two hours later
Alex woke up he rubbed his eyes and tried to remember what happened he remember barely, drinking too much but that's all. He slipped on his armour on piece by piece. The his elve insticts kicked in and he thought he sensed a dark elve. Alex walked downstairs and sat down by the fire thinking.
A few seconds later he heard something apart from the crackling fire, it sounded like movement upstairs he ignored it until.....

Valin:
So, the half-blood did have some Elvish tendencies to him. He didn't sleep more than two hours, and I hadn't slept yet. I was not tired. The idea of the Drow made me nervous and suspicious. I had dozed here and there, but that was it. After I awoke, an hour or so ago from my doze, I got up silently, and swung out the window, onto the roof. I wanted to do some exploring. I snuck near to the Drows' quarters, but all I heard was snoring, and some ice charm. I didn't want to cause a needless confrontation, so I moved along the rooms of the Inn. In various rooms there were very many various activities of all manner of sorts going on, ranging from gambling, to serious business, to planning "operations", to various other "indescretions". Ah, humans are so colorful. Then, I thought I saw a soulspinner in the distance, but I couldn't discern it for sure, and so thought nothing of it. Then I noticed the Half Blood wake up, put on his armor, and go down by the fireplace. I swung in silently from a nearby window and landed in the shadows behind him. I spoke to him, saying,
"Alexanta, you truly wear your armor as if it were your clothes, do you not?" not emerging from the Shadows

"True warriors do."

Seraph's voice came from the far corner of the room, near the fireplace, which had died down to little more than coals. Somehow, even with their keen nightsight, the elves had overlooked his seated form. He was leaned back in his chair, his leather boots up on the table in front of him. He sat with his arms crossed, still garbed in his crimson plate mail. His sword lay across the table, and his shield was leaning against his chair.

Valin, ever perceptive, noted that his dagger sheathe was empty. He assumed that Seraph held the blade tucked away somewhere in his crossed arms.

"No sleep for the heroic, it seems."

"So why you two up? I can't sleep that my excuse."

Alex sat watching the fire for a while thinking about his life with elves when he heard a dreadful noise he looked at the window and their stood two figures, they both looked like assassin one had a kunai in hand and a shuriken in the other. He was wearing black, but his eyes that what scared Alex they were black. The other one was smaller than his companion and he wore red had scarlet eyes and seem to have a tattoo on his arm of a spider in his hand was a dagger tale.

Learil and her constant companion had traveled many days. They were finally in reach of there target, probably the only other dark elf for many miles all around. She hefted Morgana with one arm and climbed a tree where they waited, only a few hours or so until they got there revenge. She still could hardily comprehend that while she was underground all those long desolate years he was up here having the time of his life-without her.

"Seems our new friend brought some companions," I growled, leaping to my feet. Tossing my dagger to my left hand, I drew my father's longsword with my right. Upon being unsheathed upon these assassins, it glowed bright, crimson runes appearing out of nowhere along the blade.

The drow, for they were indeed Blademasters of Llolth, leaped from the window sill, the shuriken in his hand flashing as he threw it. It zipped straight toward my head with uncanny accuracy, the tips throwing dots of light off the dark walls of the tavern. I twisted my head at the last second and the blades grazed my ear, taking a smll chunk of it with the shuriken.

"You'll pay for that one, friend," I sneered, bullrushing the drow warrior as he landed nimbly on one of the tables around the tavern.

Beside me, I saw Alexanta draw his blade and bring it up in time to deflect an incoming dagger that would have taken out his eye. Maybe he is more of a fighter than he seems, I thought to myself.

Closing quickly on the drow, I brought my longsword in a sweep to drive him off the high ground. Lightning quick, he jumped over my blade, sending his chained Kunai spinning at the same time. The bladed kunai wrapped around me blade, tangling it and sending it spinning out of my grasp. As he tossed my weapon across the room, he landed lightly and perfecly balanced on the table once more. Timing it perfectly, I leaped into him, tackling hjis legs from under him. We both tumbled to the floor in a tangle of arms and legs.
Got YWS? I do.

(its morning right? lol Dono send me a short PM and tell me what really is going on i feel like im busting the entire adventure here)

Argus was awaken by the searing, painful glare of the sun that fell directly above his face through the branches of a small tree. He bearly opened his eyes to see that he dragged himself in a back alley et the end of the street. The tavern were the group spent their night was just a few hundred meters away. He reached for his pocket and took his eye path and placed it over his right eye. Then he took his darklens monocle and put it on his left eye.

Sometimes he hated days like these. He always had to squint with his eyes. He stood up and looked around him. Gladfully he didnt smell of cat urine and trash and all of his equipment was in place. His mind was silent. The painful glare of the sun was a small cost to pay for a few hours of a piece of mind. But he frowned again when he realised another night was before him where he had to listen to the babbling of thousands of old dead ghosts. He didnt hated his job though, but sometimes he thought that it would be nice to strech back below a willow tree by a small pond and read a good book.

He started towards the tavern. He wasnt really fond of places such as these. Esspecially during the day. The glares, frowns and mumblings were irritating, almost painful. More than a few times he had to turn around and remove his eye patch and go "Boo!" to scare away the children. Its not every day you see a six foot halfelf with hair that sweeps the ground beneath his feet. Just when he treaded on the first stair to the entrance of the tavern the innkeeper bursted out and threw two old drunkards that fell asleep in the tavern.

"Go home to yer wives ye snivering drunkards!" he shouted clenching his fist. A bold man of medium height, with a big red beard and a few scars on his face and arms.

"I'd say that those scares are not for display only." Argus smiled and looked to the old men, moaning and rolling on the cobblestone street.

It was the innkeepers turn to laugh now.
"Have saved me life many a times before, friend." the man said. He was used on seeing many oddities during his lifetime, so he didnt put much of a show when he inspected the half elf more closely. "Welcome to me tavern...the Mermaid's Leap. Best tavern in the Kalharah quarter."

"It be a den of motheaters and old wenches!" one of the old drunkards replied still lying on the ground.

"Shut yer beartrap you son of a shroom piper!" the innkeeper said and spat at the old man. Argus laughed and entered inside. A tavern like any other else. The smell of cheap ale, wine and all sorts of foodstuffs still drfited in the air. The tavern wenches cleaned the floor and the tables from last nights ruccuss and ran around the tabels to take the orders of travelling merchants and patrons that spent their night in the inn, while Argus set in a dim lit table in the corner beneath a small dusty painting of a mermaid. He took off the monocle when one of the tavern wenches came with a piece of paper and a small featherless quill.

"Good morning m'lord. Anything you would like on this fine day?" she smiled when he saw his face. Yes, Argus had snow white eyes but he took hidden pride in his physical apperenace now and then.

"Yes, cheese, a small loaf of bread and a glass of red wine." he wasnt used to stuff like these, but it was way better than debating about what summoning ritual is the best with dead mages, who most of them, seemed to make a summoning mistake but once and once only or playing tic-tac-toe with a bunch of giggling mist imps, after all he was in the prime of his youth. The woman turned around and went towards the kitchen. Argus sighed and contemplated on the plans for today, secretly hopeing than he will recognize someone from the group. Again, he thought of Aluriel, and tears came to his eyes, but he forced them back. Aluriel is but a memory now, his spirit now drifts in the Most Sacred of Grounds. Even though he may have found eternal rest, Argus yearned for his love. A love no woman has ever achived to give him...

(lmao, i hope the res tof the group is not homophobic or anything  )

((Arvy, it is still night. Or at least I think it was))

Valin:
Just before the assasins attacked, I said to Seraph and Alex, "See, I told you the Drow were not to be trusted" I then pulled out my long sword, as this was not an instance to be sneaky, and I wanted to prove to Seraph that I truly did know how to fight like the prince that I am.

Then, the assasins attacked, jumping from their perch, through the window, into the area where we were talking. One jumped close to me, throwing a shuriken, nearly missing my head. I brought my sword up and around, and brought it down on his arm, slicing it off. With the other arm, he drew a dagger, and tried to slice me with it. I repelled the attack easily with my thick leather gauntlets. I then punched him, laying him out on the ground, and, while he was laying there prone, I plunged my sword into his heart, delivering the coup d'grace. Justice was mine.

I saw out of the corner of my eye that Seraph and Alexanta had dispatched with the other assasin, and so again, we had gotten justice.

I turned to Seraph and Alexanta and said, "I fear this will not be the last of these attacks from the Drow. We must not allow the Drow spellcaster to join our party. He endangers us all"

"We need to leave immediately. I don't know who those assassins were for, but if they are for us we must spend no more time here."
"I agree," Seraph said.
"The only question is if we should warn our Drow friend about this. The assassins were Drow. Either he was the target because he left the Drow or he called them here to kill us," I looked down at a dead Drow. "It's a pity we didn't get one alive."
"Didn't have a choice."
"We shouldn't let the Drow know. He will find out in the morning anyway, assuming he didn't call them himself," Valin said.
"I don't think that he called them. Otherwise, why would he not join them to make sure they eliminated us? The attack was coordinated without his assistance."
"Where is he now?" Valin said.
"Right here," Diznardren said. I turned to Seraph.
"Seraph, you are the leader of this group. You must decide if his assets are worth the risk."

I grinned as I stood up from the drow I had bullrushed.

"This one's still breathing," I said to my companions. Wiping my now bloody dagger on the drow's clothing, I walked across the room to find my sword.

"We'll find out who he was working for soon enough...as soon as he regains consciousness."

Picking up my blade, which has skipped across the floor to the fireplace, I sheathed it and turned to the others.

"Bind and gag him. We don't want him casting a spell while we interrogate him."

I turned to Driznarden.

"I do not like coincidences, Driznarden. What were these drow doing here so soon after you arrived?" I looked at Valin. "Cover him with your bow. If he so much as flicnhes, put an arrow into him. Ma'Lar, get airborn. Keep an eye out for anything suspicious. If you don't see anything, come back down. Alex, go find Croak and bring him here."

"What are you doing?" I frowned. Sira was putting on her flight gear.
"What do you think? I'm going to help you look. Two pairs of eyes are better right? Don't argue." I closed my beak. It was probably nothing anyway. I walked out the front door. Seeing nothing, I flapped hard to get altitude. I scanned the road. Only an old man in a horse drawn cart. Unusual for the hour, but nothing dangerous. I looked towards the forest when I saw movement. It didn't repeat, which red flagged it. If it was a tree, it would have swayed back and forth. Bushes were the same. "AMBUSH!" I yelled, warning everyone. I dove just as a series of arrows streaked out at me.
"Sira! Get them to the back door! I've got a plan." I dove for the cart and landed in front of the horses.
"I need your help," I panted.
"Hop on in then," the Old Man smiled.
"My friends are under attack by several dozen Drow. They're at the back door of the inn coming up here. Can you rush there and drive us out of here?"
"Sure. Anything for friends." The horses trotted a little faster.
"Can we go a little faster for friends?" I asked. The Old Man whistled and the horses broke into full gallop. I hoped they were there...

"oh boy, i guess ill just sit here and wait it out, take all the fun; killing drow." he scoffed, a frown falling on my face. "any chance i could sit down, i am getting rather tired of standing" i asked them as they engaged the drow.
sitting down i dodged a dagger thrown askew. "don't mind me ill just sit here" i pouted.

Valin:

As Seraph told me to cover Dreznarden or whatever his name was with my bow, I pulled out the bow and loaded it with a good deal of relish. "With Pleasure," I said. A few minutes later, I heard Thaden scream "AMBUSH" and knew my worst fears were realized. I shot an arrow just missing the Drows neck, peircing his cloak, hanging him from the wall of the Tavern.
"I'll deal with you later" I said, running outside, with my sword on my back, and my bow drawn.

It was then that I saw them, in the distance, just within bow range. I shot off three arrows, in a volley, and I saw that a few Drow had met their foul end. A foul end for a foul race, I thought to myself, relishing the moment. But then I allowed myself back into the hear and now, and saw the Drow rushing for me as fast as they could, which was pretty fast, for as much as I hate to admit it, they still had some remnants of Elven genetics in their blood, and thus, Elven speed. Quickly I drew both my long sword and a shorter sword, prepared to exact my revenge for their ancestors treachery. Soon they were upon me in larger numbers than I had either seen nor expected. Before I knew it, my short sword, which was for parrying blows was on the ground, several meters from where I stood. I was surrounded by Drow all of them warroirs with their blades drawn. I could see it in their vile eyes, they wanted my blood. I drew myself up, and prepared to fight to the deal for the honor of my people, when Seraph, Croak and Alexanta ran out of the tavern after me.
