Saphire I climbed a tree behind the camp letting my legs dangle watching the new people smiling slightly doubting anyone would notice me missing. I rested my head against the trunk closing my eyes.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
My annie, with that big scary guy with stitches? I never understood why should wouldn't stay inside with me and protect herself. I picked up my gun, holding it close to me. You never know when you'll need it. I heard something move in the trees, and shot in that direction, hitting a chicken, but I shot again anyway. Double tap. One guy looked over to me, and pointed at the chicken. "Your cleaning that up." He said. I nodded and walked over to it, crabbing it by the leg. Lovely, look like an idiot already.
Kyle
I helped her inside and got her on the cot. If Mrs.Prissy wanted it she would have to deal with me. You can't just waltz in here and take what you want. I learned that the hard way. I looked down at my arm, were I had been shot in the back of the elbow. It stung, and felt like it was on fire. I cradled it against my chest and whimpered. was I really crying? Until lately I had no clue I could cry. I tucked annie's hair behind her ear. I hoped she was really asleep.
Domi
Tarrion came back over and wrapped an arm around me. I hugged my stomach, which was doing flip flops. I looked up to him when the big guy was done staring at me like I was disgusting. "Who is that?" I ask, nodding towards the big guy. He beamed, seeming proud. "That, is my brother." I swallowed hard. I would get to meet part of his family? What if he didn't like me? What if he didn't approve of me? My breathing became heavy. I already looked away from tarr and at the ground. "I'll be right back." I rushed out shaking off Tarrion and running into the bushes, throwing up.
"Even in the end --even in death-- I can't hate you." - Neri Hereford's last words.
"The Gods demand blood, for they... do not bleed." Jaska.
This is all getting boring already, and I've already labeled most of them. [The snob, the wimp, et cetera] One girl ran into the bushes, and now I hear faint splatter sounds. Is she barfing?
My mind is in that closed state that makes everything seem dull, so that leaves me with one option and two possibilities. I can go to sleep, and I'll either wake feeling better or ten times worse.
Doesn't matter, either way I sleep. Since that other girl got the cot, [which really seemed to bother miss snob] I climb a tree. Apparently someone else had the same idea, 'cause one of these branches feels suspiciously like an arm.
Ideasdon't stay in heads very long because they don't likesolitary confinement.
Saphire I smiled at the girl who was leaning against my arm. "I'm Fire." I said offering one of my hands. "I'm Nasira." She said not smiling back or shaking my hand. "You like being alone don't you?" I asked. She nodded. I smiled wryly. "I know the feeling." I said quietly. I eased my arm gently from her and set it in my lap clasping my hands together.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
When I opened my eyes, it wasn't light outside, and I could still see the moon through the opening in the tent. I sat up, looking around. Kyle was asleep again, and Domi and Tar were talking in a low voice just outside the tent, and I could see that they were cuddled together in the cold. It had suddenly gone from super hot to freezing cold, and I could see my breath. I wondered if anyone else would want to sleep in the cot, considering it was the one place that was warm and comfortable.
I stood up, ignoring the pain my leg was giving me, and the slight burning sensation from my side and went to the box that was just outside the tent now. No one payed me any attention, accept Tar who nodded to me, and I smiled back politely. I grabbed some medicine from the box, reading it to make sure it was pain medicine, then grabbed a bottle of water and headed back into the tent without another look in the direction of Danny, who's eyes I felt on me, or any of the others, such as the girl who was looking at me ruefully for stealing the cot, though I would do anything to sleep on the hard comforting ground again.
I walked back into the tent, sitting on the ground next to where Kyle was asleep. I sighed, unsure if I should wake him now, or wait for him to wake up. He didn't seem like he was in pain right now, but who knew. I didn't feel like sitting here and waiting, but I was a little sick of going to the water. There was nothing there but bad memories.
I instinctively looked at my hand, then realised the ring wasn't there. I had to get used to this. Getting up, I exited the tent and walked past everyone, hoping Danny wouldn't follow me where I was going. I didn't go to the water from before. Instead, I walked the where we had found Kyle with Domi before. A sudden pang of jealousy passed through me, but why? Domi didn't love him, and I knew that. Kyle didn't love her anymore, and he was tired of hurting her. He seemed to be interested in me for some reason. I looked at myself in the reflection of the water. I looked terrible, dirt covered my face like a mask, and my hair looked like a rats nest. I needed to clean up, but I didn't want to right here. There was something about having Danny around again that made me feel...uncomfortable. The way he always made me feel. Not the scared for my life feeling I had near Kyle before, not the feeling that he would kill me.
No, this feeling was totally different. The fearing of rape would more accurately state it. Yea, he was a paranoid freak, yea, he still seemed to have something for me, but I had no intentions on kissing him, just like I had no intentions before when I dated him. I was a totally different person then, careless and selfish. I wondered idly if he would think I wasn't the same Annie he knew from before.
"How he could see my face through all this dirt?" I asked myself quietly, splashing the water, and sighing. Who cared, I needed a bath, I needed to clean up. New clothes didn't sound too bad either, but my clothes were back at camp, and half of them were, well, just the same as these, or worse, torn into tiny shreds.
Anyhow, I needed to clean up. It didn't bother me that we all looked like monkeys, but I looked like I had put a mud mask on, and it was a little...whats the word? I splashed water on my face, but it wasn't doing anything, so I stood up, hoping no one was watching as I pulled my shirt off carefully then pulled my pants off, stepping into the freezing water.
"Oh it has to be below freezing in here!" I complained to myself, barely audible as my body makes the water move. It's a surprise it's not iced over, but it feels good. I sighed again, going under the water to get my hair and face soaked. It did feel refreshing to be in cold water again, but I was sure I was going to get sick.
Hakuna Matata <3 RIP to all my friends who didn’t make it.
Right when I'm finally drifting off, I'm brought back by the sound of splashing water. The two branches I'm wedged in are quite comfortable, but the icy air is licking away my body heat, making it even harder to sleep. Crazy weather here; one moment I think I'll quickly be sweating like the Niagra, and the next I feel as though whoever is in the water will freeze over.
"Fire?" I whisper. "Are you awake?" My brain's dead. Maybe it does pay to have people to talk to.
"Yeah Nasira?" she mutters.
"Call me Naz, and...well I'm bored and can't sleep. You know some people at my school call me "Nazi", and not just 'cause it goes with my name. Apparently I'm evil."
Ideasdon't stay in heads very long because they don't likesolitary confinement.
Fire I sat up and looked at her seriously. "Your not evil just misunderstood and people need to understand that and I know that feeling. My temper is pretty bad and I snapped and beat the crap out of someone I am wiccan as well and people whenever I walk by check their milk to make sure it didn't curdle and they call me witch evil wicked cruel. I know how you feel alot better then you probably think." I said quietly. She looked at me with a mixture of surprise and respect.
"You are without a doubt, the worst pirate I've ever heard of."
100% freaking lost. If someone wants to either explain to me or even write a post for Gemma either is good. I will not be on for at least two days. REALLY SORRY!
Scratch that.
GEMMA
I hate drama, I always have. Tears and gushy moments are not my thing, never have been. For that reason exactly I stole away in the middle of the night. I had to get away, even if it was only for a few days. I just had to clear my head. I spent a week (How much time approximately has gone by since my lat post??) with just me and the forest. Finding my own food, cooking my own food, finding my own sleeping arrangements, and washing my own laudry. Though it was pure bliss to me I decided it was time to go back. They must have noticed by now, or maybe not. Drama is more important than Gemma, that is always how it was.
My thoughts were wiped as I broke through the trees into the familiar camp. I was home.

Something caught in the corner of my vision, and I turned my head quickly. "Gemma!" I whispered coursely, running up to her. "Where the heck have you been?" I hadn't really had the time to think about her absense, you know, with being abducted and all that chiz, but she was back again, which was good.
"Around," she muttered.
I sighed, shoving my hands into my pockets. "There are some new people aboard. My older brother being one of them."
She looked up at me. "You're brother's here?"
"He is. Ryder, master carpenter. Should prove useful." I grinned from ear-to-ear and lead Gemma back to Domi. "Look who's back?" I asked, kissing Domi on the cheek. She still didn't look very good, and her fever was up again. I was concerned for her, worried sick, but she would be okay. She had to be okay.
RYDER
I couldn't sleep. Not a single flippin' wink. So I just layed there, staring at the top of the tent, making plans for a wall and some decent houses. They could use them, but it would require a lot of work, and I didn't know if anybody would be up to it. Tarr would help, I knew that much, but what about the others?
Dominique was sick, that Annie girl was injured, nobody seemed to like Kyle much (other than Annie, which was sort of weird)... That one girl, oh what was her name? Wren? Well, she might help, and Matt and Logan probably would, too. But what about everybody else?
Of course, Tarr would help if he could pry himself from Dominique long enough. He obviously loved her, but I couldn't get over the fact that he was engaged. Apparently to two girls. He was an idiot. We wouldn't be here forever after all. Or would we? I sure hoped not...
I couldn't sleep, but Tarrion could. He was so tired. I couldn't move, I couldn't wake him up and deprive him of his much needed sleep. I turned towards him slowly, our noses nearly touching. I brought my hand up and moved his hair off to the side. It had grown since we got here. I heard someone moving restlessly behind me. I turned my head to see it Tarrions brother. He didn't seem impressed with me already, I worried that he may not like me. I decided to go for a walk. I pryed my way out of Tarrions snuggle. He groaned and rolled over, I gently kissed his ear before getting up and getting out of the tent.
I heard someone come out behind me. I turned swiftly, and surprisingly gracefully. It was Ryder. He smiled at me as he strode over, I swallowed hard. You can trust him, he's tarr's brother. I said to myself. He put a hand on the back of his head. "Uh, hi." he said, looking unsure of what to say next. I smiled weakly waving a hand. "Hey." "So you and Tarrion?" He said with a bit of an edge in his voice. He seemed a bit, skeptical. "Um, yes. He's the only guy to ever really, love me." I more explained then stated.
"Even in the end --even in death-- I can't hate you." - Neri Hereford's last words.
"The Gods demand blood, for they... do not bleed." Jaska.
I sighed and scratched the back of my neck, averting my stare to the ground in front of my feet. "He did tell you about that other girl back in the village, didn't he?" I asked quietly. I was more concerned for Dominique than I was for Tarrion, it wouldn't be fair if she didn't know the truth.
She nodded quickly. "He told me."
"They didn't really get along that well, and Tarr was constantly trying to get our mother to go back on the engagement. I'm just being over-protective." I offered a weak smile and looked back up at Domi. She seemed nice enough, a little jumpy, but nice.
There was an awkward silence that set me on edge, broken by a low growl that made the hair on my neck stand on end. "What in Jimminy Cricket's name was that?" I asked nervously.
"Yes, beasts. Scary things they are, Annie is good at killing them. But they have killed a lot of the people who have come here." I said, looking away. "Others, we don't know what happened to them." I said, like that Ollie guy, and Dimitri. They both just, disappeared. Probably eaten by beasts to. I turned to him, realising I forgot the wolves. "Huge wolves to, very visious, they have been the most of our problems." I said pointing at the scar on my leg. He looked at it, with a mixture or empathy and shock. I turned it away from him. "So, what's Tarrion been like since he got here?" He asked. "Tarrion has been so much help. I think without Tarrion we would all be dead by now, at least Annie and I would be." I said. "Really?" He asked, sounding proud of his brother. I nodded my head, before turning it and gagging. I clutched my stomach. I felt terrible.

Hey, sorry, my brother got me banned for a while, but I'm back now and trying to get everything caught up on. Sorry if this is wrong, just tell me please!

My hair was still wet, and the water was running down my back, soaking my shirt. My body felt clean somehow, though I knew it would take more than a dip in cold water to make that possible. I lifted up my shirt, looking at the soaked bandage. I unwrapped it from my body, wincing as it pulled at the huge gash. It hurt like hell, but I was strong. I had been through much worse than this. I left the bandage right there, pulling my shirt down, and hobbling back to camp. I entered the circle as a growl came from somewhere behind me. I paused for a second, seeing if something would come out and eat me, which, if this were just yesterday, I would have wanted it to.
Nothing reached out to kill me, and nothing stepped out of the bushes, hurting me worse than I already was. I sighed, going to the box and grabbing more bandages. I hoped Kyle was really asleep as I lifted my shirt, wincing again as my shirt stuck to the now bleeding wound. I sighed, seeing as it wasn't going to heal anytime soon. I didn't know much about bandaging, and maybe I should have woke up Kyle to help me, but, even though he didn't do this, he would have felt bad for hurting me before. I could barely do any of this myself, so maybe it would have been best to wake him up. Or Tar, he would have helped.

Could someone pleeeeease pleeeease pleeeease give me a little recap of all the characters and what is going on?

"Around." I muttered. I don't know what had gotten into me, I wanted to be back but at the same time I didn't. Seeing how everything at camp had progressed faithfully while I was gone, no one seeming to notice my absence just put a little bad mood spell over me. I hoped it would wear off, I was truly happy to be around my family again, give or take Kyle and some new people I hadn't yet had the chance to meet. Tarrion was going on about his brother Ryder, he mentioned him before didn't he? Yes the carpenter was the good brother. I think. It seemed like my little M.I.A. spree did a little too much head clearing.
Tarrion lead me over to Domi, she looked sick. The familiar feeling of anxiety and worry for a family member spread over me. I hoped she was okay. "Look who's back." grinned Tar. Domi gave a weak smile and wave, pulling her blanket closer to her.
I wandered away, over to my favorite spot. I sat in the little indent on the large gray boulder, I felt the cool stone against my sticky-hot skin. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I felt a light tap on my shoulder, <could be anyone> my eyes snapped open and I whipped around. I was still in defense mode from sleeping alone.
Your motor's unstable, Your like an Undwinding Cable Car.
I saw Gemma walk away. Where was she going, I missed her! I kicked my blanket off and got out of the tent, she was sitting on a rock. Tarrion stopped me before I could walk over to here. "you should lay down, you look terrible." I smirked pecking his cheek. "I'm fine." I wheezed, looking over to Gemma. "I'll lay down after I go see Gemma I missed her." I said giving him a pleading face. He smiled and kissed my forehead. "Fine, but your laying down right after. Whether I have to drag you back in there or not." He joked. I rolled my eyes and gave him a quick hug before skipping over to Gemma. I tapped her shoulder and she whipped around, startling me a bit. "Sorry." I muttered, realising I probably scared her too. "How are you feeling?' she asked, getting all sisterly on me again. "I'm fine, where have you been?" I asked, worried about her. She shrugged. "Around." I sat beside her and gave her a hug.
