Pokemon

In the regions of Hoenn, Jhoto, and Kanto Team Rocket has reformed under a new leadership. Unlike before, they are better organized, better equipped, and more ruthless. They travel across the three regions capturing powerful legendary pokemon left and right. It is up to some very brave trainers to stop them.

Rules:
1) No one is allowed to have any legendary pokemon of any kind (Pokemon like Dragonite are excluded from this rule. They are rare, but not legendary).
2) One person is only allowed to have up to 6 pokemon.
3) One person is only allowed to have 1 character, unless they ask me and I give them permission.
4) No god-modding yourself and your pokemon.
5) You may battle each other, but you will gave to decide between yourselves who will win (flip a coin ).
6) Minimum of 750 characters per post. Look in the little box on the bottom, it'll tell ya.
7) Use correct grammar.
8 )You may use any pokemon from the 4 generations.
9) Pokemon are not limited to 4 moves like in the games.
10) I have final say in all matters regarding this storybook. These rules can be subjected to change when I deem necessary, I will let you know if I do change them.

History: Son of Claire, Blackthorn gym leader. Has a total of 24 badges from Jhoto, Kanto, and Hoenn. Is preparing to go to Sinnoh.
Personality: Usually keeps to himself, considers his pokemon his only friends.

Name: Ella Ryans

Gender: female

Hometown: Cherrygrove city, Jhoto

Description: Long fox red-brown hair that comes to her waist, Deep autumn brown eyes which usually have a mischievous glimmer in them. She stands at 5 foot 7, with a cream complection and slim figure. She wears a bandana around her head, and skinny jeans with a pale white shirt on.

History: Ella has only two pokemon, and she hardly even knows how to catch them. This is the first year her mother is actually letting her go from her protective gaze to fulfill her dream of being the best pokemon trainer in the world.

Her brother, Mark Ryans, left when he was ten and was kidnapped by Team Rocket. He was never seen or heard of again. Ella has a strong hating for Team Rocket and would gladly bring them to their knees.

Personality: Childish and Bubbly, Ella loves the sense of adventure. Ella hates failing, and would rather never. She doesn't like to cry in front of others, and is always chatting away. Some people believe she is obnoxious, though, she is only trying to make friends.

Name: Amelia Frost.
Gender: Female.
Hometown: Mauville City, Hoenn.
Description: Tall (5'5), pale-ish, long red hair that's so dark it's almost black, dark blue eyes and is always seen wearing dark colours with splashes of bright red. She has her pokeballs on a belt though her Vulpix refuses to stay in one.
History: New to Mauville, Amelia found her first pokemon, Vulpix, at the pokemon centre when she was twevle. The Nurse was looking after it and even now still being wild, it refused a pokeball. Amelia is about to set off for Ever Grande city since she now has all 8 badges. She was given Treecko when she met her Father at his new Gym.
Personality: Amelia is usually kind and caring-towards her friends and her pokemon anyway, although she can be pretty harsh and snarky when meeting new people and cruel towards Team Rocket. Amelia also has a bit of a reckless streak.

Name: Calina "Callie" Walker
Gender: Female
Hometown: Viridian City, Kanto
Description: 5'2, with pale, peach-colored skin and straight, light brown hair with blonde highlights. Wears a sleeveless, periwinkle polo, cargo shorts and white safari hat.
History: Callie has been collecting Pokemon ever since she was eleven years old and able to attain a trainer's license and her first Pokemon, a Charmander. Her journey through Viridian Forest led her to a Pikachu. She quickly garnered all eight badges and is searching for more adventure now that her first major stone as a trainer is complete.
Personality: Very serious when it comes to pokemon battles, although outside she treats her pokemon with personal care. She's kind but short-tempered.

Hometown: Victory Road (He ran a rest home with his parents), Jhoto

Description: He has short brown hair, and usually wears a Beanie, that's Black and Blue colored. He's Five foot five, and has blue eyes. He keeps his pokeballs in his Jacket, but rarely uses them, preferring to keep his current team out with him.

History: He grew up tending to Trainers and their Pokemon who were getting ready to face the elite four, and so he knows a lot on how to sooth them, and train them. His father is friends with the Professors of the regions, so he was able to get the starters for him. He only has four Jhoto badge (the first four game ones).

Personality: Is a mix of lazy and lively, never really putting much energy into something unless it can wake him up. He drifts through life happy-go-lucky.

Hometown: Azalea City, Johto

Description: Average size, lean and fit. Tanned from lots of time spent outdoors, dirty blond hair pulled back in a ponytail and dark blue eyes usually hidden behind sunglasses. A bit scruffy. Wears sturdy boots, grey cargo pants, a red shirt and a grey hunting vest.

History: Grew up running around Ilex Forest with the family Growlithe, and took it with him when he left on his own. Badges weren’t his objective, though they made a nice break from the travelling: he just wanted to see the world. Along his way he developed his interest for canine Pokemon, and surrounded himself with them; it was only natural that his interests went to the Legendary Dogs. He’s been tracking them across Johto for a while.

Personality: Proud and a bit gruff, but relatively nice under all that. He’s loyal, tenacious and patient, stubborn and territorial. He’s a bit of a workaholic if he lets himself be, and his Pokemons come first in his priorities – he treats them more as family than pets.

I packed my packs with everything I needed: potions, food,and clothing. My trip for Sinnoh was going to be a long one, but after I defeated their Pokemon League, I will be one of the top trainers ever. After I put the last empty pokeball in, I threw the pack over my shoulder and walked outside.

My mother, Claire, stood outside waiting for me with my Dragonite. She looked serious, but then again she always was.

"Are you ready for your trip?" she asked. I nodded and began walking towards my Dragonite, but she stood in my way. "Ashton, when you return I am going to retire as gym leader." The news shocked me, who I thought was going to continue to be the Blackthorn Gym Leader for as long as she could. "Will you take my place as gym leader?"

I walked passed her and hopped into the saddle on Dragonite's back and said, "Yes." And with lighting speed, Dragonite took off.

Ella Ryans

I stumbled through the undergrowth, my foot snagged on a branch sending me toppling towards the floor. Scraytching my chin, pain ran down my spine pinching me in the thigh. Pichu jumped onto my back pushing my head from side to side. Stupid little thing, I wouldn't be lying on the floor if it hadn't sent me toppling to the floor.

"Pichu stop it," I groaned picking myself up from the brambles, twigs and leaves I had managed to break. Teddiursa jumped out from behind a tree cradling a pot of honey my mother had packed for him. He shoved his poor into the sticky mass and than into his mouth.

Dusting off my clothes I ppicked myself up from the floor, Pichu climbing up onto my head.
"Pi Pichu" he babbled flopping his ears into my eyes. Pulling its ears off of my eyes I looked up to see something fly over the tree.

Scales caught in the sun rays glinting down on us. "There goes on trainer, flying...but no! We're here walking, oh God this is going to take forever." Teddiursa skipped towards us a large smile on his teddy like face.

"Time to start walking again," Taking another tired step, I pushed past the mess I had made and forced myself down the ribbon like path.

Name: Yang
Gender: Male
Hometown: Sinnoh Jubilife city

Description: 5'7, black hair, White shirt with a black vest and pants with black and white legs.

History: He and his sister used to collect badges together and were fierce combined team, but she left to compete in contests and collect ribbons. She also stated that if they ever met again she would show how she could beat him with beauty and grace. The two of them gained badged from their hometown and Hoen. He is now headed for Johto.

Personality: He likes to take things as they come and always remains calm.

"Now, Muddy, finish this guy off with an ice beam!" I commanded, and my loyal Marshstomp let all hell lose on my opponents Haunter. The Pokemon fell to the floor, ice cracking off it, and with that, I had won my forth badge. My opponent, Morty, jumped down, and but his Haunter away.

"Good job Gold, you got some strong Pokemon there," he said, petting Muddy.

"Thanks," I said and jumped down, Krow perched on my shoulder. "You too, that was a heck of a battle mate."

We shake hands, and he hands me his badge. "Listen, if you want, I'm about to head over to Tin Tower, I think someone like you would appreciate it."

"Well, I would love to, but I would need to ask the others first," I motioned for Saur and Explo to join us. "So guys, want to head over to Tin Tower?" The all nodded excitedly, and Morty laughed. "Well, then let's go!"

Ecruteak was a truly breath taking town. It had all old fashioned, hand built homes, with people all running around, kids dancing around the falling leaves. At the north end of town erupted the Tin Tower, an impossible site to miss. When I first came here, I knew I wanted to get up there. Who would have thought Morty would be so cool?


"Are you sure you wish to bring this guest with you?" the monk that guarded the entrance asked.

"Quiet sure, this boy truly shares a bond with his Pokemon, it would be stupid to not let him up," Morty said smiling. The mink reluctantly let me pass with Morty, he seemed offed by my Pokemon all out and about with us. The climb up was boring, aside from my Saur and Krow Fighting/playing, it was silent.

Not until the top did it seem worth it, my legs aching, and my Pokemon even breathing a bit heavy. The view was breath taking, we were at cloud level, looking down I could even see Goldenrod department store, and the day care.

"So, what do you think?" Morty asked.

"Its awesome..." I said, breathless.

Briiiiiing

"What was that?" I asked, and Morty tensed. I heard the noise again, and looked up to see a mini-blimp thing, with a huge R on the side of it. "Is that...is that team Rocket?"

"I think so...."Morty said sorrily.

There was a cry, and I looked up to see a Dragonite flying toward the Tower.

Name: Gene

Gender: Male

Hometown: Fuchia City

Description:

History: Gene's parents were the owners of the Kanto safari zone. Thanks to them, Gene found his primary partner pokemon; a Nidoran Male, who eventually evolved into a powerful Nidoking. He learned how to be a trainer by learning under the gym leader Koga, and took the gym leader challenge in Kanto and Johto. He has gone many times to Sinnoh and Hoenn, but he never took the challenges there, yet he has beaten most of the gym leaders in battle. He met many a trainer, made many a pokemon trade, and his team at the moment are all thankful to him, for various reasons.
He's an amazingly powerful trainer, to the point where he has defeated his own master Koga. Although he's very cocky about his skill, people respect him for it, and even more so for his patriotism to Kanto; he never uses any other pokemon than those native to Kanto. He likes to think of himself as the Kanto King.

Personality: Very cocky and boastful, never refuses a challenge, willing to ask for help.

POKEMON:

#1: Nidoking
The only pokemon in Gene's team that he has caught. They're childhood friends and have very similar personalities.
Attacks: Earth Power, Poison Jab, Aqua Tail, Thunder Punch

#2: Hitmonchan
Gene traded his Primape with Johto gym leader Chuck to get this Hitmonchan. Hitmonchan was becoming exhausted with Chuck's strategies, and Primape was unsatisfied with Gene's. They traded, and both pokemon were happier. Hitmonchan uses a defensive strategy now.
Attacks: Focus Punch, Double Team, Ice Punch, Sucker Punch

#3: Ditto
When Gene traded his Pinser for a Scyther, he didn't think he was being ripped off, but as it turned out, the Scyther was nothing more than a disguised Ditto. Gene took it in and accepted it as just a Ditto, and uses him as a surprise that nobody usually suspects.

Callie Walker

I already hiked five miles today so I decided I needed a rest. Maybe that would get Charizard-who had blatantly refused to come out of his pokeball-more motivation to fly. She'd heard other stories-were Charizards always lazy? She sighed and brought Raichu out of her pokeball for attention.

"Hey girl," she whispered. "How are you doing?" Callie scratched Raichu's ears.

"Raaiichuuu," she replied affectionately.

That was when Callie heard a rather disturbing noise. A girl was coming out of the underbrush, and she was a total mess.

Yang

Why didn't I have a Pokemon that could fly. Of course the reason why was because Yin had a Noctowl that would fly me everywhere when I was with her. Now that I was on my own I realized I was earth boud with my Pokemon. I decided not to worry about it and enjoy the fresh air of walking. I let out my Jolteon and she pranced at my ankles. For whatever reason I only had female Pokemon and my sister only had male. My Jolteon stopped half way down the trail and the spiky fur on it's back stood up with electricity as it let out a small warning. I looked up to see a Team rocket member. I was pretty sure he was aware of our presents.

"Thunder," I yelled. Jolteon obliged and took out the team rocket member.

I wondered what was going on. I knew very little about team rocket. My main problems had been Team Galactic but I knew Team Rocket was just as bad. I saw the man was holding a piece of paper I pulled it from his had as Jolteon sniffed him. I looked at the paper to see that they were coordinates. I looked at Jolteon.

"If I'm right these direction lead us where we're going anyway. So a small detour couldn't hurt."

"Jolteon," she replied.

Here's goes nothing.

Amelia:

Mother was chatting away downstairs while I packed my bags. Dad was excited. I'd beaten him a few days ago and just yesterday had earned my eighth badge.

"Amelia!" mum called, bringing my attention back to today. I was going to Ever Grande city.

I sighed and pushed Vulpix away from my bag and finished shoving things into it.

"Vulpix," I said and looked up at the little fox Pokemon. "You're going to have to go in a poke-ball if we fly there." Vulpix scowled at me and her expression went thunderous. Ah, hell. "Fine, no poke-ball." I slid my bag onto my back and headed out the door. Vulpix followed, still not happy.

Outside, my mum had Tropius ready to fly. I smiled and ran over to him.

"Thanks Mum," I muttered and rubbed the Pokemon's neck. "Let's go, boy!" I said and climbed up onto his back. Mum handed me Vulpix and I sat her down in front of me. "Hold on," I told her and she dug her claws into my shirt.

I waved to mum and a few moments later Tropius took off. I laughed. We loved flying, Vulpix, Tropius and I. As for my other Pokemon... Well, Growlithe didn't like flying.

After a few minutes, I looked down to see Vulpix fast asleep in front of me. She was so cute when she wasn't threatening to chomp on me.

I was nearing the far end of Victory road when I saw a few Team Rocket members harassing a Pokemon. It was large, black and not something I'd ever seen before. I frowned, trying to identify it then decide to get my Pokedex out. Was I stupid for not thinking of it earlier? Probably.

"Rayquaza?" I breathed. "But...that's impossible." Then I mentally slapped myself. "Team Rocket, Amelia. Team Rocket. Darn it."

Tropius changed course, racing towards the ground, Team Rocket and the legendary Pokemon. Huh, seems like he read my mind.
