The Four Treasures

"hmmm.... a little less freindly than i would expect after helping you and your group if you can call it that, wtih those Djinn" driznardren stated not caring or not noticing that a blade was drawn against him. Firerunner stepped up besides his master fangs bared, eyes on fire, a deep growl issuing from his throught. "i was just wondering if there was anything i could do, since i was in the neighborhood, and firerunner and i havent had any fun in quite a while, and a quest with many monsters and enemies to blast and burn might amuse us".

"I did not ask for, nor did I need, your help in dealing with the Djinn, drow. Give me a reason I should not cut you down where you stand, Creature of Chaos, Servant of Llolth."

Seraph's lips tightened in a grimace as he spread his feet apart in a fighter's stance, ready to spring into action should the situation warrant it. The rest of the tavern was stunned at the sudden appearance of the drow, and the quick reaction of the crimson-garbed Templar. Seraph looked to his companions, seeking their reaction.

"first i am no servant of lolth,although i guess you could still call me a creature of chaos, second you have no idea of what i am capable of, third if you managed to strike me down firerunner would surely rip out your throaght" i said coldly, firerunner getting ready to pounce. "But then again why should you die, it would be pointless to die so early in your journey, dont you have someone to avenge? someone to kill beside me? hm...." he quesiton the warrior. "and why make another enemy this day?" he questioned his gaze meeting seraphs.

"I drew my blade* Yes quickly explain why you are here."
I look around waiting to see if me and Seraph were the only supious one.
Hours seem to fly pass until someon speaks.

"Underestimating my enemies is not in my nature. I do tihnk you to be overestimating the worth of your companion, however. I have dispatched worse." His words were simple, but they carried the weight of a threat. "If you do not follow Llolth, who DO you follow? You claim to be a follower of chaos. I will not travel with a willing servant of Chaos unless it furthers my own cause. What do you bring to our party?" Seraph asked, slightly owering his blade.

I see Seraph lower his blade so i stick my sword back in my scabbard. "Anyone ever thought of asking Valin about him he is elve after all, i'm half elve and i feel hatred for him, but if you trust him Seraph i won't complain." I sit back down and drink some more ale.

"i serve no god, exactaly, i am not exactally a creature of chaos, i just like to watch it happen, i may be underestimating my companion, but who knows what would happen; but lets not find out shall we, im not exactally feeling up to fighting a large band of people all by myself at the moment". "i am a socerer, and since from what i can tell you dont have a mage of anytype among your group, nor do you have a hellhound. Also traveling with a drow might inflict fear upon your enemeis like it did upon you." i clearly stated smiling

Seraph

I grinned right back, almost laughing aloud.

"Fear? Hardly. I have nothing to fear from your kind. Your heritage does not concern me. Only what side of the spectrum you lie on. Skin color matters not to me. Your actions define who you are in my eyes, not where you come from." I glanced at Croak when I said this.

By nature, the poor beast was of Chaos. By action he seemed to be willing to follow whatever he thought was right. This, alone, was enough to spark my interest.

"A sorceror, eh? You join our cause...out of boredom? Hardly a just reason to do anything."

"fear, maybe not you, but there are some , thats why a spell of invisibility comes in handy, and yes i am bored. another reason is that i need to perfect my technique and this may be the perfect situation to do so, and what else am i to do, sit around here, to do nothing, i am an elf of adventure and i need to get back out on the, road, well. lets just say i have reasons." i answered taking a step forward.

At the mention of fear, Croak glanced sidelong at Alex, smirking. While Croak was no match for the drow or the hell hound right now, he could think of a few forms he could take that would easily dispatch both. There was, however, no reason to get hasty, or to waste his energy and strength, among other things, in order to transform. Besides, Seraph could probably take care of this guy easy if he was any trouble... which he didn't quite appear to be at the moment...

I sheathed my blade and stepped forward, my right palm raised toward him.

"Glad to have you then. You will be watched, drow. Do not make me regret my decision to allow you to join us. I am Seraph Belfast, Templar of Justice and Retribution, follower of Falthyr, likely known to you as Helm."

I stand up "Alexenta is my name, i'm half elf and a Paladin of Lathander, and if Seraph trust you i do too."
I shake hands with him sit back down and carry on drinking.
I start feeling dizzy soon after, so stop drinking and try concentrating on the discussion, but all it sound like to me is blah, blah, blah and their appears to be two of everyone.I try to stand up fall back down.

"driznardren, and this is firerunner" i reached out my hand to shake.

I clasped the drow's hand and nodded, then laughed aloud as the Paladin fell to the ground.

"A drunken, cowardly paladin of Lathander. I'm sure your father would be proud, Alexanta."

I released the drow's hand and introduced the group, ending with Croak.

I was surprised at the newcomer. It was most unusual to have a Drow and a Sorcerer being one the same. Seraph had found him good though. I distrusted his motives. They were too vague and could probably be easily turned against us. I checked the people here and found that I couldn't trust half of them.
"Can we get some sleep now?" I growled.
