Else, can change density

The new day came too quickly, and we had to pack up and move on. Aron had already gone ahead, to make sure it was safe to go ahead. He ran back to camp and gave the thumbs up. Sam had already taken down everything and compressed it, so we began to move. The Sam's had hummed the whole time, getting Pachelbel's canon stuck in my head.

My powers didn’t help much in the packing and moving process, but I was a valuable resource to find water. I could sink into the ground, and Nick could pull the water up.

Step Step Step. At dusk we stopped.

“Water, Else.” Nick said. I slid below ground. This time I was lucky. Water was only a few feet down. I rushed back up to the surface.

“About ten feet down, slightly northeast. Some contamination problems. Have Oliver grow use some barley to decontaminate the water.” I said.

“Oliver!” I shouted, he ran up.

“Yes,” he said, in his quiet way.

“I need some barley, just about a foot long strip.” Nick said. He nodded. Then out of the ground burst a small, rapidly growing plant. It stopped, and I picked it.

“Thanks,” Nick said. I nodded. Nick brought the water from the ground and I dropped the barley into it. Instantly the reddish hint began to fade.

“Water!” I called, and everyone ran for their fair share of the drink.

Else, can change density

They all ran for the fresh water, and I got out of the way. As soon as everyone had drunk their fill, I went to sleep. As I was trying to fall asleep, I was aware of someone saying my name.

I listened harder to hear Kili say, “..sick of her. She needs to leave the circus. All she does is cause trouble. She is such a show off; she thinks she has such a special power, but I have seen humans so cooler tricks. Even without magic they are better than her. Is what she does even special?”

“It’s obvious she has a power, she can make herself almost disappear!” Eve said.

“But she can be really obnoxious!” Juliette said.

“She shouldn’t leave the circus yet. The audience does love her act.” Eden said.

“She isn’t as bad as you think.” Sam said.

“Maybe there is a method behind her meanness. I bet there is something we don’t know about.” Nick said. I froze. What if they found out I was half human, they would kick me out. They didn’t want a half breed in here. Then they would question me, when I had not one clue about my past. Then, a tear leaked down my cheek.

Sam. Can clone himself.

Sam lay back on the ground and rested his head on his arms. He didn't feel like sleeping, not yet, anyway. He was content just to lie back and listen to the gentle murmurs around him. He didn't have any inclination to join in, but it was a pretty soothing sound. He sighed inaudibly and looked to the left; there was a clone of him lying at his side. Sam did this sometimes; the only company he generally got was a copy of him. Still, at least that meant it was an intelligent conversation.

((I'm just leaving it here. I'm not sure what else to write!))
"It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want."

*hey, I don't think Juliette would say that. She's in nice mode remember?*

I watched as my fellow misfits talked trash about Else. She was nice enough to this side of me. I'm not sure about the other side but she's cool with this side.

"Maybe there is a method behind her meanness. I bet there is something we don’t know about.” Nick said. Else didn't realize that I knew about her being half-human but I think the rest of the misfits were starting to notice something weird about her themselves.

I didn't want her out of the circus so I decided to charm Nick, who might I dare say, I have a huge crush on. I put nice thoughts about Else in his mind causing him to forget about everything bad.

"Well, maybe we should talk about this stuff tomorrow or something...I'm getting pretty tired" I said fake-yawning. I mentally charmed them all a bit too then they all reluctantly agreed. I could charm better when I spoke to them because my mental powers had only just bagan to develop but it did work! I went over to my sleeping bag and lay down ready to fall asleep before a loud bang interrupted me.

*Sorry about making Juliette say that, but I thought she was in mean mode. lets just leave it as-is. And Nick wouldn't have had to be charmed to say that.*

I woke up. I looked into a mirror to quickly check that my eyes weren't puffy, because I had been crying almost all night. They were only a little red. A bit of sun would make that go away. I walked out of the tent. People were friendly as usual, but I knew what they thought of me. I kept my head down to hide my red face.

"Hurry up people, we move in a half hour. We have a show tonight." Nick called. I felt like sinking into the dry dirt below me. Dirt wouldn't offend me. Dirt didn't hate me, at least I hoped not. People scurried around me, getting ready to leave. I had nothing to do, so I went to sit around the dying fire.

Seconds ticked by, then minutes, then I saw Aron begin to leave camp. I ran after him.

"Aron, do you mind if I join you today? I am feeling a bit bored." I had not heard him say anything about me last night.

"Sure, why not? Is something wrong? your eyes look a bit puffy." Aron said.

"I am fine, thank you." I said coolly. He didn't press the matter, and we set off running.

"What am I looking for?"

"Um, you can't see what I see. But can you check in the trees for things possibly stuffed in them from past camps?"

"Sure." I changed my density so each tree I went through I saw the inside contents. it was a great feeling, being free. Not being criticized, just running.

>>>Absolute last chance to post characters. I'm taking this off in an hour. Also, Nick doesn't talk trash about people. He's the kind who sees good in everyone.<<<

Nick, teleporter,

I feel really bad about the talk last night, and I dislike Kili even more because of it. Unfortunately, I don't get the chance to say anything to her, busy as I always am. I do give Kili the ol' speech, the one she always gets when she gets out of hand. As usual, she just rolls her eyes and walks away. I shake my head. That girl. After teleporting around to everyone, making sure that everything's in order, I finally find myself next to Juliette.

"Busy day?" she asks jokingly.

"Ya think?" I say glumly, "I'm just about sick of Kili, and...you know. Else."

Juliette nods, "Really, don't blame yourself for that. It all comes back down to Kili."

"Maybe," I say, "But..."

"Look," she says, taking my hand. I stare. She abruptly drops it and blushes. "It's just not your fault, Nick."

"Yeah," I say vaguely, teleporting away to check on our tent bags, still remembering the feeling of Juliette's hand on mine.

*****

Kili, controls emotions,

I feel extraordinarily happy from my talk about Else las night. Just my way of stirring up the ranks, if you know what I mean. I narrow my eyes just thinking about her. Still, I need something more...Permanent. I see Nick checking on the tent bag. I saunter up to him, just to see if his mental blocks are down. To my delight, they are. I work my way into his mind, changing things here and there, trying to make him feel like he suddenly had the urge to ask me out. Yes, I may be an evil mastermind, but I admit it: Nick's cute. Suddenly, he disappears, and I feel someone whirling me around.

"You! Get out of my head, you little-!"

I cut him off, "Tsk, tsk. Watch your language, Nick."

He glares at me. I smile sweetly, and skip away, secretly feeling downtrodden.
And remember...A portkey can be any sort of harmless object...A football...or a dolphin.

"Hey..." She cleared her throat and shoved her hands into her pockets, a little unsure of which one was the real one.

"Excuse me?" She moved a little closer to the two laying identical people laying on the ground, "Ummm... Sam?"

He blinked and opened his eyes, as well as the other same. Sam looked up at her, seemingly a little shy. He didn't say anything, just waited for her to talk.

"Ummm..." She was in her original form so that maybe he would feel more comfortable around her, "I was wondering... I mean, I know you don't participate in the acts and stuff, but I've seen your ability..." Her voice trailed off, and she looked at the clone of him, "and, well, I was wondering if maybe you could help me out with my act. You don't have to, but I think with yours, plus mine, maybe we could be a hit!"

Again, she let her voice trail off, realizing that she was talking too much.

Else

Finally we reached where we would set up camp. I sighed. The run had been long and hard, but the searching had cleared my mind and left me happier. I sat down on a log.

"Tired?" Aron asked.

"Yeah, but it was worth it." I said. "You know, last night. I heard most of your conversation. And not that I care or anything, but what did Nick say?"

"He stood up for you." Aron said, his eyes filled with remorse, "and I did as best I could."

"I understand." I said.

An hour later the rest of the group arrived. Sam was talking to Sam, and Juliette with Nick. They make a good couple, I thought, watching them laugh over a shared joke. I shook my head and watched as multiple Sam's set up out tents. They finished.

"Record time!" I said to Sam as he walked by. He gave a small bow. Nick came up to me.

"Where were you earlier? I couldn't find you."

"Oh, I went with Aron to help scout out the area. I actually found my gift quite useful. I was able to run right through the trees to look at them. You should have seen some of the squirrels faces!" I laughed, and Nick joined in.

Eden came up, "Juliette has fainted again." Me and nick shared worried glances, and ran over to where she lay.

Eden Psychic telekinetic.

Else had joined the others, my sister was already with Juliette no doubt but I decided to stay back with Aron. I looked at him, well more like up at him. He was practically half a foot taller than I. "You're the tracker." I stated out loud for no apparent reason. He smiled slightly. "Yes, and you're the twin." He replied. I nodded. Eve walked over to us, her red air pulled back into a bun. She briefly acknowledged Aron. "I think Juliette's bad side is coming." There was a moment of silence, barley a second long before she added. "Well, you probably already knew that." She mumbled. I just shrugged.

"Eden, come help me with an act, please." She almost begged. "Sure." She looked at Aron. "You can come if you want." She offered. "Why not." He decided. My sister turned back to me. "And maybe you can work on an act of your own." I frowned slightly, but followed her nonetheless.

*Edit: A.J. posted as I was typing XD let me edit a bit. Sorry for bad flow had to change it.

Aron, Tracker~

"On second thought I am going to go see what the others are doing."

"Oh, thats to bad. Well, see you later Aron" Eden replied.

I like those girls I thought, well I guess I like mostly everyone. I took amount moment to think about what had just happened. Although the run with Else had been pleasant, and sometimes it was good to have company. I could tell she had a really good time and I was happy about that. I really hated when she got abused by Kili. The thing I don't understand is why everyone cant ever get along. Its always picking sides and who is better than who I thought.

As we arrived in camp Nick and Sam came and greeted us, well Else mostly. Sighing I lagged behind Else then moved away to help the others build camp. We were about two days from the next town, a prosperous place in the heart of the country.

I met Oliver and Zach on the other side of camp. I jokingly jumped on top of oliver and knocked him to the ground. We both laughed. I really was in a good mood today usually I would do things for myself, but it always balanced itself out with the benefits to my tracking. The more I am around people with "gifts" the better I can sense them I thought.

Zach turned "Hey!"

"What are you guys up to?" I said.

"Oh, not much Nick wants me and Zach to set up the tents. Now get off of me." Oliver happily said.

"Haha, ok. Want some help?" I asked as I jumped off of him.
"If the king doesn't lead, how can he expect his subordinates to follow?"

Else

I watched Aron go and have fun with Oliver and Zach. Then main reasons I loved hanging out with guy’s so much is that they care less about the drama that the pig Kili had brought upon our group. I went over to Kili. The fighting had to stop. It had to end now.

“Kili, do you mind, I would like to have an honest talk with you for a minute.” My voice shook a little.

“In your dreams!” she said. Kili licked her lips evilly. “You know how Nick always announces the HUMAN escape artist. Well, I have figured it out. You are half human. I forced the information out of Juliette. Don’t blame her; the poor girl had no idea. Now the whole camp will find out, and they will kick you out for good. Finally, justice will be served.”

I didn’t respond, because I couldn’t. I had nothing to say.

“Silent for once?” Kili said. Then she ran towards Sam. My certain doom had begun.

Eden Psychic telekinetic.

There was a knot in my stomach as tried to focus on what Eve was doing. "..Like that?" She said. I looked up startled. "Yes." I replied, judging from the look on her face, my answer didn't quite fit the question. "Eden, what is it now?" She sighed. A wave of knowledge hit me. "Else." Was all I said before I started running back to camp, in search for her. Usually I didn't get into the drama, but this was different. I found her as Kili was running over to Sam. "Else." I said lightly running up to her. She turned to me with a look of fright and dread.

"You know." She stated, I nodded and it looked like she was about to run.

"Else, I don't care, I just wanted to let you know that I'll help you if you need it." I went silent as Eve ran up to us.

"Eden what is it?" She asked, I shrugged. She huffed and walked off to the others. I glared after Kili, why can't people get along? I wished silently. I looked over to see the guys messing around, silently wishing I could join them. "Want to go help them, take your mind off things?" I suggested to Else, hoping it might help.

Juliette, presently animator

I woke suddenly, feeling soft hands push me back down. I shoved Eve and stood, wiping the grass off my pants.

"Here comes the bad side" Eve murmered before turning and walking away. Bad side? I scoffed at the thought and went over to Kili.

"Hey, what I miss when Ms. Goody-goody was in control?" I said. She smiled and turned to me.

"Oh nothing other than the fact that Ms. Goody-goody gave out a bit of information that shouldn't have been told" she said vaguely with an evil smile on her face. Oh god, what had little miss perfect said?

"What happened?" I asked impatiently.

"Oh well nothing much just that ELSE IS HALF HUMAN!!!" she shrieked before collapsing with laughter. I let out a soft chuckle under my breath and walked away. Else would be kicked out for sure now. I didn't like her, I didn't hate her. That was pretty much how I felt about everyone but Kili. She was okay. Everyone else was just to damn optimistic.

I walked over to Nick to question when we were going to leave the little mud camp we set up.

"Nick, when are we going?" I asked in a bored tone. He looked towards me and blushed a crimson red. What?

"Nick, why the hell are you blushing? You look like a freakin tomato" I asked. He looked towards me and mumbled something un-identifiable.

"What?"

"Oh, nothing. It's just this morning..." he mumbled. Last night what the heck happened this morning or more importantly what did Ms. Charmy do?
