Abbey~~

Abbey laughed hard and gossiped with the others, making the entire cabin burst at the seam.

"So that's why the this guy was like 'screw that' and I answered him with a 'screw you'," Abbey laughed, thinking of how fun this was going to be, "I have a proposition that we leave this cabin and stalk around for more people!"

Abbey made a heroic pose and dashed out of the cabin while the others followed.

Jon~

Jon sighed staring at the people who found their way to their own cabins.

I wonder if ants could travel at the speed of light they could take over the planet

He was a bit dazed, which was dangerous to do when walking about. So, instead of going towards the tree stump that looked tempting he now tried to track down Abbey, who was obviously having a bit of fun from her laughter floating throughout the camp with other girls. He abruptly ran into one of the girls.

Name: Diana Thomson

Gender: female

Age: 16

Picture: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_thumbview_approve/10109752/2/istockphoto_10109752-red-hair-portrait-woman-with-blue-eyes.jpg

(best pic I could get)

Her father was on her side, and sent her to the camp where he hoped she could get away from her stuffy life and overbearing mother.

++WINTER++

I got out of my Aunt Carol's car, immediately shaky and cold. I felt like I was going to hurl any moment, or maybe melt. I swallowed down my anxiety with difficulty before timidly making my way to a man who looked like he was in charge. "Excuse me," I asked quietly, thinking hard about anything but throwing up on his shoes. "Wha- or, I mean wher- I, don't know..." He cut me off with a smile, asking my name. I stuttered out My last name and he nodded his head, pointing over to a cabin. I couldn't hear what he said because my ears were filled with cotton now. A cabin, with other people, most likely. 'They won't like me, I think,' but quickly get rid of the idea. I start walking towards the cabin, lugging my blue duffel bag behind me, when I run into a much taller someone. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" I say, blushing, avoiding looking up. I quickly pick up my duffel, but drop it again when I try to run in the opposite direction. "Darn it," I mutter, my face hot.

(Could this be Jon? Y'know, since he ran into a girl? And I'm a girl? And I need to come in now?)

Evangeline
Yeah, it was going to be a whole new experience for her since she wasn't really used to been out of the city. She considered herself a total city girl: in love with problems, causing them and fashion. It was going to be sort of like a challenge.
So she went out of the van that was taking her and her brother, and didn't even mind to say bye to him.
"So are you at least going to say a thing" Her brother asked her mockingly, poking her shoulder.

"Leave me alone," she said quietly. " And could you please ignore me, so I don't have to deal with your presence?" She asked him, before going to her cabin.

"My pleasure!" He shouted her. Did she care? NO, she just wanted him to leave her alone. So she walked quietly to her cabin thinking about all the changes she was going to see in the next weeks. But all of a sudden she bumped into someone.
"Sorry" Evangeline said.

***this could be anyone***

Aidan
His sister was a total case and he couldn't help to laugh at her. Those expressions she made and how she reacted to his every word: she definitely was special. But he had one word for her...bitchy.
So he walked to his cabin with his guitar in his hand and his skateboard on the other, he hoped there was a place for him to skate because if there wasn't was definitely going to make some trouble.
But...yeah, he was lost. He needed to ask help.

Diana

I lugged my duffel bag over my shoulder. Somewhat nervous about this camp, and if people would accept me. While walking sown the dirt trail to my cabin I saw a group of girls head out of the log building. I laughed at the enthusiasm. 'This might not be so bad.' I thought, walking into the, now empty, cabin. Sleeping bags and backpacks, were situated in messes on the beds.

I found an empty top bunk, refusing to take a bottom one, near a small window at the far end of the room. I swung my bag up, not bothering to unpack now. Walking out of the cabin I went in search of other people, taking a look around the place.

I turned the corer to find a boy with a guitar in one hand. He looked confused, so i went up to help him. "Hey. Are you lost?" I asked, he turned to me startled at first.

"Yeah looking for my cabin." He chuckled lightly. "I'm Aidan." he introduced. "Diana." I replied with a light smile.

"Well, I would be happy to help you find the cabin. It looks like you may need an extra hand." I offered, holding out my hand for the skateboard, but instead he flopped his bag in my arms, which I didn't mind. "Thanks." He said.

'Skateboard, and guitar. I like this guy already.' I mused.

*Darliana*

I smiled shaking water out of my hair. First day here and I'd already made out with a counsler. I chuckled lightly as I wrapped a towel around my waist and walked to my cabin.
Pulling on a pair of shorts and a black and white tanktop I strolled outside. I was headed to the main ground for another smoke but someone bumped into me.
" I'm sorry." She blushed and looked around me. I put my hands on my hips.
" You should be."
" Are you british?" I kicked a rock. Damn accent.
" Are you annoying?" She laughed nervosly.
" Well, umm. I, uh-" I rolled my eyes.
" The name's Darliana. Everyone calls me Dari."
" Nice to meet you Dari," she smiled and I draped my arm across her shoulder before pulling out a smoke. She eyed me suspiciously.
" What? You want one." She shook her head.
" I don't smoke," I just smiled and sat down by a tree we were about to pass.
" Goody goody, hmm," before she had a chance to reply I stood up and took her by the arm. I pulled her to the cabin. She quickly put her things in the bunk below mine.
" Wanna go for a swim, the water's nice." She shook her head no. I pulled a towel from my bunk," Suit yourself, I'm going for another dip." I wasn't even fully out the door before she was telling me to wait up.
" My names Evangeline. Call me Evan." I hopped the gate and helped her over.
" Isn't Evan a boy's name." She sat on the edge of the pool.
" Well, I guess." I laughed and jumped in, splashing her with a few drops.
" I'll call you Eve." She nodded and jumped in after me.

Our bunk leader was named Sara Parkson. I find that out as she walks into the cabin and puts her stuff down on the bed labeled: Bunk Counseler. She is a blonde, dyed obviously, and very thin.

Me and Eve had been flipping through a Vouge magazine, laughing at the ridiculous outfits of the stars. They needed to get some taste in style.

Sara comes in and announces, "Okay everybody, time to sign up for you electives. Put your name under..." All the girls rush to the form. I will just take whatever is left.

When they are done there is a spot in Performance Spotlight and writing. Writing wasn't my favorite, but it would do.

All the other girls excitedly chatter about the electives, and I am happy to join in the conversation. These girls are so nice. My only problem is the scent of cigarettes wafting for Dari's cloths.

I fall asleep after dinner very excited for the next day. I was ready to start Camp Hillbay.

The next day came too soon, and before I knew it I was in breakfast. I carried my tray over to my seat. But as I did, I ran into someone and the food went flying all over his camp t-shirt. I put my hand over my mouth.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry. I grab a napkin and start dabbing at his shirt. he wipes the stuff off his face and gives a sarcastic laugh. Realizing it is hopeless, I chuck the napkin into the trash can.

His laugh turns into a frown and he mutters something about Camp Hillbilly.

"I am really sorry." I say. Leave it to me to do something like this.

"Its....fine..."He chokes out. I apologize again and sink into a table of my laughing bunkmats. Little did I know we would later be in the same writing elective, and that we would end up as partners.

"It's...fine" I choked out.

'Dammit', I thought to myself. Figures that the shirt gets messed up the first day I wear it. How it was that difficult for people to carry their food to a table without spilling it was far out of my understanding, although I suppose it'd be better on someone else than consumed. That stuff tasted awful. At least, that's my opinion. I've always been a bit of a picky eater.

I really didn't want to go around with a bunch of revolting food stains for me to smell and see everywhere I go, so I headed back to the cabin feeling irritated and looked around for a different one.

That's where I really got bugged. Not a single shirt in my suitcase. I thought that I packed them. As it appeared, I hadn't, or someone stole them all. I needed to do something about this shirt.

It was pretty warm out. It seemed sensible to wash it up in a sink and then I could wear it wet until it dried. I walked near some of the bathrooms. For some reason, they only had sinks on the outside wall.

I threw the shirt off and put it into the sink, which was pouring cold water. I reached into my pocket and grabbed my mp3 and put on Fortunate Son by CCR. I tried moving the stains directly under the sink, and eventually they faded. The shirt was cold, clean, and wet.

I turned around had my shirt in hand, but I ended up face to face with someone who was right behind me.

"AGH!", I shouted. I was scared as hell. How long was that girl behind me? Why was she there? My surprise faded when I realize I dropped my shirt. Now, if you've never tried it before, soak up a t-shirt and put it on dirt ground. Lucky me, I had a shirt that was even more dirty than before.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry. Again", she said, looking down at the shirt.

I took a look at her; I'm pretty sure she was the same girl that bumped into me with the food in the first place. I picked up the shirt and put it back in the sink under cold water.

"So, why exactly did you follow me?", I asked, somewhat regretting having that be the first question I asked.

"I..." she started. She didn't seem to know why for a moment. "I just felt sorry, and you left kind of angry, and...I don't know, I didn't want to have an enemy on my first day?"

She seemed either nervous, or that she short by a few screws.

"I'm Kimy, by the way", she added.

"Jake", I said back.

Jon~~

"Why hello there," Jon said a bit off wondering about inertia and people.

The girl blushed even redder, Jon couldn't see that as even possible. He noticed his looming height and bent his back a little more so his face was close to her own.

"Have you seen my friend Abbey running about?" He whispered with a slight smile, "She's yay high is a bit loud."

The girl rapidly shook her head no.

"I like you, you probably think about the ants and the world destruction too," He muttered, the girl just staring.

He looked like a giant lost puppy almost.

Abbey~~

Abbey's eyes were wide as the food was dished out to the students in the dining hall.

"This is so cool!!" Abbey exclaimed, "Can I try that?"

She was admiring how they didn't cook outside or anything, it was a completely new concept to her. Jon was behind her staring out, spaced out a bit.

"Let's sit over there!" Abbey was getting too exited, she was home schooled back home anyway for a certain incident.

"Hi!!!" She greeted some people, Jon nodding behind her.

"I have an idea! Stay right here." I tell Jake. I run back to my cabin and grab a bottle of diet 7-up, the closest thing I have to seltzer. I run back to the fountain and grab his shirt. When I open the can and pour it on the shirt he looks a bit shocked, then relived as the stains begin to fade.

Before the can is even empty they are almost gone. I run the shirt back through the water then hand it back to him. He turns it over, and puts it on.

"Thanks!" He said.

"Your welcome. Its an old trick my mom taught me for getting stains out." I shrug.
"Well, it works, so." He laughs, and I join in.

"I am sorry, again." I say.

"No harm, no foul." He replies.

"Hey did I hear you mention something about Camp Hillbilly before?" I ask. He laughs again. Then nods.

This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.

+++WINTER+++

After a quiet night spent reading in my bottom bunk and a lonely breakfast, I was fed up with the stupid camp. I wanted to be back with Aunt Carol in the city where I knew people. 'Oh, stop it,' I tell myself. 'You're being a baby. Go say hi to someone.'

After debating with myself (lonliness, or embarrassment?) I decided to suck it up and go looking for someone who was by themselves as well. Walking around, I noticed how everyone seemed to have already made friends. The girls from my cabin, those guys over there, that group of people, that boy and girl by the sinks. I sighed, and sat down in the shade of a big tree. I could always meet someone later. Right then I was tired, an only wanted to sleep with the warm tree next to me and the cool breeze playing with my hair. I sighed, already feeling myself letting go...
