*Just developing the character of Ptolemy- he's an angel who goes by Tolly and is almost as old as the Universe. In fact, the only one older than him is Menelaus. Tolly just calls him Mel.*
Tolly saw the girl chuckling to herself by the bar, and made his way over to her, sitting down wearily on the neighbouring stool. "Hey, there. The drink any good here? Haven't had a good drink in- well, in too long." Tolly smiled at the girl, and stuck out his olive-coloured hand. "I'm Tolly. What's your name?"
"What we're trying to do is to write cricket bats, so that when we throw up an idea and give it a little knock, it might...travel."
"Hey, Selene. Look, sorry if I startled you- I didn't mean to..." His voice trailed off as he realised the girl was still looking at him nervously. "I am sorry, really." He concentrated for a second, filling the air around them with what he called the 'happy-go-lucky vibe'. The girl seemed to relax a little, so he tried again. "Can I get you a drink? I'm on leave for a week, so I need to blow my commission somehow." Selene nodded curtly, and he waved a hand to the barman. "Another of whatever the lady's drinking, and a vodka-coke for me, please. Thanks."

I smiled. "Thanks..." I smiled. rested my arms on the counter. Lots of boys have came up to me today, and saring me and everything. It was getting kinda annoying. But knowone has bought me a drink before, it was sweet.
All you need is faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie-dust!
"So," smiled Ptolemy, once the drinks had arrived. "What brings a girl like you to a backwater place like this?" He winced at his own words, and shook his head. "Sorry. Been spending time with ol' Capone again. Seriously, though, I've never bumped into you here before. You new?" He sipped the vodka-coke and shivered as the strong liquid seared down his throat, the heat warming him through.
