Christian / Leaving the Castle

Christian felt like he needed to get out. He needed to get some air to clear his head. Perhaps he would go to a nightclub or something.

He was on the way out when he saw the face of his dear friend Brooklyn.

"Hey Christian!" she said with a smile. He waved and said,

"Hey! I'm goin out, I'll be back later. Make sure my dad doesn't freak out."

He walked out, and headed through the castle yard, he got to the street, and traveled several blocks. He could remember one of the castle servants telling him about this very nice club. Club Fire. He reached the club and walked in.

Draco Pacis | Leaving the Throne Room

I sensed his anger towards me, but left him alone force of habit. I knew he wouldn't listen to my reasoning. He never did ever since his mate's death. Since he won't listen to reason, I'm no longer of service to him or his lot. I tried to reason with him, but he shrugs my reasoning off like it was a fly. If he wants reasoning at the last second, he better not come crying to me. Once I was sure I was outside the throne room, I made a break for the drawbridge. I didn't care if the king or his offspring missed me. To hell with those who can't listen to reason from a vampire who sees both sides of the coin. I ran until I was out of the castle. For once in my whole life, I felt free from being a prisoner of the castle. At last, I could be where ever I wanted and the king wouldn't stop me. I slunk to an old hotel and took the most vacant of rooms. Once I was sure I was all by myself, I sat down and meditated on the bed.

King Charles|Throne Room

As Draco left I couldn't help but shake the feeling that I was making a huge mistake. Of course he was right. We used to live in peace with the humans as donors. Only taking as much as we need. But after that woman was killed everything became hell. At first I thought what I was doing was right but after a while I realized this was not what my wife would have wanted. When I look at my son, my pride and joy, and see the effet this war is having on him it makes me want to cry. I want to end this war but I don't know how.

Aurora|Club Fire

I had just finished dancing with some more of my admirers and had sat down to catch my breath when I saw him walk in. He look even more beautiful than he had when I first saw him. He wore a black dress shirt, black slacks, black dress shoes and a whit skinny tie. His blond hair covered his eyes and made him look like he just got done with a photo shoot. Damn, I thought.
When we locked eyes the whole room stopped and it was just him and I. My heart skipped a couple of beats when he smiled and started to walk towards me. As we stood face to face my face flushed and I was pretty sure I was blushing all over. Stop' I said inside my head. You're not supposed too feel this way he was a vampire for goodness sakes. I tired to scold myself but the attraction I felt towards him didn't waver. I was so wraaped up in my thoughts I didn't realize he was reaching towards my hand until he wrapped it in his own and the flames ignited. I wasn't sure if he felt anything but on the inside I was melting. He gave me another heart stopping smirk.
"Hi, I'm Christian." He said. It took me a while to realize he was waiting for my name and I debated whether I should give it to him or not. My attraction ruled out.
"Aurora." I said hoping I sounded relaxed.
"Aurora, what a beautiful name for a beautiful girl."

Christian / Oogling at Aurora

"A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." he said, a name suited for an angel, He thought.

He looked into her eyes for a long moment. Savoring the cool and beautiful color.

"Your eyes, Aurora, are beautiful - angelic even." he says.

"I never forgot them, ever since that moment when our eyes met. They have been the only thing I've been able to think about."

"I never forgot them, ever since that moment when our eyes met. They have been the only thing I've been able to think about." He said outright and I swooned. He seemed so serious. I looked closer into his eyes and saw the loneliness in them.
"I seem to have gotten you stuck in my head to." I admitted. "Ever since I saw you, I couldn't help but think about you even though it is wrong."

Draco Pacis | Away from the Castle

I ended my meditation with a sigh and went outside. Nothing much as happened since I ran off, which meant the king didn't know I was missing. Sooner or later, I might be missed and sought after. Whatever fate I end up getting, I just hoped it wasn't spending eternity serving the royals. None of them ever listened to me anyway, no matter how many times I said what was on my mind. I snuck into a club and just walked around, weaving from one place to the next while avoiding contact with other humans. I stopped cold when I saw Christian. I didn't know what to say, but I was surprised speechless to see him next to a human.

I started to warm up my powers to call the animals to my aid. I started chanting an ancient spell called Dormainain Presophus, in my head. Mig fot sar re mi ne ol cor lan ja graen fraejacae naet torae Saer ni ma nae gaet! I chanted this 5 times and then yelled it to the sky and prayed for the goddess to be with me in this fight with the undead. While doing this, I prayed for the safety of my parent's souls up there with the Goddess herself.

What on earth is she doing?! I thought, frightened by the thought that she may be more powerful than anticipated. I tried to move but was stuck to the spot by her chant and my fear.

He looked into her eyes, they were the only things he could focus on.

"Yeah I know, my father would freak if he know about this. But for some reason, I'm not very concerned about that." he laughed.

"Can I get you anything?" he said, gesturing to the bar.

Aurora|Club Fire

"Can I get you anything?" He asked hesuring to the bar. I thought about how many drinks I had had this evening.
"Sure," I said and we walked over to the bar. Christian smiled at me as he waved the bartender over. The bartender looked at us judgingly for a minute but Christian gave him a look and he asked for our orders.
"I take a Jack and Coke and the same for the lady here." He said and I smiled glad he didn't order me a fruity drink.

Brooklyn|walking to Stonehenge

I looked out the window and saw a girl and a boy fighting. I think.
I ran out and pushed them away from eachother. "Are you both Vampires?" I asked taking a step back. I pushed my Red hair out of my face and put it in pigtails and sighed one time. "Really?"

I growled at the new person silently vowing to kill her next.
"No, he is but I'm just a witch." I heard her say.
"Ha, THAT WAS WHY I WANTED TO KILL YOU! TO DRAIN YOU OF YOUR POWERS AND LIFE ESENCE!" I yelled, angrily.

"Woah, Vampire person, or whatever your name is! CALM DOWN. I'll rip you to peices. I swear." I looked at the guy and my Fangs appeared. I turned to the witch. "Go, your lucky i'm letting you go," I said pointing in the distance. "And for you!" I said turning to the vampire. "Your lucky I'm letting you live too. I'm going to take you to the king."
