I ran to the king. "Hey they've-" I stopped. "Hey Alec whats up?" I asked friendly, my red hair stilll behind me as I continued to talk to the king. "They've got too far into the kingdom, we should do something."

Draco Pacis | Castle

I found it hard to believe that the rebels would be around here, but on the other hand, mortals have been evolving as the years passed. I wanted no business with mortals, yet my service to the king had me chained to the castle. It brought me back to the time I met a young mortal who taught me how to see both sides of the coin. The mortal was as young as eighteen, yet spoke with wisdom in her voice. She told me that both mortals and vampires alike have something in common, even if they can't think about what either side thought of each other. I was a century and twenty-five years old when she shared her wisdom with me. She was the only mortal I knew that didn't judge me as the rebels do nowadays.
My mind returned to the present. I knew the king might not listen to my double-sided reason, but I wasn't going to give up yet. I still had my other option, which would be the death of me if the king or his offspring found out about it. My other option, if the king won't listen to my reasoning, was to run away and live somewhere else.

I ran back to Draco's room. "Dude! Hurry up!" I Slammed on his wall. Then ran back to the dungeon to check on the prisioners, tired. I run back into the hallway, out of breath, resting on the wall.

When Sophia came back and told me that she didn't see any sign of my father I sucked it up and pressed the button on my locket that would signal a retreat. Sophia and I ran out of the Dungeon and towards the castle exit. My father was smart, if he was alive he wold find a way out if he hadn't already. Once far away ebough from the castle I did a headcount. Only one person person was missing besides my father. After the headcount we headed back to the library to regroup and plan our next mission.

I Ran Back to the king. "Their gone, But The prisoners have escaped." I said out of breath. I went back to my room to fix my hair and change into my regular clothes-

Then I walked slowly to my bed and buried my head in my hands, overwhelmed.

"I will deal with them as well, make sure to stay here father. And if you can, make your way to the bunker. They couldn't possibly find you there." I said.

I opened the door, sticking to the shadows of the hallway. I waited for the rebels to pass. Then I would make my move.

But one thing failed to escape my mind. That girl, he face shown brightly in my mind.
I kicked myself. I am here to protect the king, not worry about rebel girls. But she was so...

Aurora|On a hill

Halfway back to HQ I stopped and told the others I would be there later. They told me they would send word if my father returned and lef me alone. I now sat on a hill satring at the stupid castle not because there was a chance that my father was still in there but because of the stupid blond, blue eyed boy in there. The beautiful one that I just couldn't stop thinking about, no matter how many times I reminded myself that he was a vampire. I sat thinking, wondering if I would ever see him again.

Brooklyn | outside

I decided to take a stroll outside and saw that girl on the hill. I shook my head. I didn't want to be here. So I started to walk towards her harmlessly. I smiled at her and sat down next to her. "I won't hurt you. I promise. I honestly dont want to fight."

Christian | Roaming the Halls

I walked slowly through the hallways. My instinct told me now that the rebels had left. I passed a window and looked out. My eyes easily saw two figures sitting on the hill. One of them Brook. And the other, was the girl. The girl I couldn't stop thinking about. No matter how many times I reminded himself she was a rebel. I couldn't push her from her mind.

"You know I honestly don't have anything to say to you, I don't car if you wanna fight or not, keep bothering me and you'll get one." I said getting up. I was done here. I turned back for a quick second. "And if my father isn't safe I will hunt you down." I turned and stared running towards the subway.

Stupid vampire was probably lying, she probably knew where my father is or not or if he had escaped. Vampires. I thought while I waited for the train that would take me to a club where I could stake out vampires. I had gone to one of the many HQ and put on an onyx black dress with silver sequins and a cross neckline and matching Jimmy Choos. The train finally arrived and I rode it all the way to New York. I got out the subway and made my way towards the club Fire where the bouncer -who I was great friends with- let me in without checking my idea, upsetting the people in line. Once I got in I made a beeline for the bar.
