The Character Tavern

Christian was glad she smiled back. He smiled again and sipped his drink. It wasn't blood, but he could stand the aftertaste so as not to scare here away.

"You seem like a very nice girl. Are you here often?"

"Yeah I hang out here alot." Even though I was half vampire, I don't bite. "I sense you are a vampire." I smiled. "Me too."

So she was a vampire as well. That's good.

Christian turned to bartender,

"Do you have anything with blood in it?" he asked

The Bartender grumbled and turned away. Christian turned back to the lovely young lady.

"My name is Christian." he kissed her lightly on the hand.

"And what would be yours?"

"Selene." I smiled.
I formed a fireball in between my fingers again and started playing with it. "Where you from?"

A fireball? Oh my god, that's cool

The bartender handed him a glass filled with a red liquid. Christian's eyes turned bright red. His fangs slipped from his gums. He sipped the liquid, instantly feeling rejuvenated.

"Around, I don't stay anywhere for very long. Unless of course there is a beautiful young lady involved. I tend to stay longer." he said gently.

"What about you?"

"Same here, People are constantly chasing me, Ares is after me, Since im also the daughter of Athena." I smiled, I blew out the fireball and my eyes changed to bright purple.

"Interesting." he said

He sipped his drink again.

"Purple is definitely your color." he said with a smile.

"Thanks." I let out a giggle and turned my stool around, making sure no one was following me. I turned it back and formed ice in my hand then put it into my drink.

"That's an interesting power you have there." he said. Resting his arms on the counter.
Christian finished his drink and ordered another.

"Thanks, I have lots of powers, with fire, Ice and almost any element." I smiled. Ares walked through the door again. Are you kidding me? I walked over to him. "I beat you up before, just leave before I kill you." My eyes turned red. Reached for me but I flipped him instead and tied him up in the corner. I walked back up to the bar. "I wish they could send a harder match, Ares is too low level." I smiled.

Christian was stunned at how this girl had just bested this man so quickly. Frankly, it concerned him. It made him feel alive almost.

"I love a girl that can fight." he told her, continuing to sip his drink.

I smiled, "Really?" I laughed and went over to Ares. "Look, if my mom wants me so badly then tell her to come herself. Or send Posideon. " I shook my head at him. "Tell her I said that. Go." He ran out. I laughed to myself.

"Well i guess that means I do not have to protect you, that's spoils a bit of the fun." Christian laughed to himself. Continuing to sip his drink.

"Protect me?" I asked smiling. "Why would you want to protect me??"

He looked at her, smiling as he did.

"I guess i tend to do that sometimes. But I enjoy meeting girls that can defend themselves, they usually remind me of my mother. Who i miss dearly." He said
