Else

"Charlie are you okay?" I asked. I had heard screaming and his face was covered in sweat.

"Just....bad...memories." He choked out. I went and sat beside him. As I did, Nick burst into the tent.

"Charlie, what is going on?"

"Something about bad memories." I told Nick. Charlie nodded.

"Should we leave you alone?" I asked him. He nodded once, and I walked slowly out of the tent, Nick close behind me.

"Nick, about our act, do you mind if I try something new?"

"What do you have in mind?"

"Okay, so I escape out of the box but instead of walking in front of it I end up somewhere in the audience!"

"That would be really cool." Nick agreed.

"I think we should practice it though." I nodded.

"That would be wise." Then the two people from the Australian government came up.

"Do you mind if we watch?" One asked.

"Not a bit." I said. Nick's face held a trace of annoyance at my comment, but I didn't ask why. When I walked into the tent the box was already there. below the box was a pool of water, filled with sharks.

"It was Juliette's idea." I said. Nick gave me that you-promised-not-to-do-anything-dangerous look. I sighed and rolled my eyes. Then I hopped into the box, ready to practice my act.

>>>Well...Okay, summergirl13, if you post your profile for Kat TODAY, then you can come back.<<<

Kili, controls emotions,

I return to my tent before performance time, and I finally let out my laughter. The look on Nick's face...Priceless. Just priceless. And then I think about Else, and my mind boils with anger. Curse her! Curse her "I want to save everyone" persona. I hate her.
Quite suddenly, a plan pops into my head. An ingenious plan. A dangerous plan. A plan that will rid me of those I hate. Forever.

******

Nick, teleporter,

I finish helping Else, annoyed at the nosiness of the Australian guys. Then I go to get ready. As I get my top hat for the performance, I think about everything that's happened in the past two days. The Americans. Juliette. Else. Australia. Charlie. Everything swirls around my brain. It just doesn't make sense. Why would the American government want to capture us? What possible use could we have? But I can't fool myself. If they built an army of people like us, people with powers, who appear not to age, then they would, quite simply, be the most powerful people on the planet.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Else

The audience comes in. I swear this is the largest attendance we have had in years. People are even beginning to sit on the ground. Maeve was more convincing than I thought. Then a big, black stretch limo arrives. The chief steps out. He smile and waves at the camera from a paparazzi. He comes up to me.

"You know, I thought 'mentioning' that there was a circus here might help your attendance a bit." He smiled, and I thanked him as we shook hands. My mother came out of the limo. She came up to give me a hug.

"Oh, Else, I am so proud of you. Good golly, will there be enough room for us?"

"I think so. I can get you special seats." I walk up to Kili, who is selling tickets.

"Kili," I said, keeping my voice business-like, "is there two seats left anywhere."

Then someone came up from behind and tapped me on the shoulder, "Make that three." Said my step dad. Kili checked the list and pointed to a three seat row in one of our two boxes.

"Its gonna cost though." She said grinning.

"Kili, I will pay. Can't you be nice for once in your life?" Kili handed them the tickets and went to unlock the box. Sam took over the selling.

I went backstage. Nick and my act was first.

Nick stepped onto the stage and began to announce the beginning of the show.

Maeve waved at Kili as she went inside to sit with the crowd, and Kili turned her head away as if she hadn't seen Maeve. Maeve didn't take offense to it, because she knew of Kili's behavior. Tonight the circus was very crowded, so she took a seat on the floor with everyone else. Nick and Else's act had been very stunning, and the crowd 'oooed' and 'ahhhhed' gratefully. Now it her and Sam's turn.

When she stepped into the tent, she had changed herself into Sam where no one could see her. Now, in his appearance, she jumped up and yelled out to Nick.

"Hey! Wait! I wanna be in your circus!" Nick gave a pretend startled look as Maeve ran across the stage and started pushing Nick across the stage, "Hey, it's ok, it's ok! I'll take good care of your circus, mister!" The crowd laughed as Else shrugged, pretending like she really was just some audience member.

"Hey people! I wanna join this circus, watch what I can do!" She waved the real Sam onto the stage, and he was pushing a tall drapery towards her. Sam stepped behind it, and when he came out, there was an extra Sam. They repeated this over and over, watching the crowd's reactions. Finally, when there was about 15 Sam's, Maeve addressed the audience.

"And now...." She stepped behind the curtain and changed back into her normal self, "TA-DA!" Sam lifted the curtain, and the crowd cheered.

Eve Enchantress

I heard the scream from Charlie’s tent. When I got there I saw Nick and Else leave to go work on their circus act. I went into his tent, driven by a mere curious and worried instinct. “Charlie are you okay?” I asked. He sighed. “I’m fine.” He told me his voice bordering on frustration. “Well that’s lie.” I stated crossing my arms stubbornly.

“It was just a bad memory.” He told me. I saw that he was tense, and his demeanor was forlorn and his eyes looked troubled. This look almost matched a look I’ve seen on Eden often when she was young and her mental walls were weak.

“Do you want to talk about it?” I insisted gently.

“Not really.” He replied.

“It’ll help.” I assured him.

“No it won’t.” I knew he wasn’t going to tell me, and I worried about him. Well I worried about practically everyone, so this wasn’t a big surprise.

‘Eden. Come here please.’ I contacted my sister through the bond, something I wasn’t able to do for a long time.

There was silence from my sister, but I knew she was coming. After a few minutes my sister entered the tent. I spotted the delicate violin in her hand, a small smiled formed on my lips. It was nice to know she was playing again.

She looked at me, confused as to why I brought her here. I just pointed to Charlie and left.

Eden psychic telekinetic

I sat my violin down and lay down next to Charlie. “Did something happen?” I questioned. “No.” he mumbled, with deteriorating patience.

“That bad huh.” I said. Earning a small chuckle.

“It was just a bad memory.” He sighed.

“A bad memory, or vision of the past. Well I suppose there isn’t much of a difference.” I shrugged. “It’s kind of funny that around all these people, it tends to be people like us who are a bit unstable.” I joked, brushing my fingers against his palm.

I suddenly found a pain in my stomach, as an onslaught of emotion attacked me. The feeling of pain, betrayal, and anguish flooded through my system. “I’m sorry.” I whispered.

"You didn't do anything." Charlie whispered. I shrugged. "In all honesty I'm scared." He turned and gave me a confused look. "I'm scared of the visions, and what they will unearth from both past and future." I explained remembering the little girl.

"You don't remember your past?" Charlie questioned. I shrugged. "Some of it yes, a lot of it, not really." I explained.

Else

Nick high-fived me as we walked offstage.

"You were incredible." I said.

"You are the one who got out of that box, not me." He stated.

"Well your the one who made me randomly appear in the audience."

"This fight is bordering on stupid."

"Yes it is." He agreed. The crowd was already beginning to empty. The show had seemed so short, but I loved it anyway. Then Kili came up to us. One careful step at a time.

"Good job Nick." she seemed to hiss.

"Else did most of the work." Nick stated. Kili looked shocked for a minute. then shrugged it off.

"Can I talk to you for a minute Nick," She looked at me, "without the half-breed." He gave me an apologetic look, then walked off to were Kili lead him.

Charlie:Empath

"Some of it yes, a lot of it, not really" Eden said.

" I wish I could say that, theirs a lot of things I'd like to forget" I said and Eden nodded.

"the vision of the past" She said and I nodded, I wanted to tell someone but was afraid they wouldn't except me if I did.

"what was it?" She asked, I didn't answer, so I just changed the subject.

"what was yours?" I asked, Eden looked down.

"a little girl said something about the government not being fooled" Eden said.

"your turn" Eden said looking up and putting away her face of though for a happier one.

"Mine was of the past, a mistake I made, I didn't want to make it but I couldn't control it, somethings are just.." I said but Eden cut in.

"I get it" She said I'd never used this part of the stolen power before but I was going to try and show her my vision.

"shut yours eyes, get ready, and don't hate me after you've seen what I did" I said, putting my hand on her head, Eden eyes slided shut and the vision poured out.

[[Takes place after Kili's done with Nick, I would just not post this but it took a decent amount of time and I don't want to put it to waste.]]

Kili was apparently not interested in performing the job I had paid her for, I decided to be a bit more persuasive.

I went into the dollar in her back pocket and floated out. I then left the dollar, reformed, and pocketed the cash. Now for the hard part.

I spied a few Australian guards, evidently late for the show. One of them had rather poorly disguised a pistol, and it clearly stuck out of his pocket.

I disintegrated and took the pistol, then followed Kili once again.

She was in her tent, sketching furiously on some scraps of paper. An odd thing for her to do, but that didn't matter. I floated in front of her and pointed myself at her head.

I then reformed and caught the gun in midair. "Allow me to revise our 'deal', Kili," I growled.

Kili looked up, startled. But she quickly recovered. "Right. Your just going to hold that gun to my head the entire time.

"Why yes I am. Twenty minutes, Kili," I became the gun again and pointed myself at her back, at a point she couldn't reach and at which I could shoot should she not perform her task.
When it comes to havoc, nobody wreaks like me!

Nick, teleporter,

I am suspicious of what Kili wants me alone for. But I look at Else, and she understands, and walks away. I know that she will be hiding somewhere close.

"Okay, Kili. What do you want?"

Kili blushes. I stare. This is very un-Kili behavior, "Well, Nick...I don't know how to say this, but, I've been worried. With all that's been going on, ya know?"

I'm surprised, "That's alright, Kili. What's wrong?"

"I just don't know what I'd do if we all got captured, or you guys got captured by those American creeps,"

"That's how we all fe-" And then, out of nowhere, Kili wraps her arms around me, and kisses me, full on the lips. I'm so taken aback, I don't pusher her away for a few seconds.

"Kili! What the?" But she's already running away, in a fits of girlish embarrassment. I turn around, and I see Else running in the other direction, stifling sobs. I go after her.

"Else!"

**********

Kili, controls emotions,

When I out of ear shot, I cackle loudly. Oh, yes! The first part of my plan is working delightfully well. Now I just need to find Daniel.
I, of course, was NOT worried about anything. But Nick was so gullible, he fell for it. And now, all I have to do is find Daniel...Which I do all to soon.

While I'm working out the logistics of my master plan, Daniel suddenly appears, apparently out of midair, holding a gun. I admit, at first I'm surprised. But I quickly recover.

"Right. You're going to hold a gun to my head the whole time," It's about his stupid plan. Stupider than mine, anyway.

"Yes, actually I am," he snarls, "Twenty minutes, Kili," He marches me out of the tent. Damn.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

Else

"I am going to give you twenty seconds to explain yourself." I said to Nick. I had stopped the tears, but the anger was building up inside me like water boiling on the stove.

"Twenty seconds, that's not very long. Ah, well. Else I absolutely swear I didn't know she was going to do that. She caught me by surprise."

"And yet you didn't pull away."

"I was too confused."

"But, Nick. I see what you mean but it hard to still love you after seeing her..." I realized what I had said all too late.

"You love me?" Nick asked. It was only half a question. I had no choice. I couldn't lie now.

"Yes." I said. another tear slid down my cheek.

"Well...I..." He looked like he was struggling for words, "I love you too."

"You do?" I said. Almost instantly the tears stopped falling.

"Well, yeah." He said. I smiled.

"Good, because..." I never got to finish my sentence because Nick leaned in to kiss me. Somewhere off in the distance I heard Kili's growl of rage. Not pulling back from the kiss I smiled.

Eden psychic telekinetic

The vision poured into my mind. I watched it unfold before me, a spectator to the scene. It wasn't hard for the vision to be processed into my mind, for I was a psychic. I could feel the warmth of the fire on my skin, and for a second I paniced, then I told myself nothing could happen to me.

What worried me the most was the anguich this thing must cause Charlie, and the hunger that had formed at that age. '...what you will become...' echoed in my head. Davis had seen something. I stared at him, scrutinizing his face, my ehart nearlt skipping a beat when it seemed that for a moment, when he had died he was staring right at me.
There was a dull throb in the back of my head, as if something was pushing it's way out. On instinct I tried to stop it from coming to my consciousness, but that only caused me to gasp in pain.

"Eden?" Charlie's worried vouice sounded. I could feel him pull his hand away from my forehead, but I quickly placed my hand ontop of his keeping it in place. I was trying, if I could, to see what his friend had seen. My goal sounded absurd, but before anything could happen, before I could see anything my mind was pulled back into reality.
Of course, although I didn't see anything, I could still pick up some information. My breathing was heavy so I took a moment to calm it. I turned to lay sideways and look over at Charlie.

"Are you okay?" I asked, recieving a look of shock from him.

"You saw everything right?" He asked as if he couldn't believe the words that had come out of my mouth. "Yes. Are you okay?" I reapeated.

He sighed then took in a deep breath. "So you mean, you don't fear me, after seeing that, seeing what I can do. I'm a monster Eden, can't you see that?" He reasoned, taking his hand away from my forehead. "Well, I fear for you, if that's any conssolation. Plus, I can't blame you I guess. This hunger thing you have, it's not your fault, and whatever Davis saw, it changed, which means there is no way to stop the hunger thing. Charlie, we are all monsters, every geing on this earth, whether we like it or not. Plus I trust that you want to overcome your hunger." I excplained.

Charlie took in a deep, frustrated breath. "Eden, you don't know what you are saying.." He began, stopping when I took his hand and placed it back on my forehead. "Are you hungry?" I asked him, seeing him tense.

Else

I walked back to my own tent. When I woke up in the morning I was shocked to find the sun high overhead. As I walked out of the tent, Nick came up to me.

"Good afternoon, sleepyhead." He said. I yawned.

"Good....afternoon?"

"You slept for a while. By the way I wouldn't go near Kili right now. She is going around swearing death on us all."

"Darn, I am upset. Because first thing on my agenda was definitely to go talk to Kili." We both laughed for a minute.

Juliette came up, "Guess what, Nick said we could do another show tonight. The attendance was so high for last night..."

I sighed, "Another show already?"

"Yup," Nick replied.

Then Kili walked up to me. Almost as an instinct, Nick stepped in front of me.
