sides of the coin called me an empath. I never really used my emotional-peacemaking power on a fellow vampire in my life, but I was more than willing to experiment. However, I was also willing to risk death if I fail to reason with King Charles and attempt to run away from this wretched confine of a castle.
Look down and show some mercy if you can.
Look down, look down, upon your fellow man.

"But you have heard of me."

Brooklyn | Castle

I walked back into the Castle, taking a stroll through the ballroom. I started dancing around. I laughed in exitiment and kept dancing around, putting roses in the vases.

Brooklyn/Castle
I walked through the castle secretly memorizing escape routes if needed. I started to turn down another corridor when I scented roses. Curiousity more than anything told me to follow the scent. I came upon a strange site. A girl was twirling around and placing flowers in vases. I couldn't help smiling. I walked over and carefully plucked a rose out of a vase. I examined it humming something under my breath. It was a 'black rose' which was in fact just a very dark red.

I smiled as I danced around, and fixed the tables in the ballroom humming. I laughed and made the roses fresh. I made sure every one was healthy.

Aurora| Club Fire

The alcohol felt good burning down my throat. I was no stranger to liquor and with the world being ruled by vampires, the legal drinking age plummeted. I saw a human man smile at me on the dance floor and I walked over to him and started dancing. The alcohol failing at his job to make me forget the blue eyed vampire. I sighed.

I woke up, shakly, casting my senses out to see if there was any life out near me. Nothing. I thought happily but I thought too soon. Crap, a vampire. I suddenly had the smell of decay hit my nostrils. This happened every time I met with a vampire but I could handle it. It felt like friend because it warned me of the power strength of my new opponent.

I could smell her, that intoxicating smell of witch blood. I knew who and what she was from her wanted files back at home. I started to close in on her, only thinking about what they did to my parents. Suddenly the sun hit her and it was like I had been hypnotized. She was beautiful. So young, so scared, yet so brave. That girl was my breakfast? I thought I had better taste then to choose the cuties! But I must go on and finish my quest. I had been tracking her for six days without a rest and without food. She was to be my me and I to be her death.

King Charles| Throne Room

I entered my throne room and came face to face with my old friend Draco. I smiled at him.
"Ahh old friend, what can I do for you, you look troubled." I asked taking a seat on my throne. Gazing at the emptyseat next to me where my wife should have been.

Draco Pacis | Throne Room

I stood in front of him respectfully. "I've been thinking for these past few days. Ever since we took a mortal as a prisoner, we've been under attack by the rebel's left and right. What troubles me the most is that we're all losing donors the same way the rebels are losing numbers. It's my opinion that neither one of us- mortal and vampire alike- is on the winning side. Whenever we lose a donor to sustain ourselves, the rebels lose one of their own kind in return." I knew I was walking a thin wire, but I had to try reasoning with the king. I was willing to take a risk. "Forgive me if I must say so, sire, but this war isn't necessary. Both sides are losing. Sooner or later in this era, both of our races will deplete until there's no one left."

King Charles|Throne Room

As I listened to Draco I grew angrier. How dare he! This war not nessary, propsturious.
"Draco, I'm not sure if you recall the murder of my mate. But if you do then you will see, as I do, that this war is anything but unnessecary. Those humans need to be taught a lesson. As for our food supply, go kidnap all the humans you wish, they don't even have to be part of the rebellion. Just have a field day." I told him and waved him off.
