Croak stood, mouth agape, as Seraph healed his friend. He had never seen such quick healing powers, nor had he seen anyone be hurt so much by healing someone. The smoking of Seraph's arm was strange to him, too. Shaking the confusing and surprise from his head, Croak walked over and shook Dan awake. Dan moaned and slowly opened his eyes. When they finally came into focus, Dan jumped up and looked around, as if panicking. After seeing no threats, he calmed back down and grabbed Croak by the shoulders.

"Croak!" he shook the bullywug excitedly, "They got Sop and Spud!" Croak's eyes widened. Dan looked around at the others.

"We 'ave t'do something!" Croak said, standing up on his chair, "We gotta save Sop and Spud, an' we gotta find out what 'appened to 'em! An' who was in charge 'n' all."

"Sit down, yeh durned fool," Seraph muttered to the frogman. His speech pattern had changed dramatically from moments before, becoming very slurred and rough, almost dwarf-like.

He looked at Daniel through half closed eyes and said "Yeh all righ'?"
Got YWS? I do.

Lumi: Don't you drag my donobby into this.

"Yeah," Dan replied, curious about Seraph's change in tone. Then he turned to Croak, "Well, bud, I'm off to see what I can do to get Sop and Spud back. You come with when you can, or do what you think you need to. I hope you'll help us, but it's up to you." He took Croak's hand and shook it firmly. "Good luck be with you, Croak. Whistle if you need me, and I'll do whatever I can."

Croak nodded and watched as Dan walked out the door again, this time carefully picking his steps so that he wouldn't be caught off-guard again. He looked back at Seraph.

"Dan ain't big on the thanks, but I can tell ya 'e really does appreciate what ya done jus' now." Croak smiled at Seraph's half-conscious form. Seraph nodded slowly.

Seraph nodded groggily, then his head fell back. If Croak said any more, he didn't hear it. He was unconcious.
Got YWS? I do.

I looked up from my drink and listened and watched, when i saw Seraph collapse i ran over to him and glared at the bullywug.
"I don't trust you know, so tell me how did this happen, before i lose my Patience."

*I drew my sword*

"Anyway how do i not know your more powerful, than you show"

"My father was a brave man, giving everything up to give me a chance to live this life", i said absent mindly.

Croak cocked his eyebrow, looking at the paladin like he was some strange beast.

"Didn' you jus' see what 'appened? The big guy put 'is 'and on Dan, and Dan was 'ealed, then the big guy fell asleep. You know as much as I do, knighty." Croak smirked, wondering why the knight would think that I knew anymore than what we both just saw. "As for me being more powerful than I look, that depen's on 'ow you're lookin' at me, dunnit?"

Valin Norovir:
I shook my head. Seraph had passed out. By the way it took so much energy to heal this "Daniel" fellow, he was most likely not the kind of person we wanted to be hanging with our band of warriors. And I did not want Croak coming with us, as the saying goes "Where travels the frog-men, so travels death" and I did not want to die before my birthright had been realized. I walked over to Seraph, and handed him my fireale. In it, I pulled out a Yavanna leaf, and ground it up, and mixed it into the ale. Then, I poured it down his gulllet. "This should put you right, if you know what I mean" I told him, as he groggilly, slowly woke up. I'm going to go check something out.
The Griffin said there had been no tracks. No tracks that he had seen, anyway. I went out to investigate.
Outside, the trees were crying. There leaves were out of place, and nothing seemed its proper temperament. On the ground, in the muddy dirt road that the tavern stood off of, there were very very faint tracks in the distance. They seemed almost human, but not quite human, and not quite Elf. I really was confused. They were of a normal size, so they couldn't be a dwarf or a halfling, and they weren't bow-legged so they couldn't be goblins or Orcs. Then I remembered: The firepeople. Djinn, they were called. They walked like humans in this realm, but they were mostly human-shaped fire elementals.
Of course! I thought. This explains why the trees are crying. They used the trees as launching pads for their attack on Daniel, presumably because he was talking to us. Also, since the Djinn dislike and disrespect the trees, they were crying for mistreatment. It all made perfect sense.
I quickly climbed up the tree nearest me, and looked out, to see if I could see any in the darkening distance, but alas, I could not. I sighed. Then, I pulled out my flute, and played a healing tune to heal the trees. While I was playing, the others came out to see who was making such beautiful music.

I listened to the music for a little while. Seraph walked out with the others.
"I'm going to look at the spot Sira was caught. I'll be back in an hour at the most." I tossed my steel talons onto the ground and attached them to my front paws.
"Which direction is it?" Seraph asked.
"That way, between those two big trees," I pointed.
"Go ahead and check it out. I'll go talk to Vallin, ask him what's happened." Seraph went off towards him. I trotted towards the road. I then turned down towards a flat stretch and broke into a run. When I had enough speed, I jumped and flapped hard. Moonlight illuminated the trees. I flew at treetop level. I finally came to a clearing. I circled once and landed in the middle. A wagon had come here. Signs of a struggle were there, Sira had been attacked by multiple foes and had lasted for quite a long time, maybe five minutes. She fell there and then she had been carried. I looked in closer at the footprints.
"Djinn?" There were the burn marks on the ground. They didn't use fire magic though, they were trying to catch her alive. After they captured her, someone stunned her, and loaded her on the wagon. A sudden sound marked the passing of a fireball by my ear. A Djinn lept towards me. I roared and lept into action.

I talk to Valin "Do we have to take him, i fear he isn't telling us something, i just don't trust him; I know this is horrible since i'm a half breed, but my Grandad got killed by a Lizard Man who was trying to make peace, so from then on in my family never trust reptiles."
I sigh look up and see two beady eyes were down staring at us "Bloody hell is this meeting got no privacy at all if all thiefs know about it."

I was engaging 20 Djinn simultaneously. They weren't very strong, but they were persistant. I tried touching one, but that had been painful. Instead, I was using air magic to keep them away. A new tactic strayed into my mind. As one flew at me from a tree, I surrounded him in an air bubble. I used more magic to keep it stable. The fire elemental consumed air at an incredibly high rate. To the horror of his companions, he turned into smoke, snuffed out by his own fire.

They looked at each other and then lept at me simultaneously.
"HELP!" I shrieked.

(Gee guys, ever occur to you that there was a REASON Seraph was unconscious? sheesh. I kinda didn't want to have to come up with a reson why he wasn't active today, and give y'all a reason to godmode him. Thanks a bundle, Dan and Grif)

I turned, mid-stride, when I heard the gryphon's cry for assistence. Pulling my sword from its scabbard, I spun on my heel and ran back the way Ma'Lar had shown me.

As I drew nearer to the battle, I could feel the air growing hotter around me. By the time I reached the gryphon and his fiery opponents, my eyes were stinging and the acrid smell of sulphur burned my nostrils. Sweat poured from my face, dripping off my nose and onto the grounsd, where it sizzled and smoked.

Nearly a score of the fire elementals had engaged the gryphon, hurling fireballs and flaming arrows at the airborn Ma'Lar. The closest Djinn had its back to me. Rushing at the fiery being, I growled through the burning of my own hair and skin and brought my sword across in a great horizontal slash that cut the Djinn clean in two at the waist. As my blade bit into its fiery foe, it flashed crimson, runes appearing seemingly out of nowhere along the blade. The two halves of the burning creature collapsed to the ground, still burning. Singed but not really hurt, I rushed toward my next enemy, who was not about to be caught unawares like his companion. He turned and hurled a fireball my way, the flaming sphere flying right at my face.

Diving into a headlong roll, I reached behind me and brought my shield to bear, fitting my arm through the leather bindings and pulling the emblazoned steel off my back. I felt the flaming sphere fly over my shoulder as I rolled, the sheer proximity of the thing singing my back. Coming to my feet already running at the creature, I got my shield up just in time to bat away a flaming arrow the Njinn had decided to throw my direction. Spinning around with the deflection, I used the momentum of my turn to speed up my swing, taking the head from the creature in one deft maneuver. I smiled at my handiwork, glad to see that my trek through the desert had not dampened my reflexes. I hesitated a moment too long, however, as a fiery arrow struck me in the shoulder, sending me spinning to the ground and ripping my paldron free of my shoulder. I landed face first, throwing my hands beneath me to break my fall. Pushing myself to a crouch, I looked over at the creature, murder in my eyes.

"You're next," I said, my grimace reforming into a predator's grin.

Croak backed into the tavern, wondering why he came out in the first place, and not willing to get into such a seemingly random fight before knowing what was going on. He watched in amusement as the half-elf complained about him, and almost laughed out loud when the knight stared into empty shadows as if being watched.

"Yeah, knighty, yer bein' watched, but tha's jus' your wonky mind there." Smirking, Croak sat down in the shadows and watched what he could see of the fight through the door and windows.

"They must not die....help them....there is still much to be done...." The voice of his god hovered in the back of his head as Michael rushed the looping fires and war cries in the nearby distance. For a moment he stopped and reached for his pouch. He took a small silver sphere and dropped it on the ground. The sphere grew in size then cracked open and three ghost-like hounds matterialzied before him. Their eye-sockets where empty but there were tens of eye-like orbs floating and orbiting around them.

"Go there...the fire elementals...attack them..." he wispered and pointed towards the group. In the same moment the hounds charged towards their fiery prey, hissing and howling. Michael rushed after them mumbling chants, curses and blessings, hoping that his ancestors will bless this fight, and the underworld will be at peace once again...

Name: Michael

Gender: Male

Race: Half-elf

Class: Soulkeeper (Mage class)

The soulkeepers are the living messengers of Temnah, the god of life and death. They are very similiar to necromancers, except they dont summon Undead. Instead, they see them as their arch-nemesis. The soulkeeper can summon spirits of the dead and use them as allies, ask them for an advice or to seek council from their ancestors, or even create a small army. The Soulkeepers also guide the souls of the dead towards their eternal home, or if ordered by their god, return it back to the world of the living. Almost all Soulkeepers do the entire burial procedures. They are a peaceful neutral order who favors solitude and secrecy.

Appereance: 6'5, silver hair that almost tocuhes the ground beneath his feet, white piercing eyes (he has pupils though, they are white as well lol) pale skin, has many tatooes on the forearm and hands.

Basic clothing: long hooded black robe with grey streaks with golden runes embedded on them, black leather boots, and a small stone diadem rests on his head. When nights falls though, the runes glow with a yellowish haze so does the diadem with a blue hue.

Waepon: Staff made from obsidian and a poisonius dagger.

Abilities: When night falls during meditation he can attract the spirts and ghosts of his surroundings and ask them for advice or information in trade with a bottle of elven wine with obsidian dust inside it. Has ressistance to poison and small ressistance to ice and fire magic. All of his spells have extra damage/effect on undead.

I climbed to my feet, my eyes still locked on my next target, who was in the middle of casting another spell.

Above me, I could hear Ma'Lar's screeches of pain and desperation as he dodged and rolled in the air, narrowly pulling away from the fiery projectiles from below. Ignoring the searing pain in my shoulder, I rushed at the Njinn, blade thrust behind me and shield held in front.

Roaring a challenge to the Outsider, I looked over the top of my shield to see him throw his arms toward me, a gout of fire spreading from his flame covered fingertips. The wall of fire stopped about ten feet in front of me, trying to impede my progress to my target.

I raised my shield, lowered my head, and plowed right through the fire.
