The Storybook management tools are brilliant -- the amount of functionality already in place is astounding! This will give SBers great opportunities to manage and enjoy their creations!

The hot topics section seems to list the name of the latest poster under the byline instead of the name of the person who created the topic. hehe.

are you a green room knight yet?

The storybook updates are great! I think those will be really helpful for reviving the storybooks. :D :D :D Thank you Nate!

Thanks Charlie and sapi!

Re: Hot Topics ->> I wasn't sure whether to have it display the last poster of the topic or to display the poster who created the topic. I ended up going with the former since I figured that'd be more helpful, but I could certainly change it to the topic creator if people think that makes more sense.

I like that the New Posts displays the last poster -- very neat! -- but I'd agree that it would probably be clearer if Hot Topics showed the original poster.

I really really love love love the new Storybook tools. Really adore. Words cannot express how happy they make me. That there's a link to the DT! And characters! And the profiles are sublime. I could keep singing their praises for the next four years or something but you'd all be bored by then.

If there was one small teeny tiny thing I would say (and if not it's cool because I'm in love with the features anyway), it'd be that when reading profiles today I kind of wished you could go from one profile to another without heading back onto the main page. But considering how much easier these features have made my life I really can't complain about something so small.

Thanks a lot Nate!

Sounds like a good idea to me, Stella. I'll go ahead and add that in tonight when I fix some of the bugs.

Edit

Just changed the way "Hot Topics" works. First, it shows the original poster rather than the most recent poster. Second, it now shows the five topics with the most posts over the last two days. Previously, it was showing the five most recent posts from topics with more than 10 posts, which meant it was only a little different from the "New Posts" block.

Oh, you know what might also be nice? If people got notifications for SBs they're in, before making the first post in them. Before, by booking the place or posting the character profile, one would have a post in the SB and hence get notified when another person posts. This way, before making my first post, I can't tell if anyone's already posted without checking it every few minutes - and it'd be useful to know c:

Also, we could use a link to the SB from the DT. Because we're spoiled now :3

No problem Aria, but in the future, please say "please" :)

Doing this stuff takes time, and it's just easier when people say please and thank you. It's just a small thing, but it goes a long way.

Uh-um. Thanks, Nate! ;)

In truth, I think this is extremely awesome. I just can't get enough of it and I want to make so many Storybooks but that wouldn't end up well, so thank you, thank you, thank you!

...say my excuse is the fact I admitted being spoiled up there :3

Really, though, I always say thank you! But you're right, I didn't this time, so pretty please, Nate, be awesome some more and get me a bit more addicted to SBs than I already am - but don't let it put too much pressure on you, seeing that clicking two things instead of one doesn't really pose that much of a problem to me and it takes time for you to do all the work you're doing for us c:

Am I forgiven now?

The new storybook features are awesome, Nate! I'm very tempted to dive right in and play with all the new features in there. Thanks for that.
The new trophies are also really awesome. I can't wait to see what new ones you bring in.

Yep, more trophies are on the way! I should actually start up a small design competition since the main barrier at this point is just making the things. The ones for the Green Knights were made by Hannah, and are great. The ones I've made... not so much.
