The Character Tavern

As she walked away I heard her laughing, stupid girl must be some girl who got lucky with magic and doesn't know half of what I been though, probably has never been in any real fights. I walked into my room and slammed the door behind me, I walked over sat on my bed. I buried my face in my hands, I missed home, I missed my friends, I even missed Daniella even tho I had only known her for a few weeks.

I read his thoughts from outside. I frowned. Actually I have been in millions of wars in mount Olympus. my mother, Athena trained me. I knew what he was going though, Thats actually what Ive been going through too.

A loud voice boomed from the main room of the tavern.

"We don't care who paid you! we want to know where he is NOW!" The voice boomed.

"I don't care that's the rules of the underworld, and until you can pay me a larger sum than who paid me I will not break my agreement!" The bartender yelled back.

The man lifted his spear to the bartender's throut. "Then I hope you don't mind us taking a look though the rooms then now will you?" The man said.

I looked at the HUGE men at the bar. I Gulped hard. I could use my powers to cause them pain but...

I stood up, pushing my chair back. I went up to them. "What's this about?" I asked angrily.

They turned to me, The guy held his blazing sharp knife to me. "Stay out of this Missy." They said.

I pulled the Knife down and looked him straight inthe eye. "If I were you I would back down right now becasue your messing with some serious power that you would NEVER imagine." I grinned.

He flashed his sword at me, He missed I grabbed his arm, Then flipped him and he landed on the wood. I caused him pain by staring at him. He grunted in pain. I let him go and said. "He's not here, so get out and leave this poor man alone."

"How do you know who we are looking for?' he asked.

I Smiled. "Because I can read minds, and don't be questioning me." I said.

"I'm not afraid of you Little girl." they all laughed together.

"Oh really, Then I guess I'll have to gather some of my mothers powers together and SHOW you what you SHOULD be afraid of." I said.

"Oh and whos your mother?" They asked grinning.

"Athena." I said grinning. They backed out slowly as I waved my hand at them- "Go."

"We honestly don't care who your mother is, as far as we care your a traitor to us and your mother for impeding our quest." The man said.

They drew there weapons, bronze and silver swords and sheilds.

"Hey maybe Avalon will give us a promotion if we bring the trator in alive?" one said.

I walked out of my room, my hands in my pocket's my eyes connecting with the leader.

"You know after I shock up that greek building back in Chicago, you would think Avalon would come after me himself. Not some stupid lowly bounety hunter's, whatever doesn't matter I'll take you three out now." I said.

I reached behind my back and one swift movement a one handed sword appeared, in a blaze of flames. The handle silver the edges of the blade itself, black and the main part blood red.

I backed away slowly, running into the bar. I Gulped hard then sat down. I kept thinking about what I could do but nothing came to mind.

"You talked a pretty big game Selene, but you should let me handle this." I said.

"About time son of Ares we have been hunting you since Chicago." The leader said.

Yea, I kinda know that. By the way, it's SON OF MARS! Not Ares." I saidcreating a fire ball in my free hand.

I look at him. "I'm The daughter of ATHENA. I think I can handel these...Twigs" I said. I grinned. I stepped infront of him. "now boys, do you want to see what it's like to fight the demi-goddess of war?" I asked

That's when all of pluto had broken loose, I shot first with a fireball then charged in two handing my one handed sword cutting into the shield of Avalon's goons. we fought like demon's like, death was no matter to us. I slammed head long into sheilds, and stabbed on though there defenses.

My eyes stood wide as he just KILLED those people. My jaw dropped as One of them headed for me. I smiled and punched him in the face then,Flipped him and kept him in a arm lock then i grabbed his head and twisted it sideways, hearing a crack I let it go and he fell to the ground.

"Ha you bounty hunter's ain't much of a threat, makes me wonder just how low ranking you guys are?" I said.

I looked around at the mess and knew I had gotten a little to excited with my battle. I looked over to Selene and was amused to see she had him in an arm lock.

"Let him up." I said.

"I want Avalon to get the message that I want him to come and fight me."

I sat watching Selene and the man easily take care of the huge men that were bothering the bartender. I wasn't entirely sure about the one man: He had a massive energy that he was trying to hide but if I heard him right, about him being the son of mars, then it would make sense. "Impressive fighting style. Quite impressive." I muttered resting my arms on the table and looking around the room.

I finished off the guy. I laughed to myself as I went and got another guy. I caused him pain by stare, then he dropped to the ground, I let the pain go, then grabbed him by the arm then broke it, I punched him then smacked him. He fell to the ground. I panted as I finnaly sat down next to Xane, pushing the hair out of my face.

"Nice" I thought.

I walked over to the remaining guy and picked him up by his armor. and stred him right in the eye.

"Listen carefully I'm giving you one chance to give Avalon a message. Tell him to come after me himself no more petty bounty hunter's who can't even sratch me, got it?" I said strongly.

He nodded. "Now get out of here." I yelled.

He ran out the door not forgetting his sword I knew it be awhile before I had another purser.

I walked over to the table where Selene was sitting at and took a deep breath.

"Nice job." I said smiling. Xane rested his elbows on the table. "Oh and this is Xane."
