*I'm going to try and come up with some things to happen to the captives. Feel free to contribute, I'm not sure how far you guys want to take it with the girls.*

Zaine Draxon:

Zaine gasped like a drowning man as Jaden shut his null field down. He could feel his power rushing back into the empty places inside of him, like the relentless tide of the sea. It felt so good and right. Zaine had always felt like he was suffocating whenever Jaden bound his powers. Judging by the looks on the girls faces they felt the same relief.

The four of them had been locked in a plain white room the size of a school gym. It was set up like an insane obstacle course, no rhyme or reason to the obstructions.

On the other side of the gym four hard faced men entered the room, one of them grinned lewdly at the girls. Jaden crossed his arms and leaned against the wall to watch. "I'll explain for you first timers. This is a test meant to get a handle on your powers and what you're capable of. It is a real combat situation and if you fail those men will be permitted to do whatever they want with you short of death or maiming."

Tugging the plain white t-shirt they had made him change into over his head, Zaine studied the men with a detached air. He was quickly slipping back into the mentality that had allowed him to survive Cypher's depradations the first go round. "What level?" He asked Jaden in a clipped tone of voice.

Jaden's smirk turned decidedly sinister. "Six." He said as a siren blared in the room. It clearly marked the beginning of the fight as their opponents began moving towards them.

Swearing Zaine grabbed Heather and ducked behind a barricade, gesturing for the other girls to duck as well. Heather reached up and grabbed a fist full of his hair, pulling him down to eye level with her. "What does Level Six mean?" She demanded.

Zaine shuddered. "The Level indicates the conditions required to clear the combat situation. You won't be let out of the room, fed, or watered until you clear the conditions. Six, means to the death or nearly." As Zaine finished explaining he noticed the slightly sick expressions on the girls faces. Emma had turned chalk white.

Nicholas thought. The idea was tempting. But the fact that Cypher had captured the students... wasn't so tempting. Cypher is not to be messed with. That was the first rule of Cypher. For additional rules, see rule one. Nicholas rubbed his hands together. His dramatic "escape" surely fooled the girl, but not Anastasia. She wasn't so stupid. He looked at her in the eye. Was this job to rescue her grandson really worth his time? He was already supposed to kill the girl, but... Oh, whatever.

He smiled. "I accept your proposal, Anastasia Draxon."
He stumbled slightly, the limp in his leg still there. He dared not to look at the place he used to call home. He could feel the heat from the fire, the fire that he himself had ignited. He blinked back tears, as he limped away.

*is trying to get in the story*

Lylax Moonset

The sound of unrest and confusion echoing across the school was not a really good welcome for a new student that is Lylax. Classes were disorganized because no one of the students and the teachers could completely shift their focus back to school reality. Lylax heard that there had been students kidnapped and thought that this school is not really ‘safe’ for people like him. At the end of the day, he had made no friends, but he’d already expected it and the frustration around him was certainly no good sign. He sighed… out of the anxiety that had been spread in the school, and once more, he sighed… relieved because of the fact that his parents decided not to make him stay in the school dormitory. He thought he’d be safe… and he was indeed safe, safe until he thought it was still early to go home and followed that one girl who had been ‘sniffing’ around, out of curiosity, until the airport… He panted heavily; it was unexpectedly difficult to keep up.

...Curiosity can kill.

After flirting with a airport clerk for ten minutes he finally told me that a plane had left for Chicago a couple of hours ago. I had boarded the next express plane there and was currently reading a magazine. I had fallen asleep when a stewardess woke me up and told me that we were landing. I didn't have to worry about baggage claim so I headed straight outside hid in the shadows and turned back into a wolf. The scent picked up again and I followed it to an empty part of the city to a big facility. I shifted into a bear and waited out planning my rescue.

*Hope you don't mind if I based Cypher in Chicago.*

I closed my eyes and started to whisper a chant that I had mastered a few years ago it was one of the only ways I could control what I did. I felt Heather stiffen and Zaine flinched just slightly. I opened my eyes and saw what they could only feel. "Hello Mary, Elizabeth, Jack." I greeted calmly some of the most famous murderers in history. "What do you need?" Mary asked already grabbing an axe as blood started to form on her hands. "Yes what did you summon us for?" Elizabeth asked boredly. "We need to escape alive." I replied. They grinned and disappeared. I turned to Emma, Heather, and Zaine as a few guards started to scream in pain and terror. "I can only help so much. You guys need to do your part." I hissed concentration on the spirits. "What did you do?" Emma asked. "Elizabeth Balthory, Bloody Mary Queen of Scots and Jack the Ripper did it darling not me." I replied. I heard the guards that were not being attacked starting to look for us. "C'mon we need to do this!" I urged under my breath.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."

"But you have heard of me."

Lylax stood there, in front of the airport, realizing that he had come very far. Following a girl who can shapeshift had caught his interest too much. He looked at the sky and saw the sun already beginning to set. Lylax decided that he should just take a taxi and go home. Suddenly, a taxi had stopped beside him.

How did the driver know I was going to take a taxi? Lylax wondered, but entered the taxi without hesitation.

He spoke, “Please take me to—”

“Unfortunately, kid, I won’t be taking you anywhere,” the driver said as he turned his head to face Lylax. His whole head was concealed by a black mask.

There was a white flash and suddenly, he found himself at the corner of a big white room, sitting on the floor. He could see people fighting near the center.

“Jaden, I found this boy following a shapeshifter who is tracking us,” he heard his capturer talking to someone called ‘Jaden’ a few meters away. “He seems to be a new student of Tarragon. What do we do with him?”

Lylax’s eyes began to tremble in fear. He felt helpless, regretting that he followed that girl.

Spoiler
*Lylax's capturer can be another security officer or something. I can't be active enough to be making another character. xD But so far, we know that he's skilled at teleportation.

*Thanks, Zaine was getting tired of being the only guy among the captives.*

Zaine Draxon:

Zaine's rage boiled over as a new captive was bought in. He turned his back on the fight to meet Jaden's widening eyes. Inside him, his power rose up like a tsunami in response to his anger. And Zaine knew he didn't have a hope in hell of damming it up.

Swearing Jaden leaped forward shoving his fellow soldier to the floor. Paint peeled from the wall Zaine glared at the metal beneath turning red with rust and falling in sheets to the floor. As the most lethal aspect of Zaine's power surfaced, he heard one of the girls cry out in pain.

Zaine whirled around to glare at one of the men who had Heather by the hair. He met Zaine's eyes with a cruel smirk, and it was the last mistake he ever made. The would be rapist couldn't even scream as his body aged and decayed in the blink of an eye. From a vibrant young man to a wrinkled aging one. To a body, then a skeleton and then he was no more then a pile of dust on the floor. Hundreds, perhaps thousands of years passed for him in a matter of seconds.

Groaning Zaine pressed a hand to the side of his head and felt the familiar sticky sensation that meant he was bleeding from his ears. He gasped and fell to his knees, fighting to stay conscious.

*Zaine's done his part to help fight the group, also that wall he damaged would be pretty easy to break right about now.*

I had my chance. I had been listening to the commotion going on inseide and it sounded like Zaine had just used a lot of his power. I shifted back into a wolf and busted through the weakened wall. People scattered away from the wall and I took down the first person I saw. Before a second passed I had shifted back into me and shut off all of the Cypher agents senses. Making sure I had everyone I ran over to Zaine. He had blood coming out of his ears and I sar him upright. Then I ran over to Heather and Emma. They were barely conscious. Finally I ran over to a guy who they must have just brought in. He was alive just a little shaken.
I turned into a horse and hoisted them all over my shoulder. Their combined weight slowed me down but adrenaline had set in and I ran as fast as I could towards the city. I set them gently on the ground before I changed back and tried to remember what Jessie had taught me about hot wiring a car.
When I heard the engine rev I piled them all in and drove to a hotel. I dimmed everybody in the buileding's eyesight and got us a room and the key. After I had gotten everybody upstairs, I returned everybody's eyesight and passed out on the floor. Physically and mentally spent.

Swearing loudly I kicked a guard soldier whatever in the chest I whooped in happiness as Aurora burst in. I grabbed on behind Zaine keeping him upright on Aurora as I summoned more spirits to keep the agents busy. I closed my eyes as a black wave took away my vision. We made it into a room and after we all were dropped our sight came back. I opened my eyes and groaning loudly curled into a ball unsummoning the spirits. "We all accounted for?" I asked slipping into unconciousness. "Yeah." Heather answered. "Good." I said passing out.

*Sorry I haven't written in awhile*

The battle passed in a confused blur. The devastation that took place in those few moments was excrutiating. First, Emma heard the cries of the guards being tortured by who knows what, then Heather's shriek followed by the guard deteriorating right before Emma's eyes, Zaine's bleeding ears, and finally being swept up by some horse thing. Emma became so confused, she rolled off the horse's back and crashed to the floor with a loud thunk as the air was thrown from her lungs, only to be dragged back onto the horse by several ungentle hands.
Emma felt like she couldn't breathe as she was coraled into the car and up into the hotel room. When she finally had her breath back, her throat was clogged by tears she was trying to fight down.
"Do you have any idea what you just did?" she snapped at Zaine. He looked at her, shock showing through the exhaustion in his eyes.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"You killed a man back there," she said, "you killed a man!" She glared at him, trying to quell the rising flood with the fire of her anger.
"He was going to-" Zaine started.
"I don't care if he was going to chop open our heads and eat our livers," Emma yelled, "you still didn't have to kill him! Immobilize him, fine, but kill him. It was completely unneccessary!" Emma felt like she couldn't speak anymore, she was fighting a losing battle against her tears. She collapsed onto the bed, shaken, scared, confused, and tired. So tired. She just wanted to go home.
"Emma!" Heather croaked through gritted teeth. Emma gasped and pulled back her power. Everyone in the room breathed a sigh of relief.
"I'm sorry," Emma said, covering her mouth, "I'm so sorry. I-I..." Emma couldn't take it anymore. She got up and ran from the room, her vision blurred by tears that wouldn't stop. She'd hurt everyone she'd ever cared about and now all she'd done at this stupid school was learn to care about more people to hurt, and punished her saviors. She hated her power with every moral fiber of her being, and she loathed herself for not having the strength to control it. She was giving all she had to fight this power, and it just wasn't enough. Would it ever be enough? Would she ever be enough?

Aurora

I summoned my last bit of energy and ran after Emma. When I found her she was curled up on the floor crying. I sat next to her and wrapped my arms around her.
"I know how it feels, not wanting your power, feeling like you can't control. But we were given these powers for a reason and like it or not you're stuck with them. It will be enough. Someday when we figure all this out and put an end to all our doubt." She shook in my arms and cried even more. "At least that's what I tell myself eveyday. Zaine did what he had to do, don't fault him for trying to protect you all he was very brave." She looked up at me through tear striken eyes and nodded.
"Let's go back inside.

Lylax Moonset

The frustration and anxiety back in the school were nothing compared to the anguish inside the room. Everything that had happened was a rather huge shock for Lylax. He was both in awe and in fear of what he’d seen. For certain, Lylax wasn’t so safe anymore and he was having no idea what was going on. He was quite relieved that he was ‘saved’ from chaos in the white room but, witnessing what that Zaine guy was capable of, he felt still he was unsafe.

Lylax exhaled heavily and leaned on and hugged his knees, trying to calm himself. He closed his eyes and cleared his mind. And then, in a few moments, snowflakes had begun appearing in the air. Everyone else was starting to get calm. The air also got a bit chilly.

Aurora came out to talk to Emma. Emma could barely hear what she was saying, but the fact that someone was there was comforting.
Emma didn't understand why other people's pain seemed to be worse than her own. Emma led herself be sheperded back into the hotel room, refusing to look at Zaine. She sat down on the sofa and, after mumbling a general apology to the room, fell asleep as soon as her head hit the couch. She awoke to someone knocking loudly on the door.
"We've got to leave," someone said. Emma was still too groggy to make out who it was, "NOW!"
