Else

"Nick, are you okay?" I asked him. He nodded then let out a gasp of air. I knew he was probably very teird.

"Fine." he replied. I was so angry at them, all of them. why did they have to disturb our peace.

"We need to get out of the country. But you were very brave, acting on spot like that."

"I was, but where should we go?"

"Somewhere we can still preform." Maeve said.

"Where they speak English." Oliver said.

"Not near any big cities." Charlie commented.

"Hey, what about Australia?" good Juliette said.

"Nick," I said, "Send me and Aron back to the campsite. I need to take a look at something."

"No way!" He said. I had a feeling he would say that.

"Nick, please! And if she wants Eve can come to. I want to try and reason with these people. I can play a human who just watched one of their shows. They won't know the difference."

Eve Enchantress

"Nick, Maybe we should try. If things get worse then maybe.." I started until my sister interrupted. "I don't think you'll be able to reason with these people, but if you insist on going back then I'm coming too." They looked at her and nodded.

"Keep in mind, we're going to need a way back, so I suggest you or Charlie come with us." Eden told Nick. He frowned slightly, thinking about it.

"There's something about them and I think that if I get close to them I might just be able to gather some information." She exclaimed.

Sam. Can clone himself.

"California? Great." Sam snorted, cloning himself almost as instinct. If people were going to try and find him, then he was going to do his damn best to make it hard for them.
The three Sams flopped down onto the grass, stretching out their legs and watching the scene in front of them. Why Eve and Else wanted to go back to the camp was beyond Sam; all he wanted to do was put the men as far behind him as possible. But maybe Else was just the more machotistic one.
"Probably because I have to share all my testosterone with you," he grumbled to his clones.
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

>>Sorry for not posting I was playing xbox with my friends all last night<<

Aron, Tracker ~

I had been on the edge of camp. The men walked casually out like they didn't need to worry about anything. I was about to pick up the rifle off my back and begin to assault, but I thought better of it and jumped down from the tree and started running toward the center of camp.

I felt a strange feeling take over my body then everything went white for two seconds and I was somewhere completely different the others on the ground around me. Everyone had begun discussing what to do and where we were, but I didn't bother adding to the noise.

Then I heard Else say "Send me and Aron back to the campsite. I need to take a look at something" to Nick.

This instantly grabbed my attention and I walked over to see what they were talking about. "Whats going on over here" I asked.

"Aron You'll come back to camp with me right?" Else replied not answering my previous question.

Why does she want to go back there? I thought. "If you want me to and you have a good purpose I shall escort you, yes."
"If the king doesn't lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?"

(sorry, here..)

Eden Psychic telekinetic

"Hey if we are all going I want to see of Maeve wants to come, just another safety precaution, she can become on of the men." I offered looking back at her. "If she's willing to go." I added. "Whatever will help the circus." She said with a nod. I smiled at her in gratitude.

"Is everyone ganging up on me?" Nick breathed.

"It's more like forced help." Eve smiled, trying to lighted the mood.

"Anyone who wants to go back to camp and help us speak up." I announced.

"So we have Else, Eve, Eden, Aron, and Maeve, possibly Charlie." Eve said.

Aron, Tracker ~

"Are you sure its a good idea to go? Unless its something very important we might now be able to fight them and how will we get back here?" I asked

Eden psychic telekinetic

I nodded at Aron. "That's why I suggest either Charlie of Nick come with us so we can teleport back immediately when things get rough." Eve nodded. "I was hoping not so many were willing to go." She mumbled, a light breeze
swept across the group, bringing a heavy tension with it. An aftermath to what had happened before.

Else

"No, no, no! This needs to be a small, two person operation. Me and Charlie will go. Nick, you have to stay here and lead the group. Please trust me." I said.

"If you get yourself killed I swear I will never forgive myself." Nick said.

"Well then, I won't. Stay here until we come back. I shouldn't be long."

I looked to Charlie and he nodded. After a quick burst of wind I found myself at the campsite. I had already changed into jeans and a t-shirt, to match my story.

"Charlie. Go behind a tree, stay there. They will still be here." Just as Charlie hid a group of men stepped out from behind the tree.

"Oh, good sirs. I am awfully lost. After the circus people made a mistake they all scattered and I don't know where my mommy is and..." I burst into fake tears. My plan was working.

"Made a mistake?" A man asked.

"Yes. The girl went to do a trapeze act and her ropes got cut. We didn't see she was wearing ropes until the accident. The circus is just a big bunch of fakes. And the' clones' were actually twins. They had different nose's. But it doesn't matter. Just help me get home." I said. They were buying it.

"So the acts weren't real." A man asked.

"All a big bunch of fakes."

"And I thought we had them!" Another man said. He looked at me. His eyes narrowed slowly.

"Have you heard of the misfit circus?" He asked.

"Yes, they are in Paris now. Actually my aunt..." Before I could even finish my sentence they were gone.

After we were sure they were gone Charlie came up from behind the tree.

"That was incredible. They are so stupid, they totally bought that. And the fake tears were great." He let out a long laugh and I laughed too.

"Come on, lets tell the others how it went." I said. Then we were standing back at camp.

"Success!" I said.

"Wait that's it. It only took you that long. They are dead already." Maeve said.

"No, but they think we are in Paris!" I said. Nick smiled. For once I had done something right.

Nick,

I shake my head, smiling.

"That was reckless, Else,"

"Yeah? So what? It worked didn't it?"

"Yes, but if it hadn't..."

"Then I'd still be here. Charlie would have gotten us out," she says.

"Yeah, Nick," says Maeve, "lighten up. They're both fine."

"And for that I'm glad, 'cause otherwise I'd have to go and find them."

"Why would you bother to do that?" asks a snide voice. Kili. I sigh.

"Get out of it, Kili. I don't want to deal with you right now."

She tries to speak, but I cut her off, "Kili. Shut up, before I teleport you to the bottom of the Atlantic."

Everyone laughs, and Kili stalks off.

Maeve, physical transformation

"Hey, Nick," Maeve scurried over to him, "What's the game plan now? I've talked to Sam and he's going to help me with my act, but with all of this government stuff... I just don't know. I'm a little confused." Her form flickered slightly, as if she was thinking about changing her appearance.

Sam walked up beside her, "Hey, did you guys need me?"

"Oh, no thank you, Sam. I was just telling Nick how you was going to help me with my act...Right?" She smiled very sweetly and batted her eyelashes at him. Nick chuckled, and Sam's face turned bright red.

Else

I finally felt like I belonged. I was almost happy now.

"Do we need to learn Australian?" Sam asks. We all laugh.

"They speak English, Sam." Juliette says. We laugh again.

"So, when do we start our first show?" Maeve says.

"How about two days. We can set up near Roxby town. It isn't a major city, but we will still have a large audience. I can hand out flyer's. Maeve can help. She can do a poor beggar girl thing. Well, I mean if that's okay with you Nick." I said.

He nodded, still smiling. Then there was another swarm of wind and white. Then I found myself in the exact place where I had wanted to be. Then a bunch of random memories hit me at once.

I run down the stairs, my dad walks out the door. I get mad and as he shuts it runs through the door. I remember being shocked. That was only the second time I used my powers.

My mother, a few years older, crying at the table, a letter is in her hands. I have been 'invited' to an asylum. A fight between me and her.

I am packing things in a bag, and I run away to find the legendary camp.

As I run I hit my head on a tree. I wake up to find a boy, who I later find out is Nick, standing over me. Kili is there too. I couldn't remember anything.

But now I did.

It all came back, in chunks and pieces, my whole story fit together. Then I became aware of everyone staring at me.

"Nick, how did you know this was the exact place I was thinking to come to?"

"I didn't. I just used your thoughts to put us here. Are you okay, you look shaken?"

"Whatever you did, Nick, it brought back my memory. I remember now. I remember my past. And my mom is still alive...."

Nick looked at me with sad eyes. He looked like he was holding back tears. He sighed and said, "I didn't think I would lose you again so soon."

"But I am not going back. This circus is like my family. There is no way I am leaving now." I said. Then I looked at the rest of the circus, "Who is ready to preform, Australian style?"

Nick came up and hugged me.

*for an idea what the area looked like where we landed: there is actually a place, but it called Roxby downs...

Zoom in towards south australia until you see roxby downs, near lake Torrens national park. Then put the little yellow dude somewhere on Axehead road.*****

H. Smith

After talking with the girl, I ordered everyone back into the forest. She thought we were fools.

"Track her," I ordered. Someone pulled out a high tech device.

"Sir, they've been teleported to California," The man reports.

I obviously hadn't believed the girl. I mean, they had teleported completely out of sight. Plenty of my men had seen them use powers.

Yes, they were Misfits.

"Alright men, were off," I called out. "Next stop, California."

Zack

I spotted Kili stalking away from the group.

"Kili!" I called out.

She glared at me and made no move to stop her course.

"Kili, I have a deal to make," I said. This caught her attention.

I glanced toward Nick. "Best not here, though," I said.

We found a secluded spot and began talking.

"Okay, what kind of 'deal'?" Kili asked suspiciously.

"One that benefits you both ways," I said, whisking out a 100 dollar bill I had nabbed from a circus attender. "You see? You get this, if you do one thing."

"That is?"

"Draw Charlie away from the group somehow, then distract everyone from the fact. I want to have a... heart to heart talk with our new friend. I benefits you both ways. You get to cause trouble, and get paid for it."

"And what are you to gain?" Kili asked.

"If you want this," I brandished the bill. "It's not for you to know,"

Kili seemed to think a moment, then agreed.

I saw Zack talking to Kili, this couldn't be good, but I ignored them and thought about Nick. Maybe he actually does like me, I thought. Then I pushed it out of my mind. The Sam's were already setting up camp off in a distance. On the barren land the red and blue circus tent looked like a white spot on a page of black. I helped Sam push the sign up, and then I stepped back to admire my home. It was colorful, bright happy. But more importantly it was mine.

"If you get yourself killed I swear I will never forgive myself." I remembered Nick saying this. Was it merely a comment on friendship, or something more. Boys! Why can't they just come out and say they like you.

But what if he hasn't said anything because he doesn't like me, at least not like that. The thought struck me hard, like a slap in the face. I shook it off. I decided to just let fate take its course. Maybe we would end up together.

I sure hoped so.

Kili, controls emotions,

I'm suspicious of Zack, but he's better than most, in my books. So I decide to play along with him, for now. I snatch the hundred dollar bill.

"Deal," I say sweetly, shaking his hand.

"Really?" He doesn't look convinced.

"Yes, really, Zack."

"Okay then! Get to work. I expect to see Charlie in twenty minutes."

"Right-o," I grin, and prance off to find Charlie. I pass the Sams as they work on putting up the tents, and I kick up some of the tent pegs, giggling as I do.

"Hey!" all of the Sams say.

"Whoops!" I say cheerfully, waving at them. I love this Australian weather. Dry, just the way I like it. Then, as if fate wants to spoil my fun, I run into Nick.

"Kili, why did you do that to the Sams?"

"Why do you think I did, moron? 'Cause it was funny!"

Before he can say another word, I scurry off. I locate Charlie, alone for once, and make a beeline for him.

*******

Nick, teleporter,

I don't know how I did it. I'm no psychic. That's Eden's job. But still, the fact remains that I somehow felt Else's thoughts. And now we were here, in Australia. Not bad, as places go. I knew, though, that those men in suits were going to find us soon, no matter what we did. Sure, I could keep teleporting us to new places, but we had a business to run, which involved getting near towns, where those creeps could post contacts. I sigh. What a nightmare.
And then, of course, my feelings about Juliette and Else keep conflicting. Now that good Juliette was back, anyway. Girls! Why can't I understand them?
I notice Kili giving the Sams hell. I teleport next to her.

"Kili, why did you do that to the Sams?" I ask, for no particular reason, knowing that she won't respond.

"Why do you think I did, moron? 'Cause it was funny!" Then she runs off. I have to use all of my strength of will not to shout some very nasty things after her.

>>>I said I would play government officials. Tazakk is playing one, and he's got an actual character profile for his. Mine will be kind of generic. You know, like the point of view of a random soldier, or maybe one of the high ranking officials.<<<

Lt. Burggs, Special Forces soldier, posted in California,

I receive the message from Smith in the early afternoon. Misfits recently teleported to near our post. I get some of my best men, and head to the sight that Smith had pinpointed on the map. Our instruments pick up very faint signals from the area. The Misfit freaks had left a while ago, to Australia, by the looks of it. I call Smith personally.

"Mr. Smith, sir?"

"Yes?" crackles his silky voice.

"The Misfits are no longer in the area. It appears as if they teleported again, to somewhere in the Australian region."

"Damn!" says Smith, "That's not in our territory anymore."

"We've got some men here who can do an undercover mission," I interject smoothly, trying to conceal my excitement.

"Oh, yes, and I take it that you're one of them, Burggs?" comes Smith's icy voice.

"Well...Yes, yes I am, sir."

"Very well. Assemble your men. Catch the freaks, or else," And then Smith hangs up.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.
