The moment the men dove in, I dove right back out, shivering. I was not staying right there with all of the guys in the group tearing off their clothes... And Tess. Tess would do what she wanted regardless. My problem was the men. It was weird... And then I spotted it. The solution to our problems. A fallen tree, still covered in leaves, in the river. It made an effective wall, and was upstream. The river was surrounded by bushes on the banks. "Everlee... What if we use that side?" I asked, pointing to it. "You guys can go in, and I'll keep an eye out while gathering wood for the fire."
I stared as the men in our group pulled off their shirts and ran into the water. I then quickly looked away, blushing as red as a tomato. I covered my eyes and tried to run behind a tree. Instead I smacked right into it. I got up and ran around it.
"I am NOT going in there!" I called.
"There is no way I am going to take a bath in front of a bunch of shirtless guys!"
Everlee chuckled, and Elise snickered.
"Oh, they aren't just shirtless, my dear." Tess called from the river.
My face felt like it was on fire. Poca started to laugh at me. I pulled my hair in front of my eyes and refused to come out from behind the tree. I would rather smell like dirt then see...yeah...
(hehe! Man, you guys are going to have a hard time getting her in the water!)

I dive head-first into the water and sigh as the cold water hits my bare skin. It's just the right kind of cold, clean and pure. I pop out of the water, shaking my head. I swim over to the bank where the water is only waist deep and call out to Seena. She's looking at me like... what? I think. That can't be right. I'm covered in crap, I don't look that good. Though, I am proud of my washboard stomach. I wave to her and she blushes before walking over.
"You're wearing pants, right?" She asks before getting too close.
"Uh yea?" I say. "Why wouldn't I be?" I ask, confused.
She turns even redder. "Just checking." She says. Her eyes keep wandering up and down me and I grin.
"You like what you see, Sweetness?" Her previous red pales in comparison to her current crimson.
"No! Well, uh I mean.... well yes but.... What did you want!?" I laugh at her perplexion.
"I was just wondering if you could hand me the soap, I want to wash this pink crap out of my hair. It's in my pack." She nods without a word and goes to get the soap. An evil idea begins to form in my pink head. When she comes back with my soap cake, I motion her closer to the edge. She crouches closer, and I pretend that I can't reach. Seena sighs, and comes even closer. Perfect. I think.
I grab her by the collar and pull her in head-first, cloths and all. She screams as she goes in, and gurgles as the water covers her head. I'm laughing so hard my sides hurt. She breaks the surface of the water slowly with her hair in her face and an evil glare. I laugh even harder because her hair is half-pink from where I hugged her earlier. She grins from behind her hair, and even I get a chill from it.
"You are sooooo dead." She says. Then she launches herself at me. We start to water wrestle, trying to get the other underwater first. We're laughing and choking, (and occasionally kissing) as we splash and generally make a lot of noise.
When we take a break, I see that our wrestling match has started mini water fights among all or companions. Everybody but Sheara is in the water now, and everybody is throwing water over a log seperating girls and boys.
Seena laughs. "I'd better go join my gender in beating the boys in a water fight." She says. I nod and kiss her gently.
"Okay." I whisper aginst her lips. "Good luck with that. You're going to loose." She splashes water in my face and laughs. She turns and runs out of the water.
"You're going down, Dark Rogue!" She shouts.
I laugh, but swim over to Sheara. "Why arent you swimming, Sissy?"
She looks embarrassed. "Well, I don't want to ruin Poca's dress, and I didn't bring a change of cloths..."
I grin. "I think I can help you with that.
She looks at me, clearly scared, and I laugh.

Somehow, the water fight starts out of no where. I'm suddenly in the water in just my undershirt and pants splashing Tess as unbelieveably hard as I can possibly manage.
You're not going to have fun tonight when you're shivering from being wet and cold, Darren says.
I back off Tess with a laugh and look around. Everybody's in the water except Reva and Sheara. Davnick's trying to coax Sheara in, but from here, it doesn't look like he's getting far. Rayden and Lydia are still missing... And now, Jared's wandered off down the river.
I feel a small splash beside me. I turn to see Skylar, smiling uncertainly as if asking me to play.
Don't... You can't. It'll only make it harder later, Darren warns.
But... I can't completely ignore him...
Then what are you going to tell him to explain why you are ignoring him?
I don't know! Darren, help me! I cry for help.
As if in answer, Tess runs by, almost completely naked. I look to her hand and see she's found the candy. She jumps into the water screaming about being chased by some panda bear and starts throwing balls of water into everyone's faces. I turn around and run towards her, leaving Skylar standing alone.
"Tess! Where'd you get the candy?" I demand.
"Don't try to take away my child you fiend!" she calls.
"I'm not trying to take away your child, just the candy," I try to explain, but it's pointless.
"Liar!" Tess yells. "You are the Princess of Limbabway come to take away the child! Don't you..." she cuts off, looking at a floating piece of wood. She reaches up and grabs my shirt, pulling down so I'm looking at the wood. Tess turns her head and gets really close to my face.
She opens her mouth and waits a long minute before she speaks. "Hi," she whispers.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me Tess," I mutter, standing up. She loses her balance and falls into the water again, head first. She splashes.
"I'm drowning in lava!" she screams.
"No, you're not. It's not even knee deep."
Tess stands up and screams, pointing to a rock. "It's a lava fish!" she screams. Then she looks at me with a criptic look. "Lava fishes. They hide where you least expect them... in the lava!"
"Tess, this is rediculous," I mutter, my mind still on Skylar.
"No," she says, pouting. "You are readouquilous," she says in the weirds pronunciation I have ever heard someone say rediculous.
I sigh. "Fine, how do you like water?" I ask, splashing her in the face with a ball of water.
Her face darkens. "Die zombie!" she screams, and then attacks.
(tell me if I need to change anything!)

I was still trailing my sisters friends, and still carrying the sleeping Lydia- she was sleeping.
"How can you be sleeping?" I said to her, knowing she wouldn't answer. I didn't care though, I often talked to myself- bad habit that I never grew out of.
"Well Liddy my dear I think you must have worn yourself out. Why else would you be sleeping so peacefully slung over some ruffians shoulder?" I continued using the last name she had scream at me. "Well I hope you sleep well, but I don't envy you the headache you will have- sleeping upside down isn't good for you. all the blood rushes to your head. I wonder why it does that? I wonder if you hung upside down enough, would all the blood in your body collect in your head? I know they use that as a form of torture but I never understood why."
I stopped momentarily to shift Lydia's weight to my other shoulder.
"You know sweet cheeks? you are very light, much too light in fact- don't you ever eat? you know I'll let you in on a little secret, most men don't like twigs. I mean, we like shapely women, but not bones with skin- well at least the men worth wanting. You should try eating sometime- it's good for you. You being so skinny isn't a horrible thing, it makes you easy to carry but you don't seem healthy- your hip bones are digging into my shoulder like all-get-out!" I started off again down the road a little faster, I wanted to get to them before their trail went cold.
*****
An hour later I heard it- splashing and voices.
"Thank god!" I shouted and in five minutes was standing at the top of the steep riverbank looking down at everyone- playing. I grinned, it was nice to see them having fun for once, Seena was laughing wildly splashing Davnick- who happened to be shirtless.
"Aw crap! so much for protecting you sisters virtue Rayden" I said storming down the back, well more trying not to tumble down it and kill either myself or Lydia.
when I reached the bottom I looked around, no one had taken notice of me yet. I set Dante's weapon form down against a tree and walked to the bank;.
"Rise and shine sleepy beauty." I said to Lydia poking her in her ribs. she made a mumbling sleep noise and didn't wake up. "Fine have it your way." I heaved her off my shoulder and chucked her into the river. She came up screaming, I grinned....
(Again I am so sorry this is so late! and whoever wants to push Rayden into the water by all means do so! XDD)

Unfortunately im being sent to bed... Apparently you arent supposed to say im 18 i do what i want to your mom when shes tired... See y'all in the morning
I peeked from behind the tree, blushing. I didn't want to say anything about him being shirtless, that was just way too...akward. I went with my second problem.
"Well, I don't want to ruin Poca's dress, and I didn't bring a change of cloths..." I looked down at the dirty pink dress. I felt bad I had taken care of it so badly.
Davy grinned.
"I think I can help you with that."
My eyes widened, I was scared to death. He laughed at my embarrassment.
"Umm...how exactly?" I peeped.
"Well, we can find a spot where no one else is, then I will wait on shore while you can undress and go in the wat-"
I freaked out. "NO WAY! Not in a billion years!" I gasped in horror. "I would never-"
"I havent finished!" Davy raised his arms to get me to calm down.
"As I was saying, while you change and go into the water, ect, I can create a shadow thick enough to cover the section of river you will be bathing in." He finished.
I thought about it for a second. That could work...wait...but what if the shadow isn't thick enough? What if the river pushes me out of the shadow?! What if Davy gets attacked on shore or is distracted?! What if...what if... My mind went through several other possiblities. I felt my face get redder and redder.
"No...I don't want to Davy..." He looked offended.
"What, you don't trust me?" He made a pouty face.
"No! It isn't that! I do trust you! It is just that...that..." I covered my mouth and pulled some hair in my face. I was NOT liking the situation at ALL.
"I can just get a wash cloth and dab myself with it! That would work too, I don't have to get in the water...I don't want to..." I asked, trying to be as nice as possible.
(Sorry it is short, but you are better at writing as Davy than me, so I will leave most of his diolage to you, Razzle. If that is alright...tell me if I need to change anything!)
"I can just get a wash cloth and dab myself with it! That would work too, I don't have to get in the water...I don't want to..." Sheara stumbles. I put on a sad face.
"If you don't trust me Sissy, just say so. I can take it; I'm a big boy." I look away, depression clear on my face. I know her face is twisting with the choice in front of her. Finally I hear her groan.
"Okay Davy. But I'm still going to wear my under dress..." She mumbles. I beam at her.
"That's just fine!" I say, jumping out of the water. "Lets head upstream! I'll just grab... some soap..." I say, looking around for my bar. I can't find it anywhere on the riverbank. "Where the...?" I think. Then I remember Seena had grabbed it earlier, and I smack myself in the head. "Dang it..." I mumble.
"What is it Davy?" Sheara asks.
"My soap is downriver..." I say. Stupid, stupid, stupid! I think. Luckily, Sheara pipes up.
"I have some." She says. I smile.
"Okay, go grab it. Meet me upriver, past where the rest of the girls are." I start to walk upstream as Sheara runs off, but Rayden walks up to me. "Hey there, glad to see you fond your way here!" I say, plastering a smile on my face. He glares at me.
"I saw you pawing at my sister Tarish. Don't let me catch you two at it again." He glares at my naked chest, clearly wanting me to put a shirt on.
Oh if you only knew, Rayden. I think smugly. If you only knew how often I've hugged your sister. Kissed her even. Oh, you would kill me... guess it's our little secret from you then. "Sure thing, dude." Is what I say out loud. He turns away and crouches next to the river to wash his face. I begin to walk away, but a wicked idea pops into my head. I covertly wave Darsor over. He trots up and sits in front of me.
"What is it, Davnick?" He asks. I motion for him to speak quieter.
"You don't really like Rayden, am I correct?" I whisper. He nods furiously. I grin. "How would you feel about having a little fun with him?" I ask.
He looks to Reva for a moment, then back to me with an animal smile. "What exactly did you have in mind?" He asks.
...
I creep up behind Rayden, wrapped in light. Are you sure this will hide me? I think at Darsor. I don't really feel different. I can feel his confirming nod in my head.
Absolutely. He wont be able to see you, no matter how hard he tries.
If you say so. I think back. I move silently so I'm right behind Rayden. He's still bending down near the river, washing his arms and face. I snicker silently as I move into position. Ready? Darsor nods. One... two... THREE!
On three, I plant a foot in Raydens back, propelling him forward into the river. He gives a shout before his face smacks the water. I contain my laughter as he re-surfaces, sputtering and shouting. "Who did that!?" He shouts, looking around. "Tarish!? Where are you!?" He bellows.
Right on cue, Darsor walks over. "He's upstream with Sheara." He says casually, covering for me. "She needed cover for her bath, she was to embarrassed to get in the water." I smile as Rayden flusters.
"Then who the..." He mumbles to himself. I leave behind Darsor silently as Rayden soggily pulls himself out of the river, grumbling and cursing. When Darsor and I are out of earshot, I burst out laughing.
"Did you see his face!?" I giggle. Darsor is chuckling with me.
"That was a splendid idea. I'm glad I could help cooling that stinking fire rogue off!" He growls. I wipe a tear from my eye.
"Well, I sure appreciate it. Thanks Darsor." I hold out a hand, and he looks at it funny for a second, then grabs it.
"Not a problem. Just call me if you ever need help taking that fire rogue down a notch." I nod, and he makes his way back to Reva. I walk upstream to where Sheara is standing near the river nervously.
"Ready Sissy?" I ask. She nods and I turn away from her, putting my hands over my eyes. "Okay, I'm ready too!" I say. I stand there for a few moments, but I don't hear the rustling of clothing.
"Davy, don't use your sonar, okay?" She mumbles. I snort.
"What, do you think I'm some kind of pervert or something?" I say. She starts to protest but I wave it away. "Just change Sheara." I say. I feel a pressure on my chest but I don't move or open my eyes. I can feel Poca's little paws digging into my skin.
"Don't you-dare...peek Dar-Davnick. I will...rip-out your eyes... and eat-them for... a snack!" I grimace disgustedly.
"Why do you two assume I'm a peeper? I mean, just because I used to be a bounty hunter doesn't mean I like to peep at girls! The two don't even have anything to to with each other! I was raised to respect women you know!"
"Used to-be a... bounty hunter?" Poca asks, her halting words full of meaning. "Does that mean-you...are going to...stop-turning in-Rogues?"
"Of course!" I say, bit I hadn't really thought about it. Being a bounty hunter was all I knew, the only thing I had ever done. Could I really leave that part of me behind forever? I think of how analitically I thought of Lidya earlier, how I had pretended to be sad so Sheara would let me help her. Would I ever actually stop being Davnick Tarish, a bounty hunter with a bounty on his own head?
Sheara calls out, saving me from my choking thoughts. "I'm sorry Davy! And I'm ready.... could you use that dark thing please?" I nod and create a dark cloud in the area of her voice. "Oh it's dark in here." She mumbles. I make the clout a little thiner and make a hole in the top for the sun to shine through. "Thanks Davy!" Sheara says. I hear splashing as she gets into the water. Eventually, Poca jumps off my chest to co get herself cleaned off.
So I'm left standing alone, eyes closed, no sonar. I hate not being able to see with a passion. My spine begins to tingle and I could swear somebody is watching me. Then I hear it. Somebody is calling my name softly, just within earshot. My nerves are all standing on edge. What is the most irritating is that I know I know the voice from somewhere, I just can't put my finger on it. The calling slowly gets louder, and its all I can do to not flare my sonar. I grind my teeth and clench my fists as my instinct scream for me to switch it on.
Sheara screams behind me and I spin without thinking, opening my eyes. I realize that my lapse in concentratation has cause me to let the cloud go transparent. Before I can turn around fully, Poca slams into me, soaking wet and the size of Darren. We fall to the ground and before anybody can say anything, there is a loud ZZZAAP! noise, and everybody downstream screams.
(Okay, in case this was too vague, Sheara freaked out and everybody in the river got shocked.)

After I climbed back out, I didn't want to get back in. My shoulder was burning with pain and I was blocking Darsor out in order to keep hiding the wound. I had ripped it open repeatedly over the course of the day and the blood was soaking my already soaked tunic, making it obvious what was happening. So instead of returning to the water, I quickly gathered wood and started a fire for everyone. The water was cold and the day would soon be cooling off, so a warm fire would be much appreciated. Once it was built, I realized how cold I was in my wet clothes. They weren't drying off very quickly and it was becoming uncomfortable.
I opened my pack and started searching through for my spare tunic, the one I had been hit with the dagger in. I had changed my top not long after because the rip in my spare would reveal the wound and I couldn't reach it to bandage the wound. I reached my spare and sighed, I would have to wear my wet breeches, because I didn't have a spare of those.
"Keep looking," Darsor commanded, suddenly before me. He was smiling happily at me, a smile that made me feel at ease for once.
"I already know that I-"
He dove his head into the bag and came back out with a blue peasant skirt and corset. Where did that come from?
"I thought it would suit you Reva, so I bought it when I was last in town, before all the chaos."
I smiled lightly. "Thank you."
He nodded and flounced off, clearly pleased with his choice.
Once he was gone I looked at the skirt with dislike. There was a reason I never wore them, they were completely impractical. One couldn't stand in a tree in one, kick with one, and they were very... Feminine. But if Darsor had gone out of his way to hide it in my pack and was so pleased with it, I supposed I could survive a few hours in it while my breeches dried. I went off to change. Spoiler
That's what the dress looks like, except the bottom is the same color as the vest and it isn't those colors...
When I returned, everyone was still in the river, even Rayden was wet, but they were grumbling something about an electric shock. Still, no one seemed willing to leave the refreshing water just yet. I sat down near the fire and started digging around in my pack again for my two mirrors. I held one in front of me and the other behind, trying to see my wound. Surely, If I got both at just the right angle, it would be revealed?
I had no such luck. By the time I gave up my shoulder was burning more painfully than ever before and I still had yet to glimpse the state of the cut. I reached over my shoulder and started adjusting the tear in the white tunic in order to see it, to no avail. No matter how I tried, I couldn't see the cut. I sighed heavily and buried my face in my hands. "Fine Darsor, come check it. I can't see for myself, how bad is the cut?" I asked in defeat. He was still nearby, I knew that much.
I smiled at the water and immediately took off my jacket, now in my camisole. I ran into the water and began twirling around the girl's side. I felt... high for some reason. I looked over to the boy's side and saw Jared shirtless. I skilled and walked over to the log. Jared was right beside it, but he was facing against me. I giggled and took him by the shoulder, so he's facing me, and I kissed him. I pulled away an giggled.
"The water feels so good!" I cried. I ran back to the girl's side and began twirling around in the water.
Skylar
I didn't take long in the water. I just didn't feel good. I grabbed my shirt off a branch and gripped it in my hands. I sat down under the tree and hit my head against it. What's wrong with me? Why would Everlee suddenly... dislike and avoid me? I look at where Everlee splashing around and smiled. But my smile disappeared when Everlee didn't take one glance at me. I hit my head against the tree again until I hear a loud zap!
I watch as everyone in the stream gets shocked, including Everlee. Everlee! I drop my shirt and run to the girl's side. I ran towards Everlee and helped her up. She didn't really take a glance at me, she just stared at the water. I let go of her arm and bow my head. I walked back towards the tree and sit under it again, hitting my head against it over and over. Is this really how love feels like?
The water came up over my head and I felt it soak instantly through my clothing as I sank down. Where the heck was I, what was I doing in--a lake? A river? I swam up quickly and removed my boots, tossing them on the shore. Infront of me was Rayden. And instantly, I lunged towards my boots, no knife, no piston. I looked back to him.
"YOU FILTHY LITTLE FREAK! YOU THIEF!" I screamed, my hair was an absoloute mess and soaking wet and the large white shirt I was wearing was pulling me down. I reached forward and yanked on his ankle hoping to get him in the water. But my efforts are made easier something pushing his back, forcing him in. He lands in the water a good few feet infront of me. I try and lunge at him but I am quite honestly--too heavy. That's a new one.
I strip off the shirt that was plastered to my body. Beneeth is a light bodice and it will be thousands easier to swim in. I duck under and swim towards him. kicking my feet hard and popping up hopefully close to him. It was, close enough.
"Why does my head feel like it's about to split open?" I hissed. The water was helping a little but not much. And right now, again, he looked distracted. "And where is my knife? Or my gun?" I asked jabbing him in the chest with three fingers. I wanted to know how I got here but the answer was apparent. He had carried me. Ugh I wanted to puke. He had carried me like some child here and then thrown me in the water. I dunked myself underwater and let out a scream. Calm my nerves. I popped back up and stared around me, all the boys in the water, everyone thinking of the shock that had come earlier no doubt. I massaged my temples while waiting for Rayden's answer. I wanted my weapons.
Niyah found herself in the water before she even realized what was happening; laughing and splashing at Everlee, Seena, Elise, and Reva, It had all started when Reva pointed out the fallen tree. All the girls, of course, had been elated. They all wandered over too it's trunk, stripping down to their undergarments, and leaping in joyously. Well, everyone except for Reva. As soon as she saw the clear green hued water she jumped in-clothes and all. I new better though. Her clothes were just as dirty as she was, and Niyah decided to get them washed and out drying before she got in. So, while the others were swiming and laughing, Niyah was left in her grungy off-white chmise; scrubbing at her skirt and shirt. "What'chya doin'?" Elise asked, smimming up beside her. Her eyes glistened with excitment, and Niyah was glad to see that-along with all the dirt- they were washing away the worries of the last few days as well. "Cleaning my clothes." Niyah replied with a smile. Elises eyes widened, and she cursed. "Ah, I should have thought of that." she hung up her skirt, wiping a damp hand across her forehead. "Done. Finally." Niyah sighed, standing and turning away from the river. Elise smiled slyly. "Now, all I have to do is find some..." And the next thing I knew splash! "Elise!" she gasped, rising to the surface. Elise laughed, swimming circles around her. "Didn't expect that, did you, metal rogue?" Niyah glared. And then she did it- she splashed at Elise. But Elise ducked, and the water flew over her and landed on Everlee instead. "What the..." she saw Niyah, hands still in the water, and with a flick of her wrist a wall of water came crashing down. As she rose again, Niyah could hear Elise's maniacal laughter. And then she was whacked with a stream of water again. We all glared at one another. "Now it's war." Everlee said, streaking water across her cheeks. After that was only a blur of water and laughter, and then there was a huge shock that sent everyone flying out of the water. Niyah crawled onto shore, happy but tiered. She stared up at the sunset, and for the first time in a while she found herself really smiling.
I leaned back after elise's sudden kiss. "This water feels so good!" she shouted, turning to splash others. I stared in shock, feeling the blood rise to my face. Suddenly i was falling backwards. Right behind Rayden. i heard him scream as the splash hit him in the back. I looked up, fear spread across me as I saw the loo in his eye. "You. Are. Dead." he said menacingly and then jumped towards me. We tackled each other, diving in and out of the water. I couldn't breathe, but that might have been from laughing. I put my hand underwater and sent a tornado towards the surface. It picked up water, about a gallon or two. I smiled, and sent it hurtling towards Rayden. he tried to run, but too late. If it was possible to be soaked past soaking, Rayden had done it. Now I really was dead.
(Mwahahaha! I just soaked the most wanted rogue in the country! Bwhahahaha!!)
