After i said we were fine, Adam, that was his name, moved on towards some girls that looked pretty banged up and i followed him, cautioning for Alyssa to follow. She had been wuiet ever since she saw Adam and i sensed and saw concern in her eyes. We walked back down towards the beach and this time I was espcecially careful to dodge the glass. I caught up, and limped beside Adam.

"Plane?....." He said. I frowned and gave an inward smile.

"You know, the big metal bird that flys in the sky." I said a tad mockingly.

"Like a Griffin?" He asked. Now i was the one lost for words.

"You know, the huge flying, bloodthirsty, bird." He said, the mockingness in his voice as clear the blue sky above me. :smt005

*Asavari*

Adam walked towards them, and I couldn't help but feel excited. He approached them carefully, and I wished I were the one in his shoes, how I longed to meet the humans, I would be wary of them, of course, but I wish I were meeting them right now.

Some of the survivors greeted him, I assume they asked him who he was, obviously suspicious of any other 'human'.

I could just hear him say, "I'm Adam", he paused, their faces questioning. I imagined myself there, me saying hello, and well... I guess that didn't go so well, because the next thing that slipped out of my mind couldv'e gotten me killed. And this is Atlantis.

I can't believe I just told them that! To let these humans learn of Atlantis. It was not to be known by outsiders, it posed too much of a risk. I am so foolish.

But, I was just there, I was Adam, and it just seeped out.
Mo. was here. :) mwahahaha

Adam

Atlantis. Adam had told them they were in Atlantis. What had he done?

I'm so sorry. Asavari whispered in his mind.

"So what is this place?" one of the girl's asked.

"Atlantis apparently," a young boy said.

A girl got an odd look on her face. "Atlantis? Like the magical underwater city?"

Underwater city. Adam scoffed in his thoughts. Such a ridiculous thing, but it must be a human legend.

Adam smiled and laughed a little. "Yes, like that. Of course, that is not actually this place. I call it Atlantis."

The humans seemed to accept this explanation, so Adam was relieved. Now he only had to be concerned with Asavari keeping herself hidden and in control of her power.

Atlantis huh, well i guess that's better than some other places, at least we're not on Cuba. Alyssa taps we on the shoulder and gives me a look that says, follow me. I gaze over the crash one more time and follow her down the coastline. The sun was starting to go down now and even as i looked back, i could see Adam nervously pacing around the group of survivors.

"What'd you want?" i asked and she turned around, not looking happy at all.
"I think he's lieing to us." She said
"What would make you think that?" i asked.
"Because, i can feel, that this island isn't a normal island" she said
"That's why you dont trust him." i said and laughed. She laughed it off and we began to walk to the forest to get some wood for a fire. Once our arms were full with twigs we started goingg back. But i swear, i saw a ghostly figure watching us.

"Do you see that person?" i asked

Harmony
Still standing behind Rachel, Harmony piped up, wincing as the sound of her voice made the throbbing in her head worse, "Okay, so you call it Atlantis, but where are we?! As in, where on the map? Near Europe? America?" She bit down on her bottom lip, as, Adam, she thought he'd called himself, remained quiet, as if he had already said too much, and didn't want to say anymore. She crossed her arms across her chest, the feeling of fear finally hitting home.

These "natives" weren't going to tell them where they were, for all she knew they were in the middle of nowhere. No way to contact advanced civilisations, no way to get back in the sky, or even out to see, not with a map anyway. She swallowed the lump in her throat, her gaze directed to Adam once more, "Please tell us."

I nodded. "Yeah. Let's hurry up and go back. This place gives me the creeps." We got back to the beach in little time at all. I noticed the native looking at me oddly. He was obviously staring at my looks. I almost pulled my hood up, but I remembered Jhon's words and stopped myself. I couldn't help but put my sunglasses on though.

Adam

The girl wanted to know so much that Adam could not answer. He searched his brain for all the things humans had told him before, but none had ever seemed to know anything about the island.

Adam glanced back toward the trees to try to pick out Asavari, her mother knew so much and trained her daughter to do the same, maybe she would know.

An odd looking human stood in his way, and noticed him looking. She fidgited with her jacket and eventually put dark glasses over her eyes. Adam didn't think much about it though, he was busy trying to signal Asavari.

"Do you know anything?" the girl asked him. "This guy is starting to freak me out," she said to another human nearby.

Adam spun around and stared her in the eyes. "I do not think you are in a place to be demanding anything, I surely know much more about this place that you will ever."

The girl looked shocked and frightened by Adam's loss of temper. He felt ashamed for himself, but was still to annoyed to worry. Where is Asavari?

I finally reached Adam and dropped my pile of wood on the ground. Glancing up, i saw his gaze pierce the forest line and he furrowed his brow.

"We should light a fire," i said. "We'll freeze to death before anything if we don't."
Adam's eyes darted towards me, he crouched to the ground, and drenched the wood with the surf's water. "What the-"

"You're not at home anymore." He said sternly "And if you want to live here, you do what i say."

"You know how we can get off this island?" A girl asked quietly.
"There is no getting off this island." He said turning, and beginning to walk toward the forest. All of remained silent, our hope had just got drowned and crushed under the ocean's waves.

I decided it time to go into the forest, not saying you have to right now, but it's time for the action to begin. Note: if this story is a hit, i was thinking we could make a sequel. I have some ideas, but its a little soon to tell. PM me with ideas

Adam

After he was sure no one had followed him back into the forest, he found Asavari again.

"Asavari, these humans are going to be a problem," he told her. "They will surely overset the balance of Atlantis."

"You were kind of harsh back there," she said, refering to his storming away and destroying the hopes of the humans.

Adam sighed. "I acted impulsively, but you and I both know what happens when a fire is started on the sand."

*eh, it's all i've got right now.*

She's heard him. what'd he mean, that they couldn't leave the island?? Not like she'd really left anything special behind, but her mobile had broken! She shakes her head, looking around at the other people who had survived, she speaks in a small voice, trying to stop her eyes from watering, "What now?"

"What now?" A girl asked. I look over to her and shrug.
"I guess we do our best to prove him wrong." I said. "I don't see why we cant light i fire though. So let's get some wood." After a couple trips of all of us getting some wood and a couple million tries and making a spark, a flame starts to grow. We all gather around as it gets bigger and the warmth soothes my fear. We well get out of here for sure. What did he know? Than i heard the hum. It startled all of us. We stood up as the sand started to shift under us

"Oh my-" a girl started when a a head of a warm blew out of the said and growled. A girl screamed. It had teeth all around its circular head, that were mashing and gnashing. I picked up a burning log and chucked it at it. It screamed in a high pitched wail. I thought i heard Adam yelling

Harmony

Harmony screeched with a mix of fear and disgust as this THING pops out of the fire. She takes a jump back, falling on her buttocks, and staring in shock as the guy that had spoken earlier hit it with a log. She shook her head in disbelief,
"What the hell was that!?"

The guy that had hit it with a log looks over to Harmony, and shrugs, his eyes wide. Harmony bit down on her bottom lip, hard, hard enough to draw blood, her butt aching from the fall, the pounding in her head starting again, I've gotta get outta here, she thought to herself, her eyes widening at the sight of the dead body of the strange creature.
